We really loved our stay at Hale Maile. A very well appointed interior space with everything you could need. The bikes were great for getting in to town (Hanalei Bay) or to the beach. Hanalei is a spectacular place on earth.

This rental was perfect for our family, we could ride bikes to the nearest shops/store, also the beach was in walking distance which made it perfect for our children to go surfing. Overall the house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay!! I will definitely use this rental in the future!!

The house is in a great little neighborhood and walkable to Hanalei Bay. Having the bikes, beach chairs and snorkel equipment made our stay more effortless. We will definitely stay at Hale Maile again!

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Hale Maile vacation rental. This property is so close to downtown Hanalei. It felt private. It had everything we needed. It was clean. The customer service was amazing and very responsive. We couldn't have asked for any place better. Loved the beds and the veranda and of course the laundry facilities. What a treat at the end of a long trip!

The house beautiful with all the amenities you need!
The walk to the beach with all the beach gear is unbeatable. Also so close to town!
The house itself so pretty and sitting on the balcony with our coffee as it rained was pure bliss.
No a/c that we noticed but that didn’t matter to us and fans in every room.
The second bedroom you access from the balcony, not the main house. Also not a problem for us but for someone with tiny kids ..
We would absolutely stay here again and missed it when we went to our next spot!

This is a great property. It’s walking distance to town and just a block from the beach. It is well appointed and very bright with lots of windows. The wraparound porch may have been our favorite part. We love Hanalei and would definitely stay here again on a future trip.

We loved this adorable home! It is very comfortable for a family of 4. It was very well taken care of … kudos to the management team! Was nicely decorated and the beach equipment was great! Chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, body boards, stroller, wagon, 3 bikes and I even might be forgetting a few other items.
The veranda was like an outdoor living room. It was a highlight for our family. Loved the furniture.
It’s a quick and easy walk to the beach too.
It felt like we were at a sweet, welcoming cottage and we loved it.
Mahalo! Look forward to coming back.

My overall review of this lovely home is very positive. Perfect layout for two couples.
Although, it’s not shown in the photos of the home, the second bedroom is only accessible off of the covered deck/patio.
Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.
The laundry room is only accessible through the second bedroom’s bathroom. This is somewhat inconvenient. The home feels fresh & airy and newly built. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals. The outdoor barbecue on the covered deck was a great feature. The wrap around covered porch was my favorite part of the home.. beautiful tropical views and furnished with lounge chairs, table & chairs for enjoying meals.
The beds were comfortable. We did have issues with the hot water running out, while taking showers. The water pressure was very good, which is always a big positive.
Be aware that there are neighborhood dogs that barked incessantly, so if you are a light sleeper, you should consider earplugs.
The location of the home is a short walk to Hanalei bay beach.. just a few minutes.
This is a gorgeous beach.. you can also drive there, and park in the parking lot, which is right at the beach. There are bikes stored at the home, which is great for cruising into the town of Hanalei. Also plenty of beach gear is stored at the home.. boogie boards.. beach chairs.. nice beach towels.

My husband and I loved staying at this property for our baby moon. The location was excellent - quick walk to beach and town. The house was very clean and cozy with beautiful view of the mountains from large patio. We definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!

This was perfect for our family of 5. The home was clean and fully stocked. It was bright and airy, which we loved. The second bedroom is separate from the main living area. You have to access it from the patio. Which wasn’t a big deal to us, I just slept with my son in that room and my husband slept in the queen with the two girls on the pullout couch in the main living area. But just so you are aware. This rental is in the absolute perfect location. 3 min walk to Pine Trees ( beautiful beach ). Will definitely be back to make more memories

Everything about this house was terrific, from the thorough information provided before our arrival, very prompt reply to a question we had during our stay, a beautifully decorated and appointed home, and super easy checkout. The home was just as pictured, and had more than everything we needed for our week long stay. It was extremely clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. The layout is best for families with kiddos not too young, as the second bedroom has a separate entrance (off the lanai, with a locking door). Hanalei was an awesome location from which to explore the north shore, and it's an easy day trip to the south shore. Hanalei is a great little town, with a surprising array of great food given it's small size. We loved Hanalei Bread Co. for breakfast and lunch, and The Dolphin and Ama were amazing for dinner.

Very noisy, dogs barking, gravel crunching on road, main road noise, and constant construction noise. Also, NO PHONE NUMBER TO REACH ANYONE AND NO RESPONSE FROM MANAGEMENT COMPANY, other than a very late email response. We accidently left a bag on a Sat. departure and NO ONE bothered to get back with us after repeated emails and attempts to contact through AIRB&B. They need a local reachable contact person. What if something bad happened or broke or leaked, etc.?

This is a well-maintained house with a great location - near a quiet beach, plenty of restaurants (including outdoor seating, which is COVID-helpful), and shopping. Walkable to both the beach and the "downtown" strip, with a great breakfast option that opens at 7 a.m. local time (critical for anybody with jetlag). Lots of beach chairs, toys, bikes, etc. available for your use, as well as a convenient washer/dryer and clothesline for beachwear, etc.
The management company responded quickly and thoroughly to my questions about the property and the area, in general.
I'd add that this is likely one of the few houses available in the "downtown Hanalei" area - houses that are further west aren't nearly as well-situated to access things via walking, and I didn't see many/any houses east of the "downtown" stretch. Great location!

My husband and I stayed at this lovely place and absolutely loved it! Decorated so exquisitely with such a calm feel. We especially loved the covered wrap around porch and enjoyed keeping the doors open with screens at night listening to the beautiful sounds of many birds and hearing the pouring rain. This place is one of our favorites’ and we hope to come back one day.

This was the best rental unit I’ve ever stayed in. It was located in a perfect spot near the beach and included everything you could need or want. We were so happy to have a washer and dryer as well as a cooler and beach chairs. The water pressure in the showers was also very strong and appreciated after hiking or beach days. Walk to everything - Hanalei Bay and town - from this super-clean, well kitted out home. Beds are very comfy, the lanai is wonderful and well protected from rain, the kitchen has everything you need to cook at home. Lovely island decor. Great wifi hook-up too. Beach toys available and cruiser bikes too. Perfect.

The house is immaculate. Everything you need for adventure, beach holiday. Perfect location to walk to beach or town. All beach supplies provided, beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, snorkel gear, etc… even a beach wagon trolley and a surfboard. Three bike are also on site as well as bocci ball. We used everything! The house is clean and charming. All kitchen cooking supplies. New outdoor gas bbq, great outdoor wraparound deck. New screens on all windows and doors. Great breeze. Amazing towels, linens, and bedding. Absolute dream property and dream rental agency, responsive to every need. Mahalo

Hale Maile is a beautiful, clean and well maintained home and everyone in our family loved our stay there. This place is just a 2 minute walk from the beach. Great for couples as each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and the second bedroom has it's own private entrance. we loved this property and can't wait to come back!

Very cute and exactly like the pictures. It felt homey and had a well-stocked kitchen, which we used frequently. Our struggles were largely with the lack of a/c. I did not check the listing to see that they didn’t have air conditioning. We arrived late in the evening and the weather was very warm. When we arrived the house was very hot and we struggled to get to sleep. I tried calling the property management company and only got a voice recording saying they were closed for the weekend. The neighborhood has lots of chickens and dogs which also impacted our sleep throughout the week with the open windows. Views beyond the yard are limited. It was a great location and we enjoyed our stay but I wish it had air conditioning.
