Love this condo and have returned a few times. Perfect location and our favorite beach! My only criticism would be it needs some carpet cleaning or replacement and upholstery cleaning. Will definitely be back and hope those items improve!

While the view, location, and remodeled kitchen and bathrooms are amazing there are some things that could really put this rental over the top. The 20+ year old heavily stained carpet in the unit needs to be replaced and there should be some sort of security on premise to enforce quit hours. Construction was also going on in another unit which was pretty loud. For this specific unit you can hear people going up and down the stairs and next to you in the evening. The view from the balcony is amazing though so you do pay for that premiums location. Overall the entire building as well is a bit outdated and musty and could use a a facelift.

The accommodations and location were amazing! We had most of our meals at the condo and the kitchen and supplies were very thoughtful. Condo was an excellent choice and we appreciate the cleanliness, attention to detail and of course that view!

We just returned from a week long stay at this property and had an amazing time. I was initially hesitant to book it because it had no reviews at the time, but I am so glad I did as it exceeded our expectations. We have stayed at this beach at a neighboring property before, but remembered seeing the Hale Hui Kai and wanted to try it out. First off, the condo seemed newly renovated, was immaculately clean, had a great layout and the most beautiful ocean view. The kitchen is super functional and fully stocked with everything you need. We have a 9 year old daughter so loved having the 2nd bedroom and 2 baths. We enjoyed hanging out on the lanai and at night could see all of the stars clearly. The property is very well-kept and easy to just walk right out to the beach with no shoes or keys since the condo has a keypad for entry. Keawapaku Beach is our favorite beach on the island. It's not overly touristy with no big resorts and has the softest sand you've ever felt. The snorkeling is pretty good off to the right, although it tends to get windy in the afternoons so morning is best. Waves are range from flat in the mornings to decent bodyboarding as the day goes on. We spent every evening watching magical Maui sunsets from the grassy area on the lounge chairs listening to Hawaiian tunes and drinking wine while our daughter ran around chasing lizards. We literally cried the day we left. Will definitely come back.

This was our first trip to Hawaii. A friend recommended this complex for our stay. The location in the beach was wonderful. We were only a few short minutes from town. This condo was stunning and looks like it was recently renovated. We all had a great time and cannot wait to go back

We had a wonderful stay in condo 310. The view and lanai were wonderful. We especially loved hearing the ocean at night. Being in South Kihei is a wonderful spot. Close enough to grocery stores and the highway and also next to Wailea. It was a lovely vacation!

Excellent Location. Great View. Right on the beach. Condo was nicely remodeled. Perfect balance of comfort, convivence, and living in paradise. We have stayed several time in adjacent condos, this is by far one of the best.

Hale Hui Kai is the best property in Maui. We have stayed in 212 a few times but fell in love with 310. This will be our go to unit. I’ve been to Maui over 20 times and this was by far the best condo. Amazing location, right on the beach, super clean, and incredible view. We can’t wait to stay in this unit again soon.

We been coming to HHK at least once a year for over 25 years and will keep coming back! It's a simple, easy vacay. We enjoy hearing the waves while we sleep and long walks down the near vacant, beast beach in Maui. We snorkel and visit with the turtles just steps from the property before eating a glorious sunset each evening. The units are mostly updated and very comfortable. The staff take pride in their work and are very courteous. You can walk 50 yards to the 5 Palms for a burger or cocktail what's not to like?

Beautiful, newly renovated condo with AC "oasis" in the bedrooms.Enjoyed the view and sounds of the ocean.We watched gorgeous sunsets from the balcony.Lovely carpeting and blinds add to the warm atmosphere.Lots of amenities.Actual sharp knives in the well-stocked kitchen!(How about instructions for the state-of-the-art showers and dishwasher?)Hale Hui Kai:This is our 4th stay at this very well-maintained property with a perfect location and friendly staff. (I hope there are plans for a banister on the steps leading from the property to the ocean. I have balance issues, and a banister would not just benefit me, but many of the people that use these somewhat uneven steps.)We'll be back!

We loved this condo! The view was amazing!!! The furniture and beds were comfortable and everything was clean and well stocked. If you don’t mind the heat, this is the condo for you. It gets SO hot in the afternoon as the air conditioner is only in the bedrooms and doesn’t work unless the bedroom doors are closed. The afternoon sun shines right into the main living area everyday and heats it up. We got use to it after a few days. Also, the master bathroom is not private at all. And there is a door in the master that opens to the front door of the condo behind this unit so you can hear everything in the hallway. It worked ok for us, but not for some. Overall, 5 stars! The view and location can’t be beat!
