Governor David Inge announced starting 10-15-20 travelers from the mainland won’t be required to quarantine as long as they present a negative test result for COVID-19, from a test taken within 72 hours of arrival. The test requested from travelers must be a nasal swab FDA-approved nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT), and the results from a CLIA certified laboratory. Inge said drugstore operator CVS and health care provider Kaiser Permanente will conduct the tests as part of an agreement with the state of Hawaii. There will be no testing available at any arriving airport in Hawaii. Travelers flying to Hawaii will also be required to complete “Safe Travels” application. This application is obtained by going to travel.hawaii.gov. You must have an email account to apply for this form. There is a process to follow and must be completed prior to arriving. This does not have GPS tracking. You will get a code to present prior to arriving. There will be a 14 quarantine in place for all arriving guests from the mainland until 10-15-20. This is a newly remodeled 1 bedroom 1 bath condo on a 6 acre property with the nicest, largest pool on the leeward side of the island. Our home has never been rented until recently and is a showcase. King Bed with ceiling fan, remodeled bath with recessed ceiling fan, open walk in shower for two, Rain shower head, remodeled kitchen fully stocked, large living area with queen couch with pull out bed and linens. We have made adjustments to our cleaning mitigation to meet the standards of our current health situation. Our housekeepers and us as owners will only use cleaning products that can eliminate the COVID-19 virus. We have researched this subject with the CDC and commit to you and your family a safe healthy environment. As owners who manage our own properties our commitment to our guests is to have a clean and comfortable experience. Big screen TV and Roku available. We have two stools at the kitchen island, two chairs at our dining table, 4 chairs and table on the lanai along with additional setting for four or more. Our lanai is a garden setting with easy access to our pool. Our lanai is extra large with daily shade and sun. You may walk from our lanai directly to the pool which is open 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 pm. We have pool and ocean toys for your island excursions. Our home is clean and comfortable. Two ceiling fans in the living/dining area along with ductless split level AC by Fujitsu. Our property has a 100,000 gallon heated pool which is our showcase. Our cabana has seating, table tennis, restrooms and three grills cleaned every morning. We are a first floor garden condo with a wonderful lanai. Our 6 acre property has a large footprint with tennis courts and plenty of room to recreate. There are only 54 units on our property with easy parking which can be a problem at other properties. Our parking and Internet is free. The grounds are lovely with literally tens of thousands of floral native to Hawaii. We are the owners and not rental agents so we are easy to work with.
