Big Island is such a wonderful place to spend with your friends and family, children and grandchildren. Vacations create such delightful memories; our hope is this trip will be one of your fondest family memories and that you'll return year after year.
This 4 bedroom home is fully furnished with two (2) Master Suites, each with a private ensuite, and King size bed. The third bedroom is furnished with two (2) Queen beds, and the 4th bedroom is has two TwinXL beds (can be combined as King with gel topper).
The airy open concept main floor includes kitchen, dining area, great room, and large lanai with outdoor kitchen. The dining room table will comfortably accommodate 8 people plus another 6 at the lanai outdoor table, or 3 at the expansive kitchen island. The large unbelievably comfortable sectional in the great room is perfect for relaxing after a long day of fun in the sun! The great room is perfect for relaxing, playing games, listening to music on the sound-bar, watch the game, or relax with a movie.
The main floor lanai, equipped with BBQ and outdoor dining area (seating for 6) is a perfect place to enjoy throughout the day. Enjoy views of the Mauna Lani golf course and distant Kohala mountain from the lanai. Each lanai is tastefully furnished for your comfort and enjoyment. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary, a new job, retirement, or simply celebrating the sunshine, our home is sure to create a great experience.

We love building really big sand castles. Kohala sand is exceptional for this and we have the tools for kids and adults alike. For your day at the beach, you'll find:

• Large collection of snorkel gear in multiple sizes so you can share the wonders of the ocean
• Boogie boards to enjoy playing in the waves
• Life jackets, swim belts for the younger ones
• Large wheeled cooler and Tupperware containers for your beach picnic
Enjoy our collection of bikes (adult, youth and kids with helmets and locks) allowing you to explore the Mauna Lani resort. They are great for going to the Private Beach Club, exploring the Black Sand Beach, historical grounds, Fairmont resort hotel or the many other wonderful places that Mauna Lani has to offer. Ask us about deals on a GEM Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (Golf cart) rental for even more family fun.

Having traveled with our kids when they were young we know how difficult it is to lug all the baby equipment. Our goal is to make your life easier so we have equipped our vacation home with:

Things to do
Staying in KaMilo gives you full access to its Recreation Center with fitness equipment and multiple hot tubs and lap pool, freeform pool and kiddie pool.
You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant just two miles away. Excellent snorkeling in calm waters!
A short drive away are the six of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea beach.
The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven challenging courses all within seven miles of our villa.
Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings.

This is a beautiful property in a great location. The home was clean and well appointed. We loved the pool and recreation area as an added bonus. The only problem we had is that the thermostats are locked at 72 degrees which can be too warm for sleeping.

My impression of the property is that it is a clean, nicely furnished townhome. They have everything you will need to cook meals. It worked well, we had 8 people there for 7 days. We used the townhome for 9 days.
The properties are very close together, and if outside on balcony, you can hear and see neighbors. I mention,that because I did not realize that from the pictures. That being said, the location is close to stores, restaurants and access to a great beach. We used the pool area a number of times and it was sufficient. I would give the pool area a 7/10. It needs some TLC. But I did see some guys measuring the cement and circumference. So it looks like, the pool is going to get an update. I would recommend the townhome to those looking for a nice vaction spot.

The house was everything and more that was shown in the description on-line. The bedrooms were all spacious and very comfortable. The living area was large and once we realized after two days that the sliding doors to the patio fully opened and slid into the wall the open area of the living room and covered patio made the house seem even larger. We had perfect weather, so having it all fully open just enhanced our stay. The community pool, spa and fitness area were all used by our group and everyone was happy with the facilities. We would stay there again if we go back. The kitchen was large and we cooked several meals at the house. A great house and great stay.

Hawaii Roma was more than what we had imagined. Our family of 10 enjoyed every minute that we were there. The children visited the petroglyph park; swam in the pool everyday. The adults golfed at Mauna Lani North and South and Hapuna. The fitness center afforded some of us the luxury to continue our exercise regimen away from home. The bicycles got full use from both adults and children. A lot of fun and relaxing, too. This is certainly a place we would recommend for families. Mahalo!
