This was a great property and a wonderful host family. Excellent communication with the host. Excellent amenities at this property. Excellent local support. We locked ourselves out and the local host had us in in 5 minutes. Very prompt service locally and by the property owner. They had everything available to go to the beach: chairs, umbrellas, towels, boards, etc. Just a great overall experience.

We swam, talked, laughed, at WAY too much, and just enjoyed the time together. The condo accommodated us perfectly and was easy to use. Our only issue was that we could not get the ice maker to make ice… so we just bought bags at the grocery. Thanks for letting us share you island home.

We found the condo to be everything that we needed for a great vacation. The accommodations were as advertised, and fully met our expectations. The kitchen had all the tools for us to cook our fresh caught mahi mahi. Being close to the pool and having a somewhat private beach with good snorkeling was a plus. We will not hesitate to recommend this condo and will use it next time

First off this house is beautiful. The view is easily one of the best out of the entire community. Everything in this home is high end and it is obivous no short cuts were taken.
The community pools was lovely and we enjoyed it thoroughly.
The house was stocked better than any other home we have ever rented. They had everything you would need for the beach as well as anything you could possibly need during your stay.
We did rent an electric golf cart. We should of shared this with the owner beforehand as we did not have access to their garage...I didn't realize that was going to be the case...so it was a little tricky to charge the golf cart since there was not an outlet close enough to the street to charge it. The grounds people ended up helping us out so we could charge it at the pool house nightly.
We would definitely come back. We had a great time, and the house was perfect!!

This house provided EVERYTHING that we needed to guarantee an amazing stay on the island! It was absolutely spotless, the kitchen was well equipped with everything we could possibly need, linens and furniture were comfortable, communication with the owner as well as Bennet, the concierge, was excellent. We enjoyed having access to the Mauna Lani beach and went there every evening after our sightseeing for the day, and watched the sunset each evening. There was a closet full of all the things we needed to take to the beach - coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, snorkeling equipment and boogie boards. Honestly, in all our years of traveling and staying with VRBO rentals, this one provided the most for our reservation. I truly hope to return to the big island one day and that the Millers will allow us to stay in their beautiful home again. Majalo!

Wish we could’ve stayed longer at this beautiful home. Lots of room to spread out. A well-equipped kitchen; we ate dinner out on the lanai most nights. Pool and beach. We really appreciated the towels, cooler and those frozen blocks to keep things cold.
We only had one issue: the internet never worked. This meant we had to drive to the nearest Starbucks to hang out while my son got some work done.

We had a great stay at this Golf Villa in Mauna Lani. The fantastic secluded pool and hot tub are just a few steps from the font door. The private beach is a short 5 min drive. Shops, restaurants, and grocery options are all nearby at either Mauna Lani or Waikoloa. The property itself and surrounding grounds are impeccably kept, the villa is very nice with modern appliances, stocked with everything a group or family would need for a comfortable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with 3 adults and 3 teenagers.

This property was well equipped and met every need for our week in Hawaii. There were plenty of comfortable beds for our party of eight, the appliances and BBQ grill were awesome, and the location was fantastic. The Mauna Lani Beach pass was appreciated because we could park close to the beach and had access to the chairs and cabanas there. The beach supply closet under the stairs had everything from towels, umbrellas, and chairs to coolers, body surfboards, and balls. The kitchen not only had pots and large bowls, but also spices, ziplock bags, and storage containers. It was a comfortable home base for our group. If I complain about anything, it’s only two minor things that I can look past: meeting with Bennett upon arrival was awkward and unnecessary, and the shower heads in the master bathroom were not my favorite. Otherwise, this place was absolutely ideal!

We had a really nice time at this condo. We liked how spacious it is and it is in very good condition. There are a number of beach accessories for guest use which came in handy. The kitchen had plenty of items for cooking and the beds were comfortable. The beach club area is a bit crowded during the holiday time, but there are other very nice beaches within easy driving distance.

This was a great rental with all the thoughtful accouterments for a perfect stay. We stayed for a week and enjoyed cooking in the fully supplied kitchen, going to the beautiful nearby private beach club, swimming in the lovely, clean pool just across the street and relaxing on the lanai. The house was clean and accommodating. The concierge, Bennett, was an amazing resource for local information and recommendations, he was very responsive when we had questions, helpful, kind and thoroughly enjoyable. We would stay again.

We just stated this property for a week. This house was perfect for 2 families with 3 kids. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was one of my favorites that I've stayed at. We really appreciated the house being fully stocked with kitchen supplies and extras like salt and pepper and oil. Even the bathrooms had extras in case you forgot something. Plenty of fun beach beach toys, snorkel gear and chairs. Having access to the private beach club was a highlight and some of the best snorkling I've done. Karen and her team were easy to work with and we would definitely rent with them again!

Words can not describe this property. It is stunning. Set in an amazing location, the property itself is wonderful. Very clean and well maintained, with everything a family of five could want and more. Karen was responsive throughout the booking process and we were met by Nancy who looks after the property who spent a good deal of time with us explaining how everything worked and suggesting things to do and places to go. We have stayed in many properties all over the world, but without a doubt, this has been the best.

The property was clean, well equipped and furnished. Lots of beach accessories which the kids really enjoyed. Access to the beach club is a major plus, but we really enjoyed the proximity to the black sand beach as well. Karen was quick to reply any time we had any inquiries. The villa was perfect for our family of 5. From the pictures we had visions of enjoying some quiet on the lanai off the master bedroom, but busy kids kept us from having much of that! Would definitely come back here again.

This is a very nice house. It is furnished tastefully and well equipped for the beach. It accommodated five adults and an infant very well. It is super close to a nice community pool. Appreciated that there was some basic kitchen food/spice items to use. The access to the beach is outstanding! If you were looking for a comfortable home in a very well-kept resort area this is a place for you. I was also impressed at how quiet the area was. Appreciated the responsiveness of the host, At the home and around the resort area you’ll get the true feel of the big island as there is a lot of lava in the surroundings-very much like many places on the island. I found that sleeping in the kids room that the beds were unsuitable for an adult as they’re way too soft. We used the fans a lot and found that the fan was noisy in the master bedroom which I’m sure could be easily remedied. Another thing that we found personally objectionable was the video camera on the back patio. We felt that was intrusive. Just an FYI if case anybody else would care about such a thing. We enjoyed our stay of 10 days except that the air conditioning malfunctioned for several hours during the night on several nights making sleeping difficult. When we asked for help from the property manager he ignored us and then became rude. We were also locked out of the beach for 4 days because the property manager could not or would not replace our misplaced beach pass (even though we paid for a replacement). Otherwise the property was very nice.

We have stayed in various hotels and condos in the Mauna Lani area.
This condo was by far the very best.
Karen has provided everything a vacationer could want. The kitchen is up to date and well stocked with cookery and many extras. A beautiful new stove and fridge. Lots of space around the dining room, kitchen bar and Lani. Two lovely sitting areas and the lani provide more than ample visiting space.
The beds are all very comfortable. 3 bathrooms with showers provide a lot of personal space for showers and getting ready. The pool is slightly heated and takes off the chill of hitting cold water on a hot day.
The private beach club has both safe swimming and snokelling. We went there and to Black Sand Beach, both in a 5 minute drive.
Foodland was a good shopping option nearby and the new Safeway in Kona was a great place to stock up on groceries. We enjoyed dinners at Tommy Bahammas, Napu restaurant - both nearby. Then other times we went to Lava Lava Beach Club and A Beach Restaurant.
The family went to the volcano as a group and hiked the crater then stayed to watch the lava and stars at Kilauea. Another day a group went to swim with the Manta Rays.
Both experiences can only be found on this island.
We all hated to leave this oasis of sun, ocean and warm Hawaiian breezes. We will be back.

The house is absolutely wonderful. The area and all it has to offer is beyond spectacular. The landscape is gorgeous and all of the beaches in the area were nothing short of a tropical paradise of perfection. The owners were very attentive and easy to communicate with. The house has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable, amazing stay. I highly recommend this property.

Loved our stay on the big island in the comfort of this inviting villa decorated with tasteful Hawaiian decor. Perfect for a family or group with ample room to spread out and all the amenities of home including new appliances. We didn’t explore the club beach or black beach until our last couple of days, they were just what we needed. Definitely don’t wait like we did, they are less than a five minute drive. The beach chairs and toys provided were a plus! The location was further out than expected, but we spent our days exploring the island so it worked out. Host was great and responsive, Concierge when we arrived also a plus to share key items for staying at the villa.

Just bring your suit… I’ve never stayed at a VRBO more equipped with cooking, cleaning, and beach supplies than this one! This condo is beautifully decorated and well organized. This condo will not disappoint. We had a group of 7 and everyone had plenty of space to spread out. The living space is large and comfortable with plenty of seating. We prepared 90% of our meals during our 2 week stay and found the kitchen to be supplied with everything we needed. The 3 bedrooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. The trundle bed in the loft provided the extra sleeping space we needed for our group. We loved having both an downstairs and upstairs lani.
We were greatly appreciative of the beach supplies. Beach towels for everyone, 5 beach chairs, several coolers, umbrellas, some snorkel gear (masks, snorkels, fins), boogie boards and more.
The location of the Golf Villas was perfect for us. Close to the Mauna Lani Beach Club (you get a key card for entrance) and a small grocery store. Costco, Wal-mart and Target are about 30 minutes away. It is a quiet complex and beautifully landscaped.
Karen Miller, the owner was consistently quick to reply to all of our questions and to the couple of minor issues that we encountered during our stay. We were able to meet her at one point during our stay and it was obvious to us that she deeply cares about the quality of her property and giving the best experience possible to her guests.
You won't be disappointed if you choose to book this condo. This condo is on the top of my list for our next family vacation.

I highly recommend staying here! We just got back and had a fabulous time! My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. The property was perfect for our family (4 of us) and had enough room for our Hawaiian friends (2 additional for one night) to visit for a night as well! They were also impressed with the property. It was super clean, had every comfort of home and had every item you could possibly need for the beach....chairs, umbrellas, tons of towels, coolers, snorkel gear, toys, etc! We made use of the main floor lanai and grill every night for dinner! We spent a full day at the Mauna Lani beach club, and Hapuna State Beach is very close....one of our favorites. Karen, the owner, was very helpful and super easy to communicate with as well!! I would love to stay here again when we make it back in the future!!
