This property exceeded our expectations and was just beautiful. Very spacious with big bedrooms , well equipped kitchen and location was perfect for being involved with the Ironman event.
The highlight for all of us was the out door covered area with tons of seating and the panoramic view of the ocean… I could have stayed forever! Pool is small but perfect for small kids to swim in and adults to cool off.

This property has everything that you want and more. The beds are all comfortable, and the outdoor living room is amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc… even a panini press!! The garage is loaded with fun gear for your island adventures. STAY HERE! You won’t regret it!!!

House was beautiful. Views absolutely wonderful. Location great. We splurged for this family trip with 6 adults and five children. Layout was perfect. Would get a five star but 1. There us no AC. Knew this when we booked but they”sold” their air cooling system. Yes there were trade winds and every room had several fans but it was not enough. The main room stayed fairly “cool” at night and the main master was fine (we had that room) but the two bedrooms at each wing of the house sweltered. We opened the house strategically and had fans and the cooling system on constantly. Hard to sleep at night for the little ones. At this price point house should be air conditioned. 2. Outdoor area fabulous. Lived there! Pool was very small but perfect for our little ones. If you have children over eight the pool would not work. Finally while the house was clean it does need a deep cleaning. Fans had layers of goopy dust and the appliances were grungy. But these are minor. Thanks for ten daysin paradise

This is the first time our VRBO property exceeded all expectations. We had 9 in our family from 11 to 81. The house and layout provided plenty of private space for everyone. Other than sleeping, we spent every minute in the outdoor spaces and pool. Between the views, the pools and the amenities, it was hard to leave to do anything else on the island. We only ate one meal out, the kitchen is nicely equipped and didn't leave us needing anything. The location is perfect. Just a short drive to everything from stores to beaches to downtown. Our experience with the property management also exceeded our expectations and truly made our vacation the best ever.

This was one of our favorite properties we ever rented. It truly felt like a home away from home but with added luxuries. We were a total of 9 in our group and everyone had space. The kitchen was perfect with all you need to make your meals. Everyone loved the outdoor shower perfect for rinsing off after the beach or pool. We had most of our meals outside because it was so inviting with the comforts and the view was breathtaking!!! We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here 8 nights , 4 adults 3 children. We traveled all over the island, Hilo, Volcanoes, west coast beaches, snorkeling with Manta Ray's and turtles. Always great to come back to this place and the the pool and Sunsets- Green Flash included. Thanks.

This house is spacious, beautiful, and fully equipped with everything our large family could want for a wonderful vacation. The property manager was very helpful, even purchasing a cargo ramp so that my husband who is wheelchair bound could get in and out of the house.

This property lived up to its description and photos and more. The large house, lanai and view were private and in an upscale, quiet gated neighborhood. The kitchen was well equipped with more than other homes. Excellent washer and dryer. The 5 bedrooms were perfect for our family of 11. There were 2 lanai off 2 of the bedrooms. 3.5 baths. A large living and dining area and kitchen. Each of us could pick a quiet spot to read or a gathering spot for conversations and games. We loved this property. The house was closed up when we got there at 3 pm and took awhile to cool down. The fans and cooling systems helped. For the most part we were comfortable with no air conditioning. The pool was smaller than I thought from the photos but our 5 grandchildren had a blast using it and the pool toys. We spent most of our time on the wonderful large lanai and in the fun gazebo. This home is well located about a mile from downtown. We drove and did not walk on the busy roadways. The extra beach equipment was used and very much appreciated. There is a 2 car garage and extra parking space. Would highly recommend this slice of paradise for your family. Our thanks to the owners and responsive management company. Well done!

We found this house on VRBO in February prior to our trip to the Big Island in December. It was everything promised and more! The property manager provided everything we needed pre-arrival. Check in was flawless. We highly recommend this property and the property management!

Our family (two combined for a total if 9 - ages 15-55) stayed here for our annual Christmas trip. The house was spacious enough that everyone could spread out and have their own space as well as room to hang out all together. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more!! Would definitely recommend!!

This house was perfect for our large family. We had 7 adults and 4 pre-teens. Lots of space to spread out and relax. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed - kitchen needs, toiletries, laundry, pool items, etc. most importantly, the beds were extremely comfortable!! We couldn’t have asked for a better place!

This property was more beautiful than the pictures, with the common areas all very spacious and the pool and lanai absolutely gorgeous. This house easily accommodated 10 adults. The 5th bedroom is a bit small but still a room that gave every couple a place for privacy. The house is well equiped with everything you could need to cook meals or go snorqueling without having to buy everything once here. The best part was the communication process with this property group. They are truly the kindest and make the process so smooth. I would recommend this house HIGHLY!!

We had a three generational family vacation at this beautiful home. The home was more than enough to handle the eleven of us (five bedrooms, four bathrooms). It even had an outdoor shower for use with the salt water pool. Speaking of pools, the pool on site was so kid friendly with easy step access, not too deep and warm. One hugh benefit was that beach equipment was provided (chairs, umbrelas, tents, coolers, snorkeling equipment,life jackets, toys, etc.). The two car garage was great, although we had three cars that could easily be accommodated in the driveway area. This takes us to the backyard view, the home is built on the side of the hill roughly forty feet higher than the homes below. As a result you have a view that is practically unobstructed for 360 degrees. Whether watching the sunrise or sunset, the view is fantastic. Because it overlooks the valley below, we even got a chance to see a full rainbow. Just sitting out in the back deck you can watch the fishing boats, sailboats, parasailers and cruise ships coming and going all day long. The house, and in particular kitchen was well stocked with more than the basics. If given the opportunity we will be back.

We are a group of 11 ages 76 to 3. We have gathered annually for 14 years in VRBO homes. This house was the best of them all. The amazing view and the comfortable outdoor living space can’t be beat. It was also only a few minutes to all the activities we wanted and to great restaurants. Also best stocked kitchen and all the beach equipment we could possibly want. We highly recommend.

This beautiful house was the perfect get-away for our family vacation! It has everything you could possibly want or need for a relaxing stay. Very functional kitchen and comfortable beds. Loved the outdoor shower! Plenty of room for my husband and I, 4 adult children, 3 spouses and 1 grandchild. We could all be home at the same time yet have our own space. There were multiple places to gather together inside and out for meals, visiting and playing games. Beautiful yard with amazing views. The walk-in pool with shallow steps was ideal for our 18 mo. old grandson. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!!
Side note - We over-purchased at Costco so had a lot of food/beverages left over. We were happy to have local church missionaries take It all instead of throwing it away.

Where to start! We absolutely loved the stay - it was awesome! The property exceeded our expectations - you can only get so much from photos online. It was extremely spacious - we had 10 people staying for 2 weeks and had more than enough room for everyone. There were so many common spaces for all of us or small groups of us to sit and visit, play games, watch TV/movies and just relax. There was also enough space for people to spend time by themselves to take care of personal needs or just simply get some alone time. The dining area was very large which was great because we ate dinner in most evenings and there was plenty of space for us to all sit together to reminisce about the activities from the day. Also, with 10 people, having 4 bathrooms was fantastic - no tripping over each other or waiting.
The home was equipped with everything! The kitchen had just about every appliance, dish, cooking utensil and amenity you could want. The laundry facilities were great. They had just about everything at the house to make the stay very easy. For example, multiple sets of masks/snorkels/fins, multiple boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, coolers....you name it.
Both the grounds and home were immaculate when we arrived. It is really laid out nicely and was very clean and easy for us to stay organized with multiple storage areas. Also, we really like the gated property off the main road for security. The home stayed very comfortable day and night with all of the fans and attic air movement system. Also, tons of windows.
We loved the outdoor private shower and used it daily. The pool and deck area were awesome!
The view from the home of the ocean and surrounding landscape is almost indescribable. We viewed many remarkable sunsets from the veranda.
An additional item to note is the quality and frequency of communication leading up to during and after our stay. Detailed instructions and guidance made it extremely easy for us to get acclimated and took a lot of our anxiety away.

--We cooked a lot and appreciated the beautiful and extremely well equipped kitchen including coffee, tea, plastic wrap, spices, oils. Great coffee maker, stove, frig (appreciated the water filter on the frig), and disposal!
--The beds were very comfortable with high quality mattresses and linens. I often have trouble sleeping and very much appreciated the good beds.
--Bathrooms were convenient and well equipped. Plush towels too.
--The living area was perfect for us with a dining table that comfortably seated 10. Perfect.
--The outdoor furniture was also well chosen and very comfortable for lounging or dining.
--They provided a large array of beach equipment which was a huge asset for us -- no need to rent at the beaches. Snorkel gear, boogie boards (some of the boogie boards were pretty well used), life jackets for kids and beach towels.
--The lanai and pool were dreamy. I loved to go out before anyone else got up just to take in the clean air and view of the ocean. We saw whales from the pool area every day during our Feb stay. It's a wonderful space and so quiet with almost no bugs!!
--The pool was great. I wondered about the salt water, but it certainly worked well for our family.
--The owners seemed to think of everything we might need. Both before and during our stay, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.
My only problem with the stay was when we needed to throw out our left-over food at the end of the trip. (I admit that this was largely our fault.) If there had been a food pantry or way to make use of the perfectly good food that went into the garbage, I would have felt far better.
Otherwise, what an amazing place! Our kids' sad faces as we left told the story. We didn't want our stay to end. We thought about staying in the Hilo area, but so glad we picked this one. Thanks for an extraordinary family retreat!

This house was amazing for our group. 2 couples in their 40's, set of Grandparents, 1 grandma and 3 kids (1, 3, and 6). We could easily come together in the kitchen/living/dining area, on the lanai, around the pool or in the gazebo. The outdoor space and covered lanai are perfect for early risers to catch the news while sipping coffee while everyone else sleeps. The pool is the perfect size. Whale watching is spectacular! Location to Kona/stores/beaches/airport is great! I would highly recommend this house. There are too many good things to say about this house. We loved it!!!
