This home was amazing very spacious for a single-family, specifically 3 of us.
The rooms were amazing each with its own a/c unit (very nice).
Very clean, all the amenities were great; washer and dryer were necessary since we are an adventurous family (a lot of hiking and beaches).
Beautiful views and awesome Lanai; beautiful sunrises and sunsets and exceptional walk to Hideaway Beach, like 10 min.
Princeville ….is Princeville absolutely stunning. Chickens are still here and I love ‘em as well as the Nenes’ so great!

We stayed here for 3 weeks and though we had a couple really ugly stormy days, this condo is lovely and had everything we needed to even enjoy being inside. The views of the mountains and ocean are always there so it's exciting to watch the changing skies. On the beautiful days, we could open the sliders and hear the ocean as we watched surfers down on Hideaways Beach. Even spotted some whale activity right from the lanai. The binoculars provided are great. The beautiful pool is right in view and the water is perfect for swimming. Got to watch a huge albatross walking around the lawn a couple of times. Since it's an end unit, there are many extra windows with a view of the mountains. Lots of living & dining seating. Hosts & management were very responsive to questions and requests. The beds are super comfy and the bathrooms are great. Love the in-unit laundry, too. Location is great for everything you want to do on the northern part of Kauai. We went to Anini Beach (favorite), Hanalei Beach, Kalihiwai Beach, & Kapaa Beach plus the Kiluea Lighthouse and Na Aina Kai Botanical Garden. All different and amazing. Kalypso restaurant in Hanalei is worth the wait. Kiluea Fish Market has the BEST fish tacos. B's Kitchen never disappointed 5 times. Hideaways Pizza Pub is just a 10 minute scenic walk from the condo and a great place. Pu'u Poa #201 is the place to be in Princeville if you want ocean views and sounds and no noise from any humans ever. Even the kids at the pool were never screaming. You'll get used to the roosters starting at 3:00 a.m.

While the actual condo was nice, we had the unfortunate timing with a huge construction project right next to the room. The county was ripping up and repaving a parking lot 20 feet from the kitchen and living room. So we got to hear heavy equipment and smell tar all day, every day we stayed rather than enjoying the ocean. Our kids couldn't nap due to the noise and it was not how we envisioned our vacation. While I know it's not the hosts' fault for ongoing construction, but I was not told this was happening beforehand. I also let both the property owner and manager know about it and neither responded at all. I guess they just care about themselves and all that money they take from you. I would avoid this place simply due to the risk of dealing with a snake of a host.

Very nice place to relax. Any problems with earlier reviews were inaccurate or have been taken care of. Lanai was clean and enjoyable. Pool was maintained every day. Would come back!

Just loved this condo! It was perfect for our anniversary trip. Very spacious, clean, all amenities you need including beach gear. The view was amazing. Location was nice and quiet. There are renovations going on at the resort next door but that never bothered us, didn't even notice until we looked out a small window one day! Management was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We plan on staying here on our next trip!

Quiet, incredible views and size of the condo make this a good choice. It was very clean as well. The negative part was the lack of maintenance in some areas of the condo. The lanai needed tile repair, my husband cut his toe on a broken tile so be cautious. The AC worked well too. Overall if you can get a great rate the condo is worth it.

Absolutely beautiful lived up to expectations. The patio is falling apart. Recommendations would be to add additional options for pillows, we took the pillows out of the shams to use because the regular pillows were way too hard. The front door is super tricky to unlock at times we spent five minutes or more trying to get in the door wheelchair back. Another recommendation would be to let your guests know that you have a Keurig they might want to bring that type of coffee instead. We loved it! Thanks a million

The pictures did not reflect the actual condition of the lanai. There were several broken tiles and weeds growing on the deck. So much so that we avoided going out there. WeI selected this unit partially for the jacuzzi tub that did not work, due to the stopper not holding water and masking tape holding the start button in place, very disappointing. This unit also needs to be deep cleaned. This unit is not cheap and in the current condition is not worth the money.

Property is just as pictured, clean, spacious, well appointed. It had plenty of beach and snorkel amenities such as snorkels, boogie boards and chairs. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful. A pickle ball court was a plus and borrowed equipment from neighbors. All in all a beautiful relaxing memorable week! Will definitely be back.

My family of 5 had an amazing stay here. The furniture and Hawaiian decor touches were exactly to our taste as it added to our stay for a Hawaiian vibe. The location of the lanai being so close to the pool was nice when family was down at the pool and you could see and even talk to them as they swam. The view from the condo was beautiful when waking in the morning and from the lanai slider and the large windows you could see ocean!
The bedding was very comfortable and the kitchen was a great size for meal and snack prep. The condo had a very nice and open layout making it feel very spacious!
The biggest takeaway from this unit and complex overall is LOCATION…since this unit is at the furthest end of the complex, you’re also then closest walking distance to the pool, Hideaways Beach Trail (adventurous and beautiful), and an established trail/path leading you to Hanalei Bay beach which was nice snorkeling!
If you’re looking for amazing views, a spectacular location for trails, beaches, Hanalei and excursions this is PERFECT!

I read that there was construction in nearby units and contacted the host who told me that the heavy construction was complete. Actually, there are about 9 units that are doing total gut jobs and you can constantly hear tile saws, compressors, etc during the day.
I asked the host twice if I could get in early, but he did not respond. When I got there, the unit had not been cleaned and we had to throw bedding and towels in the laundry, clean the kitchen and refrigerator. The local manager was very good and found someone to come in at 5:30pm to finish the cleaning. She said we would get a refund of the cleaning changes, but the host never followed through with a credit. I contacted him again and no response.
It's a nice location, except for the noise. Without the construction and with a responsive and honest host, this could be a 5-star review.

The unit was great -- spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was wonderful -- watching the ocean was very calming. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because construction going on in the unit above and next to us began every morning at 8 and went until 5. I specifically asked the owner about this and was told the construction noise would be finished by our stay.

We made reservations ~ 10 months prior. Few months prior arrival I noticed bad reviews re: loud construction. When communicating w/ owner/manager he said loud construction was done, and they were just painting now. That was an obvious bold face lie since condo above and next to was gutted. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE.

We were so happy with our stay in Princeville. The view was gorgeous, the beach and pool were close, and the neighborhood was quiet. Plenty of space for our family of four to spread out. We will be back!

What a wonderful place! We did (like others) learn just a few weeks before travel that there was ongoing construction in the unit above us. Turns out that it’s the unit above us, below us, and next to us. BUT, the noise was very infrequent and really not an issue. This likely changes week to week because the other units are undergoing major renovations. The view was perfect, and it was fun to have a unit on the end so we could look down into the pool when some of us were there. The unit was clean and had what we needed, including some beach gear that we happily borrowed. The property manager and owner were both responsive the few times we reached out before our stay. We were also grateful to discover a high chair and pack and play that made traveling with a baby easier. The beds were really comfortable, and our 9-year-old slept soundly on one of the couches so we didn’t try out the air mattress. Happy with our stay overall!

We booked this property for a QUIET 6 day getaway. Booked in early November. We were contacted 2.5 weeks prior to our departure and were told our contact had “just learned” that the unit directly above us would be under construction. When I responded to explain that this was not acceptable, a small discount was offered and then we were ghosted. I sent two further messages to Easwar voicing my concern about being disturbed during our stay, and needing some guarantees about times and dates of construction, with no response. Of course by the time we were informed, everything else in the area was either booked or astronomically expensive. We arrived to find out that the units above, beside and below us, in addition to many other units, were ALL under construction. Jackhammers and saws surrounded us and started at 8am every morning (except Sunday). Construction trucks could be heard at 7am. We were driven out of the unit every day by the excessive noise. It was clear when we spoke to the workers that construction had been under way for months in the complex. Do not be fooled. If you book this rental, ask for a full money-back guarantee at the time of booking that you’ll not be living in a construction zone. The unit is beautiful, with a gorgeous view that you cannot enjoy between 8am and 5pm, Mon-Sat.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience with this property. Beautiful lodging, incredible views, comfortable beds, easy to contact management company with any questions.
However, were were warned only 1 week before our vacation that the upstairs condo was being renovated, and to expect some construction noise. We accepted that, but once we got there, we were surprised to see that not only was the above condo being renovated, but 2 other condos surrounding us as well (next door and below).
Due to this, relaxing during the day at the condo itself was difficult due to lots of construction noise. Because we weren't warned about the 3 condos around us undergoing construction, and weren't warned about even the one above until 1 week before our arrival, we didn't have an opportunity to adjust our plans.
Again, the condo itself was great. But the daytime experience there was lacking, and we wished we'd have been able to enjoy it during the day with some times of quiet.

The condo was good but not what we expected. The Good- Inside very clean and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds very comfortable. The view was incredible and having the binoculars available was an added bonus. The Less Good- We had been notified approximately 5 weeks before our stay that the unit above was being renovated. However, at no time was there any mention that the unit beside and below us were also being renovated. Also there is a construction project happening next to the condo. We talked with condo owners below this unit and they mentioned that their unit has been under renovations for several months. The deck was dirty, crowded with plants and in need of repair and therefore weren't able to enjoy our dinners outside. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again if there was no construction/renos happening. Mahalo!

I gave this property an overall rating of 3 because the lanai was absolutely filthy. When we booked this condo, it wasn't just for the condo itself but for the size and a beautiful lanai. On our want list was a nice unit overlooking the ocean in Princeville with a large lanai. We thought we found the perfect unit. We pictured ourselves having coffee in the morning looking out over the ocean. Upon arrival we were very impressed with the grounds. We were disappointed there was no elevator. The unit itself was very nice. We were very pleased, alot of upgrades. When we went out onto the lanai, we couldn't believe our eyes. It wasn't just a little dirty, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months. The tile floor was stained and dirty, some of the tiles were broken, weeds growing up between the tiles, dead plants in large pots, mold on some of the furniture, dirt piled up in the corners of the lanai. I suggest not renting this unit if you like sitting on a lanai, you will be very disappointed. If you want to stay indoors, then the unit is for you. Too good to be true, and it was!!

Had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Condo was comfortable, AC worked well when needed. We only used in the bedroom at night so we could lock the sliding doors to the balcony. Ocean breezes were wonderful. View is totally awesome! Would stay again.
Note, we read there was just a single set of stairs down to the condo which is not true. From the parking lot you have to go up and down 3 or 4 sets of stairs, some 3 steps, some 6 steps, one set for each section of the building. Not the least bit handicap firendly. So if you can't do stairs, this is not for you.
Just a few issues:
1. Noise--Condo lis next to a renovation equipment yard where the construction beepers start at 7 AM. Condos above, below and adjacent are all under substantial renovation. Noise all day every weekday. Jack hammers, hammer drills, concrete saws and so forth, all the loudest tools you can use. VERY Annoying. We are only warned about this a few days before our departure so nothing we could do about it.
2. Kitchen faucet handle was installed upside down so you can only have hot water or cold water, nothing in between.
3. Balcony is dirty, moldy and could use renovation. BBQ grill worked great though!
4. Bathtub jets were disabled with a tape-off of the on button and the drain would not close so could not take a bath very well. Shower was awesome though!
5. No bliinds or curtains on the window in the main bedroom let in lots of light during the night with no way to block it
Still had a great time and would consider returning if construction was over

Here are the factual pros and cons of this unit. Pros:
1. View is amazing
2. Kitchen is well equipped and functional
3. Furniture works well for a rental. Very comfortable.
4. AC works well unlike many units in Hawaii.
5. Nice Smart TVs
Cons:
1. NOISE--Located adjacent to Hotel renovation equipment yard where the backup beepers start at 7 AM. Condos above, below and adjacent are all under substantial renovation. Noise from 8 AM to 5 PM every weekday. Owner did reduce rental cost 10% for the noise.
2. Poor Condition--This unit needs to be renovated. Mold/Mildew along windows and baseboards; Roof leak with construction bucket in living room to catch water; outdoor deck has cracked and missing floor tiles; weeds growing up through the deck grout lines; old indoor lamp left outside on the deck. I could go on.
3. Slow Internet--Good news is the unit has wifi. Bad news is the router is in the bedroom so no internet on the deck (too far) and very slow in other locations of the unit. Even in the bedroom speeds were at 10 Mbps and less at times.
4. Light thru bedroom window--In the primary bedroom there is a louvered window with no shade. The outdoor lighting for the building is outside this window so all night the light shines thru the window with no shade or drape to cover it. If you like a dark bedroom when you sleep....out of luck.
5. Repair charge--the first day we were in the unit the shower head broke off in the bathroom. There are two shower heads so it did not affect the ability to take a shower and I made the mistake of not reporting it to the property manager when it happened...my mistake. We left the broken shower head in the bathroom. After we left on the same day I got an email stating that my credit card had been charged $300 for the "damage". There is nothing I could do as the owner can charge whatever he wants for damage he believes you caused. My error for not reporting it immediately and taking pictures. $300 for a plastic shower head could not have cost more than $50 and someone only had to be screw on the new shower head as the pipe and threads were fine. There was nothing I could do.
When you go on a family vacation, you really do not want your stay marred by noise, dirty buckets in the living room, a deck full of weeds, etc., There is a reason why this unit was the least expensive rental in this Condo community.

Tremendous noise all day due to demolition (removal of tile, floors, sheetrock) of condo units directly above and next to our unit with constant use of power tools, sledge hammers, etc. made our unit incredibly noisy and virtually uninhabitable between 8am and 5pm. Owner totally unresponsive. On-site property manager could not believe that our unit had been rented out since the demolition had been known for several months before. The owner's local property manager seemed sympathetic, but the owner has not responded to my messages.

I have no doubt our experience would have been super enjoyable. The owner of the condo and management person were super communicators the entire time. We had a child test positive for Covid the night before departure, forcing us to cancel our trip. We did purchase the insurance option and received funds today, which makes all parties involved content. I can’t comment on the place, but everything up until that point was great!

We did not attempt the steep hike down the trail to Hideaway Beach, due to a sign that said it was closed (although others were using the trail still). We found the trail to Fort Alexander right next to the beach trail, and watched spectacular sunsets from there. This condo is easy drivable distance to many beaches and the local grocery store. Beautifully decorated and comfortable with AC in each room.

The condo had great views of the ocean and allowed us to watch lots of surfers. It is also right next to the trail to Hideaway (which is technically closed but everyone uses it). There is a separate path to the another larger beach. The condo itself is very is very nice and clean. The kitchen was very nicely stocked. I would bring my own shampoo, there was no conditioner... The pool was nice and there was almost never anyone there. There is snorkeling gear in the storage until that you should use down at hideaway. We swam with the turtles.
The neighborhood is nice and you can walk a lot. There is significant construction going on in the area. The huge hotel next to the condo is being completely re-done and some of the units are doing through significant renovation.

This place is even more beautiful than the pictures portray! Quiet in the evenings, nice neighbors, lovely kitchen, and all the things you would need for the beach. We were a bit bothered by the construction, but we were given fair warning (although it started earlier in the morning- around 7am- than I think they anticipated) by the property manager and owner, plus the owner of the unit spoke to us as well. After 4pm things were quiet. Other than that, wonderful experience!

We stayed at this property in late September. The condo was very clean, had plenty of room for the 4 of us and was easy to get to.
Incredibly easy access to the pool and tennis courts. Air conditioning was a huge bonus and the views from the patio were amazing. Waking up, grabbing a coffee and listening to the waves as the sun came up was the perfect way to start each day.

My favorite area to explore in Kauai was the north shore and this was the perfect location to stay for that. Only a 10 minute drive to Hanalei. The bed was so comfortable. Overall very comfortable stay and the view from the condo is hard to beat. I didn't get cell service there but the wifi was great. Great place for all - whether you're a family, honeymooners, or enjoying solo!

Unit is in a great location and was nice and clean. Queen bed for living room was a blow up mattress that is stored in closet and we finally found sheets and pillows for it in different places in the condo but we never found blankets for it. Property manager to me to stand on a chair to access some high up cabinets in spare room to look for the blankets but all I saw were more pillows and a few bags so we didn’t have blankets for blow up mattress. Also there was loud construction going on in unit below us all day on our last full day there. I would stay there again if we have 4 or less people but not more than 4.

This property is a gem and worth making it a destination! First and foremost for the beauty of the location in Kauai, but equally as important, for the professional, prompt, accurate support of Valerie, the property manager. We had very easy, effective communication with her, with all the answers we needed and the most helpful, gracious attitude. We felt very special!
The unit has a great location in Princeville, at the far west of the residential area, in a very quaint complex, past a stunning golf course, and with beautiful views of the ocean. It is supplied with everything you need for a comfortable, worry-less, vacation.
We particularly appreciated the extra large TV set and Ruko device we used every evening to watch the Olympics. The kitchen is perfectly supplied, even for people like us who like to cook seriously. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms large and functional. The terrace is a real plus as well as the closeness to the pool.
Those who wish to enjoy the absolute stunning splendor of Kauai could not be in a better location here. Princeville has everything you need, a great supermarket and several cool shop, including an exceptional wine store! It's only a few minutes to Hanalei which, in our opinion, is the best village in the island, with great coffee spots, food-trucks, and two phenomenal restaurants, Ama and Bar Acuda, which equal the best in New York City. We felt at home, and we will certainly be back!

The views are stunning! It’s a very nice property. The unit needs some maintenance, but nothing that impacted our stay. Do know that it is a hike to get to any of the nearby beaches, which seems to be pretty typical for Kauai. However, once you get to a beach, they are picture perfect and usually not very crowded. Communication was clear and questions were answered promptly.

One of our favorite beaches on Kauai is Hidden Beach. This unit is perfect for visiting the beach, it is a bit of a climb down to the beach but totally worth the effort. The unit itself was stocked with everything we needed and the views out the windows were beautiful. I loved waking up in the morning to the view of the ocean. The restaurants around the area were hit or miss on if they had reopened yet, and if you did not have a reservation you had a hard time getting in. We loved eating at AMA and Postcards in Hanalei and the Poke from the grocery store in Princeville is amazing. But if you plan to cook the kitchen has everything you could need. At the time of our visit construction was happening at the old St. Regis but it never disturbed our visit.
