We loved our stay! We planned to eat most meals at the condo and found the kitchen to be adequately stocked with what was needed! The provided beach gear was so convenient and appreciated . The beach is within walking distance and a very nice beach too! Shops within walking distance as well!

The property was clean and had everything we needed for an amazing stay. Two different pool's with nice lounge, dinning areas and bbq's made it easy to make a meal while the kids enjoyed the pool or hot tub. The beautiful beach was just a short walk across the street and the condo provided everything you need to enjoy the beach. The condo is also close to lots of restaurant's and shops. I would highly recommend this property and we will be booking again for our next stay.

We arrived 5 days after the 2023 August fires on the West side of Maui. We were in Oahu prior. We debated flying over due to the tragedy - but ultimately decided to go to Maui and be respectful of the situation.
Andrew was extremely informative of the situation on the island which allowed us to make a more informed decision. Once we arrived, the process was very simple, as the directions and information provided to us was easily understandable and also very accurate (check in, parking, etc)
The unit was clean and had multiple balconies. The two full bathrooms was a great plus. My two daughters stayed in one bedroom, my son slept on a blow up mattress and my wife and I stayed in the main bedroom. Washer/Dryer worked great - we washed all of our clothes from our Oahu trip.
Parking was excellent - right out the front door and up two flights of stairs.
Beach is right across the street and location of condo is right in the middle between the high end resorts and shopping, restaurants. A couple of miles either way.
Would highly recommend this condo for a stay in Maui. Fits a family of 5 perfectly fine. Thanks Andrew!

Andrew’s condo in Kihei was exactly as pictured. There was plenty of room for our family of 5, which included our 3 teen daughters who had their separate bedroom and bathroom. The unit was clean and had all the necessities and more! I loved all the beach gear at the unit and having AC is a definite plus. Andrew was very communicative and detailed about the check in process.

Our family (5 adults) spent a wonderful week in Andrew’s condo in Kihei in April 2023. The appartment is gorgeous and very well equipped with everything you need to fill the needs of a whole family, whether adults or kids. It’s very quiet and well located with a fantastic beach just across the street.
The kitchen is absolutely complete and the bedrooms very comfortable.
Communication with Andrew was outstanding from the beginning and we kept in touch even during our stay. Checkin process was very easy.
In summary, we highly recommend Andrew’s condo for a wonderful stay in the Kihei area.

Our party included myself, my husband, our grandson, daughter and son-in-law. Our stay was excellent. The location on this property is great. The beds were okay for our group, but we all found them a bit too soft. My family likes firmer mattresses.
The beach is a short walk and the sunsets are amazing!

This place was great. There was six of us and we had plenty of space. The cooler, wagon, umbrella, chairs and boogie board was such a perk. We would walk down to the beach every night with the wagon. Made it so easy to visit the beach across the street. Easy to follow the check in and out instructions and owner was very responsive when I had questions. Also loved their recommendations! Would stay here again and have already referred others!

We loved our stay at Maui Banyon! Andrew was an excellent host ! He got back to us right away when I had any questions . The condo was very clean , and was exactly as advertised . There was everything we needed and more . Kitchen had all the amenities we needed, there was a nice selection of books to read , extra pillows, sheets , laundry detergent , dish soap , vacuum, broom ( nice to sweep up any sand after a day at the beach ). There were 6 of us and we had lots of room. It’s a very short walk to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants . I would definitely recommend this property and host !!

A great space that met all of our needs. The condo is equipped with all the basics, and the beach equipment (multiple chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, beach towels, boogie boards, a hard-sided wheeled cooler, and a wagon to tote it all) was much appreciated! Kam 2 beach and snorkeling is right across the street, restaurants and shops are within walking distance, there is covered garage parking, a/c in all the spaces and a washer and dryer. The location was ideal for reaching the best snorkeling beaches.
Both bedrooms are separated by the living/DR/kitchen so there was much appreciated privacy. Beds are super comfy! If you are a light sleeper you might want to bring eye shades...there is some direct sun in the morning in June and the drapes are not black out. Both bedrooms face the same direction (I was a little uncertain about this from the photos) and the second bedroom has its own sweet lanai. The master, as other reviewers have noted, is separated from the LR by sliding doors with frosted glass windows. The owners have installed a roll-down shade so the bedroom is visually private. You will, however, see some light through the window at night if the lights are on in the LR since the shade is a light color and not black out, but it is not a deal breaker by any means. Don't let this deter you. The closets had plenty of hangers and there is a safe in the master closet.
The top floor location was appreciated- no noise from above. We loved the lanai and views from it. It's on the narrow side, however, and getting around the dining table when someone is sitting there was inconvenient. No fault of the owners of course, and it was nice to have a big table outside for meals.
Finally, everything was clean, clean, clean- and I'm a stickler for that.
Andrew was super easy to communicate with and very responsive. We look forward to returning.

We loved renting this unit! It had a great location and my kids enjoyed the pool. The only negative experience was that there was an older gentleman that resides there that enjoyed being a warden at the pool. He frequently made complaints over things that our family as well as others deemed trivial- quiet Hawaiian music playing while we grilled, etc.

We also liked that there were two full-beds (instead of twin size) in the second bedroom. Our favorite restaurants were close by. We love Maui and would return again to this condo. This property location is great. It is centrally located to plenty of places to eat and very walkable. It is across the street from the beach which was great for sunset picnics. Being on the 4th floor provides ocean and mountain views. The unit was very clean. The host promptly responded to all my messages, which was very much appreciated. Awesome location that is central to all that is Maui and right across the street from a couple of the best Maui beaches. We had an amazing stay in Maui! We highly recommend this very clean and nicely remodeled condo. In my opinion, the Maui Banyan is the best location to stay on the island. It is right across from the beach and is in a great location to get anywhere on the island. Also, you can walk easily to restaurants and shops. The condo is well appointed and has everything you can possibly need. The beds and furniture were all comfortable as well. The owners were very accommodating and helpful during our entire stay. Our family enjoyed our vacation time in Kihei with many comforts of home and perks of an awesome condo community and excellent location.
The kitchen has all you need and more for preparing and cooking meals. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms allowed for some privacy and the the living area and kitchen made community time easily possible.
The bedroom with 2 double sized beds has a lovely bathroom with separate sink area which was very practical. this room also has a private lanai/deck which was a sweet detail.
The master bedroom has a large king bed. This room has sliding doors which are somewhat transparent, so if you want a dark area for sleep, it's a little tricky. The bed has a very thick mattress topper which is sooooooo soft, and makes the bed really high. We prefer a harder bed, and I'm a little short so I had to practice my high jump to get onto the bed. If you're tall and like a soft bed, you'll love it.
There are 3 separate ACs. this was really nice, as we could sool the areas that needed cooling and conserve electricity and energy in spaces that did not need it. We're big fans of Planet Earth so we were happy to be able to modulate energy use.
There are also three TVs. 3 TVs. We only ever turned on one, but it was cool that there three. There is cable on all 3. I recommend you bring your own firestick/appletv/roku with you if you want to watch your own streamed shows.
The lanai was amazing. The sunsets and sunrise were out of control. Like amazing. Ocean views for sun set. Sounds of the morning bird in the morning. View of the tennis courts. And the ocean fun supplies were all you could hope for. 2 boogie boards, a beach umbrella, 4 beach chairs, snorkel gear galore and an awesome cart to carry it all to the beach. We nicknamed the cart the POG cart (passion/orange/guava) because the cart brought us so much joy.
You can walk to almost everything you want, 2 pools, tennis courts, 3 cool beaches, coffee, shave ice. However it's also a short drive to shopping, restaurants, more shave ice, and all the amazing things Maui has to offer. well situated location

We were pleasantly surprised as to how large this unit is. We traveled with our 4 children, ages 4, 6, 7, and 10. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep. This condo had everything we needed for the beach (wagon, cooler, chairs, umbrella). We love Kamaole Beach II across the street. Parking at the condo was super easy and convenient, there is a loading zone right outside the elevator. We would unload all of our stuff and kids, then my husband would park in the garage. We never needed to use the AC. We would sleep with the sliding doors open and have the ceiling fans on. There is also lots of dining options nearby in walking distance. The pool was not as big as it looked in the pictures, but my kids had fun using it everyday. I love how responsive the owner is. I asked a question the morning of our flight, and Andrew messaged me right away. We will definitely be staying at this unit again!! Thank you for the lovely accommodations! Mahalo!

Andrew and Cynthia’s condo was wonderful! Impeccably clean and full of extra amenities. We traveled with our teenage granddaughters, so the 2nd bathroom was a wonderful bonus.
We had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and for the beach.
The location across from Kamaole Beach II was perfect. As well as all the shops and restaurants, all within walking distance.

Spent a week in this unit and it was great for our family of five with three teens/preteens.
The owner was responsive when needed.
One of the better equipped condos we’ve stayed in. Plenty of beach towels and chairs and snorkeling gear, with a cooler and beach wagon to take all your stuff in.
Air conditioning worked great when needed, but that was seldom.
Only two things we would note to be aware of are screen doors to the decks that need a little adjusting, and the pocket doors that close off the master bedroom have glass in them, they are not solid doors. So the master bedroom is only semi-private. ;)
Otherwise, everything here was great. Recommended!

Our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers stayed here in June. The kids loved having their own space and bathroom. The condo is exactly as described in the listing. It is beautifully updated, and believe me has everything you will need from the kitchen, to snorkeling gear, boogie board, beach chairs, beach umbrella and a wagon to get everything to the beach across the street so you don't have to carry it. The beds are so comfortable, don't think I've slept that good in awhile. The ceiling fans are great at night to keep you cool. When you get on the elevator upon arrival, make sure you push the 3rd floor as it took us a couple tries to figure this out, even though the condo is on the 4th floor. The owners communication is awesome, they give you all the information you need for your stay. They also provide information about restaurants and activities in the area. I would HIGHLY recommend this condo and will stay here again in the future.
