Cute place for a good value. The A/C unit could use some work but overall the property was nice.

Close to everything. Not just beaches and restaurants but for activities also. Planning to back here again.

Located close to shops, restaurants, and beach (10 min walk) as stated in listing. Condo complex overall needs a good cleaning & facelift outdoors. Tile work outside had been done, but tile debris was everywhere, as if nothing had been swept up. Lots of plant debris, too, as if no one cares for parking areas or walkways. Inside, furnishings are ok, a bit worn. Lovely artwork, and sunset views are nice from the condo. **A/C unit is LOUD and needs to be serviced or replaced.** (We chose not to contact management about this issue, as we were on vacation, and did not want the disruptions.) Bare minimum kitchen…very generic dishes and pans, and we had to purchase coffee filters, spices, foil & dish soap, but other toiletries and paper goods were plentiful in this unit. Shower water pressure is good & Master Bath is spacious. No info for TV, and it kept freezing up on us. There are beach towels and two beach chairs for your use. Note: If you have anxiety about privacy, this ground floor condo isn’t for you…front door area is dark & hidden, there are large windows into both bathrooms (privacy glass, but when lit from within you can see silhouette from outside), and open to street on the outer perimeter (no fences, although complex does sit well above the street). People walked past our kitchen window on the condo grassy areas a few times during our stay (not on the main street), although I assume they were residents taking a shortcut. Overall it is a decent value for the cost, but expect a few quirks.

Loved the ability to take a daily walk up along the shore or main strip, to the shops. Perfectly located where it is not too far to be enjoyable as well as allowing you to "get your steps in!" Will add that the property itself, upon arrival, did has some dirty utensils/cups not put away and limited toiletries. These were available for purchase, however, at the local markets. First family vacation to this property and looking forward to future stays.

Quiet with lovely views; beautiful sunsets. Kitchen well stocked. Walk to A bay and beach. Close to area amenities. Enjoyed our time here.

We've stayed in several units at Vista Waikoloa. This was a favorite. The location was ideal and near the pool. Fabulous pool. Great location in general to serve as home base on the Big Island. Waikoloa Beach Resort is a beautiful planned community close to best Kohala beaches. Highly recommend snorkeling A Bay in the morning before the wind picks up for good turtle sightings. This unit has been renovated, is light and bright, and well stocked with kitchen needs. Loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all of the community amenities at Vista Waikoloa! The unit appeared to have been recently remodeled and was beautiful and immaculate throughout. My husband and I loved the master bedroom and bath, and our teenage sons loved the room and private bath they shared. We had been looking forward to our vacation on the Big Island for months, and this property was a wonderful "home base" while we were there.

This property is very clean and well decorated. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with everything you would need. The property and pool were wonderful and A-bay is a 10-15 minute walk, you can even see a glimpse of the ocean through the trees from the lanai. One word of caution - there are zero beach amenities (besides some beach towels), so we had to rent chairs, snorkeling gear, umbrella and cooler.
