My husband and I were very pleased with the rental in Poipu. It was very well appointed and handsome surprises for us. I had purchased whole bean coffee at the grocery store and when I realized it early in the morning, I thought oh they won't have a coffee grinder, but lo and behold they did. We were very happy with the accommodations in the close proximity to Poipu Beach. Thank you. We will be back.

The property is really run down and is in serious need of new carpets, counter tops etc The photos did not show just how much work the condo needs. Location is great and the staff at the front desk is really nice but the condo itself needs a lot of TLC

Great suite, clean, easy check in and out down the road at the office. Suite came with beach chairs, beach towels, 2 sets of trekking poles, golf balls and a beach umbrella. AC unit is only for the bedroom but the dining and living rooms have fans. Shower water pressure is good but takes forever to warm up. HOA prohibits hanging anything on the furniture or balcony railings to dry. Access to shops and restaurants is a 5min drive away and the beach is a 7 min walk. You also get access to the athletics club down the road for free. Overall loved our time here and would definitely book again.

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect. We really enjoyed sitting out on the lanai, walking to the beach, and visiting the Koloa fruit stand. A/C units in bedroom and loft worked great, kitchen had everything we needed, and condo was plenty of space for our family of 4. Host was very responsive and provided excellent instructions for check-in.

The location of the property is outstanding . You can take a walk through the well maintained Property grounds to breneccke and Poipu beaches and the restaurant a down there . The property itself is charming and was well furnished . Guess it was an unusually hot spell during our trip with barely a breeze and we were sorely wishing for ac throughout the house . The portable unit in the bedroom worked great though for sleeping .

Great quiet location with a short walk to 2 nice beaches; Brennecke's and Poipu. Beach chairs and umbrella included in closet.Kitchen adequately stocked for cooking, and outdoor grill was clean and worked well.The bed and pillows weren't the most comfortable.Air mattresses were in closet if you plan to have more than 2 people.

Garden unit chosen specifically because it was ground level and close to two others rented for the larger group. Excellent choice! Well appointed, nicely decorated, great location for the delightful walk down to Poipu beach park. Grassy areas great for the kids to burn off energy. BBQ close by. Beach closet even had snorkels and an umbrella, in addition to the chairs, cooler, boogie boards, towels...... Well Done! and Thanks!

We had a great time at Poipu Kai. The place was very clean and spacious. It was a quick walk to the beach to see sea turtles on the beach resting and in the water while snorkeling. It is a great location and we loved how it was a short drive to all the excursions we had planned as well as Old Koloa Town.

After we got over the surprise that we weren’t on ground floor, we soon realized the best view was from 2nd level! we loved the place. Roomy, comfy, well supplied kitchen.
Could use new linens and a walk in shower would be great.

Great location with beautiful evening breezes. Comfy king bed and all the amenities we could ask for. Susan was very responsive to booking messages and we appreciated her checking in on us during our stay.The property has a few items that need attention such as a broken cabinet door and the carpets could use a refresh. But overall it was lovely. We would definitely stay again!

Everything was OK. Condo could use a renovation. Location is good for families with kids or anyone planning to spend all day at the beach. Kitchen is serviceable but not suitable for a chef. Condo was too noisy for our tastes ( tennis players load and early in the morning - families partying at the pool).Host/management is good, condo was very clean and parking was fine.

Wonderful reception at Suite Paradise office during check in/out! Rental location is ideal for walking to beach or exploring the scenic Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail. Quiet nights and peaceful mornings (even the Kauai chickens seem to respect the early mornings ;). Would definitely stay here again!

It was a very old and outdated unit. There were many, many flies that were inside the unit even if we never opened any windows; the dishwasher leaked water; the bathroom was old, the vent fan sounded like it is going to fall off. It made for a very unpleasant stay. Had to cut our stay short because of all these issues, and had to find another hotel to stay in.

Unfortunately, there were several issues that significantly impacted our experience. Smoking is not allowed on the lanai, yet the guests above us smoked on their lanai for the first two nights. The smoke consistently wafted directly into our condo through the sliding doors and windows. We called security numerous times, and no action was taken until more than 24 hours later.Even after the issue was considered “resolved,” cigarette smoke continued to come into our unit through the bathroom ventilation system. This made it impossible to fully avoid the smoke during our stay.We contacted the VRBO owner multiple times through the platform regarding this issue and never received a response. We also contacted VRBO support, who informed us that the owner refused to refund or relocate us despite the ongoing smoking problem.The kitchen was also very minimally stocked, with only salt and pepper and limited cookware, making it difficult to prepare meals. Additionally, the condo felt dated compared to expectations.Overall, while the location has potential, the smoking issues, lack of owner communication, and condition of the unit made this stay far less enjoyable than anticipated.

Had multiple emails and texts prior to our arrival. Check-in/ check-out was simple. Pool convenient to each unit. Beach is walkable, but small and lots of people. Lots of food options, including close grocery stores. There is an AC unit in the bedroom, but we found keeping the windows opened was most comfortable.
