Clean and functional condo with ample kitchen ware and condiments. Condo development was quiet, and has a nice pool and hot tub. Hidden Pizza Restaurant at pool site has good food.

The condo was really nice, clean, well equipped, gorgeous views, great path down to the beach, clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed the beach gear! When we stayed with temps in the 80s it was uncomfortable in the late afternoons and evenings, especially in the upstairs bedroom. We’d consider coming back during a cooler time! Mahalo!

This is a great place to stay when visiting North Kauai. The description of the apartment is correct and it was very comfortable and clean. We loved the closeness to Hideaway beach and the pool with hot tub too. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Mahalo!

This property was a perfect location on Kauai’s north shore. The unit was very spacious for our family of four with the balcony/patio being our favourite place to hang out with a lovely view of the ocean. This unit is close proximity to grocery stores and Hanalei, and a short walk to Hideaways Beach which was an amazing snorkel spot with many sea turtles! We were impressed with how cool the place kept with the ceiling fans and appreciated all of the extra standup fans. The kitchen was well-equipped for meal prep for just about anything and we also dined & had takeout from the restaurant on the property, Hideaways Pizza Pub, which was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time and staying at this condo was very convenient to everything we wanted to do. It was comfortable, the washing machine was very handy, and we had plenty of room for our two teenage boys upstairs bedroom. The view is beautiful, the grounds are very well kept and the condo is convenient for walking to great views of the sunset, and a couple of smaller beaches. The walks to the beaches are down steep hills. It wasn't an issue for us but know they aren't quick walks. We loved the location. The only negative for us was the ceiling fan in the master bedroom was broken/really loud when using. Other than that it was a great stay!

We loved this condo! We have stayed in Princeville 3 other times and by far this was our favorite. It was perfect for our family of five. The view of the ocean was amazing. We loved watching for whales each morning and evening. Sunsets were beautiful too. Snorkel gear was nice and Hideaways beach was the best for snorkeling. We took the cooler with us to some of the other beaches as well. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We had a great trip. Communication was great leading up to and during most of the trip, however I was overcharged and there was no communication once I messaged to address that despite several attempts at the end of and after the trip.

Perfect for family vacation! The views off the balcony were epic, saw whales the from the balcony while drinking our coffee. Definitely coming back to stay again!!

We really enjoyed our time here as a family. The condo was comfortable even without an air conditioner. We’d just keep the fans going.
Most of our time was spent at the pool or the beach. So we were quite thankful that there were beach items provided (chairs, snorkel gear, beach toys, a boogie board). We were often the only family at the pool, so it was easy to relax or play our family pool games.
We really enjoyed the pizza at the restaurant by the pool. It was delicious!
We had to make some changes to our trip due to flight cancellations, and the management was very accommodating and helpful with that.
We’re already looking forward to our next trip to Kauai!

Great. The only issue was the beach chairs were wet and moldy and sandy. I called the management company and they sent over new ones right away but the ones in the property need to be cleaned or removed.

It was wonderful to find beach equipment (snorkels, masks, towels, umbrella) all available to use and enjoy at the beach. The bedrooms at the cool back of the condo were breezy and comfortable for sleeping. The staff went the extra mile to help when I left the key in the condo and shut the door. When we were scheduling, the staff asked about flights and offered to extend accommodations for extra days.Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at #242! The townhouse was nicely furnished, clean, and peaceful. It was the perfect set-up for 4 adults. Large bedroom and bath on two separate floors. There were several highlights to the home: A gorgeous view off the lanai with 2 lounges and 2 chairs; the kitchen was VERY well outfitted with Keurig, lots of utensils and dishes, pans, towels, soap, icemaker. We especially appreciated the plush towels, beach towels, and high-end liquid soap in the kitchen and baths. We also enjoyed the sparkling community pool and hot jacuzzi (never crowded). Highly recommend taking the private Pali Ke Kua paved trail down to the cove. Check for low tide time, though, and enjoy the tidepools. The management company was very responsive before our trip and when I had a couple of questions while there. Since it wasn't an emergency, email worked just fine. Lovely grounds at Pali Ke Kua! One of our daily highlights was watching the birds on the grass below our lanai and around the property--many Nene, Hawaiian cardinals, egrets, and sandpipers, plus dozens more species perched in trees. Great walking areas around Princeville neighborhood!

Unfortunately the condition of the property fell way below expectations.Besides the living area furniture, the property is run down and in need of upgrades, especially the bathrooms. In fact, the master bedroom bathroom vanity cupboards are in poor repair with many of them badly chipped.None of the beds have adequate bedding - only a thin cover. We could not find any extra bedding except for pillows. Only 1 set of towels were provided in each bathroom.Many of the dishes smelled musty in the kitchen and had to be re-washed before using. I would also suggest updating the key entry options - like the neighbor next door. I hope this review serves as motivation to make the necessary upgrades. Princeville is a lovely location and worth visiting.

We loved our experience at Pali Ke Kua 242 with Makana Kauai Properties. Everything was just as described and our stay was great! We were given EXCELLENT customer service with a few questions we had at beginning of our stay, and the only problem we had is that our vacation wasn’t longer! Loved time on the lingers on the lanai in the mornings, and loved our outings in the afternoons. Comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen are hugely important to us and we were not disappointed. I’d highly recommend this to anyone!!
