Central air conditioning is offered throughout the villa, while the open floor plan, ceiling fans and multiple sliding glass doors create delightful cross breezes. A regal foyer opens to the great room offering ocean and sunset views from the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Elegant Fine Design interior decor echoes the tones of the nearby Pacific. Exquisite natural light, high valance ceilings and gorgeous woodwork highlight the refined furnishings and fixtures.
The koa framed recessed living room offers a flat screen TV with Sonos speaker bar. A fully equipped wet bar is located just off the living area and the formal dining area seats eight. The gourmet kitchen is outfitted with granite countertops, sandstone backsplash, and high end appliances including a Miele espresso maker.
The primary suite is furnished with a king bed, flat screen TV, Mayumi Oda artwork, and sliding doors to the lanai and pool deck. The ensuite primary bath has dual sinks, extra vanity area, flat screen TV, water closet, walk-in shower and outdoor shower garden.
Two twin beds, which can convert to a king upon request, outfit the second bedroom along with a flat screen TV, access to a private courtyard, and an adjacent full bath with walk-in shower. The third bedroom offers two queen beds, flat screen TV, ocean views, sliding door to upper lanai, and ensuite full bath with walk-in shower. The fourth bedroom is outfitted with two twin beds (can convert to a king upon request), flat screen TV, ensuite full bath, plus sliding doors to a private courtyard with outdoor shower garden.

This is a great home. It doesn't feel like a rental house. It is well stocked and spacious, and the outdoor/pool area is great. We did not really use the indoor/outdoor features since it was too hot. Other than a few minor things (WiFi was weak for example),we had a fantastic stay and hope to rent this home again. NOTE: We had to move to a different house due to the wildfires. This review is for Kaunaoa 7B at Hapuna Beach residences.

Excellent time with the family. Easy access to the beach and pool. With the resort pass you can also use the Westin Resort which has the better pool for young kids. The service was excellent as was the food at the restaurants.
We definitely plan on doing it again next year.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful villa with 3 other couple friends, and we had a fantastic time! The management company converted the twin beds in two of the bedrooms to king beds, so it worked very well for 8 adults. The furnishings were lovely, we had plenty of space to spread out, and we enjoyed the private pool and large deck during the afternoons and at sunset. The short walk down to the Mauna Kea Resort center and beach was great. We enjoyed the Hapuna Resort as well, which has been recently renovated - cocktails in the adults only infinity pool overlooking the ocean was to die for, and Meridia Restaurant was a real delight as well. The entire experience was wonderful - highly recommend!

This is a lovely home with amazing views and great walking access to the beach, golf course, and hotel. The rooms and the decor are done to perfection. It is great for a couple, a small family, or for a group of 8-10. I loved taking an outdoor shower in the evening before relaxing on the lanai to enjoy the pool and views. I highly recommend this gorgeous home, and we will be returning!

This home is beautiful! It has great space and is such an easy walk down to the hotel and beach. The rooms have lovely decor and a Hawaiian flair. The sunsets are amazing overlooking the private pool and the ocean. It easily slept 8 people for us, but it could have slept 10. I would highly recommend this gorgeous villa at Mauna Kea.

I cannot say enough about Villa #21 and Elite Vacation Rentals. From initial booking to our departure, nothing was missed (and if it was, it was rectified immediately). Kirsten and Colby were attentive yet unobtrusive, and always available to answer questions. The villa is new to the rental market, impeccably clean and stocked well beyond typical rentals (think rice cooker! Shampoo/conditioner/shower gel in every bathroom - including the outdoor showers! Boogie boards, snorkel gear - you name it, it was there!). It is a <5 minute drive to MK Beach Hotel, and centrally located to the airport and towns of Waimea and Kawaihae.
We travelled with both our moms (in their 70's), two teenage kids and their friends (8 total). More than enough space for all, and the plunge pool was perfect for afternoon conversation and cooling off after a day of sightseeing or at the beach. We ordered groceries to be available on arrival, and everything was fresh, organic where requested, and organized beautifully.
We happened to be at the villa during the beginning of construction on the unit next door (about which we were warned prior to arriving, but after booking) and although it was loud during some (not all) of the days, we were never awakened nor bothered during all-important sunset cocktails. Elite handled this situation so professionally. Their customer service really is unparalleled.
We chose to purchase resort access, and were able to use both the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beaches (although Hapuna Prince Hotel is also under construction, the public part of the beach is as gorgeous and not a jackhammer could be heard). Charging privileges were available to us, and the kids had a blast renting SUPs and surfboards, not to mention consuming multiple virgin piña coladas.
One week wasn't enough, and we plan to return for two next year!
