BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. This condo is in a great location, close to everything. Groceries, beaches, snorkelling. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked all of our meals there and ate out on the beautiful lanai. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Except maybe better pillows. A minor thing considering it was otherwise exceptional .

Spacious, well-equipped unit, nicely located in Wailea. Ten-minute walk to the beach; many beaches easily accessible by car. We agree with other reviewers that the directions to the unit need to be clarified. Fortunately, I had read the other reviews and did research beforehand, so we found the unit fairly easily. Two additional suggestions: the bed pillows need to be replaced as they are worn out; and cleaning staff should check the beach chairs regularly (we found garbage left by previous renters in the pockets - gross).

The property was fabulous. Our only issue was finding the unit. The dirextions took us to the main entrance but our entance was 2 bocks away on a different street. It was very stressful until we figured it out.

The location of this unit is one of the best in Kihei. The interior is just as beautiful as it appears in the listing. It will not disappoint.

The unit we rented for over 6 weeks was without air conditioning the entire time. The supposed parts were unavailable. The place was stifling and at times we had to just leave. Once the door code was changed mid-stay locking us out of the unit. The murphy bed had twin sheets, no pillows for a queen size bed when our guests arrived at 10:00pm. The kitchen was chaotic. The cupboards were filled with unused appliances, a mish mash of useless equipment and there was no space to store food or supplies. We were there for 6 weeks and yet there was no housekeeping available and cleaning it was difficult with no supplies provided. Fans were sent in , but could not handle the extreme heat adequately. We never had contact or heard from the owner over these challenges. Needless to say, this hampered our time in Maui. We come every year and are familiar with routine services and this was not even close to the service, quality , and accommodations we have come to expect for this price and area.

We would definitely rent the condo again. Enjoyed the patio and view. Our only challenge was getting the sheets for the Murphy bed. The challenge was quickly taken care by the management team.

Very nicely updated. Beautiful setting. Easy to access with car parked right down the stairs. 2 items could be improved. The living room sofa is shallow, too firm and uncomfortable. There is a tree that needs trimming to improve the view. Otherwise A+!
