It would have been nice to get more consideration for early check-in. Even having the opportunity to drop off luggage and/or groceries. While I realize these are rentals and not likely to have high quality furnishings, some minor upgrade would be nice and not terribly expensive. At a minimum, invest in a higher table and chairs for the lanai and a screen for the left side. It’s a shame to sit at that table and have the railing at eye level blocking what would be a gorgeous view.

Good location in south Kihei. Condo is sufficient with AC only in the bedroom so fans are required to cool the living room. Cockroaches in the kitchen every morning in spite of storing all food in the fridge. I suppose this is typical for the tropics and unit was tented the day after we checked out so that might help. Supplies are sparse but sufficient. I failed to add my spouse when reserving and was supplied with two bath towels and a beach towel. A call to My Perfect Stays and this was corrected. $300 in Corian, pots and pans and silverware would improve the kitchen and an area rug in the living room would also help. All in all, a good value for the price and we would stay here again.

I own a unit in the complex that was undergoing plumbing issues so i am very familiar with everything. First there were the cockroaches in the kitchen as soon as the lights were turned off. We haven't had this issue in our unit. They came out and sprayed and placed bait stations immediately but we stii had them for the next three nights. I would suggest they focus on sealing the gaps between the cabinets and walls and fill in the holes as well. This next item is a suggestion. The louvered window in the bedroom doesn't close all the way and leaks the air conditioned air out through the gaps in the louvers so much so that i think it forces the a/c unit to run a lot more than necessary. We replaced the louvers in our unit recently and it did wonders for the cooling. If you want the company's name let me know. The last item is understandable but should be addressed. The fires started 2 days before we left. The day before we left i called the property management group 3 or 4 times and left messages about what the options are if our flight is delayed or canceled. No return calls. I hope everyone is well. You might want to think of a backup return call system so all your renters aren't left in limbo. We haven't yet received a call 2 days later after we left. Again probably due to the fires but a backup plan is needed. Thank you and hope all is ok. bill

This condo was clean and well stocked. I would've given it a higher rating if we hadn't had a bunch of roaches show up in the kitchen on the second night of our stay. I know that these things are really hard to control, but we have stayed in many condos on Maui while visiting family and have never encountered roaches before. We had family members staying in a nearby complex and ended up doing all our cooking and eating over at their unit because of the bugs in ours. I called the management the next morning after we discovered them and the person said that he would have the unit sprayed before the next guests arrived which didn't help us at all. We were not offered any compensation for all the trouble it caused us.

Great location, walking distance to restaurants and beaches. the park across the street is the perfect spot to enjoy Maui's breathtaking sunsets. The condo was exactly what we were looking for, spacious for a 1 bedroom, nice big shower, a well stocked kitchen and a balcony with a good view. The complex is well maintained. We truly enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Hale Kamaole. The unit was perfect for what we needed. I really appreciated all the beach supplies, especially the umbrella, chairs, towels, and boogie board. IT was such easy access to the beach and watching the sunset. We will be back.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this unit--we love it. It is clean, quiet and has a view of the gardens and water. We always have clear communications from the property management resulting in a hassle free stay--we will be back.

We enjoyed our stay. Condo was comfortably furnished. We spent a lot of time at the beautiful sandy beach, Kamaole III right across the street. Appreciated the well stocked beach apparatus; umbrella, nice comfy chairs, boogie board, and fins. It is great walking distance to stores and lots of restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials, however a few more bowls would be good as we were always having to wash them. Hard to get use to the cockroaches, especially when opening a drawer and having them skittle across cutlery etc. as we do not have them where we live, are they a common thing in Hawaii in all homes? Would it be helpful if the garbage under the sink had a lid? Overall, we had a great time, the weather was perfect!

We have stayed at Hale Kamaole several times but not at this unit. We chose it because of the ocean view and the reviews. It was very clean with every we needed and the management was very helpful with a few questions we had. Very positive experience!

Loved the house, more then enough room. Location is great, unfortunately the landlord needs to replace the water heater so we were without hot water during our stay which made this very difficult. Wi-Fi and cable also went out so we had multiple people visit to Maitenence items during our trip.

Great location, directly across Kamaole beach 3, with the most amazing sunsets! Short walk to stores and restaurants. We really enjoyed all the space both inside and out. The huge green space and pool area were wonderful for the kids to play! The place came with everything that you would need for the beach & pool. They even had tennis racquets ;-)
The place inside was as pictured but, It felt dated. The sofa bed was very old and not comfortable. The King bed, on the other hand was very comfortable. The bathroom light wasn’t working when we got there but they came the next day and fixed it quickly!

The condo was great, clean with no carpets. The balcony was a bit worrisome as there were warning on the patio not to lean on the railings. A fire alarm went off for over an hour in the middle one night, we ended up having to call 911 as there was no one from the building around. We received no compensation for this inconvenience.

The condos are set in a really nice and convenient part of Kihei. There is beach access right across the street and then some. Walking distance to food and shopping. The condo itself is older and has older appliances and such, but everything is still working. The place was nice and clean upon arrival. I think it’s important to note there is no AC, but they have fans and a swamp cooler in the bedroom. Fans are older and barely push out any air, but even with that, it still remained pretty cool in the condo with the shades down and windows closed. We had a bit of delay in communication with ‘myperfectstays’ as we thought they only left us 2 towels for 4 people for 5 days. It took them 3 days of our stay to get in touch with us about the towels, but by that time we discovered more towels in the drawers of the bathroom. Oops! The price we paid was well worth the stay and convenience of location. The condo staff were also super nice!

Nicely renovated condo in a complex that is a one minute walk from the beach. Not much noise from Kihei road. Very clean and well outfitted. Plenty of natural light. Second floor. Loved it and would stay here again.

Very clean and uncluttered. The location is convenient to go to the beaches and enjoy the sunsets. The kitchen has most everything you need to cook meals for your family. Some more dishes would be nice; small bowls and plates, cups and a pair of kitchen scissors. Other than that we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. By the way, they did have tennis racquets contrary to what we were told. We would rent this unit again!!

We enjoyed the beach chairs and beach supplies and even added to the pile by leaving our body board there. The beach was so conveniently located across the street. It was handy and social to go out and use the communal barbecues . The bed was a bit soft for my liking but the pull out was decent. We found the key pad front lock so handy because we didn't have to share or worry about keys. Overall a very pleasant lodging!

The location of the condo right across the street from Kamaole Beach III is wonderful. There is even a crosswalk. The beach is great for swimming, snorkeling, and just hanging out. You can easily walk to other beaches north and south. It is also easy to walk to good happy hour places, breakfast places, lunch places, etc.
The lanai was very comfortable and a great place for breakfast, coffee, reading, and views of ocean. We even saw spouting whales:)
We got pretty immediate replies when we asked any questions fof agent.
The condo itself was supplied with plenty of pots, pans, etc for cooking, beach gear, and plenty of towels. The bathroom and kitchen facilities all worked fine, the washer and dryer were good too. We did need to buy toilet paper--only 3 rolls supplied--although that is listed in the room info.
The internet was a bit flaky at times, other times it was fine.

The property needs a lot of updating and cleaining. Towels sitting on a/c units to capture water dripping. This specific unit had dirty carpet and bedding. Even a couple of the white towels were stained.

WELL WORTH A RETURN! I was so surprised by this gem. The furniture is so comfy and new. It easily fits a family of 4, no matter what the ages because it is so spacious and clean. OH, and the trade winds that runs through the unit - it felt so good on my skin! I prefer it to a hotel suite for sure! Well stocked with towels, linens, cooking supplies, beach toys, you name it! Such a quiet and peaceful unit. I didn't want to leave. Plus you can't beat the price specials that happen now and again. The management company makes you feel at home and cares for you throughout your stay and I like that a live body answers the phone. A worry free vacation actually can happen. PLUS - So close to Kamaole Beach Park 3! Literally, steps to one of the best beach parks on Maui. (pics make it look further than it is) Turtles galore. Look up the reviews of Kamaole Beach Park 3 on the internet. I did! I can't wait to come back with my family!!
