The Pre-Travel Testing Program is scheduled to begin on October 15. Pre-travel testing provides travelers with an alternative to the mandatory 14-day quarantine if they are tested no earlier than 72 hours before their flight arrives with an FDA-approved nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT), performed using a nasal swab, and can show proof of negative test results from a CLIA certified laboratory. Travelers also will have their temperatures checked upon arrival and must fill out a travel and health form. Upon arrival in Hawaii, passengers unable to provide proof of an approved negative test will be required to go into quarantine for 14 days or until they can provide proof of negative test results.

This unit was purchased by the new owners in September, 2017. This newly remodelled air-conditioned gem is located in a boutique style complex that is very rare on Maui. There are only 18 units in this 2 level complex and the view, location and tranquility it offers is what Maui is all about.
The condo, located on the second floor, sleeps 4 very comfortably and offers air conditioning, in suite washer and dryer, two bedrooms (one in a loft), 1 bathroom with walk in shower and double sinks, free wifi, cable, and long distance calling in North America and Mexico. The 55" TV in Living Room is set up so you are able to access your own Netflix Account with full cable access. The 45" Smart TV in the Master Bedroom also has cable.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed and also has it's own air conditioner for those hot nights when you close the doors for privacy. The loft will be cooled with the in suite Air Conditioning and ceiling fans. It has twin beds that can be made into a king sized bed if needed as well as a privacy screen that can be easily set up. The condo is well stocked with beginning supplies and the kitchen has everything a cook would need to prepare meals. Our housekeeper is one of Maui's finest and it sparkles.
The 180 degree view from your lanai looks out to the Pacific Ocean and the islands of Lana'i and Moloka'i. From November to May you will be in awe as you watch the whales breaching in the bay out front. Maui's green turtles come to feed on the reef in the bay and can be seen swimming out front or sunning on the beach. The size of our beach is dependent on the tide, wind and currents so there are times when Mother Nature may take it away but she always gives it back.
The manager pays close attention to detail and is out first thing every morning making sure everything is perfect for the guests. The grounds are beautifully manicured and well maintained, the sand area is swept before the sun rises and the barbeques are cleaned and ready for your evening meal. The pool is always sparkling and the best way to cool off on those hot days.
The parking is assigned and is free, however, SUV's and Mini Vans will not fit in under cover parking.
Times Supermarket is about a mile away (walkable) so shopping for food and supplies is very convenient. The local market at Honokowai (every Monday, Wednesday and Friday (bring small change, go early)), Bad Ass Coffee, Maui Health Food Store and Boss Frogs Snorkel are all less than a 10 minute walk. Front Street in Lahaina and Ka’anapali are less than a 10-minute drive. Everything from high end shopping, boutiques, golfing, snorkelling, rentals, coffee shops and many beaches all very close. The bus service is also very convenient and for $2.00 each way you can go most anywhere.
Spend your day snorkelling, boogie boarding or sunbathing out front or venture further for some sightseeing, golfing, surfing or shopping. You will come back to the peace and quiet of Hoyochi Nikko 204. It truly is paradise.
