The place is excellent and just like the pictures.

1. Communications with the property manager
2. Noisy inside/outside unit due to traffic. The unit is located right next to busy S. Kihei Road.
3. There is a permanent resident next door who smokes on his lanai. Nice guy but beware he smokes non-stop and the smell wafts over. We didn't say anything to him.
4. Very long walk from the parking lot and no wagon available to help transport groceries/beach gear back and forth from unit
BEWARE of Michael, the Property Manager. He is rude and condescending. We woke up one morning to find our lanai covered in pollen and swarming with thousands of bees due to a nearby palm tree. I phoned him and he said he would have it taken care of. The next day nothing done yet, I texted him and he said "3 weeks so I suggest you buy a fly swatter so you can continue to enjoy your lanai". In regards to the pollen, he said "They will come by with their leaf blower, how would you like to pay?" He quoted us an exorbitant amount of money. If anything goes wrong you'll have absolutely no help. In the end the bees/pollen were never removed and the lanai was unuseable and unsafe. For this reason I cannot give the place more than 3 stars.

First of all, the location was close to everything. The pool was absolutely incredible and the hot tub was fun after dark. The home itself was very well stocked with just about everything we needed to have a good stay - cooler, beach chairs and towels, etc. The home had a good layout for an adult family.
Now for the reason for my title.
We weren’t given the code until after 4 pm to check in, and as we were locating the unit (a VERY far walk from the parking area) I was greeted by the housekeeper who told me the kitchen faucet was leaky. Not only was it leaky, but you had to slam it from a counter clockwise position to get it to stop streaming all together. The faucet in the hall bath shower fell off the first time my mom used it. The shower heads in the other bathrooms were leaky as well. The AC was barely pumping so my brother and husband checked the filters. They were coated in a very thick layer of human funk - hair, dust, etc. We cleaned all of the filters ourselves with the outside hose and voila, the ac was pumping cold.
There were very few washcloths available, and all of the white towels were dingey and stained. The washcloth I used had a giant brown circular stain right in the middle of it. If I had more space in my suitcase, I would have purchased my own set of towels to use. There was urine on the backside of the toilet. Baseboards everywhere lookedbad
Maintenance is totally ignored, cleanliness was sub par, yet instructions to vacate were extremely strict.

The condo was awesome for a family of 10… 8 adults and 2 kids, ages 8 and 10. 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were good. Kitchen was well stocked.The beach/pool towels were limited. We said 10 people - that’s exactly how many small,thin, used towels we got. And to use for both beach and pool was kinda frustrating. Bath towels were the same - they weren’t worn and thin but there were 15 big towels, limited wash cloths, and a few hand towels. I know this sounds petty, but when we asked for more - we were told that 10 beach towels was enough and 15 bath towels was enough also. washer and dryer constantly running.! Plumbing needs some repair. The lawn outside the front door had just had some work done and was repaired but obviously it didn’t matter what it looked like after they were done- very unappealing! The sprinkler system for the grounds watered our outside deck in the afternoon. All in all our stay was great… it’s just that when good money is coming in for the rental every week , a guest staying there wonders why decent

This is a beautiful roomy condo with everything needed inside and out for a relaxing stay with family.
The large pool with hot tub and the shuffleboard area was a big hit. Sunny areas as well as shade was available and so close to our condo. The large grassy area off the lanai was enjoyed.
Although, not located on the beach side of the road, many beaches are nearby. We enjoyed checking out different ones.

There was a Pack n Play on site so we didn’t need to pack one. We needed a high chair and the property manager located one and dropped it off. It made it so much easier to feed the baby. There was construction on the unit next door but the construction workers started well after we were up, and closed down for the day so it wasn’t bothering us when we put the kids to bed. They kept everything tidy while they were working. There were beach toys, lawn chairs and plenty of beach towels. If you go, stop and grab life jackets, sunscreen, and goggles at Walmart. It a lot less expensive.

The place was excellent as a base to visit the island but was not the scenery we pictured for Maui- had to visit other areas to see the beauty of Maui. Also, the house itself was right on the road which was somewhat loud when outside or on the patio, otherwise was Not an issue. Overall house was great, sleep sofa was comfortable and house was well stocked- excellent stay.

This place was very kozy. Kitchen was amazing. Furniture was perfect. If you have small kids they have a lot of amenities you'll need. The place could use a little TLC. No remotes for down stairs Bedroom AC. We had to use the one from the living room. A few faucets needed some work and a little bit of caulking would go along ways. If this place had its own little trolly for garbage and groceries it would be really helpful as well. But I would definitely stay there again. Location is great. All in all beautiful place. Few minor things and it's definitely 5 stars

We had a great family vacation. However, the place needed a good cleaning. Woodwork, windows and floors were not very clean. Towels looked well used and kitchen had one badly used bake sheet that was unusable. Two spoons were stuck together with tomato sauce. The bathroom upstairs has rotting wood. The condo has great possibilities but just needed a good cleaning. Thank you for letting us use your home. One other thing-washer didn’t work.

This townhome was very comfortable for our family of 9-nine, however there was some inconveniences which prevents me from giving an excellent review. The KOA resort property is within walking distance to the beach approximately 1 block or a 5 minute walk. This townhome is located on the very end of the property. The kitchen was upgraded and pretty much had all the amenities you would need for a big family.
All the bedrooms were fine, except for underneath beds and the ceiling fans which needed cleaning. Most of the bed sheets and pillow cases had to be washed the very first day we arrived before using them because they had a funky odor. Same with towels. The washer and dryer worked well. The A/C split units worked fine except for the unit downstairs above the sliding glass door had a leak.
The bathrooms were updated and all worked fine, except the guest bathroom downstairs the door could not lock. It had to be blocked from inside. Neither patio sliding doors (upstairs and downstairs) closed nor locked properly. They were rough to close and the screen door upstairs couldn't hang on the frame. Also, the downstairs patio sliding glass door had been broken and was faced with a thin sheet of plywood instead of glass. It felt a little unsecured. The living room tv remotes and cable boxes all need to be replaced. The tv remotes were outdated and didn't connect with the cable box sensors. You literally have to place the remote 2 to 5 inches from the box to change channels. If the owners or property managers take care of the things mentioned above this would have been an excellent review.

Let’s just say the pictures were better than the reality. It was kind of like Holiday Inn quality, met our needs in a functional way. Several issues were annoying, sliding doors were difficult to operate, screen on upstairs slider kept falling off. Also the glass on one of the living room slider was broken and replaced with plywood, making an already dark room darker. Asked for a rebate for this issue and didn’t get one. The AC unit in living room leaked lots of water when we ran it, enough to soak the rug and several towels, reported it and never heard back.
I was looking forward to pool time but the pool area was so unappealing we ended up never using it. It could use some major upgrades. My pool at home is far nicer. I think I would have been ok with this property if there was any decent outdoor space to chill in, but the patio of the unit was dirty, both the furniture and the area. It was too small to accommodate more than 2-3 people
The location was convenient, beaches, restaurants, hiking , aquarium all close. Management was generally responsive, though check in was late because they needed more time to clean after previous guests.
It was okay, but I won’t be back. I need a touch of charm or luxury on a vacation. This property lacked either.

We appreciate this spacious condo and the beautiful updated interior design. This condo made us feel right at home. We had more than enough room for the six of use making our family vacation was very enjoyable and relaxing. We loved the large capacity washer/dryer making it easy to travel light. We also enjoyed the barbecue on the back patio and the air conditioning for a very comfortable stay. The proximity to the beach was perfect.

Great layout, stayed for 1 week with 6 adults. Unit was well cleaned for our arrival. Had a fantastic supply of beach needs (chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, towels, snorkels and fins, cooler). Kitchen was outfitted with all needs (utensils, pots and pans, plates and glasses, blender). Beware that the stove is induction and there are some pots and pans in the unit that do not work on this stove (should be removed from unit completely). Owner only supplied a limited amount of toilet paper, paper towel and garbage bags, which we ran out of well before our trip ended. We thought this should all have been supplied, given the price we paid for the unit. Owner wasn't able to accommodate an early check in or late checkout, as guests were occupying the unit on same days, not a huge problem, would suggest asking for this well in advance if required. Be wary of the ants on the kitchen counter near the sink, we had to move all food and drink off this area, as they would be crawling with ants in the morning (came out at night). The resort had a nice pool and hot tub, not overly busy when we were there, which was great (no problem finding lounge chairs). No issue with noisy neighbors or rude guests and no complaints about our group. Overall we were pleased with our stay and would recommend it. Kelli (property manager) was a pleasure to deal with.

What a great space. We had 6 adults and 4 kids, and it was very spacious for our group. Everything was clean and new. Love the pool at the resort. The rooms and washrooms were nice and spacious as well. Lots of kitchen tools/appliances/utensils to use. The walkout lanai was nice. Would stay here again anytime! The ceiling fans and air conditioning was great too! Loved this place! Kelli the manager was also easily available when needed. Thanks for a great stay!
