The house is lovely. Beautiful sunsets. Major complaint would be that the floors are absolutely filthy and need deep cleaned and we called and sent an email about a safety issue with a cover in driveway and it was never addressed

We enjoyed this home immensely for our 9 days on the Big Island. Location is great, close to Kona/ kid friendly beaches, very quiet neighborhood, unreal sunset views. We especially loved the pass through window from the well stocked kitchen to the pool area. Pina coladas anyone? Another thing we all loved was the hot tub being warm all the time and the tropical outdoor shower. The kiddos loved the koi pond, waterfalls into the pool, and appreciated pool toys and DVDs. Beds are comfy and there is good separation of space.
Also, David was amazing with recommendations for date nights and all the activities!
We would gladly stay at this property again.

IO Way was beautiful! The most amazing sunsets and 180 degree view of the ocean. The weather was completely different at the home from Kona town. My 10 year old was in the pool non stop and we were outside the majority of the time (bring bug spray for mosquitos!).
Home was clean except for some walls (hard to reach) and one of the guest baths had a clump of hair. Floors could use a good scrubbing but I guess that's indoor/outdoor living (shoes are never allowed in homes for us). Neighborhood was quiet except for some construction nearby
If I had the option to change things, guests would be able to control the waterfalls - sometimes peace and quiet was preferred. No sunscreen or sitting on the patio furniture wet. That's a silly one! The ability to light the Tiki torches - ambience! Sliding doors are incredibly hard to move. Some don't close all the way (master). I'd also add shower doors - water gets all over the place.
The gardeners were incredibly kind, announced themselves first. The garbage collector grabbed the cans for us when we forgot to put them out.
Would have preferred the pool cleaners to announce themselves before helping themselves to the backyard with their conversation including f-bombs. They also showed up an additional day which wasn't shared in the guest book.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Praying for the islands and its people during this incredibly difficult time.

The Family (3 generations) all agree the home,yard and pool were AWESOME! Met everyones' needs. Excellent WiFi also. The rental people were courteous, very easy to communicate with and readily available to reach. Whomever stays here will not be disappointed. We enjoyed our stay.

My family of 8 stayed here for our Hawaii vacation and it was perfection! It literally felt like our own private resort. We spent countless hours in the incredible infinity pool and hot tub. The kitchen was fully stocked and easy to manage. Quiet neighborhood and close to the beach, restaurants and shopping in Kona. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels. 10 out of 10! Highly recommend and will book again!

This house has a severe termite issue. I get that this happens in Hawaii but there is no excuse for us not being notified that the infestation is that bad. I would have liked the option to stay somewhere else rather than live with the termites and their waste. The main refrigerator and freezer inside the kitchen also does not work which was quite inconvenient. We lost hundreds of dollars worth of food because the refrigerator does not cool to a proper temperature for food. The property manager sending someone over to flip the breaker and declare that it is cooling now was quite inadequate considering the bottom drawers only cooled to 55 and 67 degrees. We will not be staying here again and could not wait to leave.

The location is just great and the property is in line with all descriptions from the website. We especially enjoyed the sunsets from the house as well as the great pool. The kitchen is well equipped and you will not miss anything. We had some minor issues and the agency responded very fast to make us happy. We felt well served as guests.

Our family spent a week in this incredible house, enjoying the pool, hot tub, and outside bar & hammock; meditating with the koi; and cooking in the amazing kitchen! The beds were all very comfortable, and the bathrooms were fabulous — check out the outdoor shower off the master bath! The house is high up (beautiful views!), but convenient to town and hiking trails. Highly recommended!

This property was beautiful, but needs a good cleaning. Floors & carpets dirty and were sandy, dead centipedes & other bugs in the corners, sand in the dryer, and BEDBUGS in the room with two twins. We spent our first day cleaning floors. Kitchen area was spotless, so were the bathrooms. Broken screens on some of the windows- again in room with twin beds. Pool was sparkling clean, spa was wonderful too. Unparalleled views of ocean and the twinkling lights of Kona. Note: pool faces west so we really couldn’t swim until mid afternoon when it warmed up. The kitchen has everything! If you can’t find a utensil, bowl, etc etc you are not looking hard enough! Restful and relaxing if you don’t mind dealing with a little nature in the house.

We appreciated the place/furniture being "lived in". We didn't need to worry about messing up pristine furnishings. Main fridge had a disabled freezer. We just used the secondary freezer. Our friends are asking when can we go again.

Words can’t express how fabulous this home was for our family group of 8 - parents and young adults! The location provided security and privacy, but was a quick drive to restaurants, grocery stores, and local beaches. The house itself was exceptionally equipped - the indoor and outdoor kitchens especially - and the shuffleboard table was a huge hit and source of intense daily competitions. We loved sitting by the pool, opening up the wall of sliding doors and relishing in true indoor/outdoor living, all with an incredible view of the ocean in the distance. And of course, sunsets were absolutely incredible. The beds were comfortable, with the exception of the weird “my pillow” pillows. The koi pond, the outdoor shower and the beautiful landscaping around the property, including fruit trees, were added benefits that all added up to a home we would eagerly return to.

The house was fantastic. Rooms were so amazingly large. The hot tub was so fun. Kitchen was well stocked. Only issue is pool was super cold and not heated. But I guess that pools in Hawaii are not heated. The house is truly fantastic and would recommend it to anyone.

House was beautiful and well equipped. Some items worn and need replacing such as towels and pans. Beware of coqui frogs that kept us awake. This is a problem on the big island. Location was great for restaurants but about 45 minutes from the nicest beaches. Would definitely recommend this rental.

This house exceeded all expectations. The view is unparalleled. The house is spacious and was well equipped for our week-long stay during Covid. It was easy to cook all of our meals at home. Tons of games to choose from. Movies galore (even though we never turned a tv on with that view). I do a lot of research prior to renting a house and I’m so glad I chose this one. Unforgettable. We will be back!

What a wonderful place to stay. My favorite thing was the roll away doors to the pool patio area. I would open them up as soon as we arrived back and let the breeze in. We used the house as a staging area for the bride on the day of the wedding! What a great place to stay. Pool and hot tub were also wonderful!

Overall an outstanding property. The views are unbeatable. The architecture and amenities (pool, hot tub, BBQ, etc.) are both beautiful and functional. Loads of space. The home is larger than it appears in the photos and has more than enough room to spread out and relax. I would return here without question. The drive up the hillside on a winding narrow road is a little intimidating at first, but isn't a problem if one drives carefully. We found two maintenance issues that need attention. The house has two ice makers, neither of which worked, so we made ice in trays. The oven did not work as expected. It had to be re-set each time we used it. That involved turning off the breaker switch in the home electric panel, waiting ten minutes, and then restarting it. We had to also reset the date, time, etc. each time before we could start the oven. We were not advised of this and had to discover the work around online by ourselves. This is a beautiful home and I highly recommend it.

Overall, this property is extremely nice and well maintained and located reasonably close to town and nice beaches. House is well appointed and had a great pool and views. Indoor and outdoor cooking setup were great. Had every utensil/appliance/dish you could need. The doors and fans work great to open the home up and cool the place too. Lack of AC was not an issue which was one of my initial big worries. Only a couple of issues that would have made me select 4.5 stars if possible (settled on 5 stars because the house is so nice and the property management company was very responsive). The views are slightly obstructed by two new properties being built across the street and down the hill - though we were disappointed by this and worried about construction noise at first it ended up only being a minor nuisance. You can see the lots being built in the photos so you have to imagine a house in those photos - look like single story dwellings though. (One was at framing stage and the other was foundation laying during our stay in early/mid July). The other issue was we had a surprising number of appliance issues given how nice the house is. The fridge wasn't cooling properly and we had to call on that - ended up a recurring issue where we reset the breaker which seemed to work. The dishwasher broke at some point (easy enough that a slightly handy person could fix it), and probably most annoying was we had several clothing articles damaged in the dryer so caution if you are using the dryer for more delicate items. It was also a bit odd given how much the rental costs that we weren't given control of the pool fountains and they were purely set to a timer. I get it that people are irresponsible and energy is expensive in Hawaii, but it would have been nice to have control so we could turn them on and off (especially to drown out some of the construction noise). Maybe an on button with an auto shut off would be a better solution. Overall these are pretty minor nits and both families thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We would consider coming back for sure.

The property was just as described. Kitchen was beautifully appointed with any thing and every thing you could want. We had a few maintenance issues that were addressed very promptly. No responsibility of the owners but most likely never reported by previous renters. 6 adults and 2 10 month old twins were very comfortable and spent many a morning and evening watching the sun from the awesome pool deck. Water temp in the pool was fantastic! It was very hot and humid and we would have loved AC but we managed with the full wall retractable screens and supplied fans. We would definitely recommend this amazing property.

Wonderful property. All was as described in listing and actually better. there was 3 couples and each had a master suite which leads out to backyard. We spent all of our time outside taking in the gorgeous view. House is also very well equipped with everything you may need. We had an amazing time. Highly recommend this property
