Kamaole Nalu is our favorite place to stay on Maui. Unit was great. Communication was good. Strong recommend for families!

Overall the condo was nice, however there were several bugs and the condo is very dated and small. It was a convenient location. The property sites within an HOA and the property manager who mind you is different than the manager of this condo. The property manager was extremely rude. She began by stating there were property rules on the first day greeting us as we parked. Now this was unknown to us. I asked her for a copy of the rules which she ignored my request. Two days later she advised me that someone reported I had spit off the front entrance of the condo. Again, I asked for the rules and again she ignored my request. This time stated she made our property manager aware of the problem. I expressed our concerns regarding kids knocking on our door and running, she again ignored our problems. The kids running after knocking became such a problem we had to contact 911. We dealt with Officer Beretta and he gave us a police report number 26012992. The last night in our stay, they did catch one of the guys, it is unknown to us what took place between the police department and him.Now our property manager of the condo we did make aware that there were several bugs and responded sending someone that day to bring us bug spray and some light which plugs in to attract insects. This did work some but we were overwhelmed with the amount. We had to constantly spray and kill bugs getting in our beds, on counters and bathroom vanities, this was disgusting.

The property overall is very nice. We had a two bedroom with a spectacular view, however, the condo is tiny and I would not recommend sharing with anyone other than parents with two kids.Unfortunately with all of the rain in the area the gnats have taken over. There were quite a number of gaps in our screens and they took over. It was not good. The owners stress that there is no air conditioning. There should be as the trade winds do not come through this unit.

The location couldn’t be beat, the view was wonderful and the property managers were great but our unit could have been better. It had the bare minimum, no clocks in the bedrooms, no spatulas, salt and pepper- the couches weren’t comfortable at all. I would absolutely stay in this complex again, but I’d pick a different unit.

The location was great, right on the beach. The unit could use a bit of an update. Many of the towels were stained and in poor condition, the curtains were hanging off from the tracks. The property manager was great, we asked for more blankets, she went to Walmart and bought 2 more blankets for the beds. The beds were very comfy. Great property, just needs a little TLC.

We're a family of six and we were very happy with our stay. The place was immaculate, hotel quality cleanliness. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The location is excellent, right next to a quite private beach. Lots of restaurants for both coffee, breakfast and dinner within a short walk.

Beautiful property and location. Sitting steps between two fantastic beaches, this was a great condo for our recent vacation in Maui. Great snorkeling, many turtles swimming by, even viewed a whale playing out by Molikini right from the lanai. We will be back.

Property was as described. We really enjoyed our stay. We had a great view of the beach and ocean. We were able to spot some whales and dolphins from the balcony. There are a lot of shopping locations and great places to eat within walking distance. Several are just across the street from the condo. We would definitely consider staying here on our next trip.

The unit at Kamaole Nalu was wonderful and we highly recommend it. The view is so beautiful and we had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was clean and the bedding was so comfortable. The unit manager was very responsive and accommodating. We look forward to coming back.

I’ll start by saying the location was incredible. However there was a few things that did not meet what we were expecting. For starters the listing said there was a pull out couch, but when we went to open the couch, there was a sign that said they would charge us 200 to open it? There was six of us and needed that extra bed. We were also only provided 4 towels, the place wasn’t the cleanest (couch, walls, saw roaches on multiple days) and the pillows could be upgraded.. the standards just didn’t reflect the price point of this unit.

The location of the unit could not have been better! The pool was right outside our doors and the ocean just a few steps away. The unit was great for two adults and two teenage children. They had everything we needed, including beach, chairs, and beach towels. Great customer service with the front office. Also, the location on the island was perfect. Easy day trip to anywhere we wanted to explore. Hope to return!

An awesome unit in an unbeatable location, literally on the beach. Great snorkeling right off the lawn and beginner-friendly surfing just to the north. Dozens of restaurants are within easy walking distance, making it incredibly convenient to explore, dine, and enjoy the area. It's truly hard to beat a spot with so many superb characteristics.

The view was incredible and so close to the ocean. On calm days there was snorkeling right outside your door with fish and TURTLES! On windy days the waves were boogy board fun size. A really nice group of people from the condo would gather at sunset on the lawn to watch the sun slip behind the horizon with a conch salut. It was truly memorable.

Paradise! Beautiful views, easy access to beach, pool, lawn for tanning, even throwing away trash. So much convenience and beauty and the BEST part is having A/C! Also, falling asleep every night with closed doors, fan and A/C on while STILL hearing the ocean waves….swoon!!! So many amenities of home too- toaster, cooking supplies, coffee and tea maker, etc. Chairs provided for beach, coolers, great balcony for outdoor dining. Having a grab bar in the shower with easy walk in access was amazing for my mobility impaired mom too. Totally worth the high cost! You won't be disappointed!

Condo was easy to locate, within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and steps from the beach. Fell asleep nightly to the sound of the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked - especially for being smaller. The bedrooms were spacious and the host had thought of everything to have available - even starter toiletries. The single brew of the coffee maker does not accommodate Kcups so get ground coffee. This wasn't an issue for us - just worth noting to plan your grocery run. Our family of 4 found the space comfortable, centrally located to a lot of what we wanted to do on the island, clean, and containing everything we needed. The views from the balcony were our favorite part!

This condo was perfect! It was clean, had everything you would need and close to so much. You can walk to shops and restaurants and of course the beach. We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the patio listening to the waves. We will definitely stay here again! Worth every penny!!

We just returned from 5 nights at this Kihei condo. The place was immaculate, furnished perfectly, and in a great location. We appreciated the little extras like beach chairs and a cooler. the location is great, between 2 gorgeous beaches. The buolding has a beautiful lawn where we watched the sunset each night. The condo was great. Short walk to shops, restaurants, beaches and grocery stores. Balcony has a beautiful view!Unfortunately, we were locked out when we came back from grocery stores one day, and it took a while to let us in. Another issue we had was that the toilet seat was broken when checked in, and it was hard to use for our first couple days. A few plumbers came to try to fix it, but it took a few days. The plumbers and communication with property management were good, but we could not relax while they came in and worked Overall, the unit had everything, and it was very nice.

Loved the views from this unit, especially the balcony. Afternoon and early evening noise from the pool was a bit of a bummer - lots of kids and families playing - FYI. There wasn’t any cleaning products so we had to ask for that. We could not get the guest overhead fan to work, but there was a floor fan. AC kept unit nice and cool when we needed it. Loved having plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers to borrow. Unit needs a serrated knife! Great location with lots of food/shopping options within walking distance.

We had a great stay! The apartment has an ocean view, with easy access to the beach. It was very tidy and had a fully stocked kitchen. Even though there's no AC, we did not find it too hot. There are lots of shops and restaurants around as well as places to rent snorkels and paddleboards. Only issue was that the TV remotes did not work.

This rental was great. Beautiful location, beautiful view, beautiful sunsets. Short walk to the beach found us in the water every day. Pool kept the kids occupied even after the sun went down. Many shops and restaurants right across the street covered all our needs. There were always parking spots in the lot. Everything you want from a vacation rental.

The apartment was exactly as described, but the beach and proximity of the apartment to the beach was much better than we imagined. Kamaole Beach 2 was just steps from the apartment and was beautiful and great for paddleboarding, swimming, and snorkeling.

We love staying in Kihei. This unit is in a wonderful location. We loved the condo; they need to fix the sliding door though. We also recommend earplugs because of the trash hauler - we were just fine with no A/c but with the windows open, it could be loud. Beautiful beaches, tough to bear!

The view is a 1000 out of 10. The condo itself is more dated then pictures reveal - it does the job but bathrooms are small and very dated - we had 5 people and I wouldn’t do anymore than that. Outside is gorgeous but slightly dated - very amazing and convenient beach access - gorgeous sunsets!
