We enjoyed our stay at this condo in quiet community. Very clean, well-maintained 1b/2 full bath with wall a/c units in master and livingroom. A/c units keep condo very comfortable. King bed very comfy with quality linens and towels. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you'd need to cook or make a picnic lunch. We loved that the condo was on the 1st level. Enjoyed the oceanview everyday. Owners very responsive with any issues. Loved the owner recommendations for activities and restaurants. Check-in and access to condo very easy. I would recommend this condos for a great vacation. We'll book this unit again.

We liked it very much. And the hosts have a good attention to details.
The day of the check in I received a text. making sure I had the access information, which had come in the email several days before.
Everything you need us there chairs boogie boards, coolers, well-stocked kitchen, cleaning supplies, etc.
There was just two of us but there’s a pull out bed and lots of air mattresses and things like that if you’re a family and plenty of room upfront to spread them out, that’s a nice family touch.
Highly recommended the only reason I would say anything else is so it’s open the next time I want to go ha ha because we would definitely go back. Thank you, Kevin.

Beautiful location close to beaches. Clean home with all amenities needed including cookware, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, towels, sheets, dish soap/detergent and washer/dryer detergent/dryer sheets. Very impressed! Access to pool in the condos was nice as well. Beautiful views of the sunset over the ocean each night as well.

We had never visited Maui and were not sure if we had picked a good property and location. We could not have been more pleased with our stay. The place is really nice, clean and everything in working order. The location is awesome with great beaches and views. It’s stocked with all the things you need for a nice day at the beach it’s walkable to nice areas to eat and drink, but we mostly used Uber to save time.

I really enjoyed my time in this condo - it's quiet, spacious, with a lovely patio and view... plus something rare - a fully equipped kitchen with counter space and a actual appliances! You can cook here! It's located at the Wailea end of Kehei close to a great beach and within a few minutes of lovely Wailea beaches. Maui isn't large, so you can easily drive everywhere - it took us 15 minutes to get to Paia and the jungle. The owners are very friendly and use the condo themselves. I highly recommend this property.

The condo is perfectly situated to view some of the most beautiful sunsets that can be experienced. The property was well maintained, clean and located in a fine place to take advantage of beach and other activities on Maui. The condo was well appointed with up to date bathroom and kitchen facilities. We especially liked the small back private patio for early morning coffee .

Matt and Shu’s place is delightful, a quick walk to the beach park. A little bit longer walk to restaurants like Cafe O’lei and Coconuts. A more energetic stroll takes you along miles of shoreline trails. Shu is the best and easily available.

Shu and Matt’s condo was wonderful. It was just redone with high end counter tops great showers all new appliances. Great location and view. Shu went out of her way to make our stay very special. We have stayed in the MK complex at least 15 times before and none have been better.

Cons:
-There were a lot of cockroaches in the condo. The bug man did come by during our stay and afterwards we found 10+ dead cockroaches in the house including in the microwave.
-The owners contacted us after booking and heavily pressured us to not use VRBO and to pay them directly. After we said that we were not comfortable doing this they said they were going to cancel our booking, but never did. The overall booking process was stressful and felt deceptive.
-The bedding and pillows are very worn and need replacing.
Pros:
-Great location. 10 minutes to walk to the beach. 15 -20 minutes to walk to the shops.
-The community pools are nice and there is a hot tub.
-The condo has beach supplies including beach chairs, umbrellas and snorkel gear.
-The kitchen had everything we need to cook with including a coffee pot and blender.

Very disappointing. After we walked in the front door I went to the kitchen to wash my hands. When I picked up the dish towel next to the sink it was covered with dried spaghetti sauce. When I laid down on the rug in the living room to stretch my back there was major dust and debris under all the furniture. The couch was so uncomfortable you could feel the springs from the hide a bed poking you. There was no place to sit in the condo that was comfortable. The mattress in the bedroom had no support. The towels and sheets were tired and worn. Too many issue to even list. The worst part was when we paid for our stay the owner send us a letter saying the following:
To avoid numerous VRBO fees, once guests feel comfortable they can book with us directly.
We found this unethical and unprofessional.

Once again we are a 3 time repeat at H105. Stayed a relaxing 21 nights including Christmas and New Years. This condo has everything including the most spectacular view and sunsets. The Shus and this condo is superior!! Can't say enough about how well it is stocked and equipped and how pleasurable the Shu's are to work with.

We stayed in H-105 two separate times this year for a total of 20 nights. We have stayed at Maui Kamaole a number of times in the last few years and this unit is as nice as any in the entire complex and much better than most of the ones we've seen in person and online. Definitely home away from home, if home is only a couple of hundred yards from the ocean and an island paradise! You can't go wrong with this one, and the owners are super nice, reliable and easy to work with. Five thumbs up!

We stayed in H105 for 22 nights. It was a wonderful place to stay and we will for sure try to rent it again. She is very easy to deal with. We had a minor plumbing problem and it was taken care of right away.

Went to Maui and did the hotel thing. Don't do it. This condo is really nice. Has everything you need and the property is very beautiful as well. You have two pools that are almost always empty. You don't have to fight for parking you have your own spot. Having a kitchen lets you cook if you like. This condo has an beautiful ocean view as well. The grounds are really pretty and you don't have to pay the extra resort fee per day that all the hotels on Maui charge you. When we are ready to visit Maui again we will defiantly rent this condo.

This is the third time we have stayed at Matt & Sue"s, and it is more enjoyable each time. They have added a new 55 inch Samsung TV. Since I have a fairly new Samsung Galaxy phone, I can connect to the TV, and anything that shows on my phone screen, I can watch on the TV. This includes pictures taken, videos, and movies I have downloaded on my Phone. The unit as always, remarkably clean. Big plus, the unit is well stocked with spices. The air conditioners also have timers which allows you to leave for the day with the units off, and have the timers turn the air on a couple hours before you return.
Also, a big thanks to the staff at the Maui Kamaole. I had one of those senior moments when at a beach an hour away, I couldn't remember if I locked the door (I did). I called the assistant manager's phone number, and within ten minutes they called me back, saying everything is OK, saving me a needless return trip. Again, a great stay in a great unit, with great owners, and a very helpful condo staff. Look forward to staying there again next year.

What a wonderful place to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary! The condo was located in a beautifully and well maintained condominium complex. We loved our condo which had an ocean view and was beautifully renovated. There is plenty of closet space and two nice size bathrooms, and two lanais. The windows and patio doors let in a wonderful breeze throughout the condo. And the beautiful and fully stocked kitchen was a great asset to our stay. This condo easily lives up to its billing. We appreciated all the beach amenities provided by the owners---it definitely made our time at the beach very enjoyable. The owners were very pleasant and helpful---they sent us information on places to shop and eat and things to see on Maui. My husband and I loved their condo and the whole complex because of the cleanliness, amenities and beauty of the property. One of my must-haves on a vacation is a nice pool, and they had two well maintained and beautifully landscaped pool areas with hot tubs, grills and plenty of seating. The complex is within walking distance of a beautiful beach that we just fell in love with. We highly recommend this condo to everyone!

I highly recommend this unit. Not only is it centrally located on the best part of the island (South Kihei/Wailea) but the complex is well run and this unit is in a great spot. The owners were attentive and the unit was very comfortable and quiet, and has an ocean view. The kitchen is well stocked; the towels and beach accessories are great and the price was reasonable for the location and amenities. I highly recommend this unit at the Maui Kamaole. You are in walking distance of an awesome yoga studio (Maui Yogapath), the best beach on the island (Keawakapu) and a great organic grocery (Hawaiian Moons).

great condo, great location. highly recommend staying there. We will never use VRBO again, though. When we were booking the rental, their website said there would be a fee if we used our credit card. When we called VRBO to get instructions for paying by electronic check, we were told that we would not be charged a credit card fee. Well.....of course we were charged a fee, and when we called to complain, the VRBO staff were basically dishonest and gave us a total runaround. So...5 stars for the condo, negative 5 stars for VRBO. We hope that Matt and Shu switch over to a different rental system.

We stayed at Maui Kamaole H-105 and it was great! This unit has a full ocean view from the lanai and also from inside the condo. Picture postcard sunsets every night. Very close to the beach. MK and Kamaole III are in a microclimate sweet spot where it can be raining to the north and the south but It is sunny at MK. It is one of the nicest complexes in S. Kihei. Condo comes with boogie boards...what a blast! No complaints.

This rental was just as described! Everything was very clean and well-maintained! We had all the amenities of being at home plus all of the extra beach equipment! Very short walk across the street to a beach with great swimming/boogie boarding! Beautiful sunset views from the lanai-great way to end the day! The king size bed was super comfortable as well! The owner' have several info books at the condo for guests and were more than willing to answer any questions!

We spent 10 days here in May and loved it. What a great and easy stay. The condo is conveniently located next to a great park/beach and just blocks from restaurants and shopping. It is well equipped with beach toys, cooler, towels, chairs, umbrella, etc, but also ready to make you comfortable when you are inside and serve a family that enjoys cooking and eating in.
Our 16 month old toddler loved the fact that there were no steps inside the condo and he was free to run around. He also had a blast in the two pools and hot tubs in the complex and in the swings in the park across the street. The exposure of the condo is great for sunsets, which also means the sun is very mellow in the mornings and you can even find shady spots on the beach until mid-morning from the trees nearby (again perfect for the little ones).
The beach across the street from the condo has a great snorkeling spot with resident turtles that were easy to spot every time we tried, and it also happens to be a great place for boogie boarding when the swells come in. Speaking of which, the beach was closed for little kids during most of our stay due to the swells, but that wasn’t really a big deal as the next beach just around the corner to the north (also within walking distance from the condo) had a section that was always calm.
We will definitely consider it again when we return to Maui.

This is a great rental condo. It's clean, well layed out, and is well stocked. We enjoyed how close it was to the beach - yet just far enough back from the road that you could not hear the traffic. I will definately stay here again.

We stayed at Sheraton and Westin hotels for 4 nights, and rent this condo for 3 nights. I have to say that I should stayed at this wonderful condo for whole vacation. Both of Sheraton and Westin are great hotels, but the meal is very expensive. We had to drive to McDonald every morning for breakfast. Plus we need pay $30 per night for resort fee. We spent at least $150 everyday for meals.
This condo has everything you need, such as sand toys, surfboard, cooler, beach umbrella and beach chairs. Compared with staying at hotels, I like this vacation house. Staying at vacation house, we can cook and wash clothes. Plus with kids, there is bigger room for kids in the condo than in hotels. I go to Maui again, I will stay at this condo again.

We have stayed at Maui Kamaole in 4 other units over the years and this one is definitely the best. Clean, spacious and so very well equipped - with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. We especially loved your high quality dinnerware, the clean tile flooring everywhere and your unique artwork. Being able to make dinner while looking out at the ocean and then sit on the lanai to enjoy the sunset was very special. Coffee on the lanai in the morning was also great - with views of whales and sounds of birds nearby. Nice quiet, private location with great access to all beaches - within walking distance or short drives. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

Booking and paying were a breeze. Upon arrival to condo, was very clean and well equiped.
Had one issue with the shower not working, contacted Matt and Shu and they got someone right on it! The owners were very responsive to any trouble/questions while we were staying at the condo.
Location was perfect-directly across the street from some of the best swimming beaches in Maui. The condo was stocked with everything we needed for the beach:

We enjoyed staying in this home away from home and will highly recommend to friends and family. We will definately stay again if we travel to Maui in the future.

We have been to Maui three times now and each time is better. Shu and Matt your condo is lovely and clean. It is a condo you can actually live in. We loved the patio and the nightly ritual with the neighbors. You have an awesome location and it is very quiet and relaxing. The pools and hots were an added bonus. We will definitely stay with you again if you have openings. And fellow renter the pictures do not do the property justice. It is much nicer in person.

My husband and two sons (17 and 20 yrs) stayed at the condo over Christmas 2012. The location was fantastic. We LOVED being able to hang out on the lanai after a day at the beach or sightseeing and watching the sunsets. We even saw whales one evening! The master bed was very comfortable. The sightseeing books were a great resource. The beach towels and chairs were well used! Everything was very easy and straight forward from beginning to end. Suggestions for future: have more dish towels (both for washing and drying available) there were only two and we used the kitchen alot; have more clothes washer soap (there were only two tablets and we went and bought more that we left in the condo for future users). We also had to buy a bigger frying pan that we left there. The two tiny fry pans made it very difficult to do bacon and eggs for all of us in the morning without it taking a LONG time! (which delayed our trips to the beach), so we broke down and bought the fry pan! Minor things. We had the best holiday we've had in 10 years! Thank-you and we look forward to being back.

Just returned from a wonderful 5-day Maui vacation. The condo was perfect, sparkling clean, well kept and furnished, a minute walk to the beach, even better views!
We loved the lanai, large, beautiful, peaceful and private. We enjoyed morning coffee sitting on the lania while taking in the breath-taking ocean vista. We slept well on the comfortable bed and pillows and we were ready for our next day's activities.
We appreciated the free beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler etc. The recommendation list were extremely helpful to maximize our 5-day stay in Maui. Thank you for sharing your lovely, well stocked and well cared for condo with us. Thank you for your hospitality. We look forward to coming back!

Took a last minute Maui vacation in June. We decided to stay here beacuse of the ocean view, the great location, reasonable rental price, the condo looked very clean, close to the beach, and the owner was helpful and easy to work with.
We made the right decision. The condo exceeded our expectations. Wow, what a fabulous ocean view! We enjoyed looking at the deep blue ocean in the morning while having our breakfast and watching the sunsets from the living room and lanai every day. The condo was spanking clean, tidy, very comfortable and quiet, and is very well-equipped.
The owner is very easy to work with and offered many useful recommendations for snorkeling, shopping, and dining. Copies of the best guidebooks were on the coffee table for us to use. It was very hard for us to leave after 9 days. We will without a doubt book this unit again for our next Maui trip!

I stayed at H105 week of June 4th. Condo is very clean with all new furniture, everything you need in the kitchen. High speed internet worked great. You can walk out the lanai and over to Kamole beach park right across the street, excellent beach for hanging out and catching some rays. Nice restaurants a few blocks down the street, I especially liked Cuatro. I stayed in G111 last year and this is just as good a location, right at front with ocean view. If you want to see turtles and fishes without driving too far head down the road to Ulua beach (about a mile or so) first thing in the morning I would always see a few turtles there is a decent sized reef and the place is not crowded at all (maybe because it was low season, not sure).
