Unit is accurately described in the listing. Traveled with friends (one other couple). Lots of space for 4 people. Kitchen is well stocked and the entire unit is nicely furnished. It is slightly dated, but in excellent condition for the price. Convenient drive from Airport (about 30 minutes). Parking fairly convenient. Property grounds are first class and well maintained.

We came on vacation to relax and enjoy our self’s . Coming into a 90 degree condo wasn’t the idea I had . We forgot to turn the thermostat back to 85 when we left the first day and then got a sarcastic little e- mail reminding us . This is a very nice place and if I ever come back , I will be sure to go through someone else. I talked with some of the other people staying here and they had never herd of such a thing . I didn’t know I was going to watched so closely . I hope they’re are no cameras inside this condo . But that is feeling we got staying here. Other than that it is a very nice place wish we could have enjoyed more

The property was very organized with inventory listed in closets, cabinets and drawers labeled for ease in finding things, instructions on what not to use and very thorough instructions on how things should be left upon use and checkout. This condo was very nice, and included all the amenities you need for a nice stay. What I liked: pretty bedrooms and living areas; lots of things to use at the beach including snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella, life jackets, and much more; plenty of things to use to cook meals with; nice washer and dryer with laundry detergent provided. What I did not like: the thermostat is set so you cannot turn the air down any lower than 76. When we first arrived, the thermostat was set at 85, and the condo was so very hot. It took several hours for it to cool down to 76, and so for the first several hours we were there we were very hot. But 76 still feels hot for us. We were just not comfortable the entire time, and not many windows open so it is difficult to get a breeze going through the condo. And when you leave the condo, the owner makes agree to turn the thermostat back up to 85, so when you return, it is so hot again. We stayed very hot and it was just not comfortable for us. I understand saving money on the electric bill, but I feel that I paid a lot for the condo, and should be able to adjust the air to my comfort level.

The place is a good location what we didn’t like was that the stairs had white carpet and they were dirty and the place needs to be remodel there’s drawers, blinds that don’t work the place is outdated.beds and bathrooms and the rest of the property were clean. It was not clean, carpets were filthy, especially the stair carpets. Every room had several broken blinds, stickers everywhere of what you can and cannot do. You are not allowed to have the Ac lower than 78 if you go out you have to raise the Ac up to 85 degrees. In one of the bathrooms, there was a towel rack pulled out of the wall a little. We were charged $95.00 for something we did not do. Makes you wonder if he does not do that to every booking.

My husband and I rented this lovely townhouse for March and April of this year and it was wonderful! We also during our 2 month stay had our adult childreen visit us for a week here and there. They also were very pleased with the accommodations.
. From the start Ashok answered all our questions and was awesome to work with. He always responded quickly and provided the information we needed.
The townhouse is a 2 story configuration with 2bedrooms 2 baths on the main floor and laundry. The upper level had the living room, kitchen and 1/2 bath. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishware, airfryer, blender, rice steamer and more!
An outdoor deck/patio was off the livingroom and a wonderful place to sit and have morning coffee.
Also provided were beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, snorkle gear, and more.
The grounds around the townhouse was well kept and a beautiful tropical setting .
Parking was located a short distance from the townhouse in underground garage but space was provided next to the condo to do loading and unloading of items. It worked out well. Our stay was relaxing and memorable!
We would stay here again in a heartbeat !

This condo was perfect for us as we wrapped up our Wedding week! Comfortable and convenient to everything you might need, from restaurants to grocery stores to beaches with beautiful views. Check in and check out were easy and seamless and I appreciated all the extras provided (tennis racquets, beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear!) The resort also has excellent security and we felt quite safe here. I’d be delighted to stay here again.
Plus, the interior is beautifully decorated. Not another boring beige rental property.

My husband, our friend, and I stayed at Ashok's place for four nights.
We were supposed to arrive on a Friday evening, but our flight from Chicago got canceled, so we were not able to arrive until Saturday evening. I contacted Ashok to let him know that we would not be arriving until the next day. Since we did not want to shorten our stay on the Big Island, I also asked if there was any possibility of us extending our stay by one additional day. He told me that he would check and get back to me. He got back to me within the hour, and even though it was a short turn-around for his cleaning crew, he allowed us to stay the additional day, which we really appreciated.
Ashok continued to be great at communicating with us throughout our arrival and our stay.
The location of the condo was great, as it was only about 30 minutes from the airport, and close to restaurants and a grocery store. It was conveniently located between the sites to the south and the sites to the north.
Ashok recommended a grocery store and that we stop before we went to the condo, which was very helpful.
The condo has two "master suites, with ensuite bathroom in both" as well as a half-bath upstairs by the living room and kitchen.
It has a very nice balcony on the second floor, which we enjoyed every morning while we had our breakfast and in the evening when we returned from our outings.
The condo was clean and had everything that we needed.
I would definitely recommend the condo if you will be visiting the Big Island.

We had such a wonderful time at this location and the condo was nestled perfectly near all of my favorite snorkeling locations! What a find! The owners are the sweetest and extremely communicative. Even when our flights changed, they responded instantly and helped us salvage our vacation! Any issue that came up, the owners took care of it. They had a lovely binder to provide recommendations. There are outdoor supplies in a bedroom downstairs. The beds were very comfy. The grounds are managed beautifully! We will return!

The accommodations were as advertised. The location is convenient with a farmers market around the corner on Wednesday’s.
It’s extremely quite and low key, so if that’s what your wanting, you’ll enjoy it. If your bringing a younger family you may feel a little out of place. We enjoyed the condo, bed was comfortable, good selection of beach gear. One thing that’s needs addressing is there is a significant privacy issue at night in the bedrooms and living areas. The draperies are virtually see-through if you have a light on inside and it’s dark outside. We had to do all of our changing in the bathroom at night. The AC cools everything down very quickly so there is no need to leave it running when not in the unit.

Enjoyed our stay in the spacious 2 bedroom and 2 bath townhouse unit. It's located on beautiful resort like grounds. The vacation rental had everything we needed: beach towels, beach mat and insulated cooler bag plus indoor washer and dryer.

Free parking was also a plus and it's located next door to the Outrigger Hotel where there's the manta ray viewing deck.

Checking in was easy, the owner provided great instructions and checked in by text to make sure we'd made it to the property with no problems. The location was centrally located to everything we wanted to do during the day, and this was a great place to relax during the evening. The location is great. The condo is roomy and the complex is very quiet.
The downsides were the bathroom tubs were not very clean, the bathroom mat was covered in mold. I’m pretty sure the coffee pot had never been washed, I soaked it and washed it twice before we could use it. If anyone sleeps upstairs it gets pretty hot and the owner doesn’t want the temp to be set below 77 degrees.
Overall the grounds are lovely and it’s a spacious condo. If it had been cleaner it would have been great.

This is a great set-up for 2 couples. I looked for something with 2 king beds with private bathrooms. This fit the bill nicely. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a washer and dryer. The washer is in the smaller bedroom closet and the dryer is in the hall closet. We didn't cook much but it was nice to have a kitchen. We put the little bit of food we had in the topmost cupboard but the ants still found it. Nothing is safe unless it's in the fridge. That is usual anywhere in the islands. The wifi worked fine. We enjoyed the pool one day, but other than that were off exploring all the time. The parking gets a little weird at times in the small lot near the condo. Half the spaces were coned off for loading and we had to park in the big parking lot sometimes. The shaded spot for this unit is filled with construction supplies so you have to park up top. Not a big deal. Some neighbor people get a little fired up about it though. The A/C set on 78 degrees actually cools it off nicely. We usually slept with just the sheet or the sheet and thin bedspread with the fan above the bed on high. It cools down quickly. There are coolers, beach chairs, towels and an umbrella. we left a boogie board behind.
The blinds are definitely due for an update. Many slats are broken off or missing. Not a big deal upstairs but in the ground floor bedrooms it's not ideal. The curtains are too thin for privacy. The plastic on the carpet is a little weird too, but not a deal breaker. I would stay there again. Ashok was pleasant. It's a beautiful place to stay.

The condo is quiet and secluded, just a couple of minutes walk to the beautiful Keauhou Bay (where you can go to snorkel during the day or swim with Mantas at night).
Ashok provides a great list of things to do, ample towels and linens, a well-stocked kitchen, outdoor equipment, etc. The unit was comfortable with lots of items to make our stay easier and more enjoyable.
The resort where the condo is located is nicely cared for and very private, plenty of pools, courts for tennis or pickle ball. There’s a great grocery store and shopping center less than 2 miles away and a great location for easy access to most of the island.
There are a few signs of wear - light-colored carpet that has some stains and plastic covering which will need to be replaced, a window that doesn’t close, blinds that need to be fixed - but all in all it’s in great shape and we’d definitely come again and recommend to friends and family!

Ashok’s condo was perfect for the three of us, but it would cater to 6 no problem. It nestled in a laid back area of the beach. The condo has everything you need to cook and more. Chairs, towels, snorkel gear for the beach. Pool and jacuzzi were conveniently close. We even walked 5 minutes Down to the boat dock and went on a right off the shore manta ray excursion that was so amazing!! The manta rays were all around us and got very close!! There were ants and roaches and spiders in the whole unit. Linens and towels smelled horrible. There was a pee stain on one of the sheets which has NOT been cleaned. Kitchen and fridge were dirty. Owner will take cleaning fee from you but will expect you to clean the whole unit and give to him and still will try to cheat you. He will watch you like a hawk from one of his multiple cameras. It will ruin your vacation because it sure ruined mine. I cleaned everything I was supposed to and he is using the one thing I wasn’t supposed to clean against me to charge me!! And I cleaned that too. The toilet was overflowing. There was a central ac that we paid for but we can’t use it fully or else he will text you and turn the heat on from his phone. I was not aware of this because if I was I wouldn’t have stayed here.

We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Kona. Awesome location, secluded and private, fully loaded condo for your beach needs (beach chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear, towels) and a kitchen that had all the utensils and equipment to cook your meals if you wanted to. After a couple of days in the Kona area, driving past the big resort strip to the north of town, we really came to appreciate the choice we made to stay at Ashok's condo and the southwestern coast in particular.
Everything around the area is naturally lush as the terrain changes into the "coffee coast" from the more desert-like region stretching from the airport and northward. There was still plenty of sunshine and sparkling water, but the natural feel was really welcome.
The condo itself is outstanding and, for us, was a great value. Spacious, comfortable, well-located and well-equipped. It had everything we needed for a family vacation, including in-condo washer and dryer that helped us pack far less than we otherwise might have.
If you're looking for a comfortable home base for exploring this incredible island, this is it.

We loved the location and all the amenities of the property. It was very spacious and well appointed. The kids loved the pool and hot tub and how close we were to excellent snorkeling spots.
The only thing was that the bathroom in the kids bedroom wasn't well cleaned when we checked in and the washer had a musty smell but I think it is pretty common with washers these days. Maybe just change to a different cleaning company?
Overall we were very happy with the property and the condo, so nice to have so much space.

We stayed in a similar unit different owner so we know what to expect. Unfortunately the television in the family room was broken and they didn’t replace it until two days before we left and we had rented the apartment for eight days. We spent most of our time out but in the evening and mornings it would have been nice to watch the news. There were ants all over the kitchen and the traps the manager Putin place did nothing. We had to spray raid al over the kitchen so I really didn’t want to use it for eating. I told the owner the unit was dirty and ant infested. Shortly after speaking to him the property manager called me to deny it was dirty and offered to spray raid. Not very professional to attack a guest like that. I took pictures in case the owner wants to see the long black hair in the tub and the floors. PS I have blonde hair so it wasn’t mine. I’d also recommend the owner buy proper sheets to fit the bed as we had to constantly stretch them back on the mattress all night long. It was a good price so I give the 3 stars rating but the cleanliness gets a 1star and they charge a cleaning fee which is clearly not being used to clean.

We loved staying here. The location can not be beat. Right next to the bay for snorkeling, quick drive to downtown, and right next to country club if you’d like to golf. We came for our friends wedding at the Sheraton, and this condo was walking distance which was perfect. Everything was clean and nice. They even had a welcome basket for us when we arrived.
Only one suggestion would be to change out the shower rack in master. It was rusted over. That’s my only suggestion.

I have stayed in the Mauna Loa Village condos in the past. I loved the set up and the privacy. It is spacious, comfortable and incredible views are seen from any window. There was even a peak of the ocean from the lanai! This unit was fully stocked and accommodated our party of 4 very easily. The couch/chairs were comfortable. We cooked several meals there, barbecuing outside several times. Each was a great eating experience. We enjoyed the hot tub. With all the units there, one would expect to have the pool/hot tub/grounds busy and noisy. Everything was serene and we felt that we had our own private pool and hot tub! I would definitely return!

This property was exactly as advertised and more! It was immaculate, roomy and well outfitted. Grounds are beautiful!! This was the first time we spent more than a few days on the island, and we are so glad we did. We have already booked a return trip. Our only disappointment was that the price went up for this unit, so we reluctantly booked at an adjacent facility.
