What an amazing home! We were thrilled to spend 12 days in this fantastic residence. Great location, spotlessly clean, well appointed and flat-out beautiful views. Our contact Gabbie was very helpful and pleasant. She met us upon arrival, giving us a quick but thorough overview of the home and we were sitting by the pool taking in the breathtaking views in no time. It was as if we had our own high-end resort. I would definitely love to come back to this beautiful home again.

Our family rented this beautiful home for 2 weeks. The views are incredible and the home is very nice and comfortable. It is well stocked and appointed. The beds were very comfortable as was the furniture. The huge lanai offers lots of seating with a poolside and 180 degree ocean view. This was the most wonderful house! Waking up to a beautiful view of the ocean every day was heaven. The primary bedroom and bathroom were phenomenal. The pool and hot tub were amazing and the temperature in them was perfect all week. We hardly left the house. Was definitely the most relaxing vacation, even with a 4 and 7 year old. Working with Adriana was exceptional. She was helpful and professional. She gave us the name of a personal shopper for groceries before we got there. Was so helpful!!

This home is fabulous in every way. The location is perfect..close to town, shopping, and activities but nestled in a quiet private community. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need and is roomy and totally updated. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The lanai allows places for dining, relaxing, or gathering for conversation. It’s huge! And the pool is beautiful. The views from the lanai are photo-worthy at every time of day. You could enjoy a week at this home without ever leaving it. Adriana was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. She answered my questions in a timely fashion, stopped by to greet us, and could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. First thing you need to know about this place is that every evening you have an amazing view of the sunset right from the pool or lanai. My wife and I brought our three children and my parents and there was plenty of room for everyone. All the basic supplies were plentiful (paper towels, tp, detergent,cleaning supplies). Kitchen has everything you need to make some great meals. The neighborhood is great. All high end houses, guard house. Very secure. We could live here, no problem. The view is stunning, house is great. There are a lot of stairs, which was the only complaint from my 70+ year old parents, but no one else seemed to mind. If you are looking for an amazing rental in Kona this is it. Ten minutes from Ali'i Drive which is the main "boardwalk" along the ocean with shops and plenty of places to eat. A couple hours from the volcano. Can't say enough about how great this place is. Highly recommend. Communication with Adraina and Yuki was great. Quick response if an issue came up or we needed a recommendation on a place to eat after we landed.

We decided to all stay together ...grandparents, children and grandchildren for 2 weeks for a rare opportunity to rest, enjoy each others company and do "whatever you want to do" for our first time on the big island, volcano or no volcano ! . The house was beautiful, very well kept, manicured garden, lovely pool just the right size, adjacent hot tub etc. Every little detail was available so you didnt have to worry eg paper towels, batteries, toilet paper, extra towels, sheets, shampoo etc. A custom made binder with a guide to local activities etc has been made up by the home owner. The neighborhood is gated, VERY quiet and serene with lovely high end homes built about 20 years ago. Great place to take walks in the mornings. The VIEW is incredible from the Lanai, very relaxing. Actually the BEST thing about the property was the SUPPORT provided by Ms. Yuki L. the property manager. She was extremely kind and exceptionally available whenever there were any issues. Her efforts made the difference between a good stay and an exceptional stay despite the usual things that happen in the maintenance of a large luxury home. We are very grateful to her and she would be a major reason to return again in the future. We attended many of the local classic activities eg beach, diving, snorkling, manta rays, restaurants, on the West side and went up into Waimea three times to visit cooler climates and different ecology. The kitchen was amazing and we are a family of foodies. Nearby groceries were easy to manage. This saved a lot on eating out. A very central yet high quality location for the Big Island. However many of our best memories will likely be playing with grandchildren in the pool... Our sincere thanks to the owner and Yuki for being such good hosts. This property has now set the bar for all future experience in Hawaii !

The home, as others have written, was better than the pictures. It is very large with many areas to congregate. The lanai is huge with two separate areas and we only ate inside once during a thunderstorm. The views were great and better than being closer to the ocean. The golf course below was closed, so the lanai/pool area was very private. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows in a closet, if you like more than one. The master bedroom is gigantic and three other bedrooms are two floors up.Only negatives were that the dishwasher currently has an electrical short where it zaps you when loading. There is a recall on Bosch electrical cords that needs to be dealt with and we told our representative about that. There were probably 8 or more ceiling lights that were burnt out. With a large group of 8 adults, it would have been nice if we could have used the two beverage refrigerators that were shut off at the fuse box with a label not to turn on. Electricity is expensive in Hawaii but you should be able to use everything in the home when paying $800/night, if that was the concern.We didn’t need to turn on the air conditioning, as the night temperature was comfortable.Overall, it was a great experience but don’t party outside after 10 PM, or the neighbors will call security as they did one night.

Our stay was perfect. We travelled our 3 adult children and my MIL. There was plenty of space for us all. The house was bigger than what we had pictured and the furnishings were all well taken care of. The boys spent every day in the pool and we spent many nights next to the pool playing card games. The house is close to kayaking and other water sports at Neahou Bay. It is a short drive to a grocery store. The house has a grill, which we used for BBQing. The home is relaxing, inviting and allows for space for everyone. There were some A/C issues which were dealt with promptly (Thank you Yuki and Dennis). I would highly recommend this wonderful home and hope to return one day.

We had an amazing time in Hawaii for several reason and this home was for sure on that list. From the opening greeting to checkout we appreciated the very clean and well furnished home with spectacular views. We used this as our home base as we traveled to all parts of the island. If you want to see all Hawaii has to offer you are out of position wherever you stay. This location is close to restaurants and shopping. Many beaches are close by and some of the best beaches on the island are 30 min or less drive. The valleys and volcano are 90 minutes scenic drives. When we come back we will stay here.

Our stay at the Keauhou Lani property was nothing short of amazing. The property description was extremely accurate, the pictures don't do this elegant home justice. Functional floor plan with lots of space, beautifully decorated. Great art pieces. AC only in bedrooms, rest of the house can get warm but the trade winds help with air flow. The ocean and landscape views alone are worth staying at this property. Overall the property was clean and well maintained, however a few maintenance issues should be addressed, carpet needs to be cleaned, freezer does not hold temperature, and good pest control application is needed (ants in the upstairs bedroom and foyer area), cleaning service needs a boost, bathrooms and toilets soiled in spots, hair found in bed linen. If these items are addressed and fixed, the house would be perfect in my opinion. Our property manager Adriana was friendly, responsive, and professional. We had to extend our stay due to a flight change on departure and Adriana was very responsive and flexible with our check out time. Property is nestled in a great gated community with close proximity to downtown Kona, shops, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy if needed. We had a private chef (Chef William)facilitate a dinner party for us for our wedding anniversary. Chef William and Kayla, our server were the best, food and experience was exceptional, would highly recommend. Can't say enough about the overall experience, would stay at this property again and again, you can't beat the sunsets off the pool deck and lanai, picture perfect!! Pool and spa well maintained, heated appropriately and a prefect place to unwind, relax, and have fun with the kids!! Thanks for the wonderful experience. Kudos to LUVA!!

We were really happy with this home. It is beautiful and has been meticulously maintained. The location is great. The kitchen is a dream. It is stocked with every spice, appliance, and cookware that you need. The pool is lovely. We had a few issues heating the hot tub, but it was no big deal. Make sure you listen to Dennis' instructions. The Lanai closet has everything you need for the beach. The views are beautiful. The guard-gated community is pleasant and safe. The rental company was very easy to work with. The front door was giving us problems. Dennis and his wife immediately came and fixed it. They exhibited the epitome of the Aloha spirit. Every sunset was cinematic. You may make plans to travel all over the island, but you will likely end up spending most of your time at the house. My biggest complaint is that we weren't able to stay longer! Bottom line: If you are looking for a high-end home in Kona and you don't mind being about two minutes away from the beach, this is a great choice.

My family and I stayed a week at this home. We were two couples plus my husband and I with our 9 month old baby. The layout of the house worked very well for us. We sort of had separate areas of the house with our own bathrooms. The back side of the house has a wrap around lanai where we spent most of our time. The pool was nice with a spectacular view down to the ocean. The pool is mostly very deep - it quickly drops to over 5 feet so probably not as good for small kids. Also, there are a lot of stairs - about two flights to get to the main level of the house. This wasn't an issue for us but would be a problem for those with limited mobility.
We used the kitchen a lot, cooking breakfast every morning and several dinners. The kitchen is well stocked with all utensils, etc. and pantry staples like spices. The house was also stocked with laundry detergent and toiletries in the bathrooms (ie. shampoo, conditioner, body wash), which was a nice touch. There are also pool and beach toys, chairs, and some snorkel gear which was great to bring to the various local beaches with us.
The property is in a gated community about a 5 minute drive from a shopping center with a nice grocery store and a couple restaurants. It was great to be so close to the grocery store so we could run out and pick up food and beer. The house is a 15 minute drive from the town of Kailua-Kona, which has many restaurants and touristy shops. Toward the end of the trip we discovered the little art town of Holualoa which is a 15 minute drive "inland." Highly recommend checking it out. The house is about 2 hours from Volcano National Park on a super curvy road with lots of good pitstops along the way. It is about 25 minutes from the Kona Airport.
The property manager Yuki was very friendly and accommodating. Overall this is a wonderful property for those looking to have a good jumping off point to see various parts of the Big Island. We had a fabulous time and absolutely loved our vacation.

My friends and I (seven guests) were in awe of our experience of staying at Keauhou Lani. The home is magnificently situated in Keauhou Estates and affords one an extraordinary, unimpeded view of the Keauhou area, Kona and the fantastically blue Pacific. The Lanai, pool and grounds as well as the incredible home itself offer a most inviting and luxurious stay. The beds are so comfortable and the home is equipped with everything. Family vacation, all adults. We have stayed in some of the loveliest hotels and resorts in the US, Asia, Africa and Europe, but this home ranks as one of the most outstanding. Despite a full agenda of planned day trips and adventures, on several occasions, we decided to stay home, enjoy the pool, spa and unobstructed view of the Ocean from the patio on the hill. The home was in impeccable shape, extremely clean and the rental agent greeted us upon arrival , went over everything and made themselves available for any questions. We had a lovely week in this fabulous home. My husband and I were joined by our two adult children, their spouses, and a 1 yr old granddaughter. There was ample room to spread out inside and out. We spent most of our time while at the house on the beautiful lanais and in the pool/hot-tub. The house was well appointed, having everything we needed for relaxing, cooking, and sightseeing, including snorkel gear and boogie boards. The view was spectacular and we were able to spot many whales and dolphins as well as pleasure and fishing boats, surfers, kayaks and long boats. And a perfect place to watch the sunset! We have been to Kona many times because we love the town and the weather. This home goes to the top of the list of great places to stay. Thanks to the owners, and to property manager Dennis and realtor Yuki for all their help in making it a wonderful family vacation! Only thing that could have made it better was if we could have stayed longer!

The only thing I regret is how much time we spent debating over booking this place. This was the most amazing stay in Kona we have ever had - the property is beyond expectations (the place is actually BETTER than the pictures). Obviously no detail was spared in building this lovely (and large) home, and the current owners keep it immaculate. When someone asks me to close my eyes and "think of paradise" - I will now forever be taken to coffee on this lanai in the morning, or my feet dangling on the edge of the infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Sigh.
Now you might fall into one of two categories:
Category 1 - you are going to book a home in Kona for this price range anyway. If that is the case, please look no further. You found your home, I hope your dates are available for you. Thank me later.
Category 2 - this might be a bit above your budget. If that is the case, still book this place. But let me help give you a little more reasoning, because this was where we were. First off, you will, hands down, go out WAY less. Not because you feel like you can't - but because you won't want to. You really won't. There is no better spot in Kona than the back lanai at this house, the grill provided is exceptional, and you'll make stronger drinks than any bartender anyway (possibly with the exception of Kona Canoe Club mai tai's). The house is so well stocked, from condiments, to the most lavish shampoo/conditioner/shower gel (and lots of it), to snorkel gear, a band-aid or Advil if you need it, your going to save a boat load on those "little" things they have already thought about before you will. After many years of 2-week Kona vacations, I know this first hand.
The downstairs master is something I might only equate to perhaps a Four Seasons, and it's actually better than that (which leads me to a Category 3 - stay here instead). My family will forever remember and cherish our time at this "Kona palace." I'm not a stranger to luxury accommodations either (in case you wondering if you needed any qualifiers here) and this absolutely topped my list. Hand down. #1 - and that's a big virtual trophy to carry.
Yuki and the Luva Real Estate team will take such good care of you - if I could give them 10 stars - I would! Amazing house. Amazing location. Amazing service. Have fun :-).

Our family of four (kids 14 & 12) rented this beautiful home for our first trip to Hawaii over the recent July 4th weekend. The home exceeded our expectations. It was in tip-top shape, conveniently located about 25 mins. south of Kona airport. It was in a gated community overlooking the Kona Golf Club course (was told beforehand the course was in between ownership transition and thus unavailable) and the Ocean. Less than five minutes drive to a # of restaurants/shops/supermarket, and about a 5-7 min. drive to a beach with great snorkeling and paddle-boarding. Home was very spacious (4000+ sq. ft) over 3 levels, so LOTs of privacy between Masters bedroom (lower level) and the other three bedrooms (Level 3). The middle level is the main area (den, kitchen, HUGE Lanai's overlooking ocean, pool). Entire back and side of home have sliding doors that open - great breeze and almost guaranteed gorgeous sunset view each evening! Kitchen fully stocked for cooking, beach towels, cooler, etc. all available for guests to use.
Bottom line, with two teenagers traveling with us, we always rent now (want/need space) vs. previously always staying at 5-star resorts. I can't imagine any of the resort places being better than this home. Offers great value. And the real estate/rental agency was of great help in assisting us with trip ideas prior to our arrival. All-in-all, a great experience and we look forward to staying again!

My family is from Kona and we have stayed in several houses over the years and this is by far the nicest house we have stayed at. The location is perfect because it is close to shopping, snorkeling and the beach. The view is absolutely amazing and the quality of the house is first class. Yuki and the property team was great and very supportive. We cannot wait to stay here again next year!
