We had a great visit to Maui this December 2023. The condo unit and complex were fantastic. We played pickle ball and spent many nights at the BBQ pit meeting other guests. The unit was clean and had all that we needed during our stay. Sunsets were amazing and we also got to see some whales. Thanks Chris for making our experience great!

We booked two condos in Hale Kamaole. We had 10 people in our group so were looking for places that would fit us all without breaking the bank, and this was fine. This particular unit was clean, open, and as described. It was certainly the nicer of the two. My wife and I stayed in this one and took the master suite with the private bathroom.
Check in and out was simple and easy. The property owner was easy to communicate with.
We had some smokers in our group who didn't like the fact that there were just a couple of spots on the property they could smoke. We of course did not smoke in the unit and would not in any event.
The parking lot was a bit cramped for our large vehicles but that was just a minor inconvenience.
We were in fact right across the street from the beach which was nice to just walk to when we wanted, and all the amenities of Kihei were a short drive away.
Overall I would recomend this for a larger group.

It was amazing. The views were awesome and so close to the beach. Everything went smoothly and when we had any issues they were corrected immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

Been a visitor to this area since 1985 and got my start at the legendary Hale Kamaole. This was a nice little unit with enough space for a family of 5 and featured a well appointed kitchen. The view of the upper grounds and pool is very good and you can see enough surf on the distance to know whether the trade winds are blowing too hard for a relaxed beach day. The grounds are impeccable - the best in all Kihei by far - and the pool chairs are always comfortable, in every position. The Vondettes are excellent owners who rely great pride in providing an excellent vacation for their guests. And I hear a new boogie board is inbound - pair that with some ML Churchill fins and you have a guest for life.
Lastly much love and malama to the people of West Maui and Lahaina. We were so glad to visit before it was gone, and so sad to see what has happened. Maui Strong to all the ohana and send that money to:

This property is quiet and tucked away in a beautiful complex of condos. Just cross the street and you're at an amazing beach (good for swimming!). The condo was clean and came stocked with beach chairs, books, a full kitchen, and air conditioning was available if needed (we used ours at night only). Would stay here again!

We decided to visit Maui after 20 years and I have to say, it was about damn time! But seriously, choosing this property was the best decision! We brought our 3 teenage kids and 75-year-old mom and we had the best time! I was very impressed with the detailed information and communication with Chris even prior to our stay... I knew we were in good hands! The condo is on the 3rd floor and right off one of the elevators making it very easy to haul our many luggages. We never had any issues finding a parking space. The condo was CLEAN (props to the housekeepers)! We enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and eating breakfast on the lanai. The beds were super comfy and the shower water pressure was just perfect! We enjoyed using the beach chairs, umbrella and body boards that were provided and enjoyed the beautiful Maui artwork on the walls. The condo was quiet and we felt safe. Walking distance to the beach where we watched the beautiful sunset. Appreciated all the recommendations that Chris provided (Maui Madness pizza was delish and Keawakapu Beach was gorgeous). We also really enjoyed the sandwiches from 808 Deli. Even though we only were there for 3 nights, it felt like our home away from home. Will definitely stay here again but wont wait another 20 years lol! Mahalo Chris for making our stay memorable!

Our stay was great! The location was wonderful. The view was awesome. Large bedrooms and bathrooms. The den area was very warm but we rarely used the kitchen or den areas. We tried to follow the directions to regulate the temps in the den but we never figured it out. The bedrooms we very comfortable and the temps were perfect in the bedrooms. Loved the closeness of the beach area and walked across the street for sunsets each night. Thankful for the cooler, snorkeling gear and abundance of towels. The host was very accommodating!

This place was so great we didn’t want to leave! It was clean. Everything was just as it was advertised, and it was not only steps away from the beach, but steps away from the perfect park to view the sunset! We will be back again, and again!

This place had everything we needed and more. Two couples in our 50’s. We have done many rentals and we’re amazed by how this home just had all necessities. This property has everything you need in a getaway. It is clean, has all the amenities you’d want (like dishwasher, laundry machines, kitchen, beach supplies, and even small things like plastic wrap and sandwich bags).
The location is great too, just a short minute walk to the beach and close by to plenty of shops. Not to mention the sunsets we’re beautiful.
The owner is very helpful in providing any helpful information that you’d need to have a nice and relaxing trip.

We had an unforgettable time in Kihei at this lovely and well equipped condo. It was exactly as described, very clean and open, and we had plenty of space for 4 adults and one kiddo. The pool was fantastic, we used it daily, and the grounds were immaculately kept. The staff on site is also wonderful and we enjoyed chatting to guests as well. We found this particular location was close to everything we wanted to do while in Maui, and we also really enjoyed sticking around at the local beaches, bars and restaurants in Kihei. I don’t think there’s a better place to stay on the island! We’ll definitely return. Thank you, Chris!

We loved our 2 week stay at Chris' property in Kihei. It's location is perfect! It was fantastic being across the street from the beach, an easy walk to restaurants and shopping and a short drive to Wailea. When we had a concern about the fridge not being cool enough, he was easy to contact, quick to respond and had someone out to look at it right away. The condo provided ample space for the 4 of us and everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you Chris! We will be looking forward to staying at your property again in the future.

We were two couples who stayed here for 16 nights in February 2022. We thought the location was perfect. We were a short walk across the street from Kam III beach, but far enough from the road that there was no road noise. We could walk to many restaurants and bars. Early morning walks south to Wailea were lovely and shady, before the sun got too hot.
The Kitchen, though small, was very well stocked and all the appliances worked perfectly. Washer and dryer are HUGE so lots fits into one load. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, so we could see the ocean and sunset from our lanai, and the ceilings were very high and beautiful. We didn't even try the TV - that's how awesome everything else to do was. Before dinner, we walked to to the beach with drinks and chairs, and watched the gorgeous sunset. A chorus of conch shells accompanied the sun's last rays.
We did not use the AC very much because there was usually a lovely breeze flowing through in the evenings to cool everything off for sleeping. It did come in handy, and worked well, on the one night when the air was still.
BBQ near the pool was a good social time. Pool was clean, albeit small and grounds were beautifully maintained.
We would recommend this condo to anyone going to Maui!

Easy check in and out. The condo was beautifully decorated, spacious, each bedroom clean with comfortable beds. The kitchen well stocked. The property was lovely and the landscaping well kept. Short walk to the beach for daily sunsets. Condo location in Kihei was convenient to walk to the local stores in the area. Our host, Chris gave get great recommendation for location restaurants and attractions (sent a list prior to check in). Appreciated your recommendations. My family and I had a great vacation week staying at Chris condo. We definitely would stay again in Chris condo. I high recommend Chris condo, location won't disappoint.

We had a wonderful time in Maui as it’s been over 18 years since we last visited. This condo was centrally located, clean and had all the amenities needed to make our stay perfect. The only negative was for some reason, cigarette smoke from the exterior would blow into the downstairs and upstairs bathrooms. Over time, the smoke would dissipate but it was kind of annoying. We stayed 8 nights so we had to buy more soap and shampoo - something to consider if you’re staying a bit. We used the pool at 8:00 a.m. so it was never crowded. The beach is a 3 minute walk from the condo - we caught quite a few beautiful sunsets by setting ourselves up on a grassy area. We will definitely stay at this condo again!

This condo is in a fabulous location in Kihei. Walk to the beach, two great pools on the property and close to shops and restaurants. We were in Maui for our son’s wedding. 5 families rented in this complex and we all were pleased.
