We always stay in the Poipu area and prefer the south side. This property was large enough for our family and very comfortable. We loved the welcome basket of goodie’s and the other amenities.
If there was one complaint, or suggestion I would recommend that the dryer be serviced as it takes an extra long time to dry if at all. The dry may have a clogged exhaust hose.

Very comfortable unit for our family of 6. Excellent location close to beaches, quiet community, well maintained grounds. Kitchen fully stocked to do some meals in. First floor lanai was great and unit even has beach toys chairs and umbrellas which was great. Minor wear and tear such as master BR door sticking but to be expected in a STR. Would definitely stay again!

The accommodation was spacious and welcoming. The only downside was a musty odor in dresser and in baths. The back of remote in the living room was missing and we couldn’t find it.

The unit was very nice and clean. Top notch. The on-line listing gave the impression it was closer to the beach than it was. It showed pictures with the beach in the background, but it is actually driving distance away. The property manager was very slow to respond on check-in and when we had an issue with all the smoke alarms going off (almost 24 hrs to respond). VRBO really gouges you on the extras. Over $1200 added to the cost for fees and cleaning, and we left the place spotless. Of course, this doesn't show up when you are comparing various condo prices on-line. I am new to VRBO, but would avoid t in the future. One and done.

The location on the property can't be beat - easy access from the parking lot and steps from the pool, but the lanai still felt semi-private. Absolutely perfect except for two small issues: the toilet in one of the bathrooms emitted a terrible high-pitched noise after a couple of hours of not being used... it was easily remedied by flushing the toilet or jiggling the latch under the tank, but still annoying. Also, the dryer basically didn't work - it took hours to dry a normal-size load of clothing. Other than that this is a ideal base for your family to explore Kauai or stay home and relax.

Our stay was great. The apartment was lovely - clean and everything in working order. Many of our group loved having the pool and hot tub available after a long day of excursions. The location was awesome - a 5-10 min walk to the beach. The only issue was we didn’t discover the spices in the cupboard over the stove until our week was almost over. The cupboard is high (all but one person wasn’t able to reach it) so we never looked in it. We had a good laugh! Good times. 🤗 Thank you.

The condo was just as described, but nicer. The pool, hot tub and grills were all well cared for each morning. The condo and lanai had plenty of space for our group of 6. All the beach gear was in wonderful condition. The location is right on the path for a quick walk to Po'ipu Beach. We didn't get check-in info until the last minute, but the property managers were extremely responsive. Our 3 generation family group would love to stay here again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. This well appointed spacious condo easily accommodated our family. The location was perfect for a relaxing family getaway. Poolside and a quick walk through beautiful grounds to the beach. I would definitely stay here again!

The Villas at Poipu Kai did not disappoint! We stayed with our two little kids (and rented baby gear from Kauai Baby Rentals which was genius) and a set of grandparents to have some extra hands! The suite itself is well laid out, very spacious rooms, awesome to have 2 king beds for the 2 adult couples! The pool is AMAZING with a shallower end for the littles and a great hot tub with waterfall. But best of all is the location! A short walk down the paved beach path (5-10mins) drops you straight at Poipu beach which I think is the best beach on the island for kids. Plus there were 10-20 turtles that beached every night to rest and tons of fish to see when snorkelling. Will definitely come back!
