The condo overall was fine. I had a problem with the bed being up against the window. There was no room to get into from that side and being an older person, it made it very difficult to get into bed every night. The bed was very comfortable just not easy to get in and out of for the second person.

All dining room chairs' legs need to be tightened and seats need to be affixed. Air conditioner does not cool well, we believe that the filters need to be cleaned, light switch in Master Bedroom works intermittent, dryer, (when initially turned on), makes a LOUD screeching noise.

The property was wonderful, you absolutely cannot beat that view! Check in was easy, and the condo was clean and spacious. Quick repsonses from the owner too. It was wonderful waking up every morning to Diamond Head, the Ocean, and Waikiki!! We had 6 adults in our party, and the rooms were all spacious. The sofa bed in the living area was more comfortable than any pull out sofa I have slept in. There was a nice welcome package, as well as beach chairs, a cooler, and boogie boards. We loved the walkability to Waikiki, the beach, and we frequented the food trucks often! Plenty of towels as well. To address prior reviews..if you are spending your time worrying about bubbling paint, or spots on the ceiling, you really need to refocus and look out those windows! Yes...parking is expensive, but that is disclosed in the listing, and not in the owners hands, we never had any issues finding a parking space. Yes, the window washers came by....but there were signs everywhere with dates they would be coming. If we had any constructive feedback,the condo could use some additional (and better quality) pots and pans, as well as some measuring/mixing bowls and trays, and better knives, and a vacuum, but we made due with what was there. One design flaw of the condo is there is no access to a bathroom from the living room, so the adults sleeping in the living area had to "sneak" into the bedroom to access the bathroom at night, but again, this is not in the owners hands, just an FYI.

We were extremely disappointed by the overall condition of the property. The bathrooms are in great disrepair with lots of mold, peeling paint and they smell very unpleasant. Throughout the rental the walls & ceiling are scuffed, scratched, and there is tons of bubbling paint from water damage throughout, with one huge bubble, right over the head of the master bed, which seems dangerous. Honestly, the only thing that seems true to the pictures are the living room and kitchen. The bedroom & bathroom pics. have to be from over a decade ago based on their current state. Also, this building is very old & in poor condition. They are currently doing repairs on the building and there were men on scaffolding, right outside my daughters’ bedroom window at the penthouse level, drilling and making a ton of noise, which required us to keep the curtains closed in that room most of the trip for privacy, which defeated the whole reason why we booked this place, the view. We noticed there was a sign by the elevators about the repairs that had been posted since November of 2022 and that should’ve been disclosed to us in advance so we had a choice about whether this was the right place for us to stay during this time. On the last day, they even turned off the water to the building to do a main drain repair so the toilets would not flush. I requested a large portion of my payment be returned for misrepresentation, but they only offered $500. I would never stay here again & wouldn't suggest it.

While the view, location and communication were great, the owner needs to add a few things.
Only one teaspoon, other spoons were too large for eating with.

Microwave was missing a foot so wobbled.
Knives were not sharp.
Sofa was very uncomfortable. You could feel the frame when you sat down.
Addition “sofa” was really a large footstool that felt very unstable as legs were wobbly.
Nothing available to use for left overs (plastic step or plastic containers etc).
No oven mitts.
Two of the three beach chairs need to be replaced as they were ripping.
The one bedroom ceiling showed signs of a previous leak and was soft to touch.
With a bit of money spent this could be a perfect rental.

Wow! What a great week we had in Oahu! Thank you for the penthouse upgrade. Having a corner unit meant every room had a great view of Waikiki and Diamond Head. We were within walking distance of the beach, many restaurants, parks, and shopping. Getting to Diamond Head for a hike was a short drive, and North Shore was just around an hour away. The weather was gorgeous. The elevators were slower getting to our floor —- but getting to the penthouse made it worth it! Thanks again!

Arrival and entry was easy and there was a nice little gift basket welcoming us.
The unit is bigger than it looks in the pictures. There is a nice big entryway to store shoes, place suitcases etc. The open concept helped us all feel connected.
The view was beautiful from every window especially watching fireworks over Waikiki. It has a full kitchen with dishes and utensils for at least 6 people, along with a few pots and pans. The in unit washer and dryer worked out well.
The manager was helpful when we had a problem with the air conditioner.
There is an outdoor pool on the roof of the 6th floor and 2 hot tubs (one was working.) There are chairs near the pool and gas grills and picnic tables. Not a nice view, but lots of people from other hotels can see you.
You can walk to the water 10-15 minutes. We used Uber often.
This is a penthouse in an older hotel. We did a bit of praying on the elevators because they made noises and sometimes stopped on wrong floors. At one time there was only one working elevator and waiting times were longer.
All in all, for what was available in our price range this worked out well for my family. 😊

The view is just as gorgeous as the pictures! The place itself was perfect for the 5 of us. It's close enough to walk almost everywhere but far enough away from the main tourist hustle and bustle. Communication with Rick was quick and efficient!
The only thing I recommend is if you are a light sleeper to stay in the room with the one bed. The one with 2 beds (has the better view in my opinion!) is right by the elevator, you can hear it going up and down at night. That's the only noise though. Ear plugs easily blocked out the noise.

Great location, and beautiful view. The location is excellent, close to the airport and walking distance from the beach and shops. We did rented a car, which we highly recommend to be able to travel to more local areas. The pool and the jacuzzi were great after enjoying time at the nearby beach/shops/restaurants. We will definitely recommend it!

Check in process was a disaster as the keys were in the wrong lock box when we arrived. Furniture was falling apart. Drain in bathroom did not work. Cannot recommend this property even a little, definitely a disappointment!

Everything was wonderful, everything we wanted to do was in walking distance including the shuttles for our tours. Only thing to complain about, and it's minor, the couch was not comfortable to set on. But again everything else was great. I would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for a girls trip and it was perfect for our group of 4. It was easy to walk to restaurants and shopping in Waikiki and central to the places we visited in Oahu.
Parking was $35/day and cash only, so bring the cash with you!
The coffee shop in the facility was amazing and their malasades (dare I say it) were better than the famous ones down the street.
We had one issue with a toilet that wasn't working while there and they were very responsive. It was fixed before we came back from our activities.
I would definitely recommend this location.

I'll start with the good: the property is in a location. Walking distance (10 mins) to the beach, Waikiki, and even a few things across the bridge. Driving around is also quite accessible (though parking is challenging or expensive). The space is very nice. Big living room, dining room, and kitchen. There's a bathroom in both bedrooms too. And the best part of the corner suite is the amazing, panoramic, sweeping views, all the way from the mountains, through diamond Head, the shopping area, hotels, to the water. Truly beautiful!!
All of these things almost made up for the not so good parts.
The biggest problem we had was with the storm. To be fair, it seemed to have been an unusually large storm, but the experience was poor regardless. All of the windows were leaking through and started to food the rooms. The ceiling was dripping water as well. If we had gotten back later the first day of the storm, we probably would not have stayed. We had to keep putting dry towels under the windows, put pots on the ground to catch the water, and eventually building security brought in a dehumidifier. That thing was super loud. I would not recommend staying here during the rainy season.
Everything else was a bit minor, but also seemed cheap, considering the price. Little details like the shower head being a bit calcified, or the paint chipping off the ceiling in the bathrooms, or the broken floorboards in the bedroom and dining room. The air conditioning intake was also making a loud raspberry sound while it was on which we managed to address while we were there. The new sofa in the living room feels cheap and you can feel the thin aluminum structure if you sit near the corners or edges (read "on the couch"). The kitchen equipment is subpar as well. Not ma many pots or pans. Thin, floppy plastic cutting boards, and very dull knives.
For anyone curious about parking, the most convenient option is also the most expensive. For $40 per day, or $35 if you buy a multi day pass (as of December 2021), you can park in the attached parking structure. If you are willing to spend a significant amount of time looking for free parking, it does exist along Ala Wai boulevard. But space is limited and it's difficult to get a spot.
Despite all of these issues, I still think it's a reasonable place to stay. As long as you don't go during rainy season, and you can put up with some minor issues, the views and location are worth coming home to.

Wow. What can I say but this was an exceptional property! The views are incredible and the home was so comfortable. Upon reading other reviews about the kitchen furniture, I was surprised to arrive and see brand new furniture had been purchased! Everything was so nice and comfortable and beautiful! Conveniently located for shopping, dining and beach! The management team is so friendly and everything about the stay was perfect! We had everything we needed to be comfortable traveling with small children. We will definitely be back! Thank you for making incredible memories for us!

The pictures of the views from this apartment are no lie! They are simply outstanding. The only negatives we had were that the floors were so dirty it turned our feet black, the toilet in the "master bath" ran almost constantly b/c the float needed fixing and a kitchen chair was broken. Miki quickly provided me with a wet swiffer and the floor issue was a snap to fix. The toilet was merely an annoyance and the chair was not an issue as there were only 4 of us and there were other chairs in a closet that we used. The location could hardly be beat! 15 min walk from just about anything you wanted on Waikiki beach. Food pantry is close by with just about anything you need with regards to groceries. Maleko coffee and pastries was really good as well as the Cream Pot (a little pricy) and the Burger and Sushi place. We did not sample the pizza but I bet it was good too! Security will hold your bags for the day for just $10 cash (must be exact amount) which was a life saver for us as we didn't fly out until 7pm. Miki was great and super responsive and I think that if we had any other issues she would've gladly helped us out. All in all, an excellent place to stay!

Pros: Views are beautiful and it's a nice size unit for a family. Location is about 10-15 minutes to the beach next to the Hawaiian Village or about a 10 minute walk to the main strip of Waikiki with the designer stores and restaurants. There's a 7/11 or an ABC store within a 5 minute walk of the building. We rented a car a couple days and it was nice to be able to pay for parking below. Unit is roomy and the 5 of us were able to spread out well. Kitchen is nice as shown in listing although I think it should be stocked better for baking (cookie sheet and oven mitts). It was really nice having the washer dryer in the unit. There is a lot of closet space and dressers to store clothes. Elevators worked fine when we were there.
Cons: The unit itself had good beds for 4 people but my oldest son slept on the pullout couch. You can feel all the springs in the mattress and it also had a very noticeable decline of about 15 degrees. Until that sofa bed is replaced, I don't think this unit should be listed as being able to accommodate more than 4 people. The dining room table is old. One of the arms on a chair is broken. It is taped back on but still pops out of place. Another chair has a broken rod that goes across the bottom (although it didn't seem to affect it's functionality). And the chairs were uncomfortable to sit on. It is an older building and the air unit can be louder than what you are used to.
