The proprety is very nice with all accomodities. Well situed. The communications were easy.
The only thing is the fact, as specify by the owners, that there is no AC. So some evenings, the house was at 30•C. But during the night and in the morning the house was able to refresh itself.
Even so, we pass a very good Time.

This was a family vacation, 1 senior, 2 kids, 6 adults. Location is perfect, as centrally located in a safe neighborhood. The home is perfect, with every pot/pan/service dish/ you made need. Enough dishes, enough silverware, my mother wanted to make flour tortillas, and I was skeptical if I would find a rolling pin, and I did. We made pizza, and I found pizza trays to put in the oven. Enough cleans towels, no stains, no holes in the sheets and no stains. Specific instructions on how to use the fancy appliances and instructions on how to use everything else in the house. Decor is perfect, you are in your own tropical paradise within paradise. Thank you Cindi for your prompt responses for all my questions.

The owner was great to work with, it was incredibly easy to check in and out. The house was stocked with EVERYTHING one would need to make the stay smooth and start your trip out seamlessly.
We are thankful for the opportunity to visit the Big Island and that we found this home.
We had a hiccup with the pool temps, Cindi was responsive and apologetic.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean and had plenty of room for the 6 of us. There are markets and restaurants 5-10 minutes away so the house is conveniently located. The view from the balcony was amazing and it was so nice to be able to see the sunset from there. We would definitely stay there again!

My family and I (4 adults and 4 kids) had a great time in Kona. The house was perfect. My in-laws took the master suite, my wife and I had one room downstairs, my 2 boys stayed in the other downstairs bedroom, and my 2 girls shared the pull out couch. We spent most of our time on the deck off the dining room enjoying the sunsets and early morning views of Jupiter and Mars. The pool was fantastic and was where my girls spent most waking hours. The location was close enough to downtown and easy to get out for excursions. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place on the big island.

Overall a wonderful experience in a lovely home. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. Minor issues like overflowing garbage bins loaded and stacked with 6 more full trash bags that WE had to move to the curb on trash day. That part was not cool as it was not our trash. Also, tv remotes were difficult to figure out in main room so we were never able to turn it on. Small cheap plastic outdoor patio end table was broken when we arrived. Other than that, it's a lovely location and quite comfortable for multiple guests.

Overall great place to hang out with family and friends, especially enjoying the pool, BBQ and yard geckos. Very clean and well maintained. Roomy kitchen so no bumbing elbows making meals and grabbing drinks.
Xbox had just been removed (not functioning) just before our arrival...which was fine by us but you may want to check if that's important to you.

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. We had the pool heated a little extra and that was lovely. What a place to relax and enjoy life. One block downhill is a great trail to run each morning. Thank you to the hosts who were very responsive. Aloha forever!!

We had a wonderful time, the accommodation, view and location were great. We were very impressed with the response from Cindi, when after the first attempt at bbq, we realized it was not working. Cindi had a new bbq delivered the next afternoon!

We absolutely loved staying in this home! It was perfect for our family plus a few friends. The pool is amazing, the view to die for, and the kitchen was really well stocked. Loved every minute!

This house was absolutely lovely. There was everything you could possibly need. The pool was well maintained, very clean, and with lots of fun pool floats available. All the basics were stocked and easily available. There were plenty of beach toys to tote along to the numerous beaches that were very close to the property. The location was ideal, very close to both the downtown area, excursions, and all the nature attractions. The adults and children both had a fantastic trip. Lastly the view was unparalleled!

This was the first time to the Big Island for us. Our family came along and loved every moment. The house was as beautiful as the pictures shown. The view was amazing, with gorgeous sunsets. Our family really enjoyed staying here. The kitchen is great, fully stocked. The pool was fantastic and the three bedrooms made it feel like home. We would recommend this rental home to anyone.

What a fantastic place to stay, we had such a super time morning noon and night. Sounds of the jungle with a beautiful 180 degree views of the ocean and Kona town. The home was well stocked and clean with spices and plenty of dishes, glasses, pots pans and utensils along with beach chairs and towels.
The owner Cindi was very attentive and asked if we needed anything and answered any emails if needed. I would definitely stay here again.

The place was amazing. We really enjoyed it. As to suggestions, I'm having to dig deep to find anything to improve. Everything was covered from night lights to Tupperware, beach accessories, coolers, etc. Kitchen was fully equipped with more than enough dishes for everyone to eat, cook, bake, etc, and never run out.

The house was perfect for our family group of 9. Beautiful location and very user friendly. Short drive to Kailua where all the activities for my niece’s wedding took place. Cindi is an excellent host and was very easy to work with. We would definitely stay there again when in Kona.

We just stayed a week in this beautiful, well-maintained home. The view from all of the rooms is spectacular. From the comfort of the deck, we saw whales putting on a splash-fest. As for the home itself, this house is completely stocked with everything you need. There are plenty of towels, linens, beach towels, and a fully-stocked kitchen. You can tell the owners take a lot of pride in this home as care was put into all the details in this house. The pool was awesome and there were lots of toys to keep the kids busy every afternoon. The owners responded immediately the few days we asked to have the heater turned on. We hope to stay here again for future visits.
The location is also perfect. It’s a quick 10 minute drive into the tourist downtown of Kona and also a 10-30 minute drive to some awesome snorkeling spots. The location up on the hillside made for quiet nights and we were still able to hear the ocean. We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation (5 adults and 2 kids) here and would highly recommend this house for your future vacation!

This house was perfect for our two families of 4 to stay in. We even had one extra with us, making us 9 people. The house is fully equipped with anything you could need. We took full advantage of everything in the kitchen and cleaned every night. Then we also worked our way through the large collection of beach and sand toys. We really did not need to buy anything extra!! The only thing to note is that if you want to pool a certain temperature, and warmer than the solar provides (which was around 80 when we were there) then you do have to pay for the extra pool heating.
Overall a great experience and great communication with Cindi, the owner. If we came back to Kona, we would definitely stay here again!

We spent five nights at this home - 2 families of 4 (4 kids and 4 adults). It was the perfect fit. Enough room for everyone - which is a big deal when you are trying to please that many people. The owners are amazing to work with and they were literally able to take care of any issues that arose immediately. They were responsive, kind, and super helpful. They have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable from making lists in the kitchen of where everything is, to a helpful binder with information on the house and the area. They had everything you could ever need for the beach - which is a huge plus when you have 4 kids who want to spend all day at the beach or the pool. It is an awesome location as well - a quiet friendly neighborhood super close to everything on the Kona side of the island - including Costco which is a huge benefit. I also have to say that for someone who loves to cook - and we cooked a lot during the week with 8 of us - this house had the best assortment of quality pots, pans, utensils and kitchenware. The owners have absolutely thought of everything that you could ever need during your stay. We will absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone I know who is headed to the Big Island. This home is a rare treasure for VRBO!!!

We spent 12 days at this house for the holidays, Christmas and New Years. My parents were so excited to have the whole family together in one house (we are 6 adults and 4 kids). The house offers everything you need and more. We could make meals, pack lunches to take to the beach, or a quick drive to great restaurants, it was perfect. They also have beach towels, boogie boards, and coolers available to use which was wonderful.
The nights were a cooler, so the pool was a bit chilly. The great thing is we simply called to owners to request the pool heater turned on and once the water warmed a bit we definitely enjoyed the pool.
The sunset from the house is perfect! Many evenings we would stay to watch the sunset before we went out to dinner.
The view from the house at midnight on New Years Eve was absolutely amazing. We could see fireworks everywhere!

Our visit to Kona home was amazing... we absolutely loved the Big Island and can't wait to return. My family and I spent a week in this amazing home which was outfitted with every possible necessity. Our only complaint would be hot it was... luckily we only experienced this discomfort for 2 days... our arrival day, which we thought because the house was locked up on our arrival... but 5 days later we had another heat wave... the house didn't start to cool down until after 10pm. We would have stayed in the pool at night but refrained as requested to do due to noise traveling at night and out of respect for the neighbors. Anyway, those 2 days didn't spoil our trip and we were very happy with the house!!!

Had the whole family here and never felt on top of each other. The home has every amenity you could ask for other than air conditioning. Had some pretty humid days while we were here but we went to various beaches during our stay and of course once you are closer at the water, the breeze picks up. Toured Hawaii Volcanoe State Park one day and went through a lava tube, saw steam vents, craters and the vast volcanic area. Then back to the house for great sunsets.

The house and location were awesome. We cooked a lot and hung out by the pool. The beds and the whole house were so comfortable. The only thing I would say is the house needs AC. My friend lives in Kona and he said we were there during the hottest time and its never like that, but the house got pretty hot in the late afternoon but did cool down around 10pm. I would definitely go back and recommend this house. My family loved the house.
