Sue’s condo was perfect! The beach is just a 2 min walk across the grassy area. The condo was spotless & we had everything we needed for our beach days! I would recommend this space & I would stay again!

My wife and I on our 25th wedding anniversary. We have stayed at the village by the sea on many occasions as we love the facilities and the location. This condominium was exceptionally well stocked with everything a guest could need for a two week stay. Great view and a great location within walking distance of turtles just up the beach and we would definitely stay at this condominium again. Thank you so much, Sue!

Wonderful beach access to watch sunsets, play in the water and walk to see turtles. Bus stop close by was nice the first couple of days to get familiar with the island. We decided it was more conveniet to rent a car. It was nice to have laundry rooms on the building.
The host provides a very informative book and also kept in contact as we learned of a possible major tropical storm. It, fortunately, didn't happen, but we were informed and prepared.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Short drive to restaurants and shopping in Kihei. Easy access to the beach for those morning walks. A/C worked great and kept us comfortable. Would stay here again on our next Maui trip.

Sue was an excellent host and I would highly recommend her apartment. The views from our balcony were gorgeous. A short walk across the property leads to a small beach where you could see magnificent sunsets. Although the beach was not recommended for swimming, we saw people swimming there and they seem to be doing fine. We also really enjoyed being able to get into the pool and the hot tub which were meticulously maintained. I absolutely would recommend renting a car to take short trips to see sites around the island. Sue left a book of recommendations, and we enjoyed the beaches that she directed us to. All the equipment we needed was provided. I would definitely recommend Sue’s apartment and will even look forward to making another trip there in the future.

Exactly as advertised! Good location in a quiet, comfortable complex in Kehei. Convenient to pretty much everything in island. Small beach area a short distance across the lawn felt almost private. Loved the hot tub and pool!

Pool. Hot tub. Kids pool. Elevator. Nice folks. Fair price. Big apt. Barbecue grills. Putting green. Parking was good. Recycle bins. Apt was very very clean. Windows so spotless that you have to look twice so you do not try to walk out through the glass. Front desk has limited hours, but it works. Complex has busted washing machines and driers. But we were ok, since we did not need to do laundry. Not sure how the folks who live there get their laundry done!!

Had an absolutely perfect vacation stay at Sue’s condo in Kihei! Great convenient location on the south side of Maui with beautiful walkable beaches, crystal clear water and stunning sunsets. We played tennis, biked, ran and swam every day. Fully stocked kitchen was perfect for dining in and saving lots of money. Supermarkets only a mile away. Bed was very comfortable and the condo was super quiet at night. We highly recommend!

Sue’s place is just perfect. Great location, rent a car and go all over the island. When you’re done at the beaches, it’s close to wonderful restaurants in Kihei. She has beach chairs and umbrellas available which was awesome. Bring a reusable water bottle as she has filtered water on the fridge. Great view of the ocean from the balcony. Can’t say enough good things. Will be back.

The condo was as listed and more. Really had lots of towels, kitchen supplies, beach gear, etc. while it is on the parking lot side of the building, it has wonderful foliage and an ocean view. And the decor was to be noted as there were many prints/canvases of sunsets, sea, etc. Enjoyed my stay!!

My partner and I stayed at Sue's for a full month. It was a very pleasant place to stay long-term. We appreciated that the kitchen was stocked with all cooking utensils and appliances that you could need, including blender and rice maker. I didn't try to use the ice machine because we brought our own ice trays. Wi-Fi worked great. The condo is nicely furnished and decorated. It's clear that Sue has put thought into what the condo needs to be homey and comfortable.
The view from the lanai is beautiful and there are great beaches for snorkeling and swimming within walking distance. The neighbors were all very friendly, both long term residents and other guests.
Unfortunately, I think now is not a great time to go to Maui because there are too many other tourists, but that is another topic.

The condo was great! Very nice, clean and the property is beautiful. The AC gets cold quick and we realized most days we did not need it on. There is a laundry facility just a few doors down from the condo and that was super convenient. There is also a pool, hot tub and BBQ pits outside but we were too busy site seeing and did not use any of that. Sue provides beach towels, beach chairs and an umbrella, which is great to have. She also provides a book with a lot of information about the condo/property and places to visit. The beach is a short walk from the condo, however we drove to other beaches that we liked a little better. Overall, the condo was great and I would recommend it.

I gave this condo 4 stars based on the cleanliness of the unit, the beauty of the grounds and the hospitality of the check in staff and other guests.
As far as the unit goes, I’d give it a 2. The kitchen was remodeled nicely with most everything you’d need. Some sugar packets for coffee or tea would have been appreciated but all else was good. The bathroom was also nicely done and there was always hot water at the ready.
The condos furnishings could use some updates in my opinion. There was only one tv in the living room and it was very small. A nice tv to enjoy after a long day out and about is always welcomed and kind of basic for a rental. The bedroom could also use a tv. The bed was only a queen size and made quite a racket when getting in and out due to its springs. It was like sleeping in a torture chamber and the pillows were like rocks. An update here would be fantastic! There also was no washer/dryer in the unit as advertised in the listing. You had to walk down the hall to the coin operated laundry room. I like renting over hotels as I have the use of a washer. The host might add the fact that they are not not in the unit.
We were also very disappointed with the view from the lanai. The host zoomed in on the pictures of the lanai, which left out the fact that the unit is practically in the parking lot. Only being on the second floor it was virtually impossible to enjoy the ocean view with cars/people coming and going and work crews mowing the lawn very early. You can see the ocean but the parking lot really takes away from it. There was also work going on during our stay and the place had open dirt everywhere.
All in all it was an OK place to stay but I would not rent it again.

I’ve stayed on this property quite a few times and I was very pleased with Sue's condo. I see the construction is almost coming to an end👍🏻 Good thing is they don’t start until after 8:00 and they’re finished early so noise was not an issue. I will definitely continue to stay at this property.

We were very pleased with our stay here on Maui and Sue did an amazing job keeping us informed of things to do on the island and recommendations to eat and what beaches we should go to. Definitely a must stay! The unit has everything you need and it’s located right on the water. The sunrises and sunsets were perfect!

My husband and I spent 8 nights in paradise for our 10th wedding anniversary. Sue's place is fabulous and I can't believe the price! We love to cook and were very happy to find a kitchen with everything necessary to cook all of our favorites. You can't beat the location and the ability to walk straight out to the beach anytime you want. We will definitely be back to Maui and we will definitely stay in Sue's property again.

The property was great, clean and well-maintained. The location was perfect for getting to all the activities we had planned in great time. The property was also very close to stores and restaurants. The view was amazing! We were spoiled to get beautiful sunsets every night we were there, something we don't get at home. Sue was fantastic to deal with, quick to respond and all the information and tips we got from her were very helpful. The extra items she had available to use (beach chairs, beach mats, flippers, etc.) made our stay even more enjoyable then it already was. We hope we're able to come back and use this great property again! We'll definitely be letting anyone we know, who's going to Maui, about staying at this property. Thank you!

The condo was centrally located with great beaches nearby. We are the type of vacationers who like to cook at home rather than going out to eat each day. The condo was superbly equipped with everything we needed, including beach chairs ! Pool at condo was nice and kept clean. The lanai had wonderful view of the ocean which we took advantage of each night at sunset. Grocery stores are close by including Safeway and Times. There is a Costco on the island but is approx 10 miles away near the airport but worth getting gas there as it is about $0.70 cents per gallon cheaper there. The owner provided great instructions and tips regarding the island before we arrived. Check-in was easy and professional. There are laundry facilities right down the hall for $1.50 per load. We definitely plan on returning in the future! The condo made it a great vacation!

This is a very clean and quiet condo. The location for us could not have been better. It's close to a very long and uncrowded beach. Restaurants and groceries are a short drive away. The owners were very helpful when we booked and gave us some much appreciated information before we arrived. We will book this condo again if it's available.

We had an amazing time in Maui, and couldn't be happier with the choice to stay at this condo! The location was really great, since we had a rental car and could get anywhere within a short drive. We walked the three minutes to the beach by the condo every night to watch the sunset! The condo is very clean, well maintained and an easy place to call "home". It was great to have chairs, a cooler, umbrella and boogie board to use at the beaches, too. Thanks so much to Sue for making the whole rental process very easy, and being available for any questions we had leading up to our arrival. We will without a doubt be back!

Great getaway in Kihei, Hawaii! My wife and I had a great time, and loved every moment of feeling like we were coming 'home' each night. Owner is super nice and accommodating and went out of her way to assure we had a great experience. Good tips on the sunsets out back, local places to visit too! Would highly recommend this destination getaway for a couples vacation. Had everything you'd need at your fingertips, which was also very helpful and appreciated!

This place was perfect with a capital P! The condo was very clean and had every amenity that we would want or even ask for... nicely furnished, a wonderful lanai with a small table (where we had breakfast each morning), a well equipped kitchen, and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. We split our time between the beach & the pool, we loved the convenient location of the pool & it was never crowded. Heading to the beach was super easy: there are beach towels, snorkeling gear, and you can pack up the Tommy Bahama beach chairs with your sunscreen, book/magazine, snacks (there is zipper pouch) and your water & lunch (there is an insulated pouch, as well), strap them on like a backpack and off you go for a day of fun in the sun! Sue also has a small cooler if like. The grounds are beautiful, growing with the flowers of Hawaii and very well maintained. We cannot wait to come back!

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon for close to a week and enjoyed this property a lot. We woke up early and would view the sunrise from the lanai as well as the grass and beach in front of the property. The unit was comfortable and it was in a great location. It was easy to get to from the airport in Kahalui as well as nearby towns like Wailea. We would definitely recommend this folks looking for a central location who want to do and see a lot of places around Maui.

The condo was great, everything we needed was there. Location was central to all activities. Sue was easy to contact, and good to work with.
