If you're someone who appreciates the exceptional, you'll have no need to look any further, now that you have found this incredible ocean front beach house. It truly is the ultimate ocean front getaway.

Everything has was updated.....from landscaping and paint, to furniture and linens...and NOTHING BUT THE BEST! The linens are 500 ct. cotton, with thick plush bath towels to match. Nothing was left to the imagination. This is one of the premier vacation rentals available on the SUNNY west side of Kauai, within minutes of the famous Waimea Canyon and miles of white sand beaches.
Nowhere else on the island do you have the opportunity to view sunsets over the ocean, with wintering hump back whales breaching in the distance. The west side of Kauai is the least traveled and the least populated. However, savvy travelers are discovering the natural beauty of this side of the island.

Everything imaginable awaits you in Hale Laguna. Wide and spacious double lanais face the ocean and offer a comfortable spot to read a book, watch the sunset, and dine al fresco by the sea. Inside, the bedrooms offer air conditioning and a well-stocked kitchen to make food preparation as easy as the island lifestyle. The open and flexible floor plan offers families and couples traveling together an opportunity to spread out with plenty of private areas to get away from everyone else if you desire some quiet. No one will feel slighted with his or her bedroom and all them have King beds, or a conversion to twins if desired. Both bathrooms have luxurious walk-in showers featuring river rock, tile, and glass. There is a living room on each floor, and a kitchenettes (in addition to the main kitchen) so that each group can have their own floor with identical ocean side lanais.

On the upper main floor you'll find the master suite with a king-size bed and spectacular river rock shower which features dual shower heads. Sliding doors open to your covered, oceanside lanai. This is the perfect spot for watching the unforgettable displays of color each night as the sun sets over the ocean and in the winter months, it's your front row seat for watching the humpback whales that make Hawaii their winter home.

Enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean while cooking in the fully stocked kitchen which features beautiful granite counter tops. The dining area seats 6 with additional seating at the kitchen bar. If you prefer to show off your grilling skills, the gas barbecue on the adjoining living area lanai, is also placed where you can watch the sunset as you fix a great meal. Both levels of the outside lanais also offer tables and seating so you can enjoy ocean front dining without even leaving home!

The upstairs living area has a 46' flat screen LCD TV, and DVD player. There is another flat screen 46 'LCD TV on the first level living area, as well as TVs in each of the master bedrooms. Only BEDROOMS HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. We also have, high speed wireless internet, and FREE UNLIMITED long distance phone calling to anywhere in the US and Canada, so you will easily be able to stay connected throughout your stay.

There are two additional bedrooms on the first floor. A second master bedroom with a king size bed which walks out to the lower ocean side, and a full ocean view. The last bedroom has twin beds that can be made into a third king upon request. The downstairs also features an additional full bath, a combined living/dining room area, a lanai dining table with seating for 4, and plenty of room for lounging. The unique design of this house allows groups traveling together to still have their own separate living and sleeping areas, offering much more privacy than most vacation homes.

Come and discover Kauai's best kept secret...Sunny, laid back Kekaha, which is the western most town in the US and has an average annual rainfall of less than 20 inches. Regardless of the time of year your travels bring you to Kauai, you are almost guaranteed a warm, sunny vacation here on the west side. Why risk your vacation going to parts of the island where rainfall exceeds 100 inches, and it is not uncommon to have it rain for a week at a time? We have uncrowded beaches, no traffic, no tourist traps, no hotel resorts, just sun and surf in a friendly, small town community.

Come experience the west side of Kauai, with luxurious accommodations to come “home” to. You will come to know and appreciate what experienced travelers to Hawaii have found out about this secret part of the island, and you won’t want to share it with anybody else!

** Please Note ...
There is a road that runs along the ocean in Kekaha, but this house is in the front row with unobstructed ocean front views. The sandy beach typically starts directly in front of the house, but depending on the direction of the ocean swells, the starting point of the sandy beach can fluctuate by a few hundred feet. From that point on, however, the beach is over 15 miles long, and the longest in the entire state of Hawaii

Absolutely loved staying at this place. So cozy and comfortable. The four of us had more than enough room and the amenities were great! Very tastefully decorated home. Washer and dryer made it great to pack clean clothes to go home. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family had a wonderful time away from the busy parts of the island! The house was just as advertised and very well set up. Would definitely return!

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. The views were just breathtaking. The home is well stocked, you’ll have everything you need. The bedrooms have a/c but the main living spaces do not. It wasn’t an issue as we spent our days out exploring the beautiful island. When we returned in the late afternoon we would open up windows and the house would cool off quickly. There is a two lane highway in the front of the property that the locals use but we did not find it to be an issue. The sound of the waves seemed to drown out any traffic’s noise, and there is minimal traffic. We plan to book this house again for our next stay. We highly recommend this property.

This was our family’s first trip to Kauai, and the house in Kekaha was just what we were looking for. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle to feel like we were locals, but close enough that it was just a short drive to shops and restaurants. There are a ton of guide books and the owners tips on the coffee table that helped us plan our days. The dishwasher could use a good cleaning, but other than that the house is spotless! Will definitely stay here again

This is a great place to stay, especially if you want outside of the normal touristy parts of the island. Beach towels, chairs, cooler, etc. were available - thank you so much! I'll be back!

Perfect for us. On Kauai for a wedding held at The Harbor House about 2-miles away. Also very close to Kekaha Beach, our grandsons fave. Only downside was traffic on the road but it was manageable. Would definitely stay again.

The house is great with the best view of the ocean. We saw whales and dolphin daily. It’s a short walk to the beach where you can surf or just watch the local surfers.

House was wonderful! Kitchen was fully equipped. Used the beach chairs, cooler, boogie boards, and umbrella for our beach days. Comfy beds and loved the spacious bathrooms. Great sunrise views on the lanai!

This house is huge and is not done justice by the photos. It is conveniently located near Na Pali coast and Waimea canyon as well as a beautiful beach. This side of the island is a bit more secluded and laid back than the crowded north shore yielding great night sky photos (from the yard) as well as sunrise/sunset views from the lanai. We found great food in Waimea. Thanks for hosting us!

This was just the place we needed for our family vacation. Plenty of space for all. Well stocked for all our cooking needs. Having the beach equipment available was fantastic. We had a problem with one of the twin bed frames and the contact person came right away to fix it. Would highly recommend to others and return to this property when we return to Kauia.

Great quiet location on western side of island. House had boogie boards chairs umbrellas. We rented boards before we drove to the house so wished we would have known before. There was an ice chest available to use and air conditioners only in each room. Kitchen was on the top floor and was pretty warm in the afternoons where everyone seems to gather to talk. House is across the street from a sandy beach area but not the official Kekaha State beach which is farther west on highway about a mile up. The sandy area across the street was ok for my 12 yr old son to boogie board but was not ideal since there were some rocks near the shoreline mixed in the sand. We played in the sand in the evenings and had the entire beach to ourselves. Its 1 hour 30 mins to the north side of the island. We did a private charter out of Kikiaola (5 mins) bay with Komohana up the Napali coast! Would highly recommend. Sunsets at the house were amazing and we loved the quiet atmosphere of the area!

This place was spectacular. Nestled oceanfront in the sleepy town of Kekaha- This was Hawaii the way my family loves it. Away from the touristy hustle and bustle , away from the overpriced restaurants and price gouging mini marts,.. Kekaha is native Kauai. The home is large, and gorgeous. Massive open living areas with views from generous windows on all four sides. Sweeping ocean views. Two massive lanais upper and lower,.. both with dining tables. Perfectly adequate kitchen facilities and amenities. Beds are comfortable for a rental- and the in room AC units are perfectly strong to cool the sticky July big island summer air at night. One of the most gorgeous , isolated and uncrowded beaches is 1/2 mile away- Kekaha beach park. There,.. even in prime tourist season,… you can catch a sunset without anyone else within 100 yards- Really just some locals maybe enjoying the sunset also after a hard days work in the back of their trucks. In comparison,.. we went to Poipu one eve for dinner,…. It was elbow to elbow with sunburned to tourists all loud and playing music. Please don’t rent this property if you are a loud party family! Respect the locals who live all around you here,.. wonderful , smiling individuals who are always up for a wave or conversation. If the above sounds good to you,…. This will be one of the finest vacation rentals you’ve ever invested in.

The place exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do this place justice. It had everything a person could want and then some. One of our friends is thinking of renting her beach house so she took serious notes on how well this house was set up. The location was beautiful and delightful and well-maintained. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous house.

This house is absolutely amazing. We are a family of 6 (5 adults, 1 kid) and had plenty of space for everyone. The rooms are very large and out door space was perfect. The air conditioners worked great and kept the rooms very cool at night. One of them was broken in of the downstairs bedrooms, but the fans seemed to keep it pretty cool at night. The location is great and even though the road is right in front of the house, the noise isn't bad. We would definitely stay here again.

February 2023
We absolutely loved this home for our family trip! The layout was perfect so we each had our own space, but also allowed us to come together and enjoy our time as a family. We took full advantage of the beautiful kitchen and had our meals on the lanai while watching for the whales that were nearby. We loved the close proximity to the beach, Waimea Canyon, and Poipu. Scott was a great host- quick to respond to our questions and we appreciated his attention to detail in regards to amenities in the home. It was the perfect place to celebrate a belated Christmas and birthdays and we can't recommend it enough!

January 2023
We had a wonderful time and absolutely love this part of Kauai. Sitting out on the deck enjoying uniquely Hawaiian sunsets each evening was probably our favorite activity but there were simply too many wonderful adventures to count! And this fantastic place is the perfect base for both exploration and relaxation. We'll definitely be back!

October 2022
This was the second time we rented this property and the experience was as amazing as the first. Clean, spacious, great amenities, perfect location...the perfect "home base" for any vacation. Chad and Scott (property managers) made everything easy - driving directions, check-in to check-out. Should we again return to Kauai will definitely be at the top of our list.

We enjoyed the amazing sunsets in this immaculate Kekeha house. The house suited our group of 5. Everyone enjoyed having lots of space and the porches where we played games late into the night. Mahalo!

August 2022
This was a great house. Perfect location to use as a base for exploring the island. Convenient to the small boat harbor for Na Pali coast boat trip and scuba trip. House was equipped with everything we needed; beach towels, beach chairs, ice chests, etc

August 2022
Located on the west side of Kauai this great home offered remoteness with a great view of the ocean from almost every room in the house. It was nice to be near Waimea Canyon and PoliHale beach which are a must-see. My family and I prefer a non resort experience when visiting the Hawaiian islands and this property offered cleanliness comfort and seclusion. Would definitely stay here again!

July 2022
House is beautiful with a great location! Location is is on a quiet part of the island with stores only minutes away. The view is breath taking… fell asleep outside on the balcony a few times listening to the waves. Beach and fishing access directly across the street.

June 2022
We stayed for a week at this amazing beach house on the hotter dryer side of Kauai. We cooked daily in the spacious kitchen and ate all of our meals on the lanai looking out onto the ocean. Every morning we sat on the lounge chairs with our coffee. This side of the island has amazing sunsets. We only had four in our party but the house would be very comfortable with six. The nearby beach was huge, not crowded and had very soft sand. I was a little worried about the road between the beach and house but we didn't mind it.

Donnie W.
June 2022
My family enjoyed this house and all it has to offer! The patios were amazing to relax on. The size of the house had plenty of room for 6. The location was away from the busier sections of Kaui. The kitchen was well stocked with good equipment. The only, minor negative was the road noise between the house and the beach.

May 2022
This property checked all my requirements when looking for a house with a view and plenty of room for 6 people. Beach chairs, coolers, kick boards, etc available at the property. Kitchen well stocked. A/C in all bedrooms! I will definitely check back to see if this house is available for future trips to Kauai!

April 2022
This is a perfect location for relaxing! Stunning sunsets, quiet (a little street noise) and lovely ocean views. The house was exactly what we needed for two couples wanting space and privacy but lots of common area to spend time together if we wanted. The property manager was so responsive. Truly paradise! Thanks for the great memories!

David B.
March 2022
Wonderful place to stay. We love the beach. You can walk across the street to a small beach area that’s usually not to crowded. Or drive up the road just one minute to miles of sandy beach. Saw whales, dolphins and turtles everyday. My only small concern is the traffic in front of the property. A few more vehicles than I expected. That would not stop us from staying there again. We are already planning our next stay there.

Elaine C.
March 2022
The highlight of our trip was watching the whales from the deck.

Michelle R.
March 2022
We were looking for a "slower" vacation, away from the resorts and loads of people. This house was perfect. Located on the west side, it's private and quiet (save for the street out front, but that's not bad at all). Our teenage boys loved their private rooms and we all had space to spread out. Enjoying morning coffee on the balcony, with Hawaii breezes to spare, was definitely a highlight. This house was super clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you can imagine. The quick walk over the street to an almost private beach was just what we were looking for this trip. Sunsets were magical on this side of the island. It was a fantastic trip and we would definitely book this house again when we return.

February 2022
This is a beautiful house and the sunsets from the lanai are picture perfect. Great space for two couples or larger family. Well appointed kitchen. This house is not in a tourist area which we thought was a huge plus. Loved some of the small local restaurants. Can’t say enough good things about staying here. Would absolutely recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

Joy M.
February 2022
This home in Kekaha surpassed our expectations in every respect. Beautiful views from upper and lower floors, many whales visible from the upstairs lanai, glorious sunsets. Close to Waimea canyon and beautiful eastside beaches. Home itself is beautifully finished and fully equipped. It is one of the most spectacular vacation homes we have been fortunate to stay in, and hope to come back again soon!

September 2021
This house was everything we wanted, and the location was perfect. Not if, when we return, we will stay here again. The sunsets are amazing from the outside sitting areas. Thank you Scott for all of your help and quick responses to my questions.

September 2021
Lovely home on the beach - beautiful view and easy beach access. This home is in the more rural part of Kauai, which I would call the rural island of Hawaii. Much less crowded and more local than the east or north sides. It has two amazing lanai surrounded by huge and beautiful smelling Plumeria tree and bougainvillea. It was clean and very well stocked with items most rentals wouldn’t have. Very comfortable. Easy access to Waimea canyon and west side outdoor activities. Highway could get noisy at times and roosters were interesting and vocal. Would be very comfortable for 6 guests. We went to the east side several times for planned activities - about 20 minute lovely drive. Mahalo for a lovely place to stay!

May 2019
This is a wonderful home to stay at! Right across the road from a very quiet beach. The home had almost anything you can think of! We went to Costco the first day and stocked up on food and beverages to last us our entire stay. We cooked on the grill on the deck on several occasions. Loved that there were beach towels and coolers that we could take with when we travelled to the other beaches. This was a perfect place for our group of six. Definitely would stay at this house again if we go back to Kaua’i!

April 2019
There were 6 of us staying on Kauai and this was the perfect house to be in. We have absolutely NO complaints about our stay. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, the indoor and outdoor furniture was very comfortable and the beds were extremely comfortable. The views were to die for and the beach was quiet, even on the weekend. Our group would consider ourselves lucky to stay in this home again. Mahalo for your hospitality.

Jo-Ellen S.
April 2019
This well-appointed home was a perfect base to get away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist scene. Very comfortable beds, plenty of towels, a well equipped kitchen, beach toys and chairs, and the ubiquitous chickens and roosters. The beach was 150 ft from the lanai. Sounds of the surf and a beautiful night sky. Close to Waimea canyon for hiking. The beach was great for surfing and swimming. Property manager was responsive to questions and a small issue that arose during our stay. For those who are noise sensitive, we would recommend the bedrooms on the lower level as they are more screened from the highway. Saturday is a good day for a trip away as the road is quite busy with traffic going to the nearby racing area. Overall our group really enjoyed our stay.

Katy G.
April 2019
Georgeous view! Beautiful house filled with all you need. We travel a lot and this is one if the best stock kitchen we have seen. It was really nice to listen to the ocean, and walk by the beach morning and night. The listing agent was great to communicate with. Over all this was a great choice and eiuld love to visit again!

Elizabeth A.
April 2019
The west side is truly the best side of Kawai and Hale Laguna is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Most of our time was spent on the lanai. The ocean view is mesmerizing - watching the waves roll onto the shore leaving a smooth layer of sand behind. The house is spacious, clean, and equipped with all the amenities of home. The beds are so comfortable. There are books to read and plenty of games to play to add to quality family time. We filled this home with laughter, and are leaving with cherished memories of this beautiful island. Mahalo

House was very well kept and equipped for 5 of us. More sandy beaches and more sun than the rest of Hawaii. I will definitely return.

February 2019
We loved our stay here. This house is literally at the end of the road. There is a street directly between you and the beach but it didn't take away from the beauty of this place. The street is a tad noisy and traffic continues all night long so we couldn't sleep with the windows open. The beach is literally 50 feet from the front of your door if even and there is beach access right across the street. The waves are bigger on this side of the island so our 2 young kids didn't get in the water here, we ventures down to the salt ponds which is a great location for young kids to swim. There is a rock ledge that breaks the waves and it is calm. We enjoyed this side of the island as it didn't rain as frequently as the north side. The yard is large and we had plenty of room to spread out in the house for 2 couples and 2 kids ages 2 & 4. This place is very well stocked. Coolers, all kitchen must haves, boogie boards, beach towels, sand toys, laundry detergent, bathroom supplies, you name it you probably don't need to bring it. Very clean, my mom would notice the smallest dust bunny anywhere we stay and she had no complaints here. Highly recommend!!

January 2019
Spent a fabulous weekend in this beautiful home. Location is perfect. The house was not ready for check in at 3pm so we spent 2 hours driving around. Disappointed but everything else was good.

Barton M.
January 2019
What a beautiful property. Luxury furnishings throughout and perfectly maintained. Everything we could have asked for was there, including beach chairs, snorkel gear, and boogie boards. And there is nothing as relaxing as sitting on the upstairs lanai and watching the sun dip into the Pacific each evening. Kekaka is a great little town for those who want to get away from it all. Highly recommended!

December 2018
Hale Laguna was everything I hoped it would be. The two floors allowed our son and daughter in law and granddaughter to have separate space downstairs, while my husband and I had privacy in the master suite on the upper floor. The House was well stocked with everything needed, including beach chairs and toys. I would love to stay here again and recommend it wholeheartedly!

December 2014
We stayed in Hale Laguna Oct 19 thru Oct 27. Tropical Storm/Hurricane Ana was blowing through as we prepared to head to Kauai. So I want to mention Scott here. We were concerned and started emailing him. He was just terrific-stayed in touch all the way. Thanks Scott! The home was just perfect for us-two couples. It is a lovely home and had everything we could possibly need or want. Someone mentioned the outdoor shower. Yep, it was great! Also having the washer and dryer was so nice. Spent most time on the lanai and what a view! It all created one great time!

Victoria S.
August 2014
The house is AMAZING and has everything needed for a great time. We barbequed twice and had breakfast and cocktails everyday on the Lanai. The outdoor shower that is adjacent to the entrance into the downstairs bathroom is so convenient it is genius! The view is spectacular, even from the laundry shed which also holds everything for a great time at the beach! We left some beach mats which I hope will add to the collection. The rocks across the street make for a great perch to watch the beautiful sunsets and my uncle quite enjoyed Macarthur beach down the street.

April 2014
The Laguna Beach House was amazing. It suited the 6 of us greatly. Everything is top quality. We especially liked the beach chairs, towels, and outdoor showers. The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen very well-stocked. I loved having plenty of hangers to hang my clothes. From the lanai to eat our great meals and watch the whales, to the beautiful beach across the street--awesome. A special thank you to Chad for all of his help. He was great to work with. We will be back. Mahalo!

December 2013
Our week stay at this beautiful home was so relaxing! Everything is in pristine condition with every amenity included. The location is perfect for sightseeing and is also on the sunny side of the island! Loved watching the sunrises and sunsets on the lanai. Had much fun at the beach just across the street! Even spotted whales frolicking in December! Would highly recommend this as the place to stay.

November 2013
My wife and I recently stayed in this home for our honeymoon. It was absolutely perfect. Coming from the city, we were looking for a place "away from it all." The neighbor house is close, but no one was there during our stay. We enjoyed the lanai's and prepared a number of meals in the well-equipped kitchen. You can't beat the view, and the home was like new! We took a Na Pali Coast tour from Makana Charters out of the Kekaha harbor - very convenient. The beaches on the West side of the island are virtually empty, especially during the week. Close access to Waimea Canyon, and a number of great shops and restaurants in Waimea, Hanapepe, and Kalaheo. We drove around the entire island, which took about 2.5 hours. My only recommendation to the property owners would be to upgrade the pillows. They were a bit hard and uncomfortable. Scott was great to work with and did a very good job communicating with me. Overall, I cannot recommend this property enough.

July 2013
In short - stay at this house!! What a beautiful home!! We (3 couples) came to Kauai to celebrate our parent's 35th anniversary. It was absolutely perfect. To say this home has been renovated is an understatement. It was probably the nicest house I have ever stayed in. Every moment possible was spent on the lanai watching the crashing waves and gorgeous sunsets. We had so much fun touring the gorgeous views around the island. Everything you would ever need is already at the house - boogie boards, beach towels, kitchen utensils, etc. The house is beachfront and while the beach right in front of the house is rocky, about a mile to the right is a gorgeous, secluded white sand beach perfect for swimming, boogie boarding, snorkeling, and relaxing. It was perfect because the road doesn't end too far after that, so it was like we had our own beach! The weather was a high of 85 and low of 70 + sunny every day. The hiking in Kauai is amazing - definitely go to the top of Waimea canyon (only a few miles away) for the best view on the whole island. The farmers markets were fantastic as well - fresh coconuts and chocolate covered bananas were our favorite! Highly recommend going to Costco at the beginning of the stay and cooking/grilling every meal. Oh, and there are a ton of chickens. Everywhere. It's funny. Everything about or stay was great, we highly recommended staying here!

March 2013
This home exceeded our expectations especially after a week in Kona at a "luxurious" house that was not so special. We can't say enough about our week at Laguna Beach House. Beautifully decorated, fully equipped with all the necessities and then some and a view to enjoy all day long. There was not one thing wrong with this experience. Definitely have cocktails on the deck between 4-5pm and expect to see Humpbacks spy-hoping, breaching, tail slapping and just playing as they travel past on their migration (this is a Spring experience). It was breathtaking. We all felt so lucky to be in the right place at the right time. Thanks to Scott for letting us know we could anticipate this amazing show! Be sure to visit Island Taco in Waimea. Great food. Without question we would return to this property or any other of Scott's properties because they have be created to suit a travelers needs; very well thought out and extremely clean.

November 2012
This was the perfect get away. We came as two couples. Home layout was such that each couple had their own suite. The third bedroom we did not use. The home was modern, spotlessly clean, appeared brand new, beautifullly decorated, and had EVERYTHING you could need or want inside. The views from upstairs and downstairs are beautiful. It was quiet, and in a safe peaceful area. The decks afforded us much enjoyment as we watched the boats go by and listened to the waves. I would return here again, and again. The home was so beautiful that I was eager to return after each outting. I truly was just like home. Kitchen is upstairs, so if you have trouble on stairs, you need to know that. We did not have any issues with that, and we are all in our 50's.

May 2012
I spent my most fulfilling holidays at Kauai. The island is wonderful for swimming and hiking. The house is spacious, luxurious and full of light with view on the ocean from two bedrooms, two living rooms and a shower. Sitting on one of the three lanais, listening to the sound of the waves, birds and grasshoppers during a starry night was my favorite. The house including kitchens and everything imaginable for the beach are well equipped beyond imagination. Ready to enjoy your holidays
