Location was good, 5 minute walk to Hanalei beach, 10 minutes to town. Had good beach supplies, wagon was really helpful, sand toys, boogie boards, chairs, etc. Had snorkeling gear, but figure most will rent in town, since that's pretty cheap to do. Contacted Ann with question and she called me back in less than five minutes. Kids had fun on wrap around porch. Thought yard would be better, so kids could play in it. Really liked the outdoor shower, I looked forward to it each day. Wish it were cooler in the house. Porch to side of kitchen was always cool, wish beds were out there. Kitchen is nice, everything we needed was provided. Washer and dryer are always a bonus. Wish there were a little more room to socialize downstairs. Kids would go upstairs, but with a little one under two, we constantly had to beware of steps. Plenty of games to choose from. Would consider staying again, although no refund policy might discourage us, as we intend to book next year's visit soon and making plans a year in advance is always a little tricky.

We loved this property. The house had everything we needed, with a beautiful kitchen and a fantastic lanai. Quiet neighborhood and a short walk to Hanalai Bay where we swam and saw fantastic sunsets and into town where we found some great restaurants and shopping. The hosts provided so much helpful information about the house and the area. Some in our group struggled with the lack of air conditioning in the house - even with the abundance of fans that were provided and the breeze, it was sometimes uncomfortably hot for a few of us. But overall, I would highly recommend this wonderful house if you're going to be in the Hanalai Bay area.

The house was spacious and the wrap-around porch provided tons of outdoor space even when it was pouring rain. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots&pans, cutlery, and other appliances including the best little ice maker in the world.
Despite being almost surrounded be neighbors the house felt very private even out on the porch. The Hanalei strip is a 5-10 min walk and you can be on the beach in 2 mins. Sunsets on the beach, sunrise lighting up the cascades on Mt. Waialeale - we can't wait to come back!

The five of us (two couples and one teen) loved our stay in Hanalei. We had plenty of space to spread out and especially enjoyed the outdoor lanai. The kitchen was well appointed and the grill was clean and ready to use. It was rainy but the house is designed perfectly to keep you dry even on the lanais in a downpour (we would would know!). We learned that roosters start crowing hours before sunrise, part of the charm of Hanalei, bring ear plugs if this will bother you. The loft area is not full height so we did not really use that space. We walked from the house to town, beach and the pier. Found this location more convenient for accessing stores/restaurants than our later stay in Poipu.

We liked the open floor plan and the spacious lanais. There was plenty of room for six of us. The house is in a great location, just a couple of block to walk to the beach or to Hanalei shops. The host, Ann, was extremely accommodating, helpful, and easy to reach. Unfortunately it was pretty rainy during our stay, but I can't hold that against the house or the host. Luckily there is a carport and spacious lanais all around!

This property was perfect for our family with ages ranging from one to sixty. It's tucked back off the busiest streets but centrally located for walking to all beaches, restaurants and shops. The house has several spacious common areas for games and gathering. We spent two days on the Kalalau Trail which was easy to get to using the park and ride service located in right in the bay. Ann was a fantastic host and so helpful. The days we spent here were the best part of our trip. We can't wait to come back!

We were so fortunate to be able to reserve and stay in this wonderful Holloway property. If you’re familiar with Hanalei Bay they’re only limited options close to the beach . Ann‘s property is easy walking distance to the spectacular beach as well as to town. The house itself is large extremely private and quiet with a big wraparound lanai, fully stocked and functional kitchen, comfortable beds beach equipment the list goes on and on. If you are extremely heat sensitive keep in mind the place does not have air-conditioning but using the ample fans provided it wasn’t an issue for us. I would feel lucky to stay in this house again. The owners are great people invested in the community rather than the frequent abstentia owners. If you’re looking to stay in Hanalei and the house is available Also reasonably priced considering what you get. Aloha

We live on Kauai, but love to do summer staycations in Hanalei and this is our favorite place to stay! Spacious, well equipped kitchen. Love the back deck outdoor seating area. Tucked back in a very private spot but short walking distance to Hanalei Bay and town.
Beds are comfy. Only 2 baths, but having the wonderful outdoor shower alleviates waiting for your turn in the inside shared bath.
We plan to book this home every summer, Mahalo to Ann!

This was the perfect place for our family vacation of 7 adults. The house is well laid out, clean and freshly decorated , comfortable beds and very well equipped. The location is great and yet we felt very private. I loved the mountain views and tropical foliage. We spent most of our evenings relaxing together on the expansive lanai. Absolutely would return to this is exact rental on future Kauai trips!

We were amazed when we drove up and saw the home! Spacious, wrap around deck, a tropical oasis. The home is lovely and we had all we need to snorkel, sit at the beach and great suggestions of where to go. Quiet and pleasant, it was perfect for our family. We walked to the Village of Hanalei, to the beach and a quick trip to Princeville if we wanted. Highly recommend!

This property was the perfect home for my family to stay at while vacationing in Hanalei for a week for a friends wedding. The house was perfect with plenty of space for everyone, amenities for the beach and perfect views of some of the many Kauai waterfalls from the wrap around porch and lanai! It’s also located in a great location and literally minutes walk to the beach, as well as the Main Street where the bars, restaurants and shops are. We can’t wait to come back and stay again. This was a beautiful property in the perfect location. My wife and I and our good friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A very nice touch was the bag of Starbuck coffee beans, the beach chairs, boogie boards and oversized beach towels. The day spent on the lanai was a nice break from the beach activities. The neighbors were nice and it's in a great location, close to everything. The weather was great and we loved it. Ann was a great host and very helpful with check in and check out times. What a beautiful house with an incredible view and close proximity to the beach and local shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our time out on the deck and inside playing cards. We all now want our own outdoor shower! We had the master bedroom which had a huge double head shower. Our daughter.stayed in the loft and had an incredible view.

We had great weather snd we also had heavy rains. It is Kauai! The house is magical during the rain with lots of covered area to lounge snd read. At one time we could see 10 waterfalls from the porch. Ann has thought of every amenity. We wanted for nothing.

Appreciated the “left behind” spices and condiments. Our only disappointment was our stay was too short, I could have stayed there for a month, if only….

We could not have picked a more perfect place to stay. A few minutes walk to either the beach or downtown from her lovely home made the location very convenient. Our stay at Hanalei Palms was even better than I had hoped. The home is spacious, beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The location is ideal - easy walking distance to quaint Hanalei town and beach access with lifeguards and facilities. We had a group of seven, ranging in age from 12 to 63, and we all had spaces to gather or have quiet time alone. Thank you for sharing your exquisite home with us!

Our family of 5 had an amazing stay here. If you have never been to Hanalei...it's a MUST! The town is the cutest and the beach is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. This home is in the best location....3 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to the town. The lanai is enormous...a beautiful and peaceful place to eat, drink or just relax. We appreciated having access to beach chairs and boogie boards...it was super convenient and we used them everyday. Ana was very responsive and extremely sweet.
This was our first trip to Kauai...we will definitely be back and will definitely stay here again!
