For it being a last minute booking, we couldn’t be happier with the place we chose! The property manager was awesome and the view from the balcony was better than expected. If we visit Kihei again we’d definitely consider booking here again!

Exactly as pictured! Fun stay lots of stuff to use!
The only down side was there was Alot of dust on the bed frame, no big deal but easy wipe up! Beautiful property loved the walk to the beach! Exactly what was expected. The whole equipment available was awesome the beach chairs, umbrella, the cart made all beach trips amazing! I would definitely stay with VIP properties again!

The property were nice looking but the floor were so sticky not clean the bed sheets were not washed at all they smell very bad and the first two days of our stay we didn’t have any hot water and we were waking up on the noise of the neighbors the dish washer need some work the sink stink like fish

This worked really well for our family. The king bed was really comfy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. Tons of beach toys, chairs, and a wagon made beach days easy. The smart TV was easy to use.We used the hot tub and pool area every night and even used the grill. They clean the grills nightly, they were great. The location was easy to move around. We weren’t a fan of the beach in front of the condo though, it was a little rocky. There was a huge grassy area that was fun to play at.The only downside was that there is no laundry in the unit, but it was still fine. We had an issue the second night (which happened to be Easter Sunday) the team was super responsive and got the issue taken care of as soon as possible. Great hospitality.

False advertising for this condo. It was very expensive and yet the views were not stunning at all, and I wouldn’t call it GORGEOUS either! You have to crane your neck to see water, and the main view is a parking lot and other condos. Most of the beach chairs were broken. I tried 3 before finding one that wasn’t. There’s an iron but no ironing board. The fitted sheet on the bed kept popping off. There’s all sorts of junk in the closets that made hanging clothes challenging. The building mgrs. keep a “closed” sign on their door and act as if they’re doing you a favor to open it to answer questions. Overall, I did not get the value I was expecting for the money I paid. Very disappointing. On the upside, the island is beautiful and Kehei is centrally located to many places to explore. I would stay in this little town again, but not this condo.

We stayed for a week long honeymoon and had a wonderful time! The condo was very nice and clean as well as in a great location! If I had to nit-pic a complaint it would only be to suggest putting a better shower head in the bathroom. Other than that little gripe this stay was perfect!

Property and amenities were good although the bathroom is very small. Close to beach but rock all mixed in with sand so we went to better beaches. Swimming pool and hot tub were very good and we used them several times.

We enjoyed our two weeks at Kauhale Makai. The unit we stayed in was clean, modern and well equipped. The pool and BBQ facilities were good and easily accessible. The sunset views from the beach and our balcony were great. The biggest drawback was the location. Very few amenities are within walking distance so we drove the whole time.

Has all the basics but it’s not as large as the photos would suggest. It was adequate for a couple and maybe a child or two but more adults would be a little tight. The furnishings were nicely done and there was access to beach chairs and more things for water activities. The door code provided minimal security as there was no way to alter it permanently and the suite doesn’t have a safe. There’s a huge lawn out front but no meaningful shade. Beach access is an easy level walk though the beach itself isn’t particularly attractive. The grill and pool area is very clean and nice.On a 5 star scale, I’d rate it 3 -3 1/2.

Overall, a good stay. the location is great, views are pretty, kitchen was well equipped, the property has been nicely updated and has generally a good ambiance. Really appreciated the cooler bag, beach chairs, umbrella etc - wonderful extras!
However, while it was generally relatively clean and usable, the property desperately needs a THOROUGH deep clean especially in the bathroom - all the old drip marks on the bathroom walls, a new shower curtain that isn’t moldy on the bottom, proper wipe down of cupboards so handles aren’t sticky with other guests spills etc.
Aside from the need for a deep clean, the property also desperately needs a new mattress or at the very least, a mattress topper of sorts as the bed is extremely hard (and we’re used to a relatively firm mattress!) almost like a 2nd box spring!
All that being said, we did really enjoy our stay here and the two concerns we had are easily remedied and would make this an even better place to stay 😊

Condo was in a nice location with good view of ocean. Condo could have been cleaner (floors and shower grout and vent in shower). We were without a/c for 3+ days due to building outage, so Condo got very hot in afternoons even with doors and drapes closed:(. Well stocked and comfortable.

For a relatively last minute booking, this spot was able to reliably and comfortably accommodate us. Accurate, clean, gorgeous(as stated), attentive, very peaceful and soothing. Cliche as it may sound, our only real complaint came when it was sadly time to leave. Would highly recommend, and intend on returning sometime next year hopefully.

Great place, building a bit on the older side, but updating of condo interior was very nice. Towels were a mix/match of every single color, thickness, and size. Biggest issue was the cleanliness of the unit #327, it was gross! The floors looked and felt like they hadnt been mopped in a very long time. We ended up going to walmart and buying bleach to mop ourselves before we could walk around without shoes on. The dishes and silverware were dirty and greasy, so everything had to be run thru diswasher before we could use. The corners of walls and behind doors were dusty and dirty, and the tub was extremely dirty. Once we spent several hours cleaning everything, it was then fairly comfortable. Bed and sheets were very good/comfortable.

The place was very cute, nice updating. Nice array of beach gear. Whom ever the cleaning crew is though, they are NOT doing their job well at all! The floors, tub, and dishes were filthy. Had to go to Walmart and get bleach to clean before we could walk on the floors without shoes on. Every glass, plate, and silverware had to be run thru the dishwasher before use. Corners and behind doors were just dusty and dirty. Limited array of various size, color, and thickness of bath towels, some very worn and thin. Bring quarters and laundry soap if you have more than 1 or 2 people in your party because you will have to do laundry daily. Fortunately the laundry room is right outside the front door though.

arrival check in was pretty simple , however I wish they would have accommodated us with an early check in before 4 pm since we landed at 12 but that’s okay. We arrived and everything looked clean and in its place. Although it LOOKED clean it wasn’t . My daughter dropped her toy behind the couch so we moved it to retrieve it & once we moved the couch it was a complete mess under there dirt, sand & dust . So I took it upon myself to sweep it up since my daughter would be sleeping on the pull out couch . The vent in the shower was completely filled with dust. & the closet was filled with sand from previous visitors. I just don’t understand how we paid $175 for a cleaning fee when it was still dirty. Sheets in the main bedroom were stained & it made me feel so uncomfortable we used 1 out of the 3 tide pods they left us to wash their dirty sheets. The sheets for the pull out couch were old and raggedy , the duvet cover didn’t even have any filling inside it was just a worn out thin sheet. Not to mention the towels they left were thin , looked old & very small. I think you should get specific towels for the beach & specific towels for the bathroom . The main bed was hard as a rock & my back hurt every night. The patio was extremely dirty & although they wanted you to take off your shoes before walking through out their house it didn’t make sense since once you stepped out on the patio your feet would be completely BLACK when you came back in. They make it clear they only start you off with 2 toilet papers 1 roll for hand towels & 3 tide pods for washing, I just think that’s kind of absurd when I just paid $3400 to stay for 10days! I’m sure they could have spared a few of each. I really wanted to like this beautifully located place but I just think it’s time to upgrade sheets , towels & make sure the cleaning people do their job.

At first I was disappointed but quickly I realized this unit was better than it first seemed. The access to a nice beach was unbeatable after seeing others scramble for parking elsewhere. The bed was comfortable as was the temperatures in the the unit. The bathroom left a little to be desired as the layout was awkward. The unit came with nice beach chairs as well as beach towels. Everything was supplied as far as kithara tools for those wishing to dine in. I was shocked that we were asked to do the laundry before checking out. That confused me as were were asked to start the laundry but not to leave any wet laundry. So doesn’t that mean finish the laundry?Other than that it was a great place to stay and we enjoyed our time there.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. We were in great proximity to everything. The grassy park in front hosted many birds and this was nice. The beach allowed for an almost uninterrupted 10 mile run out and back. Loved the canoe clubs and we literally had turtles swim up to us nearby. There were great restaurants, loved Nalus. The condo was clean and had the perfect amount of everything while maintaining simplicity. The laundry across the hall was great. We loved the simple check in and out. Condo was clean and modern, perfectly sized for 2 people but you could fit 4 if you needed to. Location was super easy to get to from the airport and was a short drive to retaurants and activities in Kihei. Short walk across a grass field to the beach but we'd reccomend beach days spent at 'Big Beach' approximately 20 mins south.

Fantastic location and condo. Lanai was wonderful and the amenities -beach things, especially the wagon! was a great help to our adventures. Could not for the life of me find the hair dryer but that may very well have been user error. Would highly recommend and stay again. Ahead of arrival emails were informative and the book in the room answered any lingering questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Everything was great. The view and pictures are as advertised. When we arrived late at night the condo was very clean, lights we on and fans going. It was a relief after a long day of traveling. The pull out sofa is comfortable and the beach towels are a nice touch. The place is recently remodeled so it feels very new and modern.

There is absulutely nothing unique about this unit. The unit is not an oceanview, it is actually close to the road, has the next door condo view and a parking lot view. The shower is tight, the small sink is outside the tiny bathroom. Not meant for tall people.The unit smelled gross when we walked in, we had to open all the sliding doors to air the smell out. There was no linen for the sofa ready when we arrived, the pillows that were in the closet were dirty. Misleading ad, and too expensive for what it really is.We only stayed for 1 night since our flight arrived late at night. Otherwise, we would not have stayed a minute at all. The manager threatened to charge me for 4 nights if I will write a review. Well, if you're looking for an oceanfront and stunning view unit, this is not it.
