SPECIAL COVID-19 UPDATE & OUR CANCELLATION POLICY: The State of Hawaii has imposed and extended the requirement of a 14-day quarantine period for all inter-island and trans-Pacific travelers until at least October 15, 2020. As owners of a short term vacation rental, we are not permitted to rent to anyone subject to a quarantine. It is tentatively planned, effective October 15, 2020, that trans-Pacific travelers will be able to avoid a quarantine if they have a negative COVID-19 test result obtained within 72 hours of departure. Even so, these are uncertain times. We want to help as much as we can. You can book in confidence knowing that we have refunded 100% of all rental amounts paid for cancelled reservations due to COVID-19 since March 2020 and will continue to do so. Our undertaking is that, regardless of our normal cancellation policy, if you need to cancel a reservation due to any COVID -19 related reason whatsoever, up to even the day of scheduled arrival, we will refund all rental amounts paid. Note that VRBO holds all funds paid until check-in. Our spacious private lanai looks to the ocean through the interior of this quiet complex, offering views of the expansive lawns, pools, and lush tropical landscape of palm trees, hibiscus, birds of paradise and plumeria trees as well as views of the beautiful Pacific Ocean, with the islands of Kahoolawe and Molokini in the distance. There are two pools, two barbeque areas, each with both charcoal and gas grills, a covered pavilion, and a full size tennis court on the property. The beautifully landscaped Hale Kamaole complex is directly across from Kamaole III State Beach Park, one of the most beautiful and safest beaches in the Islands. It is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, sunning, jogging, picnicking, kite flying, and especially enjoying amazing sunsets and whale watching. Wonderful Keawakapu Beach is a very short walk away. The complex is at the most desirable quiet end of South Kihei, yet within easy walking distance of Kihei’s shops and restaurants. Our condo has been extensively renovated and modernized! Gleaming bamboo floors throughout our condo luxuriously complement new and tropically themed furniture. Elegant plantation shutters have also been newly installed in both bedrooms. The walls are adorned with stunning new photographic art. The sofa couch in the living room opens to a queen sized bed with a super comfortable double coiled mattress. The main floor bedroom contains a comfortable king bed and has plentiful storage. Upstairs, the private master bedroom is newly furnished with a king bed furniture suite and its own ensuite bathroom. The kitchen features a brand new stainless steel stove, fridge, and microwave as well as an ultra-quiet stainless steel Bosch dishwasher. The kitchen is roomy, modern and fully stocked with everything you need including a coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, rice cooker, and a blender for those tropical drinks you will enjoy while relaxing on the lanai. The full size Maytag washer and high efficiency dryer in the unit are brand new. We've also just installed a 48" SMART TV and a high definition Digital Video Recorder. Our cable subscription includes the Digital Variety and HD Entertainment Paks with over 300 TV channels. And now we've just completed complete renovations to both bathrooms, including new cabinets, stunning granite counter-tops, new beautifully tiled walk-in showers, and all new bathroom fixtures. Our lanai closet contains everything you need for your beach experience: beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers and beach toys. We have an ample supply of beach towels. While the breezes through our 3rd (top) floor condo are wonderful and allow for open windows, the condo has air conditioning in the living room as well as both bedrooms and there are ceiling fans throughout. Soaring cathedral ceilings contribute to the spacious atmosphere. An elevator in our building makes loading luggage, groceries and activities gear a breeze.
