The location was perfect. Close to beaches, restaurants and shopping. The condo was clean and comfortable. The views of the ocean and the volcano were amazing. The landlord was responsive to questions and concerns. Beach equipment was available for our family of 6. If we ever come to Maui again, we will definitely stay here. It felt like our home away from home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Darrell and Tammie’s Maui condo. It is literally across the street from the beach and only a couple of minutes from the Kihei boat launch for snorkel tours. We loved to sit out on the lanai and just enjoy the beautiful weather when we rested between activities. It is centrally located to all the various areas of the island - and we took full advantage of what the island has to offer.
Parking was always great. The condo is stocked with anything you need at home and at the beach. All the beach supplies are in great condition, which is so rare. The boys loved body boarding at Hamoa Beach (highly recommend!). Most importantly for me, the condo was clean and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again when we return to Maui.
As we left, my 17 year old son said, “I am going to miss this place.” That’s a pretty good endorsement.

Darrell & Tammie have a wonderful home. The check in process was easy and the premises were nice and clean. I greatly appreciated the personal touch with the phone call to ensure our stay was going well, and the recommendation to check out the swap meet in Kahului was perfect for my family. I’ll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Maui!

The property was just as listed and located in a fabulous area of Maui. The condo was on the third floor and enabled us to see the ocean and sunsets.
The property owners had beach gear and boogie boards, and a sport wagon for our use. So nice and happily used!!

Our family of six celebrated graduations and our 30th anniversary at this location and it was perfect. The owners communicated well and went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. The location is an easy walk across the street to the beach and we saw fish, sea turtles, and even an eel while snorkeling there. Boogie boarding was fun with the owner’s nice boards and having beach chairs and umbrellas made our days at the beach enjoyable. Restaurants are easy to walk or drive to and offered delicious seafood and local cuisine. Local Kihei food trucks were among our favorite stops. The condo was comfortable, clean, and peaceful. The condo pool was also a pleasant way to end our day, with a perfect temperature. Do not hesitate in booking this location. We will be back!

Everything was great, the hosts are wonderful and very responsive. Loved the access to the beach and we had a great time playing tennis and having pool access.

We had a wonderful stay. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning kept all rooms at a good sleeping temperature. We didn't really use the kitchen, but it had all of the basics that we would have needed. Easy check-in process. Loved the location. Kihei is a very cute beach town. Easy walk to the Cinnamon Roll for morning coffee and pastries. Walked to Maui Thai Bistro, Fred's Mexican Grill, and Coconut's Fish Cafe for dinners. Kamaole Beach park is a great location for sunset. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Maui.

Condo was good. Lots of beach chairs etc. Beds are super FIRM. Not comfortable. Pull out bed upstairs needs new mattress very uncomfortable. Didn't use the downstairs pullout. Have stayed in other units with more comfortable beds.

Tammie & Darrell’s place was an amazing condo with great amenities views and spacious enough for our group of 6 to relax and enjoy and not feel crowded or in each others space after a long day of exploring the beautiful isle of maui.
We really enjoyed the two pools to cool off in. The AC in each room really cooled the space down quickly and the lanai is a great spot to drink you’re morning coffee. It’s a clean well stocked and easy to navigate for extra blankets or towels. The lanai closet was filled with lots of beach supplies- chairs snorkels coolers and boogie boards and
If we’re ever in Maui again we’ll defiantly look at booking this rental again!

This condo was perfect for our very first visit to Maui! We were celebrating my sons graduation from high school with family and friends. I had no idea on where to stay while researching Maui. I just went on previous reviews. I can honestly say this location was perfect. My criteria was 1. Walking distance to the beach. 2. Snorkeling from the beach. 3. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. 4. Close proximity to airport and other important destinations. This condo checked all the boxes. The beach was perfect. We watched sunrises and sunsets, we watched sea turtles and we used most of the beach equipment that is provided in the condo. The coolers, umbrellas, beach chairs and snorkel gear was perfect. The location was perfect. We walked to dinner most of the evenings. There were plenty of additional restaurants and shops just down the street. We participated in several excursions around Maui so the central location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever lucky enough to visit Maui in the future.

Everything was accurate. Beach is across the street.Restaurants and stores within walking distance.Several beaches with in 15 minutes all different.We were looking for a space for 5 adults to relax; have a few hours working from home; everything close and convenient since only 2 drive rest could find plenty to walk and see.This place was a perfect fit.
We enjoyed meals in and out. We were lucky to get into MAMA'S FISH HOUSE. DARRELL was quite forth coming and made sure everything was as advertised.As a family with adult children in different states this get together in Kihei was one we all enjoyed!!
A 5 for sure and definitely would return.
We have been to Hawaii often now my husband wants to move to Maui!!!

Owners we great, even personally called our first day to make sure everything was ok and offered ideas for fun places to go during our stay. Everything was there for the beach, coolers, chairs umbrellas etc. Nice location in the complex gives you a sunrise and sunset view from the lanai. Thank you for the use of your beautiful condo!

This was the perfect location for our family of 5 to enjoy a wonderful family vacation! The owners were extremely helpful in responding to our questions, and the condo was perfect for our family. We loved our stay at this Kihei condo! Here’s our bullet point review
Hits:
-great communication and problem solving from Darrell the owner
-mattresses were actually comfortable!
-super walkable location to beaches and great restaurants
-immaculate landscaping throughout the complex
-a huge variety of recreation gear for the beaches and tennis court
-a/c in all rooms
-door lock operated by a key code so there’s no worrying about where you put the key
-ample parking
-clean coffee maker
-great ice maker
-laundry in the unit
-relatively quiet at night
We only noticed one area for improvement: the boogie boards and a few kitchen tools are showing their age (typical for any vacation rental IMO) but I’m sure Darrell and Tammy won’t let that slide much longer since they’re such conscientious owners.

Property was very well stocked with all the basics. Had all the necessary items for the beach (cooler, chairs, toys, towels, etc). Had all the basic household items to to get us by (paper towels, TP, of course coffee).
Place was clean and everything "worked" in the condo - which is often not the case for other places.
The location was the best. You can easily walk to one of the nicer beaches in Maui. The beach next to the condo is very family friendly and has great sunsets. Condo fit the 5 of us in our family (2 adults and 3 kids). Pool was also nice. And area was quiet. Would definitely go back.

We all enjoyed our stay and loved being so close to the beach. It was so easy just to grab the chairs, umbrellas, towels, ice chest and snorkeling gear right out of the closet and walk across the street to the beach. Darrell and Tammie, were super helpful with giving us information on places to go and things to do. We had 5 adults and we were all very comfortable, their Maui getaway was beautiful. I would definitely stay again.

Great experience renting this condo! Tammie and Darrell have a lovely and comfortable place in Kihei. Every morning we had our coffee on the lanai and in the evening we had dinner there too. The coastal breeze and the view was perfect, as well as the proximity to the beach. The property was very well maintained with helpful staff in the office ready for any question. I highly recommend!

I visited Maui with my two grown children, and the condo was perfect for us. It is modern, spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Everything is in excellent condition. Having the extra space and a full kitchen was a big plus over a hotel room. We also loved the lanai with the beautiful views of the volcano and the ocean. They also provide beach chairs, beach mats, snorkeling gear, tennis rackets, coolers, etc. The condo grounds are beautiful as well. The owners were very helpful and answered all my questions. The on-site staff were also very nice. We had a later flight and they arranged a late checkout which we really appreciated. The location is across from beautiful Kam III beach where you can swim and snorkel from shore - we saw sea turtles every day. There's also a nice nature trail right off the beach. Finally, there are lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. If (when) we return, I would definitely stay here again!

We are French Canadian and we stayed at Darrell and Tammie's condo for 10 days. We were a party of 6: parents, 2 children (11 and 16) and the grand parents. The Condo is perfectly situated with all the ameneties you need for the kitchen, bathrooms, beach supplies etc. The Kamaole beach is perfect for bodyboard with children, snorkling ( saw 3-4 turtles) and it's very close to the condo. Just a couple of steps and you are at this perfect beach. Since my step father and I have health issues it was important for us to be close to the beach. The sunsets are amazing, don't miss them.
The Condo is centrally located and you are about 40 min from the airport. Restaurants and shopping can be from steps to a couple of minutes by car.
It was a perfect vacation and for us, Maui is the most beautiful Island compare to Big Island and Oahu.
Can't wait to go back again.

This condo was a great find in the Hale Kamaole complex. We like being close to Kamaole Beach III and really appreciated having the use of the beach chairs, snorkeling fins, and boogie boards. We enjoyed the tennis courts and pools on the condo grounds as well as sunset from the lanai. The condo is fully equipped, kitchen has everything we needed (and then some). The owners are very responsive. We would rent this condo again anytime.

Had an excellent 5 week stay, Third time there for us. Everything we needed for the long stay was there and we even left some staples behind as we appreciated some of the upon our arrival late in the night Pool and tennis court behind us as the barbeques also. Management staff (condo coop) very friendly and helpful. Beach just down the street and plenty of parking. The owner even called us to make sure everything was okay. We will be back
