Liked the large living room, very well-stocked kitchen, which included a dishwasher and full refrigerator, separate bedroom with Cal-King bed, wrap-around lanai (since it is a corner unit). The unit is on the first floor so did not have to haul luggage up the stairs. The assigned parking space was always available and is only steps away from the apartment. The laundry room is convenient. Had some questions about operating the TV, and appreciate that Bobbi stopped by to assist.

Communication was excellent and the one request we had while there was handled promptly and with a smile. Thank you Bobbi! Even before our visit, we had to make a reservation change for unforeseen personal reasons, and Glen was most helpful with that.The unit was very clean and exactly as advertised. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, especially with the small essentials one usually does not expect to find, such as aluminum foil, plastic containers, zip lock bags, etc., etc.We will be returning to Kailua-Kona, and hope this unit will be available when we do!

This is a charming place. We loved the birds, garden, and view. It was very private. The manager helped with every issue we had. The kitchen and whole unit was well stocked with everything one might need.

The accommodations provided everything you would need to enjoy your time in Kona; king bed, full bathroom, kitchen with all the basic utensils, living room w/ sliders to small outdoor area.
Note: The island weather takes a toil on the local buildings and complexes and almost all of these places could stand to be updated.If you are looking for a pristine place to stay, look elsewhere.

This place had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Loved the view, even if it is a partial ocean view the sunsets are amazing and the large garden lanai was so nice! A very short walk to the pool and ocean. Great location for hitting all the sights on the Kona side!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location of this well-appointed corner unit feels secluded. We especially loved the birds and the ocean view. Easy access to west coast beaches and whale watching.

Great stay at a perfect location. Nice to have fully equiped kitchen . The swimming pool was very relaxing with the sound of the surf 50ft away. 2min drive to top rated restaurants. Onsite laundry at a reasonallble price was a plus. Easy to get to all sights and attractions on tge big island. Would definitely stay again.

Unit had a well appointed kitchen and lots of beach items appreciated like cooler, chairs, umbrella. Short walk to pool and shoreline. Unit was somewhat older in terms of furnishings. stayed during Kona world championship so price was high at that time I guess vs previous stays in condo with water view in same area.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and homey my condo was. I shouldn’t have been because all the reviews also have stated something to this effect. I fed the birds every morning, on the lanai, as there was birdseed available to do this. I believe this unit is the only unit with a view of the ocean, and the unit above it. This was my first trip by myself and I stayed 11 nights. I felt very safe there and I spent so much time at the pool. It is literally right on the ocean, which was one of my favorite parts. The pool had a full view of the ocean plus the whole inlet where Kona town is. Of course, the sunsets were amazing! I will be back for sure! Thank you for providing such a lovely condo🥰

For 2 people, the unit was spacious. We enjoyed two walls of windows looking out onto the lanai and a partial view of the ocean. The complex is ideally located close to the ocean, restaurants and shopping.

The unit was clean, check in was easy, and the unit included everything you need for your stay, and additionally included beach chairs, umbrellas, ect. The unit is conveniently located and is showing some ware. Barbeque is a communal affair and is charcoal fired which was a surprise. Alcohol is prohibited anywhere outside of your condo, which was also a surprise. Further, the maintenance man stalks guests for compliance. A can of beer at the pool would have been nice!

We found the condo to be very comfortable, well equipped, and conveniently located. It suited our needs perfectly.
The kitchen was especially well equipped with everything you might have at home. My husband appreciates a good sharp knife and he was impressed. The view from our patio and from the pool area was lovely. Parking was convenient. Host was responsive.
My only suggestion would be to add a bedroom door.
We would definitely use this condo again.

We stayed here for 2 weeks with our 10 & 11 year old children the condo was big enough to accommodate everyone it was clean and had beach chairs and towels we could use. It’s a great location walking distance to downtown bars and restaurants and the view from the pool is amazing. The only thing is there was no bedroom door and the kids had to walk thru our room to get to the bathroom. Other than that it was fantastic. I would recommend it

We absolutely love this unit in Kona shores. We stayed for 2 weeks this trip. Everything was 5 star except the cleanliness. It was surface clean but really needed DEEP cleaned. Carpet was really dirty. But ya know….all in all it was wonderful!

This was a great condo to stay at. Right in a central location on Allii drive with restaurants and everything a short drive away. Glen was easy to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed his condo's lanai. We would definitely come here again!

I really enjoyed staying here. It was clean and in a great location. As a solo femme traveler, I really value safety. I felt very safe here even when coming back late at night. The patio was really nice to sit on at night. I would definitely stay here again.

Property was very nice and owner was good at communicating. Only thing I did not like was there were ants that kept coming in the kitchen (which I didn't use to eat in, so it was clean) and in the bathroom. No matter how many times I killed them, they came back. Maybe the owner can have someone come spray and that would keep them away.

The condo was very spacious and comfortable, and was clean and well maintained. Parking was convenient with an assigned space very close to the unit. The equipped kitchen had everything we needed and having air conditioning was really nice! The property is a little older but everything seemed well maintained. It’s a little far from the main tourist area of A’ali drive - you’ll probably have to drive to restaurants and shops unless you’re prepared for a long walk to get there, but on the plus side that’s why it’s so quiet on this property. One note is that there’s no door between the bedroom and living area. It’s no problem for a couple but there’s no privacy and wouldn’t work well for families or other groups traveling together. Overall we loved it and would definitely stay here again!

I can't image ever staying in a hotel! This was an incredible 1 bedroom condo that had everything we needed for a fun 1 week on the Big Island! It felt like we were outside because of the floor to ceiling windows, the natural light was abundant. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch and dinner every night. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast on the patio with an ocean view. The best part of this condo was the beach closet - which had everything we needed - boogie board, chairs, umbrella, cooler, and there were even ice packs in the freezer. I felt like my home was transplanted to the Big Island. The area was safe and secure and walking distance to the center of town (we watched the parade one day). We also enjoyed watching the sunset at the pool that overlooked the ocean.

My now fiance and I stayed at this condo back in 2003 when we made our first trip to the Big Island of Hawaii. We absolutely loved the location of this condo complex since it's right in the middle of downtown Kona with lots of enterainment and restaurants but it still wasn't very crowded. Especially loved the huge pool sitting on top of a lava point where we could just go walk down on the rocks by the ocean...that trip helped lead to where we're at right now getting married! Because we were so impressed with this condo, we've chosen to return to Kona Shores for the 2nd week of our honeymoon on the Big Island; however, we're staying in the 2BR instead mostly because of the jacuzzi. :)
