This house is superb, not just for its location, ample outdoor area and open concept but the thoughtfulness that went into stocking it with everything you could possibly need. We loved that you can walk to a really peaceful beach with swimming access that was a nice break from the crowds at Hanalei Bay. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back in the future!

The house was a great layout and super clean for a total of 8 of us. 2 adults and six of our young adult children. Equipped with plenty of towels, kitchen equipped to cook a great thanksgiving dinner and lots of other meals , beds were cozy, beach chairs & even emergency sunscreen was under the sink. The deck around the house made for great quiet mornings with the roosters and a quick 4 min walk down a beach path to sunrises and a snorkel swim beach. Plenty of parking and walkable to an ocean view dinner spot with live music. Grocery store was within a quick 12 min drive with gorgeous views, so many hikes. This was a magical place to stay and make memories. We will be back for sure.

This property was great for our family - 5 couples and a couple littles. Very well stocked and close to beach. No a/c but really only got very warm in early evening. We loved our time here and we’re all sorry to leave. Would definitely come back.

Aloha! 4 60 something siblings & 3 spouses had a wonderful stay in the “jungle house”. Great walk to a nice beach to float & watch the sunrise. The house is very nice & everyone was comfortable. A few glitches that Krisha took care of right away. We all enjoyed cooking meals in the fully stocked kitchen & there was plenty of spaces & tables to enjoy them. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, goggles, fins…all there to take to the beach. Mahalo!

This property is absolutely perfect! Our family of eight people were 100% satisfied with everything about the house, location, amenities. We would definitely stay here again. We loved walking to the beach in four minutes, sitting on the wrap around porch for meals, reading, cocktails. A quiet, beautiful area. Thank you!

This home was just as advertised! Clean, spacious, lovely property. Our family, 16-69 yrs, all enjoyed the home and the location. Wrap around porch was so nice, outdoor shower was a huge plus! plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards. Grill was perfect size for 8 of us. Easy check in/out. The county had a water main break, Krisha was a super fast responder to answer questions, offer help.

My family and I had a great stay. Everything was super clean, you had access to a lot of helpful things including extra towels and beach gear. It was also walking distance to the beach and a short drive to Hanalei Bay. We would highly recommend this place.

This property was a dream! When you get to the house there was enough room for three cars to park. There were lots of things around the house that were greatly appreciated. Lots of towels and things in the kitchen you would need. The views were amazing and a great little walk to the beach. There was no AC but you get used to it after a day. The location was absolutely ideal, it is in a quiet little neighborhood and it was just close enough to shops and restaurants. Overall my family and I enjoyed our stay and HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Splendid vacation rental home which we enjoyed immensely. Home has five bedrooms, surrounded by a deck featuring lounge areas, grill, dining table and chairs, with a wonderful view. Home is well equipped with all kitchen necessities, bath and beach towels, etc. I will definitely return again to this wonderful rental.

We found the property just a described, well laid-out, great kitchen and barbecue, right number of bathrooms for our 10-person family, fantastic wrap around balcony and views. It has a calm semi-rural feel, but is close to basic shopping in Hanalei and Princeville. The use of beach chairs, small boards, snorkeling equipment, made everything so easy and relaxed.

Property was as advertised and the family loved their stay. Close to the beach. Walking distance to a cute coffee shop and dinner. Easy access property off the main road. Unfortunately the surf was high during our stay and we were not able to use the snorkeling gear but we did use the cooler and beach chairs/umbrella. We had no need to contact the property manager during our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house has everything you need and is in such a beautiful location.
Krisha & Gloria were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had.
Only suggestion for improvement is that one of the bedrooms doesn’t have a ceiling fan, but apart from that everything was perfect and there are lots of freestanding fans so we put two in that room. Plenty of space inside for large groups.
The big garden (with lemon tree!) and the wrap around lanai were real highlights of the property.

Within a short walk of the beach, and about a mile from Tunnels and Haena beach, and a mile and half to Ke'e, the property is ideally situated for exploring the north shores. For our group of 7, this was spacious, and we could get time apart, as well as time together in the lounge, on the deck or in the kitchen. Super well equipped from the kitchen through to the beach gear shed. We would love to return.

A family of eight from multiple cities met here for week-long stay. We found this property was just the ticket! The home is large, inviting, clean, well-stocked, superbly maintained - basically everything we needed for our stay. The coffee maker's heating element failed mid-stay and I texted Krisha. Voila ... a brand-new coffee maker showed up. Wrap around lanai and backyard mountain views every morning was spectacular. Communications with Krisha was super easy, check in, check out super easy too. Walking distance to great beaches and hiking in Na Pali to Hanakapi'ai Falls. It was great the house had beach chairs, sunshade umbrella, ice chest, etc. This is just a great property. We use VRBO often and this property will not disappoint. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the wrap around lanai. The louvered windows were wonderful for allowing a breeze to come through the house continually. The kitchen has is well stocked with many items for cooking, baking, barbeque, as well as spices and food. The house is very comfortable and spacious.
The location is great for beach going. You can walk less than 5 minutes to a beach. Tunnels is less than 15 minutes on foot. We drove to Anini and Hanalei beaches. Enjoyed snorkeling, boogie boarding, swimming. The beach chairs were great to use. Thank you for a great trip.

We used this property for a family vacation just after New Years with ourselves and 6 adult children and partners (8 total). The house was wonderful. Everyone had a bedroom. Check in was perfect even though we arrived late. The property was immaculate. Bed linens and towels were great. Plenty of beach towels. Two washers and dryers were a help! A well stocked kitchen allowed us to eat in most meals. The grill was great for steaks, burgers and fish. There was a lime tree in the back for lime tart! There were 1-2 sliders onto the 360 surround porch from every bedroom - that way everyone can hear the roosters! Minimal traffic sounds. Faint sounds of waves about 2 blocks away. Parking for two cars pretty easy. Boogie board, umbrellas, 6 beach chairs, cooler and snorkling gear for the beach. The beach is a short walk away - Tunnels was a longer walk but doable. January swimming was not in the cards for this beach but there are beaches to drive to with ease. Internet was reliable. We didn't watch TV. We would definitely book again!!!

Space was a wonderful gathering space between Kauai adventures. Host was very responsive. Walking distance from the beach and driving distance from a variety of beaches. The house has a wonderful kitchen, which with restaurants still being at lower capacity, was wonderful! Shopping is relatively close. I would recommend stopping in Lihue to get groceries, as options are limited in Hanalei Bay and Princeville. So much to explore and enjoy. Space to be together and spread out as desired.

Very roomy house that was a good fit for our extended family group.
360 degrees of covered porch was nice for sitting outside and keeping the rain and sun off. Also covered deck on lower level and a nice grassy back yard. Big plus was a lime tree in the yard that (in late August) was bursting with ripe fruit. Best daiquiris ever! Nice new Weber gas grill.
House was well stocked with big towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards.
Two block path to get to the beach right outside the house. The beach right at the house is nice for going for a walk or to hang for a book read or quick swim. For a full day at the beach, we most often did the short car schlep to Tunnels, Haena, Ke'e or Hanalei Bay. You can beach walk over to Tunnels, but going through the deep sand is a slog. Much easier to walk along the road to get to Tunnels.
Nice quiet neighborhood fairly close to Tunnels and the road end at Haena and Ke'e. 12-15 minute drive (and multiple one lane bridges) to get into Hanalei town. I liked being more away from town. But others in our group might have liked being a stroll or bike ride from town.
House does not have AC. With all the sliders open and the ceiling fans on, it was fine (we were there end of August, mid-80s temps) for morning, evening and sleeping. Would be a little warm if you were inside the house during mid-day.

We loved our stay here and would highly recommend this place. House was very comfortable and well appointed for my family of 5. Could have easily slept 2-3 more people. Beautiful views from porch into forest provided great place to relax, do yoga or lay in the hammock. Would recommend getting bikes delivered so u can ride down the street to Tunnels or just a few miles to end of road to reach Ke’e beach. Although u need to a permit to hike or go to Ke’e during day, u can go in the evening without a permit and enjoy the beach with very few people. Also loved riding bikes to Limahuli Gardens. Such a beautiful garden with amazing views. We had fun hanging out at the beach and boogie boarding at Haena state beach with boards, beach chairs and umbrellas provided at the house. Can’t wait to visit again!

Great time had by all. We were unaware of the road issues when we booked but that had good and bad aspects. Good was the north shore was quieter than expected, but during the week getting south was a pain. Location is convenient for tunnels but we weren’t able to get access to Na Pali and Haena parks due to an impossible to use web sign-up for entry always being completely booked, so that limited north shore options. House is well stocked and very comfortable for a group. Wrap around porch was a big hit. Yard and grounds were also well cared for. Highly recommend this property.

This house is everything you read in the reviews: clean, well stocked, great for multiple families gathering, and short walk to the beach. Just be mindful that it is directly off the road so there is some road noise but nothing to hold you back from renting this house.

Ka Wai Aloha was the perfect place for a bicoastal family reunion after the pandemic. Five bedrooms gave everyone privacy and the wrap-around deck meant we all had ready access to the outdoors. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make many family dinners and even bake a birthday cake! We spent so much time on the back deck overlooking a lovely lawn just catching up and planning our days. Krisha, our agent, even loaned us a croquet set so that we could continue a family tradition of tournaments...more laughter than skill was involved! The large table accommodated all 10 of us and the living room seated us all. Kauai is a lovely place. We snorkeled at Tunnels Beach, boogie boarded at the Hanalei beach and even ventured inland for a wonderful rafting adventure in the sugar cane irrigation canals and tunnels. We highly recommend a visit to the Na' Aina Kai Botanical and Sculpture Gardens. Planning a return trip already!

Although we spent most of our time out exploring Kauai, it was so nice to return to this beautiful house each evening and relax. It had all the amenities we needed. It felt clean and airy. We really enjoyed opening all the sliders to let the breeze blow through each evening. Krisha, the property manager was prompt and so helpful with any questions we had as well as giving helpful recommendations.

Great home and wonderful location. Absolutely beautiful island! Krisha was available if we had questions and due to her kindness and above board customer service, we were able to attend our snorkeling trip. The kitchen is well stocked, beach accessories were provided. Truly all you need is your food, swim suit and a toothbrush! Highly recommend this house rental!
