We love this condo, its amenities and proximity to all the fun stuff you can do in Maui. Another great part of staying at the Maui Sunset is the pool, hottub, shuffle board, putting green, and access to Tennis courts and Pickle ball.

This place has a perfect location in Kihei . The condo was very clean and comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous and the pool area is large enough for everyone. It’s a very short walk through a nice grassy area to the beach where we saw turtles and found shells.

We have come to the Maui Sunset for years now and it is always lovely time. This time was different as we now have 3 children under 6 years old but we were able to fit comfortably and everyone had a fabulous time. The grounds are always gorgeous and the pool was perfect. We love the condo and also can't say enough about the lovely hosts! We will definitely be back!

The place was amazingly beautiful and clean, both on the grounds and in the condo! Everything about the stay was perfect, not one complaint. The condo had random things you’d need like calamine lotion if you got millions of bites like I did exploring Venus ponds and Valentina if you like extra spice on your food! 10/10 stay and way better upgrade than our last time in Hawaii. Appreciate this opportunity Mary and Ron!

This place was just perfect for my family of 5. I loved the location - not too busy and crammed with resorts and confusing roads/driveways/parking. Easy walk to the beach, nice balcony, close to the cute little shopping places in Kihei. Would stay again and would definitely recommend to others!

We love staying at the Maui Sunset. Great location. Host very responsive to our needs. Have a 4 for cleaning, the oven was very greasy and floor a bit dirty. Host immediately contacted cleaners, wonderful hosts. The bed was a dream with a memory foam topper, plenty of towels beach things. Well equipped.condo. Bedroom a/c unit kept the room very comfortable for sleeping. 2nd unit in living area worked well too. Usually just used the trade winds to cool. Definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time staying here! There's a slight ocean view, which means it's a quick walk to the beach. The pool and hot tub are fun too. The location, close to town, was helpful. And the unit is nice and clean, perfect for two or more people. The hostess was super helpful and responsive. We definitely recommend staying here!

This property was perfect for a solo getaway! Great location for exploring Maui, or relaxing on the beach or by the pool. Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds.

Very much enjoyed the full set-up kitchen and bbqs for all my cooking needs.
Great hot tub and pool area with very short walk across the well manicured grass to the beach.
Very responsive hosts, place was very clean.

We arrived late afternoon, and grabbed the keys from the main office. Our party was two adults, and two teenagers. The suite was very well equipped with beach gear (chairs, towels, umbrellas, sand toys, snorkel equipment, and bags). The kitchen has everything you would need from dishes and cutlery, to measuring cups and baking pans. The in-suite laundry is a bonus, allowing us to pack light and only bring carry-on avoiding the chance of losing luggage. Parking is first come, first served, but we never had an issue finding a spot.
The view from the lanai is beautiful; the grounds, pool, and ocean are all right there, and you can catch the sunset from this side of the complex without leaving your spot.
The facility has BBQs available for use, as well as shuffleboard, pickle ball, and tennis. The pool and hot tub are very well maintained, as are the grounds.
The complex itself is located close to amenities, but not in the middle of all of the business of the shops. Access to the beach is at the edge of the grounds, and the sunsets do not disappoint.
We were able to see whales due to our time of year right from the shore, as well as some turtles sunning themselves just up the beach on our morning strolls. The building hosts both year round locals, as well as short term rental visitors such as us, and regardless of who we met, everyone was friendly and helpful.
Communication with the host was easy and efficient, and we can't wait to return!

The area around the unit is very nice, if you are traveling with small kids like we were there is a McDonalds and Panda Express right down the road which are life savers. Great deal of food options within a short driving distance, gas station, 24hr pharmacy and two grocery stores. Parking is first come first serve, but I never had any issues getting great parking. The unit is right off the elevators, and the master bedroom closest to it, but I slept w/o issues the whole stay (1 week).
I really cannot recommend this unit enough, Mary-Ellen was a wonderful host and you can tell that the unit means a lot to her as the there is a great investment on her part to make it usable by other's like myself.

The kitchen is stocked with all the tools you need to cook at home as dining out can be expensive. The condo has beach gear (sand toys, chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards) which was great for our family. The property is excellent - well maintained, right on the beach with a very nice pool. We saw a turtle right off the shore one day! The location of the complex is fabulous as well. 3 grocery stores and a 24 hour pharmacy only a couple minutes away. Would stay again.

Unit 307A was a perfect location near grocery stores, drive to any beach on the island as its pretty centrally located, kitchen had the whole set up, laundry was helpful with small kids and a longer stay, King bed was very comfortable, the A/C worked great!

This is a wonderful condo at the Maui Sunset. The second bathroom is a total gem for our family of 4 and all those extra showers from the beach. There is a closet full of beach stuff - boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, ice chest, etc. There are also lots of games that my kids fell in love with and I'm apparently purchasing from amazon now. The extra second twin size bed was perfect to separate my kids with one on the sofa bed and one on the twin bed and that worked perfectly and without sibling conflict (the owner had the sofa bed made up and out before we arrived!). The king in the master was very comfortable and the a/c units cooled the property nicely (although we turned them off a lot with the open screen door to the lanai). The kitchen is so fully stocked that you think someone lives here, including baggies, foil, all the pots/pans/cups/utensils/etc. Don't overlook in the in-room washer/dryer as we ended up using it all the time and was so convenient in the condo. The owner is wonderful and very kind, and the Maui Sunset has got to be the best property in Kihei (look at the google reviews). We played shuffleboard, swam in the pool, walked to the beach to swim (some small rocks/ gravel in the water) and saw a turtle floating by. Everything here was great and you should not hesitate to book this property.
