We stayed in Maui Ekahi 25C in early December 2023. The unit itself is nicely decorated and the furniture is in good, newish shape. Unfortunately we didn’t find that it was very clean upon arrival and is definitely in need of a good deep clean. There was liquid spilled down the wall and onto the floor. Food spilled on the outside of cabinets, the bath mat was filthy. When I went to wash it the machine smelled quite badly of mold. There were many many cobwebs on the ceiling in the bathroom with tiny spiders. We did some cleaning and settled in. The unit has beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler for use which is nice. The complex, which we have stayed at many times, has a great lower pool but really does need more loungers with shade for the amount of people using them.

Very nice unit was clean and had everything we needed for cooking and dining. The property is great with multiple pools and beach access. No view from the patio for those looking for that, was near road but didn’t bother us at all as well the plants provide privacy. The Murphy bed in living room was great for our children to sleep comfortably. There are beach chairs, umbrella and toys included. Would suggest an upgrade to bedroom pillows and linens to make more comfortable. Recommend and would stay again.

Really enjoyed the pool and pavillion, beach, and BBQ area. Our condo needs some definite updating. The refrigerator in the unit was not the one normally in the unit, and it was very small. All of the kitchen cabinet drawers and doors were loose or falling off. The unit was full of laminated notes of what "not" to do; very annoying.

Liked the layout of the unit, with two nice lanais (one off the livingroom, and one off the bedroom). The pavillion at the pool with BBQs and kitchen was very nice, and we enjoyed using it on a couple of occasions. The beach area in front of the complex was also very enjoyable.
However, there were a few things we considered to be problems. First off, there was a small refrigerator in the unit as it was very apparent that they had taken the regular fridge out of the unit . Not a whole lot of room in the fridge for a place that recommends keeping all your food in the fridge due to bugs. Most of the cabinet doors and draw faces in the kitchen were loose and popping off when we opened them. The keurig didn't work, the washing machine always smelled (even when left open as asked to), and the complex map is deceptive as to how close to the beach the unit is. Lastly, the owner had lamenated cards tacked up all over the unit, informing us what NOT to do in the unit. I have never stayed anywhere that had such a long "do not" list. We were traveling with our best friends and their unit didn't have any "do not" notes or any problems with appliances and such.

Nice apartment. Terse communication I would look for a friendlier company next time.the apartment had everything described. The location is close to street so street noise but easy to find. The beach associated us great.. family friendly. The Pavillion is great.. we spent a day there. Eould have been great if home had provided info about beach walk. We didn't find out until last day. Restuarant available at the next resort over if you don't want to drive. Th comminication is very corporate. You are renting from large corp. No options or suggestion yo help poor tourist. Uou can rent directly from complex them you get a person. The complex is a lot of rentals so quite dead.

My family and I had a great stay in this unit. It had everything we needed in a vacation rental (well-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and a/c). All the ameneties listed were enough for the 4 nights we stayed. The location was perfect for attending a wedding in the Wailea/Kihei area. We enjoyed the pools, beach pavilion and easy access to the beach. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed with family and friends in other units of Waimea Ekahi for a wedding during the week. Truly great stay with great beach and grill/pool area. First time in Hawaii and I hope to come back again!

Property had a great location. Some previous reviews stated that it was close to the road. You can hear the road but if you are eager to get up early and seize the days on your vacation it is manageable. Well stocked kitchen and outdoor supplies. Great deck to get some much needed shade on hot days. Longer walk to beach than some units and same complex but not an issue for us. Had a great time and enjoyed the Hawaii themed decor.

Well-appointed condo in a complex we have stayed in quite a few times already. Close to one of the quiet pools, bbq and tennis court. Well stocked with everything we needed for a week in Maui (cups, plates, cooking utensils, beach chairs & umbrella, towels etc). The lanais do face Okolani drive, so can be a bit louder with traffic noise, but this didn't bother us. We will stay here again!

We loved the Wailea Ekahi Resort. The grounds are beautiful and the new pavilion is amazing. The pools and beach access are fantastic. We did not love the condo though. It is outdated but nicely decorated and clean, and had everything we needed. But it is right on the main road, which is loud. We could not sit outside on the lanai due to noise. We also could not drink the tap water as it tasted terrible. Perhaps an inline filter would be a worthy investment. We hated buying bottled water (waste) but didn't have much choice. The rental property management was responsive and courteous.

We spent 7 nights in this great condo with the perfect floor plan. It’s really well equipped with everything you’d need for a stay in Maui (water toys, beach towels and chairs, coolers, ice blocks, and a fully stocked kitchen). The Murphy bed was so much more comfortable than a sofa bed. Breakfasts on the lanai were lovely. Even though it’s facing the main road, the traffic noise didn’t really bother us. Wish we’d stayed longer!

We loved unit 25C at the Ekahi Village. Great decor and amenities. We were thrilled to use the boogie boards, snorkel gear, and other bonuses we found. The pools and beach were great. It was easy to walk right to the beach at all times of the day for boogie boarding, tide pooling or early morning snorkeling. A big turtle came up to say hi in ankle deep water right at our feet! We also enjoyed the outdoor pavillion - perfect hangout spot with our friends that were staying in other units. Thank you for a wonderful time!

This property was lovely. Clean, spacious, with everything we needed for a great week. Thoughtful notes to help navigate things and lovely local decor on the walls. Murphy bed was as comfortable as any other bed and very easy to pop up and down. It was very well-equipped and had everything we needed and more (e.g. a smaller cooler for day trips). We stayed for a week and didn't have to purchase any of the standard goods (dishwasher or laundry soaps, TP, garbage bags, etc) because they stocked necessary quantities of each. Everytime we searched the cupboards to find something, we found good quality items to match what we were looking for. The few questions I had were answered quickly and kindly by the property managers. Thanks for the lovely experience. I would definitely rent this condo again.

Only reason for giving a good on cleanliness is that the plumbing backed up. However the property manager reacted quickly and had the problem resolved and immediately sanitized the unit. Wailea Ekahi is a great place to spend your vacation; beautiful grounds, beach, lots of amenities. We have stayed here before in a different unit and loved it. Our unit for this visit was a slight disappointment, however, it was exactly as described and was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to cook and have beach fun. The unit was on the first floor and bordered the resort. It was shady and did not get much natural light and the road it was on was busy. We were fore warned about these things, so I don’t want to be negative as it was well appointed, clean and well provisioned. I just think next time I would prefer to be a little closer to the beach and or view and stay in a sunnier quieter spot.

Had a great Maui vacation, enjoyed all Ekahi Village had to offer. This unit is close to the pickle ball courts which was fun for the adults and kids. And quick walk to the beach. Nice that the unit provided beach chairs. Also loved having access to washer & dryer in unit after a day at the beach.

Stayed in ekahi village 25c for 12 days. Enjoyed everything about the property. Condo had everything we needed. The condo and grounds are so well kept. The second bed was a little small for 2 teenagers it would be fine for younger children. Unfortunately the condos no longer have there own bbq’s. It was a long walk to the pool house to bbq anything. Hopefully there will be more bbq stations installed around the property in the future.

Good: Overall a nice condo. Saw some children; everyone is very friendly & helpful. Interior colors/decorating, furniture, washer & dryer, beautiful grounds - immaculate landscaping, pool next to beach with chairs, showers, grills, restrooms, parking for beach, supplied towels, cooler, chairs & toys for beach, shopping mall, grocery store and restaurants close by.
Bad: Not so easy walk to beach & pool (large hill or lots of steps), main pool by beach is heated; however, 2 pools up hill are not and are freezing cold. Condo, while clean and decorated nice, is older/dated and needs remodeled to updated standards like other condos in the complex (cabinets & hardware, shower, kitchen tile, ceiling fans & air conditioning), air conditioner is very loud & broke down while we were there & couldn't get parts quickly (you're on an island - haha). Needs an exterminator - got ants on the kitchen counter daily - can't leave anything on countertops. Bedroom has sheer/see thru curtain - need to replace with thick curtains for privacy and to block out sun. 2 condos nearby are under construction/remodel, so there is some loud noise 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Is next to main road - was not an issue for us, but you can hear cars; however, unit is surrounded by large trees, bushes & has privacy. Would be nice to have an alarm clock in bedroom.

We loved the property; location and area vibe. The beach was absolutely gorgeous. The pools were a great temperature. Public areas were not crowded. We enjoyed the shuffle board and pickle ball. Overall a great place to spend time together.
The snorkeling was fabulous. We had several up close and personal experiences with the sea turtles. The water was delightful at all times.
We did have trouble locating our property as the address lead us to the other side of the resort and late at night (dark) caused some undue searching up and down the wrong road. Having a map of the property with the surrounding roads would have helped. We did print one out the next day.
Also the grill was a disappointment, as the picture on line was of a regular sized gas grill. We ended up with a small electric one. We had guests from the island on the way for dinner by the time I checked the grill; we opted to use the oven. One of the reasons we picked this unit was to have an outdoor grill.
Don't get me wrong, we enjoyed our stay immensely and would stay again in the future and will recommend this property. We would make sure we had a gas grill at the least.

We really enjoyed this condo, it was just as advertised. Although it is along a busier road, the road noise did not bother us at all. The Wailea Ekahi grounds are simply beautiful and so well maintained and you have access to a gorgeous beach and miles of paved walking trail along the back side of other resorts. It was a delightful place to stay, we would return. Rentals Maui was very communicative, which we appreciated. Would rent thru them again.

Pictures and description of condo were right on. Close to a great beach and two pools. I didn't discover the beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkel gear until three days in. Also, I am really bad with tv controls. We have never had cable and we couldn't stream to the tv from the phone or computer. Maybe better instructions are needed for the electronically challenged.
We stayed for two weeks, so my only complaint was that the vacuum didn't work very well and there was a great deal of lint and sand in the dryer lint trap. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and hope they will have us back.

Wonderful place to stay, large space and the two lanais and washer/dryer was great. The number one issue was the pillows on the bed which were all way too flat and uncomfortable. Also the cookware needs to be replaced. But other than that, the place is great and the very close beach is beautiful!
