We had a great time in Maui and loved #220. The grounds are lovely and the staff, esp Brian(or Kevin, forgot his name) Keoni, Zaldy very helpful! The unit was nice, clean..could use a lil update but was very comfortable. It was just us girls & the sofa bed was hard to open so one of us just slept on the couch. Would defintely stay again and recommend to friends!

Condo was nicely decorated. The beach chairs and the beach umbrella are in a bad state. Most of the chairs are not usable or falling apart. The kitchen ha one very small pot and one very large pot but nothing between. We noticed that the much needed foam top for the hide-a- bed was badly torn. We had to buy beach towels because there were only 2 as well as only 1 face cloth.

Rental experience was good,front office helped with replacement of missing items that were needed. A washcloth and bath mat were missing. The washer leaked on big loads. Property manager came quickly and ordered new door. The microwave works no problem but is a bit beat up.

We have stayed in this particular condo #220 many times since 2006 and have always been so happy with it. However since there was a change of owners we have definitely noticed a decline in condition of the condo. This time, (and I must mention it has been about 5 years since we stayed in this condo)we were well aware of how the furniture is generally worn out and soiled now. The carpeting was in need of cleaning. The stocking of lawn chairs was very disappointing to say the least. The original chairs from years ago are still in the closet and are all torn and unsafe. There was 2 newer web style chairs but they are heavy and awkward to carry. I would encourage the owner to visit the condo and do some general updating. At the least, the property needs a deep clean. I would still recommend this property due to its great location and the staff. They are great!

The location is alright. But the beach across the street is more of a park with a very small and rocky beach. You will need to walk a few blocks to get to a beach. The closest places to eat are about a mile, so unless you want to walk quite a distance. The condo is plenty spacious. But only the bedroom has air conditioning. The rest of the condo can be stuffy unless you have both the lanai door and the front door opened to create air movement. It was too hot and stuffy for my son to sleep on the make down sofa. The wi-fi in our condo did not work. And there were ants in the kitchen and bathroom. We called the office, but did not receive any assistance.

We had a very nice stay in unit 220. It was updated and met all our expectations. Well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.Only one issue, for some reason, the internet service from the units router would not work due to an "incorrect password". So, we used an adjoining units signal for our stay, but that should have been fixed.Overall, we like the Hale Kamole units very much, and will return sometime soon.

We stayed for a week. Loved the location. It is steps away from a perfect beach and a super short drive to anywhere in Kihei or Wailea. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. Boogie boards, chairs and snorkel equipment are in the storage on the patio.

Overall the unit and accommodations were very nice! Some basic amenities were missing ( a mix up with telephone services... and some household items could be updated) however there was a change in ownership of this condo so I am certain things will be worked out for future bookings. We could actually see the whales jumping in the ocean from our Lanai...Hale Kamaole is a lovely cooperative community to stay at...lots of green space, pools and close to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. Bus stop is close by if you don't have a car rental - there are lots of amenities within walking distance. Great place to relax and enjoy the wonders of Maui...

This suite is detail oriented, with unique stylish decorations and has a relaxed charm to it. The description is accurate, there is truly everything you need to have a relaxing and comfortable vacation. The kitchen is fully stocked to create beautiful meals, the bed is so spacious, and there is plenty of light in the living room. It is on the 2nd floor of a 3 tiered building. It was a joy staying here. Thank you!!

We usually rent from owners, however late attempt this year necessitated through Co-op. #l, more expensive and the unit while very nice was void of incidentals. Eg. no pepper or salt, We have always found certain items necessary for cooking in our rentals, but this time zip. Spent money one these without every using them up. Another example were plastic food waste bags. You only need approx. five for a two week stay, but you buy fifty in Safeway.

We stayed at the Hale Kamaole for 23 nights in unit 220. Most enjoyable. This was our second stay at this complex. We stayed in a different unit last time (nice also). This condo has been tastefully updated and met all our needs for comfort. The condo was very well equipped with beach umbrellas ample beach chairs and coolers. There were also beach toys and boogie boards which we never used but were there if we did. There were lots of dishes and cookware, dishwasher and washer & dryer. The location was/is great across from the beach. The addition of the gas BBQ's to the briquette ones was nice too, we used both during our stay. The bbq's are a great place to visit with other guests and residents at the complex and share places and tours to explore. The grounds were very well kept with ample room for kids to play and two pools with umbrellas for shade. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all a great stay and would definitely recommend to others.

This was our first trip to Maui but we had been provided a lot of detail from our family members who have been quickly making it a regular location to go. The one place they all agreed on was Hale Kamole as a rental place. They were certainly right. The overall complex is clean and well kept. Generally pretty quiet and the local on site amenities like the BBQs and pool were well kept and convienent. It's right across from one of the best beaches in the area, particularly if you have kids.As for this unit, 220 it was nicely decorated and served us well. If I had one comment to make it would be that there were perhaps a few less sundries and cleaning supplies that one might expect. We were there for 10 nights and 9 days and weren't provided any dishcloths to wash dishes that didn't go in the dishwasher though we did find towels tucked away later, nothing to use in the sink so we bought a couple sponges so we weren't burning through the one roll of paper towel. TP and bathroom supplies were few and far between so just anticipate having to stock some of that up for your trip, not something I'm used to from similar rental properties.The deck has a storage locker like all these units do and this one is definitely well stocked with all kinds of beach stuff, there really isn't anything you'll be lacking in that regard.Beds are quite comfy and overall despite some warm days while there we had a pretty reasonable time keeping the place comfortable day and night.Highly recommend the complex and certainly this unit was a good pick, we'd stay again.

This was the right spot for adventurers like us! Somewhat central to all the things to do - but far enough away to be quiet. The suite was perfect, fantastically clean and well supplied. Quiet at night, comfortable, and easy. We appreciated the equipment for us to enjoy the road to Hanna - or a day at the beach. Doing the laundry was also a bonus. Highly recommend.
