Outstanding property with great views. Very nice pool and a functioning hot tub were used daily. In addition to being a beautiful place, it was clean, and had all the little things needed to make your stay easy and enjoyable.
Kona Coast Vacations provided excellent details about getting into the property and did regular follow-ups to ensure our trip was going as planned. Will definitely utilize them again on our next trip to Hawaii

The property itself is amazing but the views are unbelievable. Amazing sunsets and wonderful views of the ocean. There were 4 couples in our group so the house worked perfectly for everyone to have their own room and bathroom. Hoping for an opportunity to stay again.

Our recent stay in a remarkable Hawaiian property was an absolute dream. Tucked away in a secure neighborhood, this vacation home was a perfect sanctuary for our group of four couples. With breathtaking views and a stunning pool, it provided an unforgettable experience.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the mesmerizing vistas. Perched atop a hill, we were treated to panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and lush surroundings. Each sunset painted the sky with vibrant colors, reflecting beautifully in the azure waters. Waking up to such natural beauty was a true blessing.
The house itself exuded comfort and luxury. With its spacious layout, we had both privacy and ample space to spend quality time together. The bedrooms were elegant havens for relaxation.
The house is just south Kailua-Kona and convenient to Keahou shopping center.
The property management team was communicative and helped prepare us for a wonderful vacation but also very non-intrusive. They did a a great job of making our stay enjoyable.

Amazing location and views. Home is a bit outdated and needs to be updated. Cleaning is done poorly but it’s Hawaii and their standard of clean is a bit different so we understand, sticky floors and counters and can’t walk barefoot because you will need pedicure the next day ☺️.

We had the best stay at this property! The views throughout the home are second to none. It is the perfect place to lounge around the pool, with loungers, chairs and pool floaties available. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils/appliances. The neighborhood is beautiful and we enjoyed our daily morning walks. It is about 15 away from Kona, however, there is a supermarket and some shops & restaurants that are even closer and more convenient. Management was very responsive - we had trouble with the AC units and a technician was sent the next morning. We absolutely loved this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat! We are already jealous of its next tenants :)

We loved the separate areas for plenty of privacy along with the large kitchen, living room & dining room in the center for gathering all together. Even the outside area allows for space but togetherness. We all had a great time swimming & playing corn hole. There are views from almost every room in this home. I loved watching the sunset while making my evening cocktail at the wet bar in the upstairs bedroom. There is a coffee pot upstairs also which allows for a little wake up time out on your own balcony before joining the group downstairs. Kona Coast Vacations did a really good job of accommodating us & checking in to be sure that our stay was enjoyable. We all had a wonderful stay & will definitely be returning.

This house was amazing and the neighborhood was beautiful! The actual property is better than the pictures. They don't capture the full extent of the amazing views and some are outdated since some furniture and appliances have been replaced. Overall it's a great house for family and friends to gather. The layout gives a lot of privacy for the bedrooms but allows everyone to be together in the main part of the house. There are a lot of pool floats and beach/snorkel gear available to use in the garage. The only downside that I didn't see mentioned much in other reviews is the steep, narrow, curved driveway. There's limited space to turn around and street parking isn't allowed, so parking is challenging for 2-3 cars.

Spectacular views! Beautiful pool and heated jacuzzi. Home was clean and and well appointed… including many “water fun”amenities. Kitchen had a surprisingly amount of staples which was a very nice bonus:-). Highly recommend!! 5+ stars!!

If you don't require hot water in your vacation rentals THIS is the property for you! The property management company did have the Problem fixed - AFTER FIVE DAYS! For this major inconvenience we were refunded one-half of one nights stay and we were directed to reread the rental contract when we said we were unsatified with the refund amount.
Less of an issue but still VERY annoying is that none of the photos show the giant hose you are required to leave floating in the pool during your stay as this is the only filtration system for the pool. It still doesn't get clean; so be prepared to scoop out all the bugs and frogs that will greet you in the morning.
This property is great if you like icy showers and a dirty pool at a premium price. Mahalo

What a Wonderful Kona property. Spacious, clean, oh so comfortable. My family could not stay out of the large (wide) swimming pool that stretched across the back side of the property. The wall to ceiling slide glass doors brought in the cooling trade winds. Air conditioning was on order when it became too hot. The complete gourmet kitchen had everything you would need. Even 2 coffee pots. Thank you to Kona Coast Vacations for providing some delicious Kona coffee. (we even drove to the coffee company to buy more). The Weber grill came in handy so we didn't have to venture out for most dinners (my son in-law is a great BBQ master). The large dinning room was more than enough room for the 6 of us with 2 toddlers. It could have seated 12 people.
The bedrooms were large and spacious and with king size beds. The platform beds were clean and comfortable. One master suite it's own wet bar.
The property had everything you need. Right down to the soap and shampoo.
Unfortunately, one bathtub/shower had a slow drain. I pulled out a big wad of hair and that was that took care of it. Be careful of the steep curved driveway. It's a little tough to navigate with a large SUV. There is no street parking.

The house was great and the pool was awesome! We spent most of our time in the pool. Three bedrooms had gorgeous ocean views. The main living areas all had ocean views.

When you search and search, read reviews and study properties hoping for the best, it’s wonderful when a property exceeds your very hopeful and high expectations!! Our group of 8 found this property to be all we hoped for and more!! Seeing everything in person after looking at the online pictures so many times, truly was a dream come true. The views of the ocean and sunsets are truly stunning. We spent so much time at the pool and spa enjoying that amazing view while relaxing. The beds were comfy, the house neat and clean and the kitchen easy to cook in. It was perfect for our group of 4 married couples to each have a room with a king bed and private bathroom. The large dining room table where you can open up all of the doors was utilized many times for dining and playing games. We felt right at home and loved every minute of our stay!! We highly recommend this beautiful home!!!

We loved it here so much so that we booked the property again. That said a few updates would be helpful like outlets near the beds for modern devices, the dishwasher works but seems like its making its last stand; and the main tv dies not support modern streaming apps

This property has it all! Two master bedrooms & baths upstairs & two bedrooms on main level. If I had a child under 3 I would ask for a pack n play & keep them upstairs. There are a LOT of sliding doors, making you feel outside when they are all open. The 180 degree views are incredible thx to the layout of the house. Overall the kitchen is well equipped (we had a birthday & had to go & buy a baking dish) but everything rlse we needed was there, including spices etc.

The photos don't do this justice. It's far better in person. This is a great Basecamp with stunning sunsets. The backyard is private and quiet. This is great for a family, because every room has it's own bathroom, and views! It's really close to a grocery store, Kona, and manta rays.
There are many pool toys and snorkeling gear, so you don't have to rent them.

I was born and raised in Fiji which has some of the most beautiful islands and landscapes in the world. I have been to Oahu 18 times and The Big Island 8 times. This was definitely the most stunning property I have ever stayed at. The view was incredible and the sunsets breathtaking! We actually cancelled our last dinner out because we wanted to enjoy our last sunset from the house. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The property is a very nice house with a huge pool. The view is absolutely gorgeous. We can see sunset on the ocean every day. The house is very clean and spacious. Property management is very responsible. The jacuzzi stopped working and the pool guy came in the next morning and fixed it. I strongly recommend this property if you visit big island.

Pictures can’t get across how nice this home is. It really made the vacation to be able to come home to such luxury- so much so, that we spent a lot more time there than we expected. It’s in a very quiet gated community, and the grounds were perfectly manicured. The house was very open with many glass sliding doors to enjoy the view from every room, including the two spectacular bedrooms upstairs that have large lanais of their own. It was also spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with a great modern look to it. There is a near 180 degree view of the ocean, along with the privacy provided by the lush vegetation. The pool is long enough to do laps, but we spent most of our time in the spa. Because this is a home, you get everything you would normally expect to have at home including a washer and dryer and a kitchen with all necessary cookware. We only ate breakfasts there, since the house is located close to the town of Kailua and many local restaurants. There are plenty of things to do nearby. Try snorkeling at Kahalu'u or Two Step, or just hang out there. We had a very nice tour of the Greenwell Kona Coffee Farms which is just around the corner, and the Paleaku Peace Garden isn’t to be missed. The house is close to the Kona airport and well situated for longer day trips to the northern and southern coasts as well as the volcano areas. I definitely expect to return to GMH, and would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat.

This place was fantastic. The house itself is large, well cared for, and a great space for a large group in a quiet neighborhood. I stayed there for a week, and it was great to have a beautiful view of the sunset every night by the lighted pool. A huge kitchen and large rooms with private bathrooms and balconies made this an awesome place to stay with multiple couples. Tons of restaurants and the main drag by the beach are within a 5 minute drive. We took surfing lessons in town, had tons of great poke bowls, and on our last day could see whales splashing around while sitting by the pool. Highly recommended, great property in a great location.

Our stay at this home was exceptional. The layout of the house is such that there is no "bad room" - every member of your group will have a comfortable, spacious, and clean space to make their own for the trip. The views are unbeatable and the house is located in a perfect spot for getting easily down into town for ocean activities, restaurants, shopping, and more. Did I mention the views are unbeatable?! This is truly a postcard-worthy vacation home and I would recommend it ten times over to any friend, family member, acquaintance, or stranger.

A modern, clean, spacious, totally relaxing and beautiful home. The luxurious accommodations and attention to the smallest detail in every room made this an exquisitely comfortable place to stay. A walk out to the deck with its swimming pool and colorful, well maintained garden — with a full view of the Pacific Ocean behind it — made this vacation superb. As a native NYC resident, reclining on a cushioned beach chair, watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean, with a private swimming pool right in front of me, all the comforts of home right behind me, and NO BUGS to annoy me qualifies this home as the best vacation residence I have ever stayed in.

I could have vacationed on the Big Island without having left this house and would have been happy. When you think of tropics, you think of flowers, ocean views, reclining chairs, cool breeze… and this place had it all. It was hard to leave with so many cozy chairs to laze around on! But luckily it was a 5-10 minute drive from Kailua-Kona, with incredible snorkeling and delicious restaurants (all the poké you could imagine), and you can take these beautiful drives either north or south to the magnificent hikes and views of the Big Island. This island itself has practically every type of natural phenomenon that you can imagine... volcanoes, rainforests, reefs- it is a truly incredible place. And each night, we were excited to get back to hang around! I'll be missing those sunsets for some time. Thanks for the amazing stay!

This was the trip of a lifetime for us. When my husband and I walked through the front door of this home, I was so overwhelmed by the view of the Pacific and by the beauty of the house and grounds, tears actually came to my eyes. The pictures in the listing don't do it justice. From the fully stocked kitchen, to the jacuzzi in the master bedroom, to the gorgeous pool and deck, there wasn't anything missing. I even got to watch my favorite soaps on the big HD TV in the bedroom. The house was meticulously clean (thankfully, no bugs), the decor was attractive and modern, and the AC was a blessing- it gets hot in Kona. Many restaurants and stores are minutes away, as is a beautiful snorkel beach. (Try to arrive early to snorkel- it gets crowded fast. We had a wonderful time at this premier location, and definitely plan to come back!

Thank you to the home owner who opened up this fantastic home for us to enjoy! This house is amazing. It's so spacious and gorgeous that we didn't want to leave. It's well appointed and very well taken care of. The artwork is interesting and tasteful, wood floors are beautiful and we were thankful for the air conditioners. The pool and the hot tub were so wonderful we never even bothered to head to the beach. Don't pack a lot because you won't want to leave the house and the washer and dryer are super handy!
The listing was accurate and the house was clean and well-maintained. Kona Coast Vacations was helpful the couple of times I called them to ask questions. We had no issues at all with this home and will definitely stay here again!
We usually stay at the Fairmont Orchid so we aren't very familiar with this part of the island, but try Lava Java in Kailua-Kona. We enjoyed dining there a couple of times!

This home is just as pictured in the photos. You get THAT sunset every night. We spent the first five days just sitting in front of the pool with cocktails in hand. The hot tub and the pool lights are a nice touch in the dark nights. The home itself is expansive. The double master bedrooms have views just as spectacular as the pool view as you see the resorts along the shore. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need. It's about a 10 minute drive to the main tourist drag with no traffic (20-30) with traffic, so not to far to get to the local restaurants and such. Definitely Stay here!
