Where do I begin. Several family members traveled to Maui and stayed at Kihei Sands. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and was even able to check in early. The condo was clean, spacious and the kitchen was very well stocked. The view from B9 was incredible. Highly recommend this unit. As a family, we all met on the patio for morning coffee. We listened to the ocean and enjoyed the warm weather and breezes. In the evenings we would gather again for a BBQ or potluck dinner. This time watching the incredible sunsets and even star gazing. The owner and manager were always accessible and extremely accommodating. We could not have asked for more. Kihei Sands is located right next door to Sugar Beach Events. The perfect place to stay if attending a wedding. The property was always clean and very well maintained. Our whole experience at Kihei Sands was truly magical. If we are ever fortunate enough to visit Maui again, we will definitely be staying at Kihei Sands. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

What a wonderful place to stay!! So close to the water, the beds were comfortable, the people who worked there were lovely and we were so close to so much! I loved it. We had both of the water front second story units and I could not have been happier. Two small complaints. The first was the one of the owners/neighbors was doing construction on his bathroom and would start with saws and hammers at 7am every morning. Second was that they put out coffee in the courtyard in front around 6:30am which should have been lovely except that meant a bunch of people talking loudly in front of our windows. Everything was perfect t about these two condos with the exception of getting woken up between 6:30-7am every morning while on vacay...that was not awesome.

I spent a week at Kihei Sands with my youngest son and two grandsons in unit B9. It was our first time on Maui and we had a wonderful experience. Staying at Kihei Sands was a huge part of that wonderful experience on Maui. The staff was very responsive via email prior to us coming out, especially with my concerns regarding the recent fires. We will definitely return to Kihei Sands on our next trip to Maui!

It is a bit small, but we were able to fit a queen-size air mattress in the livingroom area. Note that the second bedroom is a loft -- not an enclosed bedroom. This wasn't ideal, and that hadn't been clear from the listing. The kitchen is quite small as well, but nicely equipped. We like to cook and there were all the pots and pans and tools needed, plus a ton of spices and oils, etc. We were not bothered by any noise from people gathering down in the common area, which some other reviews had mentioned. Parking is included, but the spots are VERY tight. The location is perfect - basically in the middle of the island, and the sandy beach in front is gorgeous!

This unit has a wonderful view and adequate space for two couples. The kitchen is a bit tight but manageable once you get your groove. We found the kitchen cupboard overflowing with dishes and cookware so moved some out of our reach. Next time we will purge to the bedroom closet to make it more workable for us. The on-site manager was very responsive. Good location on a great beach. Easy to access from the highway.

This condo is at the front of the complex on the ocean, has a great balcony, 2B 2B with all windows facing the ocean. The small complex and this unit are well cared for; it has a full well equipped kitchen. We didn't feel the need to use the small pool with the ocean so close. There is a small lawn and patin with lounges, tables and BBQ's. There is beach equipment available to be used as well as great beach towels in each unit. We had a parking pass for the small lot off the highway.

Great ocean front condo. Steps away from grassy area with chaise lounges, nice beach or pool. Online photos are accurate. Spacious enough inside for 4 adults. The lanai is small with just enough space to sit but not spread out. Nice central location to access Haleakala NP, RTH, Upcountry, restaurants and beaches up and down the coastline.

Lovely suite right on the water (B9). Wonderful sunrise and sunsets from our balcony. We four women felt very safe here. It’s very family oriented. A great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Hawaii. The beach was phenomenal. Easy access and no obstacles in the water. We loved waking up and heading out for a sunrise swim. There were beach toys, sun screen, umbrellas, beach chairs and boogie boards available for vacationers to use during their stay. . Thick fuzzy beach towels were a lovely treat. Complimentary coffee was served every morning on the beach patio . We loved our stay here and can’t wait to come back again!

Beautiful condo and beach. Could see whales blowing water in the distance. A/c worked great, full kitchen was nice. Shower heads were not strong at all and there were tiny bugs in the upstairs bathroom so you don't really want to leave your stuff in there.

I have been coming to Maui since 1997 and stayed in a few different locations over the years. Kihei Sands is by far the best place to stay, hands down. With the intimate feel of only about 40 condos and the silky sand of Sugar Beach, you just can't compare it to any other location. Pool is super clean & refreshing, gas barbeques and coffee every morning on the patio, smores nights, lots of pool toys and beach chairs for all to use. Condos have always been extremely clean, they provide beach towels and all the basic supplies you need for your stay including spices, tp, soaps etc. Staff is always friendly and willing to help with anything. I will never stay anywhere else.

This place was amazing. Clean and well equipped with everything you need to envoy your vacation. The pictures don’t do this place justice. It was closer to the water than what the photos show. We enjoyed the little bar/restaurant next door at the Sugar Beach resort and a short walk down the beach and across the street was a ABC store and a nice little bakery for freshly baked pastries and coffee. Thank you so much for keeping this place clean and friendly.

Stayed here with family in November. Love the central south Kihei location & beach access directly in front of this unit. Small complex. Friendly staff. This unit is good for two couples and sits directly on the beach ( you’ll hear those waves which can take a day to get used to!) stunning sunrise & sunset views! This unit also has the largest outdoor space, which comfortably seats for. 4. Comfortable furnishings & beds (2-Kings). Well stocked kitchen basics make it great for longer stays. We love Kihei Sands & will be back.

We hit the jackpot with this place! Location was perfect for us, as it was close to everywhere we wanted to visit. The view from the balcony to watch whales through the binoculars and to watch the sunset and just enjoy the sunshine was amazing! We saved money by having a place equalized with a kitchen. Staff was polite and helpful. While we were there, we were able to walk on the beach to get to the farmers market and the ABC store. The guacamole at the farmers market was delicious, and they had organic tortilla chips to go with it. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

The communal BBQs make are a great touch, although we never took advantage. The pool is not huge but just perfect (again, not a lot of people to crowd the place). The beach... AWESOME! The water is quite calm there so no concerns about rip tide or getting destroyed by big waves! Perfect swimming beach especially with kids. The sand is incredible and NO ROCKS! Unreal! The condo we stayed in (B9) is pretty much the best unit there as it is directly water front. The deck, while small, has unrestricted views of the beach and ocean. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck with a favorite beverage and watching the whales! LOTS of whales. Beautiful experience. The unit is not large (pictures make it look bigger than it is), but was perfect for our family of 4 (2 10 year olds). It was clean and has all the conveniences of home (unlike a hotel). Our vacation (our first trip ever to Hawaii) was absolutely perfect and I can't say enough good things about Kihei sands! And they even provided PERFECT weather for us!! The staff was remarkable, the facilities worked well with our group. There was only one draw back from our stay, which was prior to our stay, when we ask to find a boat to go out to spread ashes. The prices did not reflect any cost that was reasonable. We were lucky that I had set enough time before the need to arrange it ourselves. Not two to three thousand that the concierge had proposed.
