We loved this spacious beach house. Short walk to the beach to snorkel, watch Green sea turtles and Monk seals. The perfect vacation spot for our family of seven. The house had everything we needed to enjoy the beach. Loved our stay. And the host was quick to reply! Thanks Steve!

This house was perfect for us, plenty of room and parking for our whole party of 6 and two cars. It has easy access to the beach with lots of swimming, snorkeling, and boogie boarding opportunities. There is a nice big lanai on the upper level that is perfect for sitting and watching the ocean. My 101 year old father was with us and he spent hours out on the lanai! There are, by my father's count (lol) 13 steps to go up to the second floor. He was able to manage that but it is something to keep in mind if steps are a challenge. There is living area downstairs as well, but the kitchen and dining area are upstairs. Steve, the owner, was very assessable and responds almost immediately to emails and text messages if you have questions during your stay. I definitely 10/10 recommend this property!

The property is well-taken care of. Great location. Right across quiet street from Brennecke beach. We could see the turtles and monk seals every day. Views from the house are beautiful. This house is right in the best spot… a few doors down literally around the corner is a Surf shop next-door to it is puka dog, which gets a long line around it. Upstairs from that puka dog is a deli and another restaurant ,and then you’re only about 2 miles from a gazillion other restaurants, and they are fantastic.
Walk 100 steps you’re on the beach every night turtles and seals. Come up to rest on the beach to the right. There’s kind of two of them the night we left they had 19 turtles on the beach. It was awesome the left side beach is where are you going to do boogie boarding bidy surfing with the turtles even some manta Ray’s joined the fun and could be seen in the waves.
We had a few issues that we chose not to resolve with Steve because we were able to take care of it ourselves. The cable wasn’t working we ended up just using airplay or Casting to the televisions from our phones so we were able to watch TV we did call Steve he immediately responded to us, but we needed to respond back to him. We did not follow up after we’ve discovered, we could take care of the situation with our own DIRECTV.
The cleaning crew needs to pay more attention to detail in regards to cleaning the showers and taking initiative to change things themselves like the ripped and severely moldy shower curtain liner in the downstairs bathroom.
Steve is not there to be able to notice this , it’s obvious, and they ignored it.
Definitely would stay here again !

This property accommodated our two families very well. Awesome room for common living. The location was great with easy access to the beach and the turtles! Highly recommend. The manager was quick to respond. To make sure we had everything we needed. Boogie boards and chairs for the beach in the garage were a great addition. Also, really loved the outdoor shower to get all the sand off before we came into the house.

We found this house to be absolutely perfect for my husband and I, along with our grown children and their spouses. There was a lot of space for three couples and everyone had their own private bedroom and bathroom, which was ideal. The lennai (sp??) was a great gathering space with a perfect view of the ocean. It was so nice to be right across the street from the water and we could get to the ocean in a heart beat. Our landlord, Steve, was very accommodating and whenever we needed anything, it was taken care of. The one minor thing was how difficult the blinds in both upstair bedroom windows were to open and close. This was the first time I have been to Hawaii and I couldn't have dreamed of a better location or house to be in. Thanks so much for making our stay so delightful!!

This house was perfect for the 10 of us. We range in ages from 72 to 5 years old and every single one of us enjoyed the house. The house was yards away from the beach, local restaurant and surf shop. There was a small play ground for the little ones across the street and the most perfect cove for our smaller swimmers. There were plenty of beach towels for us to use and the outdoor hot shower was a great feature! We will definitely be looking for this house again if come back to Kauai!

Property was as described. Easy access to both Brenekke's and Poipu Beaches, with views of the ocean from the porch. Kitchen was reasonably well stocked. Could have used more kitchen towels. We texted with the owner about a small issue (our group needed an additional fan) and he was responsive, and reimbursed us for the purchase. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation in paradise!

We were a group of eight, ages 74 to 16. The home was exactly what we desired. There was room to spread out and the patio was a favorite spot for the whole family.
Walking to beach was a daily event. Beach chair and umbrellas help to make the beach a favorite spot. Seals and turtles can be seen on the beach and if you watch close you can see whales breaching offshore.
Steve was wonderful to work with and must carry his phone around with him as he was available when ever we had a question.

Everything about this place was wonderful. Plenty of room for our party of seven. The location couldn't have been more perfect. Right across from the beach. Beautiful sunsets and so much fun watching the turtles come onto the beach every evening. The house was well stocked with everything you will need. The host was just a text away if we needed anything (which we didn't). There were plenty of beach accessories which made our beach days very enjoyable. I have stayed at a lot vrbo's, and this rental is definitely at the top of my list. Do not hesitate to book this property!

The location of this property is unbeatable. It is right across the street from Poipu Breach Park, and in between Brennecke Beach and Poipu Beach. Each morning, the sea turtles and seals would come up onto the beach at Poipu. Brennecke is an awesome bodysurfing/ bodyboard beach, while Poipu has a nice cove for snorkeling, and a great surf break right to the West of that. ALL within walking distance. Also, don't forget to grab a Puka Dog and fresh squeezed lemonade at their spot right below Brennecke Beach Broiler. Yum! Steve is a great host, and the instructions are easy to follow. The house could use some updating, but we didn't really care too much because we were out at the beach most of the days. Mahalo!

Great home in a super great location. This home is roomy for everyone and we loved how many hang out options there are. We enjoyed the big deck that is partially covered so it makes sitting outside really nice anytime of day or night. The home is very well appointed with all the things you may need to make. your stay comfortable. We really liked that the bathrooms are all spacious and not cramped.
We also loved being able to just walk across the street and see the turtles and monk seals and walk to Kalapacki Joe's for best happy hour and football games.
Your host Steve is super fantastic!!

This property had an amazing view and was in an excellent location. We loved being able to walk to the beach (Brennecke’s and Poipu), as well as dinner and drinks at Brennecke’s. House was perfect for what we needed. We travelled with 6 adults and 2 kids- plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Our family trip to Kauai was fabulous and our stay at this home was perfect. We were literally across the street from the beach. This made everything easier with the little ones. The house had ample room for everyone to gather (or nap) and Steve (the host), is a pleasure to work with. He is responsive and informative and just an all around nice guy! As a special note, I rent from VRBO often and one of my pet peeves is the lack of towels in many homes. This home not only had more then enough towels, they were also great quality. The house also had all the beach equipment needed, including snorkeling gear. Often it is the little things - along with the big things, that make the difference. I highly recommend this property! We are already talking about our next trip!!!

Although I’d been to Hawaii this was my first time on Kauai and I’m glad we experienced it in this home.
While there were some small things in need of repair this is a beautiful home in an amazing location. The beach is just across the street and you have great views from the wrap around deck.
Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults.
The homeowner is great! I had the pleasure of meeting him and when I needed something he was on it right away.

This location was perfect for our quick beach wedding. We walked across the street, got married on the little bluff between beaches, then had an incredible vacation!
I had my coffee on the beach with see the turtles nearly every morning and saw a monk seal playing in the water. It was nice to be able to walk down to Brennecke’s and Puka dog! Plus the shaved ice…yum!
Steve was easy to work with, both before and during our vacation, there were a few small hiccups but he was very responsive and resolved everything quickly. We had plenty of space for our party of 10 at this house, plus a little extra for our little reception. The decks are awesome and a great place to people watch. Not to mention the View of the ocean and park!
There were 4 kids and 6 adults in our party. The kids ages were 8, 10, 10 and 13 years old. The 3 adult couples all had private rooms and the kids spread out in down stairs.
We’d stay here again…. Maybe for an anniversary trip!

This property was exactly what we were looking for! It had enough space for 6 adults and a 1 year old, everyone had their own bathroom and large bedroom. The location doesn't get any better, we were across the street from the beautiful Poipu beaches and a couple steps from Brennecke's. There were a few minor upgrades to the house that we pointed out to Steve, but everything was taken care of and he was very responsive and easy to work with! We will definitely be returning!

This was a perfect house for our party of 13. We had 4 adults and 9 children. There was plenty of space for our whole crew. The location was perfect as there was a playground, great boogie boarding beach, and a calm beach for the littles within a 3 minute walk. Steve was great to work with and responded quickly to any requests. It was also around the corner from Puka Dog which is a must when in Kauai.

We had a fabulous stay. The location is perfect. Walking distance to both a boogie boarding beach, snorkeling area, turtle resting place, a surf shop, and a fun place to eat. The house offers a view of the ocean and an open central floor plan. It offers different areas for a family to spread out. The owner was very communicative and accommodating for our weird timing issues.

This property was exactly as described. The house was clean, well maintained, and very spacious. Plenty of room for our family of adults and would be a great choice if you had children running around.
It was wonderful to be so near the ocean-the crashing waves can be heard from anywhere inside the house. A roomy deck with a large table, many chairs and a barbecue made for many enjoyable dinners and scenic morning coffees.
Steve was very helpful and responsive to questions. We hope to return someday!

I feel I can write a very accurate review of Steve’s house as I broke my leg the second day in Hawaii so I spent pretty much a solid week in the house. As my vacation pretty much ended with my accident, I really appreciated the open space and beautiful breezy lanai overlooking the beach. I spent every day lounging on the comfy lounge chair and enjoying the sights and sounds of the neighborhood and beach waves. Plenty of space for my 4 and 2 year olds to play and run around. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms and kids slept on pullout bed. That was a perfect setup, even though it’s right off main living area, we spent most of our gatherings on the lanai anyway. The kitchen was very well equipped with serving ware and appliances. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone. A laundry basket full of masks and snorkels to fit everyone young and old. Plenty of beach toys and boogie boards, chairs, mats, anything you want for the beach! Really excellent property and Steve was available for any and all questions. Highly recommend this property for family gatherings! Thanks Steve!

This property could not be located in a better place. Close to beaches, restaurants and a dive shop where you can rent chairs and umbrellas. Furniture is comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped although the stove did not have all burners working. I had to deduct a star due to the air conditioning. The main room is air conditioned but not the bedrooms nor the entire ground floor. The bedrooms were so hot sleep was difficult. They did not cool off until around 2am and then the roosters crowed at 4am. Impossible to nap in afternoon. So sleep was in short supply. Perhaps in months other than August it is more comfortable.

This house is located between one of the best boogie board beaches and one of the best snorkeling beaches on the island. These two beaches are separated by a beautiful grass park where you can sit and watch the waves come in. The upstairs patio is perfect for grillin and chillin!!! The gas grill worked out perfect for dinners. We could not have asked for a better house or a better location. Steve was a perfect host and was very responsive when we had questions. I would highly recommend this house for anyone travelling to Kauai!

You can’t beat being literally across from the best beaches. We loved hearing the waves crashing all night.The house is roomy for a group. Decor is a bit tired but it was clean.The beach toys are just leftovers from previous guests and mostly broken so bring your own or rent . There is a rental place close by. Hosts were good to communicate with and we appreciated that.

What is not to love about this home? This space was perfect for our family of four plus two friends…the layout provides enough rooms for everyone to feel like they have their own space, each bedroom has a window toward the ocean (which is seriously steps away) and there are upstairs and downstairs decks.

Steve's house was just as described. There were 7 adults in our group and there was plenty of room for us to hang out together or get away for some quiet time. We especially enjoyed meals on the lanai which were easy to prepare in the large, well-stocked kitchen. The beds were comfy as were the rest of the furnishings. Steve was easy to communicate with and available to answer any questions I had. If we return to the Poipu area, we hope to stay here again.

The house was HUGE. Loved everything about it. Beautiful inside, kitchen equipped with every appliance needed. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean. Walk across the street and you're there. When we were there, my kids wanted to know when we could come back, and we hadn't even left yet.

We had a great family vacation celebrating my father's birthday. There was 10 in our party including grandparents, spouses and grandchildren and we all fit comfortably in the beach house. The kitchen is large which made cooking for a large group a breeze. We ate out one night at the Shops at Kukui'ula (a 3 min drive) but there are many other restaurants within a 5 min drive.
The best feature of the house is its location. It's directly across the street from Poipu Beach Park, which has great snorkeling and is perfect for the little ones as it is relatively calm. One tip, bring some bread (in a zip lock bag) and your waterproof camera when you go snorkeling. You can thank me later.
The house also has a nice outdoor shower so it's easy to rinse off the kids after a day at the beach.
Steve, the owner, was accommodating and very easy to work with.

My current and extended family had an amazing stay here over Christmas. You can see the beach from the Lanai and walk across the street at be at both the beach and PoiPu park. The house was perfect for our family of six. Spacious with lots of common area for us to hang out together. When we couldn't figure out how to use the remote for the TV, the owners were right there on the phone walking us through it (of course, it was simple!). It was so relaxing and beautiful! Would love to have the opportunity to go back again!!!
