Great stay at this property.
-Very close to Charlie Young beach & walking distance to the main parts of Kihei.
-The 3 pools were often empty for us to take our pick.
-Having the washer and dryer in the unit was a game changer.
-correspondence with the owners was very quick and they answered any questions

This was the first trip with our blended family 3 adult children and 1 teen. The location was fabulous. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurant. Everyone had a wonderful time. It was a great bonus to have beach chairs and boogie boards available for our use.
I would recommend this place to family and friends.

The condo is super convenient to the beach, shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. The condo is comfortable. And has a lot of beach equipment we used and was helpful to mot to have to buy or rent. A couple of suggestions would be to get A/C in the master bedroom because even with the 1 unit in the living room running it is still warm. Also the kitchen needs pot holders and a baking sheet. All other utensils were provided. The washer and dryer came in really handy after beach days. Overall it was a great place to stay.

It was perfect for our family size, two kids and two adults. The loft upstairs with the bathroom was perfect for our boys. The only downfall was in the downstairs bedroom, it would get a little warm at night due to no AC. Also, the ceiling fan was not working in the bedroom. Overall, it was good! We enjoyed it!

Excellent location. Condo acceptable, though a bit dated. No surprises, as condo condition was true to pictures and description. Overall it was exactly as we expected and we had a very pleasant stay. We recommend it for budget minded travelers as it was a very good value.

Good value property that provides everything you need and more.
The property features, ample parking, multiple pools, elevators to reach upper levels, good variety of TV channels, good views from front room and balcony.
What’s missing or could make it better. TV’s in Master bedroom and possibly upstairs. Layout map of property, we went to the wrong pool the first couple times wondering why our key wouldn’t work, other guest let us in. After a couple days we went to security and advised them of our inoperative pool key only to find out we had a much closer pool that our key did fit.
I guess as a final comment I would say we would stay again.

I have stayed in many VRBOs and this one was by far the worst. Upon check in we got into the condo and it was filthy. Dirty on the base board and the walls. I swept the kitchen and there were chips and popcorn from the previous guest. Towels were supposed to be clean were full of green crusty gunk. I ended up spending my first afternoon and evening in Maui was towels and cleaning the condo. The kitchen faucet was about to fall off so we had to call the property management company to fix it. Then there cockroaches so we had to call them again. They came 2 days later and set traps and they day before we were going to leave they called and offered to send a cleaning person to clean our room. After we were already there for 5 days. The Maui Vista is a nice complex and we had family stay in a different Condo so we hung out there most of our trip. I would not stay here again. I would definitely book a different condo in the Maui Vista complex. I did communicate with the own about our cleaning fee. I was told they were working on it but 2 weeks later and I still haven’t heard anything.

Could use some updated furniture, as nothing has changed since our stay in 2018.
Unsure if the issues with cleanliness is time to clean ( as I understand sometimes people leave a complete mess for the cleaning staff who only have 4 hours max to clean the property till the next person comes in).
Otherwise, the location and amenities were all there, and location is always the best!

Great location! Lots of restuarants and shops in walking distance. For the price it was good. View was nice. Could use some attention to details like broken umbrella and chair put back into a closet without being thrown out by cleaners or maintenance. Twin bed frame up stairs needs an addjustment. Bathroom vents dirty. Downstairs bedroom was warm but upstairs just fine. Green chairs could use a steam clean in main room. If you sleep upstairs you might want an eyemask as security lights are bright outside window.

Property poorly maintained but mgmt company took care of major issues. Had maintenance workers in and out of the unit for the first 6 days of our stay. Were there for a month. Didnt they know we were coming?
Poorly equipped. Had to purchase glasses, kitchen towels, bath towels, beach towels, pillows, bed linnens and throw rugs. Just left them there so yall enjoy. No a/c in master and ceiling fan didn't work.
Didnt bother trying to get it fixed cause we were sick of people in the unit.
Great location. Stayed at same complex last year but different unit. Pretty disappointed with condition. Roaches.
Won"t stay here again.

A/C unit at living room does NOT cool the entire condo. No A/C Upper/lower bedrooms SUPER HOT!!! Lower bedroom was EXTREMELY hot and ceiling fan inoperable. Stove top did NOT turn off.

we enjoyed staying here. it was great for two couples, however the beds upstairs are two twins that needed to be moved together. it is within easy walking distance to the beach and many other restaurants and shops. driving from here to anywhere on the island was easy. the parking was there, but could be a challenge sometimes. the kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed (accept a coffee grinder). loved the view from the balcony over the town and the distant mountains and sea. we never used the pool or the bbq grills, but they are there for your use.
we would easily cone back here to stay next time we come to maui!!

Ceiling fan in living room was broken when we arrived with note from maintenance. Temperature was cool enough we did not need it.
Smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night. Was taken down and left on kitchen counter with battery removed. Probably needs replacing.
Upstairs bathroom door does not close (and stay closed), shower water pressure is very low upstairs.
There are many beach chairs however most of them had broken straps and had to be rigged up to be able to carry them on your shoulder. Otherwise kind of useless with no way to carry them.
It would be helpful there was a dustpan and broom to be able to sweep the lanai and living room. After several days coming to and from the beach with sand on flip-flops and sneakers it was very difficult to remove. It was getting into everything.
Towel rod in bathroom was loosely attached to the wall and not securely fastened. Fell off more than once dropping towels onto floor.
Need new sleeping pillows throughout. They are very old, stained and flat. Similar for bedding.
Screen door to lanai very difficult to open and when pushing almost feels like it is going to pop off the track each time. Needs oil or maintenance.

We rented this condo for 7 night for a family vacation. The location was very nice the layout of the condo was ok. The bedding was terrible and the beds were very uncomfortable. We actually thought about leaving early because we slept so bad on the queen bed not to mention the ceiling fan not working in that same room. Unfortunately most of the beach equipment was broken or missing so we ended up needing to buy or rent what we needed after renting a condo that said it was provided. We also had no soap or shampoo in the downstairs bathroom but ended up bringing our own and finally the smoke alarm and door lock broke well we were there which was frustrating. With all of that said it was a great location and we did enjoy the quick walk to the beach.

Our stay in Kehei was a brief stop over but we quickly fell in love with the small community. The condo was comfortable and clean with amazing views from the balcony. The main bedroom downstairs was rather warm with the only air conditioning in the main living area.
Overall, we throughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time, the location is great with Charley Young beach right across the street and a short walk to shops and dining. Nice view of the water from the balcony. Wailea is also a short drive and it’s only 20-30 minutes to the airport.
The condo itself was decent. Nice pots and pans and the washer and drier was nice to have (they had detergent). Was a little disappointed that the beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards were pretty old and not in great shape or broken. Only a few of the chairs were good enough to use. They did have a few beach towels and a nice cooler which came in handy. Only one tennis racket and no balls, so don’t expect to use that!
The bathrooms need some TLC— the downstairs towel rack wouldn’t stay on the wall and there was clearly a previous leak that had damaged the ceiling and walls (holes were covered in plastic), and the door to the upstairs bathroom doesn’t close without a lot of effort.
Overall it’s a great value and a nice location. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Great location! The owner was awesome to work with thete was a glitch on the website and they communicated with me and corrected it they were very helpful. Condo was stocked nicely with boards and beach equipment The chairs were older but still worked just fine, kitchen had all the necessary utensils. My only negative at all was the cleanliness of the unit it needs a good deep cleaning the fans in all the rooms were caked with dust , I bought lysol wipes and cleaned the first day the wood around the door knobs was very dirty with hand prints and black smudges I Know that any condo on the beach gets dirty quickly I, I swept and mopped the condo several times while we were there just to keep the sand out but this was deep cleaning that it needed walls, baseboards, fans it was very dirty however I would love to stay there again hopefully the owner will contact the cleaning company .Overall I loved the property I love the location and the owner was so wonderful to work with.

Great condo. Needs a little work. Looks like there was a leak in the upstairs bathroom and repairs need to be finished in the downstairs bathroom and master closet from that leak. A/C was broken but that got replaced with a new unit 5 days into the trip. No big deal as there was only a couple days that got really hot. Over all a perfect place for my family of 5. Cant beat the fact that the beach is right across the street. Very short walk and one of the best beaches we visited while in Maui.

We only stayed in this unit 2 nights as we were unable to book a single place for the entire length of our stay. We loved this condo’s location. We loved Charley Young beach and the Cove for surfing, It was a short walk to restaurants and shops. The condo was comfortable. As other reviewers stated, there had been an issue with the plumbing and the unit was still awaiting dry wall repair in the downstairs bathroom. This did not affect its use. When we arrived an air conditioning repair man came to check the a/c. While it does work a little, the repairman did say he would be recommending a new unit be installed. As other reviewers stated, the back bedroom does not have a/c., There are two giant fans and a ceiling fan which really helped cool it down.
