Beautiful condo, great location. My family and I had a great stay here. It was clean and a beautiful place to stay with plenty for everyone to do. Only complaint is the stairs, there is an elevator but you still have to use some stairs to get to the unit.

Loved how close it was to beach. Thank you for the beach towels to use. Having a washer and dryer was more useful than we anticipated. Thank you. Door combo lock was flaky; usually didn’t open until second or third attempt. Very steep driveway and tight parking space.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this condo. The pool and hot tub are fantastic and the condo had enough beds for the 6th of us. The beds are comfortable and not overused, the kitchen has been updated, the showers have good water pressure, plenty of towels and linens.
I was happy to find a crock pot which is really useful for making dinner during the day while we're gone... Also the general manager and the night security lady were very friendly and helpful.

The unit's interior was as-listed, well-equipped, and in good condition. The grounds, including the swimming pool, sauna, and bbq gazebo, were in good condition and as-listed.
However, the property was incorrectly advertised as having 2 on-site tennis courts. The tennis courts had in fact been demolished many months ago and their re-construction had been stopped for some project delays. We discovered this after booking.
The property was relatively quiet during the day and the other guests honored the after-hours quiet time very well.
Property is immediately across the street to Magic Sands Beach, which is convenient if that's your thing, but brings extra vehicular traffic along Alii Drive - not the place for a quiet stroll. Otherwise, location is convenient to many spots up and down Alii Drive. You can't really see the beach from the lanai, but that's consistent with the advertised listing.
Parking stalls are tight for larger cars.
Property management staff was responsive when we called them.
Unit is stocked with some basic beach items (umbrella, chairs, etc), which was nice.
Overall, the property was a good value and we enjoyed our stay there.

Door combo lock is very convenient, no way to lose keys.
Proximity to White Sands beach is what makes these condos invaluable.
Very clean condo with body boards, etc. Comfortable beds. Highly recommend.
Note: There are still ridiculous covid rules posted like reserving barbecues, limit of four people in the pool, etc. Luckily everyone was ignoring these unscientific rules during our stay.

Highly recommend staying at White Sands Village. It is right across from White Sands Beach, and is conveniently located near all the sights of Kona-Kailua area. Pool area and BBQ were very nice and not crowded at all. Condo was clean and very enjoyable. No issues at all with the condo. Great place to stay!!

The process of renting was super easy and check in was great. There are some parts that are a little dated but overall it was a great condo to stay in. The residents are a little bit older and are sticklers about the pool rules! 🤣. We had a great time!

We have experiences to stay at WSV cond several times. The property is a bit old and we need to use stairs to get to the unit (there is 7-8 steps even we use elevator—a little tough to bring in the luggage), but it is well maintained and enough comfortable to stay. It is also nice they have beach items and toys in the unit. We enjoyed our stay there.

The unit I stayed in had lots of room, great to have a/c and the complex is large enough that two other parties in my family stayed close by.

We enjoyed the stay here. The location was great, near the beautiful magic sand beach and kids enjoyed the pool and the beach. The kitchen and rooms were nice. The sand was on the kitchen floor but other than that it was pretty neat and clean.

Property worked well for us. The "beach closet" did have a folding beach umbrella (super needed), beach chairs, snorkel gear, 2 body boards and pool noodles. Magic Sands beach is literally across the street where you can watch the sunset from the beach. There are a lot of stairs to climb to the floors. Carport is the 1st floor. However, there is an elevator nearby, not super close to this unit. I would recommend this location again!!

Nice condo overall. Plenty of towels, kitchenware provided. The unit was clean and having a washer/dryer onsite was helpful. Note for those with stair issues, this unit is on the second floor but you do need to go up 2 sets of stairs as the parking is on the ground floor. There is an elevator but there are still stairs from the elevator to get to this particular unit.

We had to rearrange travel & every one was very responsive & helpful going above & beyond. The location is Right across the street from one of the really good beaches in Kona. We could could not have asked for more. The condo have everything we needed including snorkel gear and blue board we left a couple more. The condo itself is a little bit older but you can see that they’re updating it a little of the time and it was perfect for our needs I have a family of four, spacet thank you so very much

This property was a lot closer to the beach than I’d anticipated (it’s right on the beach) and the beach turned out to be one of our favorites. The place was clean and the company very responsive. The pool and hot tub on the property were very nice. Would highly recommend this place for those needing a cost-efficient way to travel in a group.

I booked this location because they were located next to the beach and listed a pool as amenity. What’s not listed until you book is the pool is for older kids only*** I have 1.5 year old and book this location in case my son didn’t like the beach (which he didn’t) we went to the pool only to find out anyone in swim diapers are not allowed into the swimming pool. The staff gave us a collapsible DOG POOL and told us to fill it up with the cold water from the hose and gave us a bucket to haul over from the jacuzzi to warm up the water. I would’ve not booked this lodging had I known toddlers/ babies aren’t allowed in the pool.
I paid a lot of money for lodging to find out babies and toddlers are not allowed in the pool and to have to fill up our our dog pool with water. Such a disappointment, I will never stay here again!

We had an extended stay at #223. Over a month. This location is best on the island and the property amenities cannot be beat. We've stayed in numerous units at White Sands, and while this was not the best, it was also not the worst. It would benefit from a thorough cleaning, there are some obvious things that are being missed in the routine cleaning process, scuffs on the walls, dirty switch plates. It also needs some basic things, I had to pick up bathmats, a spatula - lots of utensils, but no spatula, the range hood doesn't work, so it gets very hot when cooking. One of the sliders is very hard to open, there was only one dish towel. We picked up a britta to save on water bottles, but all an all, it is a serviceable unit and nothing beats the location.

This is my first time in a VRBO, I’ll never stay in a hotel in Hawaii ever again. This is too easy to perfect the kitchen was fantastic the use of a washer and dryer everything was just perfect I’ve spent too long wasting money by staying in a hotel it’ll never happen again

This rental was great it had everything we needed. Bogey boards, tennis rackets and it even had a cooler that we used to go to the beach that came in very handy . Having to young boys all these things came in very useful on our trip. It was absolutely spotless when we showed up and had tons of dishes and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful, clean, quiet stay at the beach! Unit #223 at White Sands Village Kailua-Kona, Hawaii is a great place to stay. First the negative: a bit of peeling paint, a lanai that needs a bit of love and too much/wrong types of living room furniture. The good: the kitchen is modern, well stocked with a good dishwasher, ample storage and all of the kitchen tools needed for meal prep. The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit offers comfortable beds , clean bathrooms and washer and dryer work. A shower grab bar and a rug or two for the lanai could be added for safety. During our stay, we had 2 nights of heavy rain, great to experience on the lanai. This unit offers a slot water view and a nice back country view. The pool is great, the wonderful Magic Sands Beach is across the road, and this well managed complex is close to restaurants, parks and highways. The bus stops in front of the complex on a regular schedule. Hope that we can make White Sands Village a regular vacation choice. Mahalo.
