We were very pleased with our rental. The house was as advertised - actually a bit nicer! Clean, spacious with a cute yard and easy walk to a spectacular beach. Well located for exploring Kauai. As stated, the A/C is only for the bedrooms, but that was completely adequate. The kitchen was very well appointed and we enjoyed cooking during our stay.

Loved the property and proximity to the beach and Hanalei town. The property is on the highway but it is not loud. The views of the mountains from the front door and kitchen window are spectacular. House was very clean and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely property within walking distance to the beach. Has A/C in the two bedrooms but not the main living area. Owner has provided 4 fans to help but still quite warm in the main living areas. Property managers are very responsive and helpful and were great helping us when we had unexpected changes in our plans.

Clean, great back yard, kitchen has everything you need. Great to AC in the downstairs bedrooms as the breeze just did not go through the living room and kitchen. Fans helped. Parking is easy and very close to town.

This home is just about as perfect as it gets for a stay on the North Shore. It's close enough to Hanalei town that you can drive in a few minutes or walk in 10-15, but also far enough away that it's quiet and peaceful. We were blown away at the beauty just outside the doorstep, not to mention everywhere we ventured during our week on Kauai. The beach is a two-minute walk away. One tip - when you walk to the beach, you go right to go into town and to the pier. But don't forget to walk left at least once, because you'll come to the confluence of the Waioli stream and the bay, and it's truly a magical spot, especially around sundown.

Great home and location. However, the loft is not usable as they need another ac unit up there. They shouldnt advertise it as a sleeping area. It must be over 100 degrees up there. The twin beds were too small for my 22-year-old so recommend they exchange those for extra-long twins so adult siblings can sleep in the same room. Lots of pots and pans, dishes, newer washer and dryer. Great distance to the beach, coffee, restaurants and stores.

Loved the location! We were at the beach every day and my kids could easily walk to town. Upstairs room is too hot to be slept in so all three of my kids slept in the downstairs room. Beach toys were great! Only had two rolls of toilet paper in the house, no trash bags and no laundry detergent so that was kind of annoying but I just bought some and left them at the house.

This property was wonderful for our two boys (6 and 7) and myself w our nanny. The location couldn’t be better, as you are close to the beach and to town. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with a spacious cooking area and dining room. We really felt like we had room to spread out. We really appreciated the boogie boards and sun chairs that were available for our use. This is a wonderful property and we will definitely be back!

This was our 4th stay on the North Shore of Kauai and this house was hands-down the most convenient location. My family likes to surf and being right on Hanalei allowed us to pick up the boards and go whenever we wanted.
The house was clean and very spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking hardware you'll need. Having beach chairs and umbrellas was nice and we used those each day as well.
Our only minor critique would be that the shower heads need to be replaced or de-scaled. The water pressure was not good and it would have been nice to get a solid shower after a long day at the beach.

We stayed in the smaller half of the duplex, which was perfect. We were very close but not on top of my daughter and her family. Everything was as advertised, except that the dryer didn't work, but there was a taped note above it saying that a part had been ordered. Fortunately we could go next door to do laundry. Also the street was noisy and hard to walk along into town, but doable without young kids. The walk to the beach was easy.

A great stay overall. The house is on the smaller side, but very cosy and comfortable (we are a family of 4). It has great views to the mountains with a short walk to the beach. If you are up to for a longer walk, you can get to BigSave and other shops in about 10min (use Weke Rd, as Kuhio Hwy doesn't have a sidewalk in some places).

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days and wish we could have stayed longer! You can not ask for more when it comes to location for a property. You are just minutes walking distance to downtown Hanalei and you basically roll out of bed onto Hanalei Bay beach! It is also just a quick minute drive to beautiful tunnels beach and the drop off point for the Kalalau Trailhead. There was a really cute farmer market on Tuesday afternoon as well in walking distance from the house. We got to try a bunch of new fruits and purchase them for snack at the house! The washer and dryer was an amazing bonus as well! We would absolutely recommend this property!

This property is located about two weeks from the beach, which is fantastic. It was clean, comfy, and well equipped.
As noted in the listing, only the bedrooms are air conditioned, and the living area can get a bit warm if you're used to cooler climates.
While internet was provided, it was a bit slow, though I suspect that's probably just Hanalei.
Overall, this was a great place to stay for our vacation, and will serve you especially well if your plan is to spend a lot of time at Hanalei bay.

The property was great and the location is unbeatable. Great places to eat all around you and a very short walk to the beach. Also close to tunnels beach. This place is comfortable with great views right out of the kitchen window. Nice outdoor shower to help you get all the dirt off after a hike on the Na’Pali coast or get the sand off from a day at the beach. Would definitely recommend staying here in Hanalei Bay.

We had a beautiful stay in Hanalei! Appreciated the short walk to Hanalei Bay for sunrise and sunset and the 10-minute stroll to Hanalei's main strip of restaurants and shops.
The beds were very comfortable, and the AC units in the lower two bedrooms worked great. The bathrooms were nice and updated with plenty of linens (note: bring shampoo, conditioner, and body wash!).
The kitchen is very spacious and stocked for cooking and meal prep. I also appreciated the open layout for lounging after long days of outdoor activities.
Everything was clean and well-marked in the space.
We had two different neighbors in the duplex and never heard any noise from the other unit.
There's some road noise from Kuhio Highway, but it didn't disturb our sleep and we were out and about for most of our stay.

proximity to Hanalei town and north shore activities was 10/10. The back yard space was confining with the foliage encasing it, but some might like for total privacy. The unit was clean and kitchen was updated and well equipped. one old tv not smart and could not get to work. dryer rusty and appears on last leg. locks on sliding glass doors x2 inoperable and required wooden poles for security. 1 of 2 louvre doors in front of laundry off track just propped against a wall. shower fixture in primary bath also on last leg and unsatisfying shower. IMO, for price, property should have been in better repair. Worst selection of water toys, and and though property does not supply, at least they could discard the broken stuff in the disorganized closet.

Perfect house and location for our family of 5 and a friend that joined. The beach is a short walk and town is about a 0.5 mile walk. For the price, you can’t beat the location. The house was very open and roomy and the kitchen was well appointed. There was lots of beach gear to utilize which made everything that much more convenient! We had zero issues and can’t wait to get back to Hanalei!! Super easy and quick communication with the rental management company as well.

The property was a great spot for our group staying in our favorite part of the island. The property itself had a huge common space with open kitchen and seating options that we utilized often. The air-conditioned bedrooms made for nice sleeping and comfortable beds. The loft was nice and private however does get warmer, but both a ceiling fan and floor fans are available which helps. The backyard is private and the outdoor shower there is helpful for rinsing sand and is open to the backyard. The beach chairs came in handy along with the umbrella and boogie boards. The walk to the beach is super fast and the walk to town is about 10-15 minutes along the main road. Overall, it was a great property and I would definitely stay again!

We loved this unit in Hanalei. It had an amazing kitchen and large dining/living room. The unit was in short walking distance to the beach. This space felt the most like home of any of the places we stayed in Kauai. It’s truly special.

My sister and I felt so lucky to stay at this property in Hanalei. It was just a block's walk away from the beach and either a 10 min walk or short drive into town. It was super clean and the kitchen was excellent. It had beach towels for us to use and a cute veranda backyard for relaxing in the evening. I loved the loft area and used it for afternoon naps :)
The only challenge we had was the internet being really slow. I had to work from home at the start of the trip and wasn't able to send a PPT presentation over email/ my zoom video was very glitchy.

This house was the perfect location for our group of 6. We had a wonderful time for the most part. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The beach chair and cooler were a plus. I would not however recommend to a group over 4. The loft room is unbearable at night despite the fans. I agree with another review that there needs to be additional pillows and the WiFi is close to non existent. Otherwise for a small group this is a perfect house to rent.

The location of this place plus the split bedrooms drew us to this home. The location was perfect being under a mile from shops, restaurants, groceries and literally a block from the sand and bay. The house was very clean and well stocked with just about everything you could need. AC in the bedrooms made sleep possible but the rest of the home was quite warm/humid (which we knew about when we booked) but they had several oscillating fans which helped circulate fresh air through the home. When we were actually at home we were typically on the lanai anyway which is very nice and fairly private. The outdoor shower was also amazing to sand off gear and kids 😁.
Only cons I can really think of :
•the master shower head needs help. Sprays everywhere.
•a few more pillows in the home would be a nice touch. 1 flat pillow pp was a bit uncomfortable
•a few more storage drawers in the bedrooms would also add to long term rentability
For the price there could have been a few more touches, i.e. shampoo in the showers, more dish soap and paper products. With the road closures it was not easy to "leave town" and the only store in town was expensive and often out of stock. Definitely not deal breakers however and given the crazy climate totally understandable.
All in all we had a wonderful stay and would recommend for families looking to be close to the fun and beauty of Hanalei (waterfall views directly out the kitchen window). This home was a great home base for all our adventuring. We love Hanalei and can't wait to come back!

This was very well situated home and we could easily walk to the food trucks and town. One big disappointment for us was the internet. I could not get it to work. It only worked on one of the devices which was very limiting, so if you need to work remotely it could be hard.
