This was a most charming, well equipped, clean, and comfortable condo with a spectacular view overlooking the ocean and lovely landscaping to watch sunrise and sunset from. We thoroughly enjoyed observing and listening to the waves, as well as sighting sea turtles and whales from our balcony and garden in front. A truly magical and enchanting place to stay!

Had a nice time with family. Surf was high so beach wasn’t usable for the young kids but the sandy area above it was lots of fun for them. Walking distance to public park beach when they wanted access to water.
Beautiful views including whales splashing, and rainbows over the water each day. Clean and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood in general, some road noise. Convenient grocery and other food options with fresh fish.

This was a wonderful place to stay with the family. Kids liked: upper floor single beds, pool, property grounds for playing and obviously the ocean views with whales and dolphins in sight.
The condo has good AC when you need it, well stocked kitchen, beds are comfortable, washing machine works great, overall there is everything you need for a fantastic time. There are information packages provided by the host ahead of time which were great and easy to follow.
Location is great, a very short drive to some local restaurants, bakery, park, and easy to access the family friendly beaches within 5-10mins.
Some things to think about when visiting. We went in the ocean from the condo everyday, but depending on the season and how the beach comes in, the water may be right at the steps making it a bit tricky to get into the water with the waves. At night, the main bedroom does get some traffic noise - so you may want earplugs. Also, we found the upstairs cooler at night than downstairs due to the nice airflow from the fans.
We want to go back, it was very enjoyable. 5/5! Thanks!

We absolutely loved this condo. You could tell that so much though was given to the way it was set up. The two sink bathroom was so convenient as well as all of the storage under the stairs. It made a great use of the space. The kitchen was roomy and very well stocked. We look forward to returning to this very special place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Upon arrival our family of 4 was welcomed by an amazing ocean view and an immaculately clean condo. We were greeted by double rainbows over the ocean several mornings and the sunsets were gorgeous each night as we relaxed on the spacious lanai. The beds were all comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with cookware, appliances and basic pantry needs. There were plenty of towels and we used the beach chairs and boogie boards to enjoy the little beach out front. The pool was great for my son who preferred swimming in fresh water. It was fun to swim with sea turtles right out front and to walk down to the food trucks and fish market. We also enjoyed the lending library by the pool and Patricia checked in to make sure everything was going well and she was lovely to chat with. We sincerely hope to return in the near future.

We did a lot of research for the best place to stay in Maui and we were so happy to find this place. Beautiful well kept property in a great location. The condo really has everything you need to hang out on the property or head out for a beach trip. It was clean, comfortable, and cool inside. We were able to enjoy the water out front and snorkeling near the rocks during low tide. We saw more turtles here than on the turtle town excursion. The pictures don't do justice to the amazing view you experience.

My family and I loved this condo. The view of the ocean and Lanai from the balcony was the best! The sunrises and sunsets are unforgettable. The condo was well stocked with supplies for cooking and eating and the location was perfect. So much to do and see within a 15 minute drive. We will definitely try to come and stay again at this condo!

We had a amazing time on our family vacation. The condo was clean and cozy and nicely updated. The view from the lanai was spectacular. The beds were very soft and comfortable. The kitchen well equipped. Mother Nature didn’t provide us much beach during our stay but it didn’t stop us from jumping in the water every available opportunity to swim and snorkel. We saw so many sea turtles! It was magical! We can’t wait to return to the Hoyochi Nikko!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The highlight was the ocean view getting to see lots of whales right from the lanai, gorgeous sunsets as well as the turtles just off the shore. The condo was incredibly clean with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and supplies for the beach (umbrella, chairs, boogie boards and cooler). All communication with the host was quick and seamless.
We hope we can go back one day in the future.

We could not have been more pleased with our unit and with the property! We
gathered daily around the pool, at the beach or on each lanai (9 adults in 4 units) and they all liked #204 the most! We had sunset dinners at the outdoor communal table each night we didn't go out to a restaurant. We hope to return another time!!!

My friends and I booked a friend vacation prior to Covid and just now we’re able to go to Maui after Covid delayed our trip. The unit was beautiful and the view was amazing. We saw giant sea turtles everyday, boogie boarded on the beach right in front of the property, and watched sunsets over the water. Truly magical. We miss it already and can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. The condo is just as described in the pictures and online description. We especially appreciated all of the things that made our days at the beach really great. We used the cooler/ice packs, the beach towels, the umbrellas, the chairs and the boogie boards several times during our trip. The location can't be beat too! This condo is SO close to the water. Sitting out on the lanai watching and listening to the waves, watching the turtles swim by, and seeing the most beautiful sunsets and rainbows was one of our favorite parts of the trip. There are many condo complexes nearby but none have the beautiful grounds and access to basically a private beach like this one does. My husband and I went for a walk and looked at the beach/ocean access to many of the condo complexes nearby and none are as nice as this complex. Also, there are several units for rent in the complex but be advised that they are not all the same size. There is an original flier for the condo complex in the breezeway and it lists this condo as a *special* as it is the largest of the condos. We had such a nice time that half way through our vacation I booked again for next summer. Unfortunately, this specific unit is very popular and the dates I needed were booked so I booked another condo in the complex. The owner of that condo talked up this condo and said how nice it is and he even pointed out that it is bigger than his condo. Patricia was great to work with too. Very communicative. The check in and out process was a breeze. We arrived late due to a late flight and that was no problem. We had everything we needed for our eight days in Maui and I'm thinking that we are going to be spoiled by this condo and missing all of its amenities when we go back to a different unit next year. Hopefully, we can get back to Patricia's condo in the future!

Wow. If you want to open the patio doors and see the beach and take 3 min walk to the shore, this place is it. We have been to another location in Maui, resort, but the condo is much better. The condo is great for a family of four, kitchen is well stocked and markets are close by. We walked every morning and it was pleasant. But the best part, the view. A morning cup of coffee and you see the shore, the boats, and the Molok’ai. And the sunsets, very beautiful. It was a relaxing week. This is a place to enjoy.

All of these units front on the water and have amazing views while also feeling private. This unit has been remodeled and was clean and nicely decorated. It also had all the amenities needed for the beach. Turtles hang out in the surf during the afternoons, making it a great place to wind down while the kids hit the pool. There isn’t much of a beach in front (normal for this area), but you can still get access to the water and snorkel or drive a couple minutes to other great beaches. We’ll definitely come back!

This updated condo was comfortable with all of its amenities. It’s always clean and the owner calls and makes sure your stay is going well. When I travel to Maui I always check to see if this unit is available. The lanai allows for great views of the nightly sunsets and watching sea turtles swim buy all day long.

Loved our stay here. We were at the Four Seasons for the first part of our trip and this was a nice change of pace. Comfortable beds (I am someone with a bad back and I am picky). Beautiful sunsets. Beautiful view of the ocean. Loved coming this time of year...I don’t like vacationing with a bunch of kids wilding out and there weren’t any that I noticed. We had an issue with a neighbor flying a drone around which was noisy and when I emailed our host about it she showed immediate concern and helped us mitigate it. Really loved Patricia. Thank you for a wonderful time! Look forward to visiting again soon!

This was our 5th time staying at the Hoyochi Nikko property and our 2nd time staying in #204. I hesitate to sing the praises of this place because a part of me wants to keep it a secret. This place feels like home. It has everything you need for the perfect Hawaiian getaway. Even though there are only 18 units in this complex, the majority of the time we felt like we had the place to ourselves.
As for the owner, she is fantastic to work with. She was in constant communication leading up to our stay, and even called a couple days after we got there to check up on us and make sure everything was ok. When I told her the TV remote was a little temperamental, she has someone deliver a new one that evening.
The pictures don't really do this place justice....you won't be disappointed.

This condo was exactly as depicted in the listing, better than I had expected. It had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen had all you need including a high powered blender for blended drinks. The beds were comfortable with nice linens.
When we first arrived and opened the door we were awestruck by the view. We paddleboarded right off the beach and watched the turtles and whales.
Patricia is the perfect hostess and called to check on us and had suggestions on places to go although there were books about the island provided in the condo as well as binoculars for watching the whales and looking at the islands.
If I had to make one suggestion it would be to service the screen doors to the lanai as they were a little hard to open and close and needed when leaving the slider open to listen to the waves at night.
Perfect location with a beach park and stores within walking distance if needed.
With only 18 units it was just what we were looking for, no big resort feel here but every convenience necessary. If you were to dream of owning a condo on Maui this would be the place.

We traveled March, 2021 after having to previously reschedule many times due to COVID-19. The owner was so communicative throughout the pandemic, so make sure I was aware of travel restrictions and overall life on the island. Even on the day of our arrival, she reached out to let me know the area was experiencing high tides and the ocean at the unit was rough. I truly appreciated all of her communication before and during our stay.
The unit itself was perfect. I spend a lot of time researching places to stay, and this unit checked all of the boxes. Washer/Dryer, A/C, nice patio furniture, comfortable indoor furniture, etc. The additions of beach towels, a small cooler, and a beach umbrella were so appreciated!
This complex is safe, small, nicely kept, and the manager is nice too. The pool was a perfect place to swim when the ocean was too rough for a couple days.
We truly thank Patricia for offering her wonderful condo.

This was a great condo to stay at. We loved the size on the property, due to the smaller amount of units there was never too many people or too much noise. We saw more whales than you can count every day from the amazing views from inside the condo or on the lanai. Very clean unit, would definitely recommend. Definitely not beach front property. It should be listed as ocean front. Therefore high price because of false advertisement as it being beach front. The small "beach " seen in the pics has large rocks and very high tides. One cannot use the little sand area. You have to swim further in order to not get crushed by the tides onto the property retaining wall.
Also the master bed was very uncomfortable and I got charged for "white" towels having black spots that didn't come off in the wash. We will be staying at another property in the future. One that truly beach front.
Otherwise the condo is nice and clean and well stocked and the property itself is nice.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The condo was gorgeous and sparkling clean. We watched whales and surfers every day. Location was central to everything we wanted to do. The owner called during our stay to check in and make sure we were comfortable and seeing all the sites. Highly recommended!

This property is in a quiet location with great view. Saw whales and turtles every day. Beds were super comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Big bonus that we were able to use the coolers and beach chairs. I will be back.
