The pictures gave a very pedestrian description of the view! It was MUCH better in person! The sunsets are incredible. The unit was very well furnished. A short walk to the Shops of Wailea and Monkey Pods (outstanding Mai Tais!!) Seems to be in a safe area. Never felt uncomfortable. We would definitely stay here again! Mahalo!

Perfect for a couple, but I could imagine it’d be perfect for a group of 4 too based on the 2 full bathrooms and the extensive amount of bedding and towels provided. We had everything we needed and everything we wanted. All of the kitchen supplies were the quality you’d hope for in a rental - well above the quality we’re used to! There are also plenty of place settings for 4 people to have a home-cooked meal, and you can sit comfortably at the nice dining table indoors, or at the nice dining table on the larger lanai right off the living room. The views are fantastic, the furniture is high quality and well kept, the appliances are high-end, and you’ve got plenty of space inside to enjoy a well-ACed indoor refuge! The unit is so ideally located, and you can easily walk to the amazing Monkeypod restaurant in one direction, and through the condo complex along the paths down to a wonderful coffee shop, and just a little past that are the shops at Wailea (the best luxury shopping on Maui, and many options for non-luxury stores too!).
I would book my trip to Maui around the availability of this property, it was that perfect for the two of us. Highly recommend, book it!

The condo is situated with one of the best views of the ocean in the entire complex that we have returned to for over 25 years. The condo itself was "tired"; nice upgrades but in need of care. The louvers and screens throughout were very dirty. After our cleanup we enjoyed our stay. We spoke with property management and the owner is making adjustments.

The upstairs condo itself was clean, good layout, air cond worked, nice view of Molokini, appliances worked, had beach towels, beach chairs. We landed 11am and wanted to check-in before regular 4pm check-in so we can go to Costco, so called CBIP. They said condo had not been inspected yet, so after they inspected they will call or text. Never recd either. Complex info said that there were 4 BBQs, however, none were on the complex map. Texted CBIP - they said BBQs are near pools. Not true, BBQ was several hundred feet away near golf course 15th green. Weber BBQ worked good. CBIP staff responds quickly but wish their knowledge of facility was better.

This impeccably decorated and furnished condo is spacious and welcoming from the ocean view deck to the superbly appointed kitchen and living areas. We appreciated being able to walk to a myriad of restaurants, shops and the short drive to nearby beaches and is VERY quiet and the landscaping is lush and manicured. We did have an issue with the TV and were able to have someone come over within minutes.The beach chairs were helpful. I would suggest for every owner on the islands to provide a cooler and umbrella as well as beach chairs.They could be included in the security deposit. This would protect the environment by not having a ton of styrofoam coolers left to dispose of, an would prevent a lot of sunburned guests. Our experience at this condo was extraordinary! We really enjoyed the location close to the best beaches, shops and restaurants. For a one bedroom the condo was very spacious, comfortable and very clean. Loved the decor, kitchen and especially the lanai. We would definitely stay here again. The reservations, arrival info and exit were very smooth. Best place we have ever stayed in Maui and we previously owned a condo in Wailea Palms. Looking to purchase another hopefully in Ekolu.

After reading all the reviews about this property I am here to clarify many of those reviews.
This is from a recent two week stay June 2021
The unit was very clean and neat .
The view is absolutely one of the best in the complex!
Dishes ,pots and pans ,knives. kitchen all in excellent working order and perfect for cooking. Top notch frig ,range , dishwasher micro, .Kitchen totally remodeled and up to date.
Towels all like new and smelling clean and fresh
Both bathrooms in excellent working order and remodeled..
Master Bed very comfortable .Lots of pillows , sheets and bedding all new.
Air conditioning works great..
BBQ grill on patio with extra propane top quality and clean.
Furniture and decor excellent and tasteful.
Shower worked great and was fairly new.
Washer and dryer both in excellent working order.
Supplies such as toilet paper, ,paper towels, sponge ,kleenex all in good supply.
Unit quiet most of the time ,grounds keepers are too early 4:30 a.m. and very loud.
Unit could use more wine glasses and eating utensils.
Only complaint would be for better outdoor patio furniture that is comfortable and new.
Would highly recommend this unit!

This newly upgraded condo was clean and had a beautiful interior. It also had the perfect ocean view from the lanai that you can relax on if you want. The condo is not too far from the Shops of Wailea, so we were able to walk there a couple of days early in the morning. For the most part, we enjoyed our stay, and the only feedback I have is that the bed was a bit uncomfortable and the drainage in the 2nd bathroom shower may to be looked at. When we showered in there, the water was above our ankles instead of properly draining and we did make sure the drain stopper was not on. Hopefully these are easy fixes to enhance the next person’s/family’s stay. Other than these couple of things, I would recommend this property to friends and family.

We were pleasantly surprised about the whole package! Very clean, well appointed, most comfy king bed, amazing views, quiet, awesome stargazing at night, completely private! We've stayed in hotels typically, but with this home, you receive the benefits of quietude, no hotel business, cook or not at your leisure !, and short distance to many wonderful beaches! All of the hotels have public access parking and short paths to the beach. The stay provided boogie boards, sand chairs, beach towels, ice chest, snorkel mask (no fins). Rental for those just a walk away! The central bar at the Grand Wailea perfects an amazing coconut martini and sweet island live music... Just FYI! The beaches just past the Andaz.. Are lovely for snorkeling and boarding ... With 2 restaurants just north on the sand! Great MaiTai at 5 P's.

This place was wonderful and really met our needs. We used the available cooler every day as we were out exploring Maui. The sunsets from the Lanai were beautiful. We walked to shopping, restaurants and the beach walk on several occasions - about a 10 minute walk across the golf course. It was very clean and tastefully furnished. Due to the hill top location there was no need for air conditioning at night. Having the washer and dryer in the unit was very helpful and it worked fine for us. (see other review)
We would stay here again and recommend this property.

This was a really nice condo and I would stay here again. We had a few small issues which we did mention to the property manager who very promptly got back to us. The first issue was that I didn't think it was as clean as it should be for the cleaning fee that you pay. Now maybe I have really high expectations or maybe I'm a bit out of touch with how much it should cost you for a good cleaning of a small apartment. The manager said she would address with the cleaners and offered to bring them back in (which we declined...so as I said it wasn't that bad). We also had a hard time with the washer. If you didn't put something heavy on the lid to hold it down it wouldn't drain because the machine thought the lid was open...again no biggie. The view is amazing and I loved sitting on the lanai each morning for coffee and in the afternoon for happy hour and to watch the sun set. There are some great restaurants near by and the beaches on this side of the island are the best. As I mentioned I would stay here again and I have absolutely no doubts that the cleaning issues will be resolved for the next guests. Aloha.

This was our 7th trip to Maui , but first time to stay in the Wailea area. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and wanted a new experience. After several times searching for different places to stay, we decided on Ekolu 904. With me being a builder and my wife an interior designer, we are particular about the places that we stay.This condo is everything the description says. Nothing was left undone in the remodel.
If you are looking for a place to stay, you should check it out. You cannot beat the rate and the view is spectacular!!!!!!!
We are already planning our trip back next year and will most definitely stay here.

We have been staying in Ekolu for 25 years. This unit is one of the best. The photographs and description are an accurate representation. Awesome remodeling: from the granite kitchen with new appliances to the high beamed ceiling covered with wood. This is the only Ekolu unit we know of that has wood ceilings. It adds so much to the ambiance -- very Hawaiian. The owner has thoughtfully provided any amenities (beach chairs etc) one could want. Even coolers. Oh. Did I mention the view? It's spectacular. With the lavish interior and the awesome view some days we didn't want to leave to go to the beach.

We loved out stay here! The condo is absolutely lovely, beautifully decorated and maintained, and the views are gorgeous. Kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pots, pans etc. Every morning and night we enjoyed dining on the lanai looking out over the golf course to the ocean beyond. Very peaceful and easy access to lovely Wailea beaches. Owner has provided numerous amenities like beach chairs, umbrellas, lots of towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear and (surprisingly!) everything you need for your own personal martini bar (yes we enjoyed that!). We look forward to staying here again.
