While I only spent one night here, I will cancel future plans and come back to this little slice of paradise! Nowhere else on island compares to being right on the water and only a few steps to the beach from each and every condo. Look no further for the perfect place for spending time with friends and family. My only regret is that I didn't find this gorgeous property sooner! Staff has decades of experience on island, and is eager to share their knowledge - bonus!

The whole stay was wonderful. As soon as he walked in the door, my 14-year-old son let out an audible gasp as he loved the unit and the view.
The complex is a smaller development which is nice as it means you can get to know the other guests very easily in the lawn area or by the pool. free coffee is provided every morning and your only steps from the beach.
Management was super responsive to any questions and the location is fantastic. this particular area of sugar beach is good for swimming and paddle boarding but not really a snorkeling location.
I picked this spot as it is centrally located and makes going to Kapalua Bay or doing the road to Hana very accessible.
The unit itself was very well stocked and has everything you could possibly need. There are lots of chairs, noodles, snorkels and goggles available for public use as you had to the beach. under our bed there was two additional beach chairs and an umbrella.
it is a compact 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit but there is still plenty of room for four people. The upstairs bedroom is on a loft which is open to the downstairs. You might want to grab the "non-master" suite downstairs that has a door if you're going to be having sexy time ;)
I rented paddle boards which you get for 24 hours which is more than enough time so if you make friends with somebody in the complex early on you can either split the cost with them or share the paddle boards with everybody.
The parking lot is a little bit tight but manageable.

The unit was well maintained and had everything we needed for our family of 4. We love having lots of lounge chairs out by the beach to enjoy relaxing and reading while listening to the ocean and watching the sunset . From the quiet and beautiful sugar beach to the well maintained grounds it is one of our favourite places to vacation and it will certainly not be our last time here .

My mother and I stayed in B5. The unit, while cozy, was clean and well equipped. The balcony was small, so we enjoyed sunrises with our morning coffees in the common patio area. Other than that we didn’t spend a lot of time there because there were larger families who often had someone loudly speaking to family back home on speakerphone calls which was not pleasant to listen to. The beach out front was nice to look at but we preferred driving to swim at other beaches that had clearer water with less rocks. The pool was smaller than expected and not enticing so we didn’t use it. We rarely saw on-site staff and when we stopped in to ask for some snorkel recommendations she wasn’t very helpful. It was convenient having some beach equipment that was within the unit, though would have been nice to have unit-reserved folding beach chairs as the common area shared ones were tired and rusted with broken straps.

My husband and I and our 2 teenagers stayed at unit B5 and it was perfect for our family. The condo was beautiful and afforded us separation from the girls with their bed and bath downstairs and our upstairs. The condo had air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout and updated baths and kitchen. There was also a laundry room which was nice to have. The condo was right on the beach, and there was a cooler and umbrella in the closet for beach use, also many communal pool floaties which many people used taking their young children to the pool.

We enjoyed the condo very much, we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Plenty of beach towels, and anything you may need for an afternoon enjoying the beach. Kitchen was stocked very well with everything you may need to cook a meal.
Air conditioning was a major plus for us ! We slept very good and had wonderful views to wake up to each morning. Condo was clean, comfortable and perfect location!

This location was everything i could have asked for, for my first time in Maui. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and well stocked. We even had time to enjoy a few of the board games that were provided, which was something we didn’t even think we’d need on our stay but it was great for late night entertainment. The beach is so close and the pool/bbq area is really nice. Grocery shopping is not very far at all and so convenient, since we had a full kitchen it was a great option for us to stock up on thing we could make quickly. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Maui!

The condo was nice, loved the art. We found everything we needed. However, we arrived during a huge rainstorm and there was a flash flood during the night. The entire property was covered in mud, no TV or internet. Beach access destroyed by mud, swimming pool and patio flooded. We were on 2nd level so no flooding in our condo. Management worked hard to get things cleaned up. We understand how the storm issues were overwhelming and a lot of work for managers. After the 3rd day I spoke with Connie, manager and thanked them for their efforts and asked if there was a possibility of financial reimbursement as still no TV, internet, pool or beach access. She said we should just leave and would be reimbursed at a later date. She was not helpful at all. We stayed our week and did get beach access the last 2 days. We were never contacted by manage, no updates etc. we enjoyed the condo, it was small but met all our needs.

We visit Maui yearly to spend time with family who live on the island , and this property hidden gem!!!
The condo was beautifully decorated with a pleasant and contemporary style. The location was absolutely amazing, and the beautiful beach was so minimally crowded, it felt private. The place is well stocked with everything you would need, and there are a TON of communal beach and pool equipment available for everyone at the condo to share.

Loved the easy access to a quiet, beautiful beach. The unit was pretty, comfortable, well-equipped and well-airconditioned. It has a quiet, family feel - the courtyard area often had families grilling, eating, just steps from the water front. The grounds are lovely and the view from the patio is breathtaking. We loved catching crabs and taking long walks on beautiful Sugar Beach. Extras like nightlights, ceiling fans, a/c in each room, beach towels, ice maker, condo sand toys, beach chairs, and floats, made our stay so enjoyable.

This unit was just wonderful and we loved Kihei Sands. B5 had plenty of room for the 4 of us. It was totally updated, clean, and had a nice Hawaiian beachy vibe. Comfortable beds as well and everything you could need in the kitchen. Beautiful view too! The beach is only feet away. We even snorkeled right out front (to the right and out a little bit). The staff, Connie and Patrick, made our trip easy and enjoyable from start to finish. We will definitely come back again as soon as we can! Thanks for a perfect, friendly vacation spot.

We first came here on our honeymoon 26 years ago and fell in love with it, kihei is very laid back and the sands make it even more so for us. Brought our kids about 7 years ago and they loved it too. We loved staying at Kihei Sands Condo. Overall, the condo was great - clean, excellent location, pool, beach supplies to use in front of the beach. We thought that because of the location in North Kihei, it was a great location to either travel north or south on the island. A couple of things to note - we stayed with another couple, and slept in the loft area, and didn't really feel like we had our own privacy, as every noise from the main level was easily heard. There was also not enough toilet paper for us to last the full 12 days of our stay, and we had to purchase more on our own. Lots of cooking supplies, a few spices, beach towels, 2 sets of bath towels for the 12 days, lounge chairs to hang out close to the beach, these were all positives of the condo.

We had an awesome trip and stay ... we've been to the Kihei Sands a few times and we always come back..the room was great and had everything we needed we also stayed in B10 and were super happy with that one as well. Sue and Hamid did a great job especially with our kids (2 and 4). They were calling the kids by name within just a few days of being there... would and will definitely be back

We were a group of 16 renting 4 of the units.We were so happy that we chose Kihei Sands, after much research we settled on your property.I like smaller properties that offer a more family feel to them. We were not disappointed at all. The beach was just steps away, and the condo was perfect having all the comforts of home. I will recommend this place to my coworkers and clients.

Overall we had a great stay at B5. The place is exactly as shown in the pictures with a cozy modern look. The unit is well equipped with what you need for a family holiday. We even managed to make a few meals in the evenings. The Lanai is a bit small with only two seats so it didn't get used much. The property is well maintained and small enough you feel comfortable chatting with other guests on the property. Sue, Mark, and Karrie are great hosts and they tried their best to accommodate us. There's a small technical hick-up at check in at 11pm (code didn't work), but it was resolved the asap the next morning. Carrie accommodated a late check out based on availability and that was greatly appreciated! Thank you Kihei Sands and all the staff that made our holiday a memorable. I would recommend this place if you want a quiet spot right on the beach in Kihei.

We stayed in Condo B5, which is beautifully updated and furnished in tropical decor. Although the balcony is small, the view was beautiful. The condo is very spacious, our party of 5 never felt cramped or crowded. The kitchen was very well stocked, complete with spices. There were even coolers and some beach toys in the closet and I loved the "left behind" beach chairs and toys under the stairs for all renter's use. I took advantage of the convenience of the laundry facilities also, and had everything freshly laundered for our next island jaunt. The condo is located in a great central location, convenient to Haleakala, the road to Hana, Lahaina, and the airport. The property management folks were the best! Due to the weather and the high winds, the only day for a sail/snorkel trip to Molokini was on the day we were to check out at 10:00. I asked if there was any possibility that we could have a late check-out so we could shower after the snorkel trip. Since no one was checking in later that day, the management was gracious to extend our check-out time to 3:00 pm, to allow us time to return from the snorkel trip, shower, finish packing, and be on our way. we could not have asked for more from the accommodations or the management staff! Thanks so much! We hope to come back. If we do, we will be staying at Kihei Sands!

It was beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished( yay! for the new sectional), and well equipped with all you that you need for that perfect beach vacation. We love the location of Kihei Sands, but the friends we meet, the great accommodations, and the fantastic job that the management of Cheri and Jonathan do keeps us returning year after year!

Another Christmas holiday spent at Kihei Sands and after going there since 1979, it never disappoints. Starting with the enthusiasm of managers Jonathan and Cheri, who go out of their way to make your experience there fun and relaxing, coffee set up on the patio every morning, special weekly events organized for any of the guests who want to take part, and a wonderful festive atmosphere that we always enjoy at this time of year. Everything around the complex is carefully tended to from the gardens to the pool. Our unit was perfect, well stocked, air conditioned, and a stones throw away from the beautiful beach. We greatly enjoyed our nightly BBQing out on the patio and watching the spectacular sunsets . We can't wait to come back!!
