Very nice 1 bedroom property with plenty of space; well furnished and well appointed; just as presented if not better. Great view and location. Very large lanai that was very enjoyable. Condo buildings are not well marked so a bit of trouble finding our building the first night in the dark. Key pad to enter the complex was also a bit difficult to locate in the dark. Once we were settled, had a great time.

I was very pleased with my stay. The condo was very clean, well appointed and is in a terrific location. Steps to the ocean and an easy walk to the beach club, the hotel and the shops. I did have an issue with the fridge when I arrived. Donna was very responsive and tried her best to resolve the problem. Fortunately it wasn't a big issue.
Only a couple of suggestions, have a binder with all the info needed from check-in to check-out as well as suggestions for people not familiar with the area. For anyone interested in cooking stock up on your basic items as what's in the condo is hit or miss, the counter space is limited but workable and the pots and pans a beginning to reach the end of their life.
All in all a great place and will definitely be back!!

We’ve stayed at a number of units in the Mauna Lani Terrace and chose to return to this one. It’s a short walk to the pool and grills and it’s one of the nearest units to the beach club(5 min walk). The unit is well furnished, the kitchen is well equipped and there are plentiful beach towels as well as beach equipment and toys

My recent stay at The Terrace in Mauna Lani was nothing short of spectacular. As frequent visitors to the Big Island with Ohana living in Hawaii, we've come to appreciate the Mauna Lani area, and The Terrace proved to be the ideal haven within this beautiful resort paradise.
The condo itself is a gem, boasting spaciousness, warmth, and impeccable provisions. It's abundantly clear that the hosts have gone the extra mile to ensure guests' comfort, as every detail from the furnishings to the amenities was thoughtfully curated. The sense of welcome envelops you as you step in, setting the tone for a truly relaxing vacation experience.
However, the crown jewel of this stay undoubtedly lies in the exclusive access to the beach club. The beach club has retained its charm and intimate atmosphere despite its growing popularity over the years. The allure of having your own private beach, complete with excellent swimming and snorkeling opportunities, is truly unparalleled. I was disheartened to find out that Uncle Gary's beach rental shack is no longer a part of the scene. (a story and rant for a different day).
I must commend Donna, our point of contact, for her exceptional communication throughout our stay. Her responsiveness and willingness to assist added an extra layer of convenience to the entire experience.
If you're reading this review while considering a stay at The Terrace, rest assured that you need not look any further.

This property is fantastic. The kitchen is well stocked, the water equipment eg snorkels greatly appreciated. 40 mins drive from Kona so it is well and truly far from the crowds. The beach is lovely and a pleasant stroll past fishponds. Access to restaurants at Mauna Lani and “The Shops” is great. The golf course was also beautifully presented and very enjoyable to play. (North) . Sitting on the Lani, enjoying the beautiful gardens and fishpond with ocean in the background so relaxing. Would love to return here

This property well exceeded our expectations. It was clean, well equipped, comfortable, and a perfect home away from home. Coffee on the lanai overlooking the lagoon and swaying palm trees was so relaxing. This place is so quiet and serene! The location is ideal with a beautiful pool, the fish lagoons, access to the beach club, and plenty of places to walk and wonder. Donna was amazingly helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Oh and the sunsets! ❤️As I said in the title LOOK NO FURTHER!

Having stayed at the former Mauna Lani hotel with our family over the years, we have admired the Terraces from afar for a long time. Now that it was just my wife and I, we tried the Terraces for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The unit was elegantly appointed, and provided a full 2nd bathroom to be used. Nothing was missing, and the owner Donna gave great detailed instructions on everything in the unit. The view from the huge terrace was great-partial ocean view over the lagoon. The pool and BBQ area were practically new, and provided all the amenities for swimming and sunbathing. and BBQing. We definitely will return.

The condo was absolutely lovely! Beautiful, upgraded furnishings and well-stocked kitchen. We felt like we were visiting a friend’s home. The view is even better than the pictures.
We spent most of time enjoying the large lanai. Check in was easy, and we even had a bottle of wine waiting for us! Thank you! Pool and access to the Beach Club were additional pluses. We walked to the snorkel beach and Auberge (less than 10 minutes away). We will be back.

My husband decided to cancel (Charlie) so myself and my long time school friend of 48 years met me in Kona. The condo is truly beautiful. View of the ocean from patio is gorgeous and calming. It had everything you could ever want. Beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling masks, fins, cooler, towels, every utensil to cook. Washer snd dryer were appreciated. 2 large bathrooms were great. On our second night we accidentally locked ourselves out of condo. I called Donna the property manager and she was so kind to set a key out on her porch that was 8 miles away for us to get into condo. I do wish there was a beach cart to carry stuff the beach resort next door. It’s a bit of a walk and lugging everything was tiring for 2 60 year old ladies. Took long walks by beach and mainly just relaxed. Beautiful area but around 39 miles to Kona. Overall a spectacular vacation.

Fabulous condo in the best location. The Terraces are within walking distance to the Beach Club and Napua. Short drive or walk to the Mauna Lani Shops. The condo itself is beautiful. Large lanai for hanging out after the beach. It’s stocked with everything you need, including beach chairs and cooler. Donna was great to work with!

We are a couple who booked this condo based on its location, amenities and decor. When we opened the door for the first time we just gasped with delight. The woodwork throughout, the overall design, layout and decor were elegant, tropical and soothing. The entire condo was spotless, there were plentiful towels, soap, beach items and a cooks kitchen. I actually enjoyed cooking and even doing the dishes. The lanai was a retreat daily to watch the fishpond below and the ocean afar. We named our favorite fish "Black".
The pool area was clean and quiet- the community bbq areas were great. I grilled an aged T-bone to perfection on the professional clean grill- while watching the ocean afar!
The grounds were a walkers paradise, with wandering paths filled with plumeria trees dropping flowers, other exotic trees, grass, lava paths, fishpods and a lush tropical feel. This was a quiet adult environment with a chic low key sophistication.
The nearby beach club had a nice sandy beach and lounge chairs.
This condo is just PERFECT for a couple .
........ and this couple will be back as soon as we can!

We had a wonderful time -- the property was very clean and comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. We went here for the last five days of our trip for R and R and it was exactly what we were hoping for. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing beach vacation. The pool area was also lovely.
The beach is a short walk away and I highly recommend walking the beach pathway at sunset every evening. My other advice would be to book dinner reservations far in advance, possibly when you book this property.

I don't even want to give the property the review it deserves for fear of it getting booked up!! This is the second time we stayed at this property and it the perfect space for a no-fuse vacation. It's quiet and peaceful and close to everything, including the beach. The kitchen is the best stocked, most functional kitchen I've seen in a rental. I feel as comfortable as in my own home. Donna is accessible to accommodating. Great overall experience for a quiet, hide away trip.

The property of The Terrace is unique and very lovely. However, the photo of the beach used in the property description is not the beach that you walk out to from the condo. The actual beach is much more "rustic" so I thought I was in the wrong place. After I got used to it, I liked it ok, but I think the photo was misleading and should not be used. Overall the stay was very pleasant - the condo was beautiful and it was exactly like the photos . I hope to return someday.

My husband and I enjoyed the condo as a hub for our many excursions while visiting the big island. Comfortable and clean, the condo provided a relaxing beginning and end to our days. All amenities and appliances are top notch and the owners have thought of EVERYTHING to provide a home away from home feel. The bed was beyond comfortable! Beach life was lonely since the hotel is closed for renovation, but we managed to beach in other places as well. Can’t wait to return!

Our stay at the Mauna Lani Terrace in June 2019 was wonderful. The unit was very clean, very well appointed, and wonderfully located. Donna was always prompt in responding to any questions we had and provided us all the information we needed for an easy arrival and 10-day stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My husband and I loved everything about the unit and the location. It was nice to spend time in the condo, it was a quick drive to food and shopping, and the beach club was so close that we walked there each time went. Thank you for everything Donna!!!

This is a beautifully furnished unit! The kitchen is well equipped and the lanai is the perfect spot to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. We’ve stayed in many other units in the Mauna Lani Terrace and this is our favorite.! It’s a great location on the fish ponds and just a short walk to the pool and the grill garden.

Mauna Lani - where u go when you need to unwind and unplug! Been coming here since I was little but was fortunate enough to spend a week here for honeymoon. Was up early to hit the sauna and walk the beautiful grounds - the accommodations were beyond comfortable - we wanted for nothing when it came to cooking in kitchen to the detergent pods already set up in the laundry room. If you are looking for your home away from home - this is it. A+ experience and wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again in future

This unit is very well equipped and easy to get comfortable in. The best for us, since we are not golfers, is the walking. We walked 2-5 miles every morning on beaches, around the ponds and golf courses. This was our first condo say in 15+ trips to Hawaii and we will come back again.

We were extremely happy with our stay at Mauna Lani Terrace Condos. The unit is nicely decorated, clean, updated & well stocked with every thing we needed. It was very quiet & relaxing with beautiful views of the fish ponds, lush gardens & a short interesting walk to the beach. The area is a perfect spot on the island & close to the hotel, shops & grocery store. We felt like it was a "little home away from home" & would love to return someday. We highly recommend a stay in this unit at the Terraces!

We have stayed at Mauna Lani many times in the past, renting different condos, but this time our expectations were exceeded! This condo has a beautifu view of the ocean, fish ponds and lush tropical gardens. It was spotless and decorated with many high-end Tommy Bahama furnishings. At the end of our 9 days, we wanted to take the king size bed home with us -- it was that comfortable! The condo was perfect for the 2 of us and we would love to book it again!

The place is absolutely wonderful. The apartment is spaces with a huge terrace and an amazing view. You can snorkel from the beach which is 3 minutes from the condo. Very quiet and relaxing area. We had great time being there.

The condo complex is beautifully maintained and ideally situated. The condo itself is fabulous! Big lanai, big kitchen, big living area, all beautifully appointed. The Beach Club beach may be the best secret on the Big Island.

The photos do not do this place justice! We even brought our two teenagers and didn't feel crowded. Couldn't believe how well-kept, clean and organized it was. The views from the lanai and bedroom are gorgeous. Very close to the hotel and beach club. Owner was always helpful and straight-forward. Highly recommend!

We couldn't have been happier with this condo. It is tastefully decorated and is exactly as pictured. We had a very peaceful vacation. The Mauna Lani Terrace is a hidden gem right between the hotel and the beach club.
We have stayed at several rental condos at the Mauna Lani resort and this is our favorite. We hope to return next year to this unit!

There is a management company onsite that manages many of the condos. Since many were rented for the time we wanted, we looked to VRBO. The prices are competitive, but there is more flexibility when renting from an owner. One of the best perks was being able to stay right through to our late night departure, essentially giving us another day at the beach.The condo is perfect for a couple. All the amenities are there and Donna made sure that the basic paper and soap supplies were all there also. Be sure to rent one that says it has been updated as I understand some are showing their age. I also like the second floor as you get the view but your deck is covered from any rain.
Since we had not stayed on this coast before, we took the time to scout around the other properties. There is such a different feel from one to the other. We liked the privacy, the fact you could really walk to the beach, and the quiet. Although it was spring break, we never had trouble finding a spot at the pool ( sometimes there alone) or at the beach club. There are not a lot of one bedroom units that have been updated, so this one is choice. The floor plan is very nice. The view is far nicer than the photos show. We ate every meal on the lanai.

When I told my boyfriend we should write a review of how fantastic this condo is, he didn't want to so we could "keep it our secret." Great location - easy drive to Kona, Waimea, and Hilo. Secluded enough to avoid the standard tourist tee shirt shops and crowds, yet close to great restaurants and a grocery store. Beach club was great with places to rent snorkel gear, paddle boards, etc, and grab a mango margarita or fish tacos. Easy walk to beach to catch the whales or the sea turtles. Condo was well stocked, clean, and updated. Quiet at night for peaceful evenings on veranda. Running paths galore. We don't golf but the course looked beautiful. What else can I say?? We loved it!
