This is a terrific rental for a large group. The common area/kitchen is huge. Great for cooking and hanging out. Easy walk into town or to the beach. The home is in very good condition with nice furniture and a good layout. Krisha (the manager) was available when we had a question.

the house was close to the beach, Very large kitchen
and nice size bedrooms.
The house layout was great with plenty of room for everyone to sit down and visit.
We loved sitting outside on the deck
The only down side was all the traffic in the road in front of the house. It woke up some of the family members early in the morning.

we had a wonderful family vacation at this property. the location is great - easy to walk to town and to the beach. my favorite part of this rental was the abundance of living space - there were plenty of zones to accommodate a large group with different interests. the indoor/outdoor space was also lovely. I would recommend more paper products and some candles or air fresheners in the house, but otherwise things were great. I understand having to get your own paper products if you will be using an unusual amount but the starter stash only lasted 2 days and the house was a a bit musty when you first walk in. It aired out once the doors were open! the house had everything we needed for a great stay and the bedrooms were very large.

We rented this home for a week during my son’s wedding and it was the perfect place for the 8 of us (all adults and could have had more with kids)and perfect for entertaining the friends and family who stopped by on their way to the beach across the street (easy and short so nearby). It has wonderful gathering spaces - the high ceilings and large lanais connecting the spacious kitchen and living areas were loved by all. Opening it all up with the massive wonderful wooden sliding doors was a daily treat. The kitchen was a joy to cook in, and was very well stocked. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable with clean and newly updated bathrooms. Everyone very much appreciated the air conditioning in the bedrooms. Krisha was very responsive when we had the only one issue with the shower in the master bath and had a plumber come out quickly. A part is on they way. There were plenty of chairs, umbrellas and other beach necessities. There is a bit of traffic noise at times because Aku is a busy street from town to the beach , but we would not hesitate to stay there again!

We loved our stay at Hanalei Bay. Loved the area and loced the house. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Lots of beach towels, chairs, boards, snorkel gear, etc . We loved the location. Just a short 2 min walk to the beach across the street. Short walk to the town of Hanalei. There were lots of food options and shopping rentals there. Only thing we didn't love was the busy street corner the house was on. Lots of loud beach traffic all day long. The nights were quiet though and we could hear the ocean. There is no ocean view from the house. The house was beautiful and very roomy for our group of 10. We had everything we needed and didn't have any issues. The rental company was great to help us get rental bikes. We would definitely recommend and hope to come back someday again!

The photos of this property do not do it justice. The house is beautiful and very thoughtfully designed. The kitchen/living/lanai areas flow seamlessly allowing great opportunities for a group to interact. The furnishings and housewares are beautiful and I have never experienced a better equipped kitchen in a rental.
The location of the house across from the beach pavilion is ideal - literally a two minute walk. Similarly, the grocery store, farmers market, restaurants and other shopping were just a few minutes away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house without reservation.

This house is honestly even better in person! It's so beautiful and the location is unbeatable!! We took the 3-4 min walk to Hanalei Bay beach every day. The beach was so beautiful and convenient we never went to any others. We had 5 kids ages 6-15 and they loved boogie boarding and playing in the sand. All the beach gear they keep at the house to use is so nice to have! A few minutes walk in the other direction is the cutest little town of Hanalei. Super quick and easy walk to restaurants, shops, farmers market, shave ice. The host was great and quick to respond to questions. Overall a fantastic vacation. We defiantly hope to stay again sometime!

This is an outstanding property that comfortably accommodated my large family. The house is spacious, well appointed with quality amenities, and in a perfect location, a short walk to the beach and to the restaurants and shops in Hanalei. All contacts and communications with the Property Manager were handled promptly and efficiently. It was an unqualified 5 star experience.

Wonderful location to walk to town or beach. The house was terrific and well stocked to accommodate 6 adults and two children 4 years old. We enjoyed the large open kitchen and living area. Eating out in the Lanai in the evenings was very pleasant. Would rent this house again.

10 of us in very spacious home. Bedrooms with A/C were a big bonus. Lanai was huge, we ate dinners outside most evenings even, at times, with rain. Kitchen very spacious with all the serving and cooking utensils you need. Generous with beach towels, chairs and cooler. We were ages 5-69. Love the location! Just 3 house walk to state park beach, short walk to Hanalei and Pinks ice cream. We did not experience any noise at night from either Weke or Aku roads. We will rent again if we have a large party

This house has everything. You can walk just a few short minutes to one of the most beautiful bay beaches in the world, restaurants, and for shopping. The views of the beautiful mountains and waterfalls is unsurpassed in the world. The house accommodated a family of ten easily. Krisha is a super host and we hope we will be able to come back to the Hanalei Bay house.

We love Kauai & decided to rent through VRBO for (3) nights in our favorite town of Hanalei. We walked in and immediately fell in love with the house. The house was charming with the perfect location. We wish we had rented for a longer stay and look forward to retuning to this exact property again.

Location can't be beat...great for the teenagers (or anyone) to walk into town, and even easier to get to beach.
Tons of space. The main area is wide open and expansive and room for cooking and socializing and relaxing. We were 11 and never felt crowded. Not that anyone needs a hot shower in Hawaii, but I was amazed that with 11 people taking a shower all at once, I never had a cold shower. Two washers is awesome when there are 3 families! Bedrooms were wonderful, with new ductless and very quiet AC (all bedrooms).
