My recent stay at this condo was nothing short of magical! From the moment we entered, I was surprised by how spacious and comfortable the place was! Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and the Safeway is literally across the street so you can do a quick stockup and don't have to eat every meal out.
The condo was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and offered a spectacular view of the ocean and the pool below. To note for those with little ones - the beach at the property can have very rough surf. However, a 5 minute drive to Lydgate Park has sheltered coves with breakwaters where any age can snorkel safely.
The lazy river pool, waterfall grotto and slides were a family highlight. Overall, it was a fantastic experience - and we hope to be back again soon.

This place was fabulous! Way bigger than we needed, but it gave us the space to really spread out. They provided everything we would need for the stay... besides groceries, but that was right across the street. The pool was great and not too busy. Should have brought our kids!

We very much enjoyed our stay here! You can see the ocean and the pool from your lanai. The ocean view is a side view but just pull your chair to a good viewing angle and no worries!
The unit also has everything we needed, plus a nice living area where we sat and watched a film one night.
We liked leaving the doors open with screens in place to get the nice trade winds breezing through but the air conditioning was also powerful and more than adequate.

Waipouli Beach resort was a great stay for our family of 8. The condo had 2 master suites, with 2 large tubs, and a spacious kitchen. The pool area had barbecue grills, 2 slides, and 3 hot tubs. The resort had pool towel services, so we didn't have to worry about bringing our own. Communication with the property manager was very easy, and she got back to us very fast. Check in was a breeze, instructions was available a few days prior to our arrival, and it is a keyless pin pad, so we didn't have to wait in line to check in, like at other hotels. Washer and dryer were pretty large, and the condo came with a "starter" pack for detergent, toilet paper, and dish soap. Safeway was right across the street, about a 3 minute walk, and the property is conveniently located to restaurants and shops in town, about a 5 min drive. The beach waves were a bit too rough for the kids, but we were 5 mins from Lydgate beach park, which has a rock wall to shelter the beach from rough water conditions. The property was also a few minutes from Wailua river, which was great for kayaking. BEST FAMILY VACATION! We will definitely be coming back to Waipouli beach resort!

Our stay was amazing! Being located on the east side of the island allowed us to quickly and easily explore all parts of the island without too long of drives! We loved the pools and beach, had comfortable beds, great space for the 7 of us staying. We got fresh beach towels every day, had access to beach chairs and boogie boards. Everything was clean and our views were gorgeous we slept with windows open every night and listened to the sound of the waterfall right off the balcony! Thank you for an amazing stay!

We stayed for spring break with our three children ages 6,4 and 5 months. The condo was clean and well stocked. There were beach chairs, boogie boards and a pack n 'play along with usual amenities. We rented beach equipment and a portable condo crib from Nana's Baby and Beach Gear Rentals. She was great and worked with the property manager to have everything delivered and set up before we arrived and picked up after we checked out. The resort was well kept and quiet. Other guests were friendly and our kids made a lot of friends during our stay. It is worth noting that during our time there the pool side restraunt does not open until 3pm (looks like they are going to be lengthing their hours in the future to include breakfast/lunch, also could be seasonal hours), so plan on bringing your own or making other plans for food/drink by the pool. We had a great time and would recommend and stay again.

Other renters will want to know that although you are 2 buildings back from the shore, you are lucky enough to be able to see the ocean and waves and have a gorgeous view of the lazy river, flowers and koi pond. The lanai is tilted just enough that it protects you from the wind. We were there during a windy week with frequent showers and were never bothered by either. The property is immaculately maintained and the rental unit was as well. The beds were very comfortable. If the doors are left open you hear the waterfall outside and it is very comforting. Nice kitchen as well, which is important to me because I cook. the Safeway grocery store is across the street (bring your safeway card for savings) Some small things that would make this perfect: the knives are terribly dull, there is only one hot pad, broiler pan there but no rack for inside so it isn't useable and a hand held electric mixer would be nice. Loved, loved, loved our stay!!!

Condo was clean and well kept. Property was clean and nice to be on the beach with a great swimming/hot tub area. Location worked great between Princeville and Poipu. I highly recommend this property and all it has to offer. I am picky on my beds and would suggest that the king mattress be replaced, but all was great otherwise.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. It is very nicely appointed, had everything we needed in the kitchen, beach chairs, umbrella etc and was very clean. Management is very friendly and responsive. The restaurant on property is FABULOUS, but definitely get reservations in advance!

We enjoyed eight days at the luxurious condo and resort overlooking the amazing resort pool toward partial ocean views. Kitchen appliances were like those at home though the cookware and knives were a little campy. The central island location makes excursions anywhere on the island easy. Unlike many Kapaa properties, ingress and egress was a breeze even during high traffic times. Having a full-sized grocery store nearby allowed family members to plan meals spontaneously, get snacks or adult beverages, and (humorously, our only complaint) upgrade TP quality. The pool area was amazing. Our fellow guests were fun loving but quiet. We enjoyed the comfortable, supportive beds adequate even for one family member having a hip problem. This is one of the best vacation properties we have ever rented.

Our family of four enjoyed this clean, spacious property. It was centrally located on the island and the grocery store, restaurants, and shopping were within walking distance. The pool has fun, but we didn't swim in the ocean at the resort because the waves were intense. There was plenty to see and do on the island and this was a great place to "come home to" at the end of the day. The beach supplies provided were appreciated.

We (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed in C302 for a week and had a great time. The unit itself was in excellent condition and well stocked. The resort itself is one of the nicer ones on Kauai with a great pool area. The close proximity to shopping and food in Kapaa and Lihue is convenient as well. Overall a great experience with this stay and we'd absolutely stay here again when we return to Kauai!

My husband and I took our 77 and 78 year old mothers to Kauai and we chose this property mostly due to the fact that it has a little bit of everything. The beach was beautiful and the lazy river was so relaxing. Three sand bottom hot tubs and a really nice day spa. They also had 2 water slides and a sand bottom baby pool for the kids so there is something for everyone in the family here. We'll be back for sure!

This was our third trip to Kauai but first time staying on the east side of the island. We love ranging from the north end to the south (and everywhere in between) and thought a place in Kapa'a might work well for us. It certainly did!
The Waipouli Beach Resort location is terrific: right on the beach and in easy walking distance to many good (and a few exceptional) places to eat and drink. The gas grills in the common area are cleaned every morning by resort staff. The one we used was immaculate. The unit itself was great a value for 3 adults. It was well appointed and clean, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms.
We would definitely stay there again.
