We've been coming to The Sealodge condos for decades. They never fail to disappoint. In the perfect location, you don't even need to leave your bed to see the morning sunrise over the lighthouse and ocean. Spectacular beaches on the North Shore...never a crowd, sometimes there were only 5 other couples on the whole beach. We don't even bother going to the South side of the island because the North side is by far more beautiful. G8 was well appointed with linens, towels and kitchen supplies. Endless channels on the tv. Even had beach towels, chairs and umbrella! Loved it!!!

We came back a second year in a row because the location is so spectacular. Sometimes being in your “room” on vacation can feel like lost time, but every moment here is sea breeze and ocean/reef view. This unit is comfortable and has good usable spaces. Management is great too.

Great views from the condo with good winds to keep it cool. About a 15 minute drive down to hanalei and further to the north beaches which I really enjoyed! Sea lodge beach is a nice hike down, but not super swimable.

We rented a Sealodge unit five or so years ago, and returned for a second time this February. A quaint, somewhat funky, complex that is a perfect basecamp for visits to Hanalei and Anini Beach. The pool wasn't working, but not a deal-breaker for us. (Might be for a family.) The unit itself was just fine for the two of us.

The location and views are fabulous. Property management was very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of extra towels and bedding. They had all you need for beach days. Washer and dryer was very convenient( had to buy laundry detergent)The Wi-Fi was troublesome but they gave instructions for any issues. We absolutely loved this rental and when we return, we will stay here again. Thank you for your part in our wonderful vacation.

We were in SeaLodge G8. The views were SPECTACULAR, as was the location- that's worth the price. However, we had to contact the property manager MULTIPLE times and were then denied a requested late check-out, as the "owner" was coming next (we were told by a reliable source that the "owner" owned MANY properties, so I'm not sure I buy this idea, but oh well). What was an issue? An outdated, in need of repair dishwasher that had a door repaired while we were there; a broken dryer, "made good" with two rolls of quarters (thank you) to use at the properties' laundry facility (I haven't used a pay machine since college); no A/C (got used to it, and the sea breezes are incredible, but just note to self); possible termites; broken screens on two windows. So, did they address our concerns? To the best of their ability, yes. We did get quarters, and there were attempts to fix the screens and dishwasher door. But keep in mind your calls to Kauai Kahuna are going to TEXAS (!!!), and that the company has two on-island maintenance people trying to meet the needs of many. The location, community, and views are MAGNIFICENT, and the island vibes are real. But some real time needs to be spent updating some of the facilities, and with traffic returning after the pandemic, there is a lot of stress on that system. As a home base for the exploration of the island, it works. Just be prepared to spend some vacation time trying to get things to be made right. It was unexpected, and, kinda like watching a movie where an actor breaks the fourth wall, ended the "suspension of disbelief," if the analogy works. My family and I were on vacation, not expecting the trappings of day-to-day homeownership or rentals.

Overall very enjoyable stay. Condo is small but certainly was large enough for a family of four. Location is spectacular overlooking the ocean perched on a bluff in beautiful Princeville. Path to secluded beach with excellent snorkeling. Well equipped with snorkel gear (including two sets of fins) boogie boards beach chairs and an abundance of beach toys. Interior is modest but clean and comfortable. But then again who needs ultra fancy interior with the ocean views so dominant? Only word of caution is the add-on assortment of fees and taxes not reflected on the advertised nightly rate and not prorated to length of stay, will double the true cost of staying there if one plans for only two or three nights. Would return again for longer stay.

The views are stunning, and that’s what I came for. I could sit and drink that sea breeze all day. The unit itself is fine. Some minor problems, which seem to remain unfixed for years despite other reviewers mentioning them (e.g., TV volume can’t be changed—TVs are cheap!, dishwasher can’t open all the way). Management is very responsive, though. Very happy with our stay.

This is our second time staying in this complex, and this condo has even better views than the first we had, right out to the ocean through every window. Every piece of furniture and the beds are incredibly comfortable and invite group lounging. We loved every minute inside this condo as well as the time we spent outside. The place had a few quirks: First, the door of the dishwasher didn't open all the way, so to access the lower tray you had to kind of jimmy it up and out, amid rattling (and, of course, dirty) dishes -- a fix wasn't available (island life!), but the rental company was responsive and sympathetic and offered suggestions. Second, the TV volume was fixed on a low setting. We put on the captions to help, but with one dyslexic adult and one 5-year-old who can't read yet, it was just not pleasant to watch movies (and yet we powered through!). A couple other things were that the wind blew off a screen (not their fault, I think), the upstairs shower had low pressure (not enough to rinse hair -- but the downstairs one was great!), and the toilet paper holder was not affixed to the wall. Nonetheless! Other than these minor inconveniences, you really can't beat this place for LOCATION, comfort, price, quietude, thoroughness of instructions, ease of check-in and check-out, and the delicious pool. We will be back!

Cutest condo with amazing views and everything you need for a good price. The views postwd really do not do it justice. Views from every room and both bedrooms. It was very quiet and 10 min drive to hanalei bay. We really enjoyed our stay. You do need new frying pans though. They are horrible.

Our family of 4 enjoyed 4 lovely days at this perfect unit. Amazing location close to all the north shore beaches and Haena park. Everything a family of 4 could need. We loved hanging on the grass and watching the wild chickens roam, sipping coffee while watching the sunrise. Upstairs bedroom was perfect for our daughters. Little slice of Heaven on the cliffs. Mahalo!

beautiful views, good location, not walking distance to anything. The issue is this isn't a 2 bedroom. What is called the 2nd bedroom is a loft on the second floor without doors, directly above the kitchen. There is no privacy for this room. The other bedroom, doesn't have walls either, rather a sliding plastic door. This room does not have a queen bed either, as listed - It's a full. It would be more accurate to describe this as a studio loft.
We also received numerous emails about documents, contracts, rules - The "check-in" document alone was 20 pages long.
Again, great views, easy location - however, very small space and misleading description of apartment.

The property manager was great - everything was as advertised, the check in and check out were smooth, and the manager called to check in, which was a really nice touch.The views were phenomenal - simply outstanding!The unit and complex were a bit dated, but given the great price I can't really complain. Would suggest updating the wood-grain slider to the bedroom, and a curtain/blind over the front door jalousie windows to block out the bright neighbors' outdoor lights. But again, a great deal overall and would recommend if someone is looking for this level of accommodation in a truly beautiful location.

The Sea Lodge G8 is in a wonderful location with spectacular ocean views from the living room and both bedrooms. We loved waking up every morning to a the sun rising over the water and going to sleep hearing the ocean waves and feeling the trade wind breeze. The unit was clean and well furnished with comfortable beds. The kids enjoyed being upstairs in the loft area. The kitchen was well-stocked, though the faucet was a little loose and lacked pressure. We also really appreciated the beach and snorkeling gear. (Though two of the boogie boards were broken and there wasn’t an umbrella, so we ended up going to several stores to find one.) The condo grounds are beautiful and the it’s well situated. We hiked down to the beautiful Sea Lodge Beach. Queen’s Bath and Hideaway Beach are also nearby and stunning. The road to Hanalei is under construction and only open during certain times of the day, so it’s important to plan ahead. Overall, we thought it was an excellent value and would recommend it.

We usually rent a 1 bedroom condo, but were happy to have the extra space available for visiting grandkids. As always, it was great to hear the surf 24/7 and enjoy the great views.The master bedroom is pretty snug for the queen bed and we kept hitting for shins on the pretty, but in the way wooden bed frame.

The views from this unit are breath taking, post card stuff. While the units were dated the weather and the views made up for it. Perfect stay over the weekend. The location is awesome, near the local Restaurants, grocery stores and shops.
We were having a marvelous time then came the grounds personel....... . The Maintenace crews are constantly on the grounds, either with construction or doing work so lots of noise during the weekdays. While it says don’t feed the chickens in the manual (we didn’t see it and there are no signs) we ran into a problem with one of the maintenace personnel who took it upon himself to rudely enforce the chicken rules. He actually was yelling at my wife and I about these chickens which are everywhere.
Great place to stay, management was easy to communicate with and made sure we checked in ok. The views....amazing. Grounds crew, not so much.
