We had a great stay at the Beach Villas - the resort is so wonderful. Only comments for this particular villa for future guests is we never received the remote for a TV that we mentioned was broken. It was taken by the onsite manager to no resolve, so as a guest, make sure all the equipment works during walkthrough. The hideabed is perhaps rusty as it would lock up easily and as an older couple, we had to ask for maintenance to come help open it - might be time to get a new one. The pillows for sleeping either need replacing or a good wash/sanitizing, they were a bit musty smelling. Other than that, everything was great and we loved our time there. Cheers!

We needed an 'easy' option for vacation with young kids. This condo was great, it had everything we needed and more. It was clean, quiet, and there was a lovely lanai - ocean sounds + sunsets galore! Good layout, easy parking, and laundry in suite. Staff on site were friendly and helpful. Our kids loved feeding the koi.
The pools are lovely, the beach is kid-friendly and protected, the path along the ocean is nice for a short stroll. Local restaurants were good though pricey. We loved having the 'instacart' option through the property management company so our groceries were already in the fridge when we arrived.
Hawaii is spectacular and you could stay in a tent and still enjoy it plenty. We appreciated the comfort/extra amenities given we were travelling with small kids.
To make this 6*, I would suggest:
1) making the 'being met by property management on arrival' optional. Everything is very straightforward so I think many families just don't need to be met. (We wasted a lot of calls/texts trying to coordinate and ultimately weren't met and it was fine!)
2) the appliances; they are high end but perhaps need some upkeep. The induction range is slow to heat up. The dishwasher does a terrible job, even loaded lightly (we have a similar model at home and it is great) - perhaps it needs to be cleaned?
3) set up the crib for families that request a crib
4) better mattress in M BR

The property is very well maintained, the pool is great and the condo itself was very clean and well stocked. The view from the deck is perfect for watching the sunset. We called Michael about early checkin and he had great communication about when it would be ready and we were able to check in a bit early. The lagoons around the resort are perfect for families and it’s really a great location. Would definitely come back here again! Thanks for a great stay!

Property was clean, well supplied and had great views. Furniture and decorations were nice and not overused like some of the other properties we’ve stayed at. Royal Hawaiian Beach Services is an excellent new addition to Lagoon 2 and makes spending the day on the lagoon much more convenient.

This was our first trip to Oahu. We feel like we really lucked out to find such a gem. The location is amazing, literally you walk out on the beach. The sunsets are stunning and later in the day when it's hot you aren't hit with the sun on your lanai like several others. We enjoyed the condo, most of all it was very clean, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. The water toys, chairs, wagon and cooler were a perfect touch for our daily lunch or dinner on the beach. Communication with Michael was good, we never really need anything but when we arrive to Hawaii he was helpful letting us know the check in process. We will definitely be back and most definitely stay in the same condo.

This was our second time staying at the Beach Villas and first time in BT702. We called Michael when we got our rental car and he let us know exactly how long it would be before the unit would be ready (we arrived very early that day). He gave us tips on where to go before arriving to buy food and get food to eat. When we arrived at the Villas, Michael was very friendly and helpful. He showed us how to use the remotes with the TVs and how to use the washer/dryer. They had beach chairs and all the water toys we needed for our beach days with a wagon to haul everything. We had beautiful sunsets every night. I would highly recommend staying in this unit.

Excellent property, nice neighborhood, great view of the ocean. The coves were great to swim in . Condo was excellent, top of the line appliances, the beds were very comfortable. Covered parking was great. All of the beach equipment provided was a nice touch.

This was our first time staying in Ko Olina. The beach villas were amazing. Spacious and comfortable. Loved the view from this unit! Extras that we used were in the storage closet - asking about those so you don't have to bring them is a great idea. Bring reusable bags to grocery store - or you will be charged for them. (love this concept). There were a couple in the cabinet to use also.
There were beach towels that were great to use. Beach mats and some blow up items. The drying rack was a great addition.
If you are renting a car - parking is wonderful but tight. A 15 passenger van would not have been fun maneuvering in the parking area. We had a mini SUV and it was fine.
The beach is great - so is the pool. Lots of hot tub time too! Great having 2 options for pools.
Restaurants in walking distance was nice and we cooked a lot - Costco and Target and grocery stores are very close by - but drivable distance. We also used Instacart before we got there and the groceries were in the unit when we arrived.

We stayed here for 6 weeks. The condo and furnishings are excellent. The condo is very well equipped. The views from the lanai can't be beat with a beautiful Hawaii sunset view every day from there or from the beach bar. The owner is immediately responsive to any problems.

Owner neglected to tell us that one exterior wall of our condo is under construction. Forget about sleeping in or taking afternoon naps or staying in the condo during the day.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ko Olina Beach villas. The unit was gorgeous, had an amazing view, and all the comforts of home. While we did have a noise issue the property management company was quick to address it and resolve it. No one should ever expect an absolutely perfect stay but this company went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The unit is in the most perfect location on a gorgeous beach. My small children loved the pool and the beach. We loved the pool bar (Hi Dave!). I’d 1000% stay here again!

We had an amazing week in Ko Olina! The Beach Villas of Ko Olina were so beautiful and our lagoon (Lagoon 2) was never crowded! (The 1st lagoon towards Aulani was always packed as it serves Aulani and the Four Seasons). We even snorkeled and saw sea turtles in ours! The area is so cute with a few restaurants and shopping. (Some still closed…so we did venture out for dining else where a few times) It was nice to walk everywhere! We loved everything about it!

This was our first time staying at Ko’olina. We are from Kailua so we typically stay there but not anymore. We loved it out on the west side! We had a gorgeous condo with a view of the lagoon, sunsets and Aulani and Four Seasons. All staff was super polite and welcoming. It wasn’t crazy and crowded like the Marriott. Would highly recommend!

This was perfect for our family of 5. Location is great as we enjoyed a beautiful sunset every night. Michael was easy to communicate with and met us at the place even though we didn't arrive until around 9pm. They also had water and local snacks that came in handy the next day before we could get to a store. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed including beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkel sets, which again came in very handy for our small family. Would defenitely recommend this place for a family traveling to Oahu.

We stayed at Mike's villa from April 20 through May 4th and enjoyed every day from sunrise to late evening on the patio or walks along the beach front. We can not wait to go back. Mike's service was excellent. The villas was as described and more. Ko olina resort entertained everyone and the beach lagoons are so inviting and relaxing. You can not compare this to the Waikiki beach were everyone is around you and you are lucky to find a place for your towel. Here you have plenty of beach, palm trees and grassy areas to spread out. We loved the spacious living area and the gourmet kitchen. The bedrooms on each side is an excellent layout as it gives individuals or couples privacy. It was nice to be only 1/2 hour from Waikiki for the great dinners, happy hours, night life and of course shopping. This resort is a great central area a drive to north shore or turtle bay was only 1/2 to 45 minutes. As other have mentioned everything you need is within 10 minutes (Costco, etc). Although the beach villas do not offer pool side food service there are two Marriott's within 3 minute walk or the market cafe-my son quickly adapted.

The views from this pristine Beach Tower Villa are incredible. We enjoyed every inch of the resort- relaxing by the quiet pool, having drinks in the hot tub while watching the sunset, lunching at the outdoor restaurant next door, jogging the many miles of ocean view sidewalks, swimming in the lagoon, and enjoying dinner on the patio at Just Tacos and Roy's. We took a short drive to the North Shore and watched championship surfing one day. Another day we took the short drive to Waikiki for shopping, sightseeing and dinner. The drive along the southern coast to Maka pu'u Lighthouse is not to be missed- but requires a bit longer drive south of Waikiki- maybe 45 minutes? The Villa itself is top-of-the-line EVERYTHING. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our week in this condo. There was everything you needed right at your fingertips. The view of the ocean and lagoon from the balcony was perfect. This is a great place to spend your vacation and te Ko Olina area has great beaches, places to walk or run for exercise and convenient places to shop with the ABC in the area.

We stayed in this unit from 8/7/2010-8/17/2010.
Gated entrance, white sand beach, private Lagoons (the best lap swim; in the ocean); and a paved boardwalk for a nice run or walk! The lagoon water was calm and perfect for the kids to swim without the big waves sweeping them out. Perfect for Beach Lovers to relax on the white sand and Golfers' dream just across the street.....
The resort was clean, quiet and parking was easy. Beach access was a couple steps outside and near was crowded.
This unit has everything you need for your stay. A stunning sunset view, clean, and comfortable. We love the slider doors open to the lanai. Cook your meals with top notch appliances.
The construction noise was never a bothersome to us.
Near by stores: Costco, Starbucks, Target, Safeway, sushi, and a whole bunch of good restaurants just one freeway exit from the resort.
We already recommended friends and family to stay here. The best stay we ever had in Hawaii and we definitely will come back!
