Location was ideal and the condo was clean and updated.
Views of the fireworks from the balcony Friday nights and a short walk to Waikiki and Ala Moana center. All pickups for excursions were easy as well since most picked up at either the prince or the Ilikai.
Janna was super quick on responses and very helpful. Initial instructions were clear and detailed.
You have everything you need including beach chairs, an umbrella and lots of beach stuff.
Laundry was super simple - next time I’d pack lighter and use the laundry.
There is recycling on the 7th floor, but we were missing a container to carry it up there - would be nice to add a bin.
Overall , and excellent stay and experience.

The apartment is at a great location, walkable distance to two beaches and close to the mall. The apartment is completely renovated but it is inside an older apartment building. We didn’t mind it but perhaps it isn’t very clear from the listing description. There were beach chairs, snorkeling gears, boogie boards, mats and beach toys at the apartment so it was very convenient and you do not need to bring or rent these, which save luggage space. Another thing to note is that the building has a finicky parking system. We only parked there for two days but have witnessed a few people including ourselves experiencing multiple issues (e.g. the barcode was cut-off on the parking pass so the gate would not open, purchased parking for a few days but the gate would not open, system let you inside the parkade even though your ticket has expired and charged you for another 24 hour when exiting). The parking attendant was rude and unhelpful. In fact, she tried to hold us behind even though her manager on the phone said to let us go due to technical issues from the parking system. She was creating unnecessary waits for everyone because there is only one entrance gate and only exit gate. There are public parking spaces outside but you have to walk a few minutes.

Check in was a mess did not give the room # or tell you how to get to the room very confusing. But the property manger did respond right away. Vrbo did not have no idea the room # they said they had to call manger need to get it together. They should of had all the information. But they did answer right away.

We were visiting Honolulu for the day and needed somewhere close to town. The place was very neat and clean, close to town and all sorts of restaurants and the mall was a quick walk away. The property manager was awesome! She was quick to or questions and provided us with a pack and play for my son. Would stay again! Mahalo!

We enjoyed our stay at Janna’s Island Paradise. It is an exceptionally maintained, updated and comfortable apartment. The apartment has luxurious touches and the bed is unbelievably comfortable. Communication with Janna was excellent, she provides comprehensive information for your stay. She was also quick to pick up the phone when we needed help with the television.
The apartment is in a convenient location for shopping at Ala Moana. The centre of Waikiki is about a 20-minute walk, or there is a bus stop just around the corner on Ala Moana Boulevard.
We enjoyed the dining options harbour front of the Ilikai Apartments. We dined at the Chart House for a couple of special meals. We were lucky enough to book early for a waterfront table to enjoy the Friday night fireworks. And casual meals at the Harbor Pub were good value.
We would stay again.

The apartment is nice and comfortable with great amenities, like shampoo, conditioner and soaps. We enjoyed walkability from the condo to restaurants. Fireworks on Friday werre great. Perfect to see from condo. I did not like looking out to see filthy water where boats are parked, a lot of sticks leaves, some garbage - very dirty. I expected clean water. Takes away from the ambience. We were taken aback by the noise. We like quiet. If you like a party atmosphere, (condo is above Chart House - delicious) Last night we came home to live music which ended at 10pm. During our stay we heard extended whining by a dog either very late or very early am. On occasion you can hear people shouting. The shower door needs to be oiled or repaired. It screeches horribly. Caulking in bathroom needs to be replaced.
If you don’t mind the noise, it is a great place to stay.

As a couple the condo was perfect for us. The sofa also made out into a second bed. Which would be perfect for a family with a young child, however four adults might find the condo a little too small. Excellent location. We enjoy walking and were very comfortable walking to Waikiki restaurants and taking buses and trolleys to outlying locations, we did not get a rental car . Fireworks from the balcony were a treat. We had a great time!!

We came to Hawaii to get married and having the condo was very helpful in providing cooked meals for my family. The privacy of being in a condo verses a hotel was also very nice. Hawaii parking fees SUCK but it was very convenient to walk right in from parking to our room.

Nice, clean condo, centrally located. Very comfy bed! All the beach amenities were a nice touch!
Only two things I would say is that for comfort I would add a latch to the main door and change out the bathroom sink, it splashes everywhere.

The condo itself was very good. Nice kitchen with great appliances including an electric frying pan. Could use some written instructions for accessing TV. The owner was helpful once contacted. The laundry facilities were appaulling. There were only 5 washers and 6 dryers for an 18 floor building!!!! 2 of the dryers were out of order. None were coin operated, you needed a cell phone to download an app. People should be made aware of this in advance, especially non-Americans who may not have a cell phone they use while in Hawaii.

Fantastic location. Great little unit. Janna was responsive to the few requests we had. Parkade rules were confusing though so try to talk to the attendant about day passes. We double paid the first day because we didn’t understand the process.

Spent 3 amazing nights in Honolulu. The location of the condo was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere. Walked along the beach into town and enjoyed some fabulous meals and sunsets. Janna was great to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

This property was exactly as advertised. The location is excellent as it is a short walk to many restaurants, shops, bars, and the beach. Communication with the owner was excellent. All questions and concerns are addressed immediately and in a very professional manner. We were very happy with our stay and the property is very nice. The complex is a little older but the unit has been redecorated and has modern features and amenities. All in all we had zero complaints and issue and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Janna

I come to the island regularly for family business. I have stayed in 2 units at this property, this unit being my favorite of the two. Nice view of the Marina and sunset. To walk to Waikiki and all the shop & restaurants, I would prefer to stay closer, however, I am here on business not vacation. If nit picking, this unit does not have an automatic ice maker in the freezer. On a low floor, sound machine provided to cover noise which worked perfectly for me. I will stay here again if available.

We had a wonderfull stay, it is not too noisy even though it is upstairs a restaurant. The place is very pretty and the little attentions, such as body lotion and chairs for the beach, were very appreciated. We had a little unexpected before our trip back to Canada and the host was very accommodating, which was appreciated.

It was amazing! Beautiful condo and views, extremely comfortable bed and living quarters. The owner was super nice and helpful and we had easy parking! We were so happy with the stay, only things we had complications with was the A/C, it stayed so hot in there and did all we could to fix it and keep it cool. Luckily we were really only there at night so it cooled off once the sun went down! The only other thing was the curtains string for the porch was broke and had to fight with it everytime we opened/closed it (which isn’t a big deal just wanted to make the owner aware!) and the shower water was hot and then ice cold hot and then ice cold like every 5 seconds, I don’t know if that’s just building or not though! Overall, beautiful place and we very much enjoyed our stay😊

Apartment could use an updated coffee machine, the blinds are a bit tricky and the hide-a-bed is not very comfortable. Great view from apartment of the beach, harbor and for firework Fridays.

For a Waikiki location, this is perfect…close walk to Ala Moana and to the main Waikiki ‘strip’. Also provide close access to H1 for road trips. View was beautiful….we could not have had a more fabulous seat for the Hilton Fireworks - watched from the balcony. . Parking pass was a massive bonus. Condo was clean and well stocked. Happy with our stay.

Was celebrating in the city a big birthday with friends and needed a central location for all of us to meet. HONESTLY I was so blown away of this condo I made sure pictures were taken before settling in---this place was perfect & super clean. I will come back here for sure & OTHERS have seen my post on Facebook already asking for details . The decor was superb and the HOST even provides robes & a white noise machine. A ladies retreat or couples for sure great place. So easy to park also --Thanks again for making this experience well worth the cost.

This condo was perfect! It’s small but had everything needed for my husband and I. It is clean and updated, and the owner was very nice and communicative. She had every detail needed in the condo. The kitchen was fully stocked and gorgeous. The bathroom as well- with great lighting. The bed and linens were very nice as was the couch. Nothing was run down or dated. This condo is on the north end of Wailiki and was east to walk most areas included a beautiful shopping center nearby. Ubers were there to take us anywhere within a few minutes of request. this part of Waikiki is a bit run down- but hotels in the nicer areas would be 3 times more expensive. You can get some noise from the street but the owner has provided a noise machine by the bed that blocks out outside noises so we slept great. Aloha!

This property has a great location, shopping, beach, harbor, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The interior was clean and comfy with a good view. I will even state the bed was comfortable which is not normally the case when I travel.. they even had beach chairs and snorkeling set up in the closet. The only negative ( not the properties fault) was the homeless and noises they made in the middle of the night. It wasn’t every night

This unit was infested with roaches. I when I contacted the host, she told me about 5 times that this unit never had roaches before. I had basically had to Facetime with her for her to be believe that the kitchen and everything under the counter (toaster, pots, microwave, etc..) had been the roach’s home for some time. The cleaning person is clearly a drunk, she came to the property smelling of urine and could hardly stand up. I owner offered me a can of Raid to accommodate my family and I just in case a roach comes running out.

This is a great location for Waikiki beach. The boats in the harbor are fun to watch.

The place was the cutest! Perfect for a couple to get away and have a beautiful view of the harbor/sunset. Loved the touches/decor she had as well. We walked in to an echo dot playing music for us and it was perfect because I forgot to pack my speaker. There were ice packs in the freezer and a beach cooler bag in the closet, along with two backpack style beach chairs. Wine bucket on the coffee table as well as wine opener and a bag of ice in the freezer. She also had two cute robes included in the closet as well as many pillows and blankets to accommodate. Closet full of many clean towels as well as beach towels, hair dryer and makeup mirror! Notices some shampoo and conditioner as well but didn’t need. The air conditioning worked very well and the unit stayed cool our entire trip, nice break from the humidity (we aren’t used to)! We will stay here again for sure if we make it back to Honolulu!

What a delightful little condo this was. Although it was small it was perfect for the two of us, and the layout of unit was so cleverly designed that the space actually seemed bigger than it was. We loved the ability to sit out on the small balcony and look out at the harbor, and the ability to walk to nearby stores and restaurants. The kitchen was well appointed and we loved that they had all the beach supplies ( chairs, cooler, umbrella) that we needed to make a day of it on Waikiki beach. Just perfect.

Great location but over decorated which made rooms smaller. Attached garage made going in and out very easy. Never had to worry about parking. Having filtered water pitcher in refrigerator was an excellent feature. Very close to everything but COVID restrictions kept is in the room more than we would have liked.

Property is at a great location. Parking is a bit expensive ($23 per day) but access to condo was great. We always parked in 4th floor, and the condo is a quick walk away.

Beautiful property centrally located to most downtown sights, including fine dining and shopping. Security often in the halls made us feel safe during the time we were out in the evening. Definitely recommend staying here to all who have the opportunity to travel to the big island!!
