My husband and I and our friends really enjoyed our stay in the condo! The bedrooms were on opposite ends of the hallway so it was perfect for two couples. The king sized beds were comfortable. We watched breathtaking sunrises every morning from the lanai. (There was construction in the lot next door but it wasn’t blocking the views). We all enjoyed the beautiful pictures and artwork in the condo. We visited Kauai Coffee Company so we were happy the condo had a coffee bean grinder, coffee pot, and Keurig to sample our delicious coffees we bought. The kitchen had quite a few spices, salt and pepper etc. plenty of dishes, pots and pans, wine glasses, blender, tea pot & I even found a pitcher for my fresh brewed iced tea. We appreciated the washer and dryer and downstairs bathroom. The “beach” closet had everything we needed for a day at the beach, a cooler, chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear and really nice beach towels. The grounds to the condo are very pretty and manicured. The pool and hot tub area are well kept and clean. We used the Weber BBQs on the grounds, Although it was a bit of trek from the second story condo to the bbq area we didn’t mind. Everything was comfortable, clean and enjoyable! We had the best time! We would stay here again! Thank you for hosting your beautiful place!

Overall everything was great and the view was beautiful.
The only CONs were:
- There was some construction going on that slightly obstructed the view.
- We found that the sofa bed had bed bugs when we arrived. We had to wash the sheets. You may want to spray before future guests arrive.
- The Beach umbrellas were broken.
Otherwise, nice place and location. thank you.

The location of the home was great! It was located by a trail in front of the ocean, and was a short 10-20 min walk to Brenneckes and Poipu beach! The kitchen was well stocked and the bed sheets were clean. The view of the ocean was great from the balcony and rooms! Each room also had its own air conditioning. There were plenty of beach supplies such as umbrellas, snorkel gear, coolers, boogie boards, and sunscreen to use! We really enjoyed our stay!

The property was very nice, a quiet location but close to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed the trails nearby and the coast scenery was breath taking. The condo was very well equiped with lots of supplies , towels and sports equipment. The only improvement I could suggest would be a small drying rack for damp swim suits and towels in the laundry room. WE had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to others.

We stayed for about 10 days have nothing but terrific things to say about the property. Everything was as advertised; from the general location, the air conditioning, the ocean views (with whale watching from the lanai and binoculars were provided!), and the everything else provided in the condo, including very comfortable beach chairs. Our family had the best time staying at this condo! From coffee on the lanai, walks along the path to Shipwreck Beach, walks to Poipu Beach, watching sunrises and sunsets, watching the whales and sleeping comfortably. This condo had everything and more! Fully stocked, nice breeze throughout, everything you need in the kitchen, great bbq area, a lot of beach gear and beach towels. Hearing the waves hit the rocks was amazing! Very nice condo and had such a great stay!

Very nice condo in a great location on Poipu. Liked the upstairs/downstairs layout as we don't like to hear footsteps over our head from neighbors! Great walking path just outside and a nice pool. The unit was very well stocked with juices/sodas/condiments and laundry supplies.. Only drawback were some spots/corners that could have been cleaned better...not a major issue. We had strong winds during our visit which limited use of the lanai and the water sports equipment. Overall, we would certainly recommend this unit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our eight night stay, the property was perfect for our family of four, including my two daughters who are 8 and 5. The views are breathtaking and the condo is very well equipped with anything you might need. The complex is lovely and the location within Poipu is close to everything but on the edge to feel like you’re a bit away from it all which is perfect. We will look to stay again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay in Claire's Kauai condo. We had everything we needed to enjoy our time on Kauai. There is a closetful of items to play at beach. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to make meals in the condo. The view off the lanai is so amazing! We watched a baby whale breaching and splashing and there were spinner dolphins off the shoreline. The beds are comfortable and the A/C welcome. We can't wait to come back!

My family (adult kids 18 & 20) stayed in early Jan. We highly recommend this condo. Well equipped with snorkel & beach gear and with a great kitchen and laundry too. We spent lots of time exploring Makuenha Point watching waves crash and whales blow. It’s a short drive to Poipu so see monk seals and turtles. Snorkel at Poipu, boogie board at Brenneke’s beach and much more. Walk to shipwreck beach and hike a little more to the cave. This also serves as a fairly central location for touring the North, East, and West Island. Sunsets from just outside the pool area are amazing. Lots of restaurants for eating in or takeout are close by. Our 6 nights flew by! For the accommodation, location and view you won’t find a better value.

My family and I loved everything about this condo. The location was perfect! There was plenty of room for everyone and we enjoyed the view from the living room and both bedrooms. There are nice extras too- we used the beach chairs, beach towels, and coolers on our daily trips to the beach. There’s a path that you can take to walk to Shipwreck Beach right by the Hyatt. Or you can drive 5 minutes and park right next to Shipwreck. Poipu and Brennecke's Beach are a quick drive to the west. Claire was friendly and very responsive to any questions I had. As long as you’re ok with lots of stairs, I highly recommend staying here and hope I get to come back soon!

I stayed here while attending a conference at the Hyatt resort just up the road. This was the perfect location as I would walk to the conference every day. There is a public trail that runs along the coast and right next to the home, which made taking a sunrise jog each morning so easy. This is a great central location for all things on souther Kauai. The balcony has a nice view of the ocean and is perfect for viewing sunrises. I stayed 5 days and my elderly parents accompanied me. The home was clean and comfortable with great air conditioning and nice kitchen to cook meals in. I couldn’t recommend this more for anyone looking to stay in southern Kauai!

This is such a cute condo. There is a master with a king bed and a 2nd room with 2 twin beds. Each room has a bathroom, and there is an extra 1/2 bath downstairs. Everything was super clean and the living room couch turns into a pull out bed. The only challenging part is not having elevator access. We had to carry multiple full sized suitcases down some steps to get to the walkway to the condo. Then we had to carry them up a flight of stairs to the condo itself. This is not an ADA accessible property. If you are not able to carry luggage up a flight of stairs then this place may not work for you. Otherwise, I would def stay again in the future.

Stayed here with my husband and two teenagers and loved it. The condo is walking distance to Poipu Beach and Brennecke's which had decent dinner. We saw turtles and a seals at the beach. We watched magnificent sun rises from the lanai every morning. The beds were comfortable and the 1/2 bath on the first floor was so appreciated....as was the A/C. My only complaint which I think is unavoidable is that the A/C unit is on the lanai so if you were running the A/C but trying to sit out there, the heat from the unit was stifling. I realize this is a trade-off for having A/C in Hawaii and was by no means a deterrent....just an observation. Claire was super responsive and when our flight got delayed which caused us to arrive a day late, she offered a late checkout and an additional day since the unit was available. The condo had everything we needed and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

This condo was fabulous! When we arrived, it was perfectly clean and ready for us with new renovations. Not only is the view from the living room and lanai perfect, but you can also see the ocean from both bedroom windows upstairs. The air conditioning worked like a dream and kept us cool. There were boogie boards, snorkels, beach chairs, and even a wagon to fit all of your beach adventure needs. This was a perfect condo for our family and we hope to return!

We were very pleased to spend 9 days at this VRBO rental. There is a full kitchen, and dining area. Two bedrooms upstairs and a downstairs bathroom with a washer and dryer.
We especially enjoyed the view from the lanai which over looks the ocean.
Unfortunately, the lanai was closed off for 2 days due to construction work on the fascia. There was construction noise from about 9 to 5 on those days. Obviously, this was not the fault of the condo owner. The construction work was finished prior to our departure.

Condo was sold after our booking, but Claire upheld previous agreement and remained in constant communication during the transition process. We were welcomed to condo with chocolates, wine and cookies. Balcony view was amazing for sunrises. Condo was within walking distance to Poipu Beach, which my family loved. Snorkeling was great at Poipu Beach. Condo was very accommodating with beach equipment, chairs, cooler, snorkeling gear, beach chairs and towels. Not much shopping/grocery stores real close, so be prepared to travel 30 minutes for food. Overall, our stay was amazing and the island was beautiful.

We enjoyed our week here. The unit was clean and well maintained. There are stairs to climb to access the condo and inside the condo to get to the bedrooms. (There is no elevator for anyone with mobility concerns.) The furniture is comfortable. The view of the ocean is fantastic and it was great to walk the trail right next to the building. The condo is situated perfectly to enjoy your sunrise coffee on the lanai. The pool and hot tub are great amenities, as is the green space nearby to watch the sunset, turtles and dolphins. Space was clean and kitchen is stocked for cooking. The air conditioning was welcomed during our three week stay in July. Lisa could not have been more accommodating as we worked through Covid rescheduling. We would love to return to these comfortable accommodations on our favorite island. Mahalo!

My family had a wonderful 3-night stay in July 2021 at this Poipu condo. It was amazing to have an ocean view during our stay! The stairs to the accommodations were not a problem for our group. We were out and about most of the day, and to return to this very comfortable A/C space was a nice relief! We enjoyed the walk to Shipwreck Beach, and enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. This condo was a great location to access Waimea Canyon and the sights in the south area of Kauai. This was a great space for two parents, and two "kids" ages 16 and 20!

We were so happy to be on Kauai coming out of the pandemic, and this rental was spacious, comfortable, and air conditioned, which was great. Downside is when the air conditioning is on, the exhaust system on the lanai turns on and is kind of loud and hot. Lanai is on the side of the building so ocean view is not straight on, but lovely. Well used walking path in front of lanai. Hosts were communicative in advance of lodging and we didn’t need them during the stay. Overall good stay.

We had a great week at Poipu. The condo was excellent for us — we watched beautiful sunrises from the balcony, and we appreciated the closet with beach towels and chairs, etc. Having air-conditioning was a huge plus; we used it in the bedroom at night. I think we might have used it once in the living room. We also enjoyed the pool, although the hot tub was under repair when we were there. The grounds are beautiful and there are lovely places to view the sunset. The TV and internet worked well, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the washer and dryer were very convenient.

Dwight & Lisa have put fantastic touches into this two-level home. Brand new appliances (washer and dryer came in handy), extra binoculars, full beach kit, fans, etc. Couldn't ask for anything more. Easy check-in process; the small glitch we had was immediately responded to by Lisa and taken care of. The pictures do not do it justice; amazing sunrise view from the lanai and walk a few steps to see the sunset, as well as a ton of whales while we were there mid-February. Close to great food, markets, hiking, beaches, shopping, etc. Can't recommend this property enough, much better than resort life as it is quiet, secluded and perfect for our "Babymoon". Thank you!

We stayed for a week with 2 teens. We cooked dinner every night, used the oven and bbq. The condo has what we needed, was so much cleaner than other condos we've stayed in Hawaii in. It's right on the ocean so maintenance must be difficult to keep up with, but we only noticed minor issues. Overall I want to come back!

We loved this unit so much that we didn't want to leave. The view from the lanai was spectacular! We loved watching the sunrise every morning. We also enjoyed watching whales from the lanai. Walking along the path next door we saw turtles and sea lions. The Condo had everything we needed for our stay and was very comfortable. The beach fun closet is full of everything you will need for a great day at the beach. The complex is lovely and the pool and hot tub were great for relaxing at the end of the day. We would definitely rent this unit again if we are lucky enough to return to the beautiful Island of Kauai!!

First of all, the location is perfect! Check in was simple although I’m not sure why they don’t just text the door code to you. The condo was very nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. There was also beach supplies such as towels, snorkels and COOLERS which was the best!
We did use the washer and dryer which was convenient to have. The bathroom towels got musty after a couple of days and needed washed too.
The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner was a nice bonus.
The lanai provides spectacular views. I don’t think there was a sunrise we missed from there.
We only wished that there was a BBQ grill closer to the condo. Also, there was some confusion on check out time. There were conflicting times but it worked out.
Overall, a great stay. We would recommend staying here.
